The amenities were great, and the bed was especially comfortable, which made for a restful stay. We didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast, but everything else met our needs. For a quick and convenient stay, we would definitely consider coming back.

This was a terrible stay. First it is partially my fault for not reading the fine print that they charge for parking. This is ridiculous. Everyone in line checking in were complaining. The parking is not anything special. It is a normal hotel parking lot. No added security or anything else to warrant a extra charge other then trying to get extra money out of you after paying for your room already. Next I asked the girl at the front desk why I was initialing the form for check in and she said she didn't know. Apparently you have to initial what the charge is and what your room number is. Next we get into the elevator to go to the 2nd floor and it won't move. Us and another guest tried everything. When we told the front desk she said the elevator on the left works. Problem was we couldn't get the elevator on the left to open because the other elevator was sitting there. We finally got it to open but by this time I was pretty upset. Also it didn't feel like a very safe area.

The room was clean, bed very comfortable. AC worked perfectly. Staff very nice and friendly. Breakfast was good. The attendent working was excellent. She kept the area spotless. There were families with small children that made spills, but she was nice and cleaned up after them. The hotel has several places to eat within easy walking distance. The only issue was we were notified during check in that there would be a charge for parking. This was not on their website and we paid in full 2 weeks in advance. The charge for parking was waived.

The only thing is that the free breakfast needs to include Mexican cuisine choices as well.

Hotel is very nice. Be prepared to pay for parking as part of your incidentals. They may or may not tell you when you check in. It took me three stays and chasing receipts for my expense report before they told me.

Absolutely loved staying here. From walking in the lady at front desk greeted and assisted us, she also gave us a little welcome goodie bag. As soon as we got to our room it was clean. No bad smells. Everything worked fine. Breakfast was good I do wish they had more options like scrambled eggs, biscuits etc. The property is close to a lot of Food places so you have plenty of options from fast food to Dining in. Overall our stay was great. We will definitely be coming back.

They cancelled our reservation on Hotels.com and booked walk ins instead. So when we went to check in at 4pm there were no rooms avaliable. The lady at the customer service desk seemed completely fed up with her job before we even tried to check in. She told us our reservation was cancelled, the hotel is fully booked and there is nothing she can do. You wont be charged and then she moved on. I get there is nothing she could do since there were no rooms, but you could tell she couldnt care less. We could not find anywhere else to stay on a Sat night so had to drive the 4 hrs back home.

I booked adjoining rooms and notated it in my reservation. Called the hotel after I booked on Expedia and confirmed. When I got to the hotel with my family; no adjoining rooms available. They had our rooms on separate floors which would not work. Finally got rooms next to each other but that’s not what I booked and requested.

Nice staff, quick check in/out process and quiet area. The hotel is definitely not new but appears well maintained. Bring your own pillows...they are fluffy and soft but so flat it's more comfortable without them.

The parking is the only issue. Half of the parking spots are reserved so you have to park far by the car wash and there is hardly any light over there.

When we checked in the lady at the front desk was wonderful! She checked us in quickly, set me up with rewards so I could do a late check out on Sunday for the championship game! The hotel was clean overall however, our room was not cleaned. We saw the lady coming towards our room so we even ate in the lobby so she could clean and it was not done. Then after we went back up to our room, that was when they came to our door. It almost felt strategic. As I’ve been staying in hotels lately, the room is not cleaned as often as it used to be in the past and it’s frustrating.

Bed was as average as you get. Not uncomfortable but the sheets weren’t exactly the softest and most inviting. The pillows were great. Lastly, they had great options in the morning for breakfast. I recommend waking up slightly early to get access. Cheese omelets, bacon, turkey sausage, muffins and pancakes, yogurt and a selection of milk and coffee.

It was close to downtown and next to mayor highways. Breakfast was a little repetitive after a few days and needs a little more variety. Room was really comfortable along with the bathroom. Walk-in shower was great. Wi-Fi was adequate for surfing the web, YT and some streaming. Free parking is available.

The hotel was ok. The front desk was very nice. Only issue is the hotel is located along a highway that is being torn down and re built. The noise from 11pm to 4am was non stop. Heavy machinery and very loud noises if you face the highway. Microwave and coffee maker did not work, but the breakfast down stairs was very good.

Angie went above & beyond for me! I missed breakfast & she brought me a plate she was able to scrounge up from the leftovers! Fruit (an orange AND an apple!), a bagel, a couple of Turkey Sausage patties & a pb&j Smuckers grape jelly crustless sandwich. Such a thoughtful gesture & certainly not what I'd expected nor have ever experienced before!!! Her actions will be remembered, shared by me & undoubtedly will help people with making decisions about choosing Holiday Inn for their next stay. Angie is most definitely an asset for the company & exceeded my expectations for sure. As far as everything else, the room was nice & clean with VERY comfortable mattress & pillows. Nice big TV. A safe. ICE COLD AC!! I used the laundry facilities, which are open at all times, with two washers & dryers. Payment is by card only. The breakfast was ok ... I believe the cheese & egg omelettes are premade. Edible just nothing to brag about. Sausage gravy was a bit runny & also a funny taste... couldn't tell if it was the biscuit or the gravy. They had a pancake maker but didn't try it... perhaps tomorrow as I will be extending my stay! Fruits, cereals, yogurts, muffins & juices are plentiful. Housekeeping never came... perhaps because I kept the tag on my door saying 'Not ready'. Today is day 3. Will edit if they come today. Overall I would rate it a 9 out of 10 stars. Parking on property grounds ? Expect to pay 3.99 per day....🤔

I didn’t like anything about this hotel and the younger girl in front desk that worked that morning longer hair was very rude and discriminated against my partner and I which the other lady manger I believe Ann was her name never apologized about will never be back to these brand hotels and I’ll let my family and friends know as well as my social media about this incident. Rooms super dirty and the younger girl discriminated against my partner and I thought it would be funny to put us in a connecting room with a screaming child next door when I clearly told her I need rest as I’ve been up for almost 24 hours from a long trip. Had to go all the way back down to front desk to change rooms and she puts me in a better and quieter room but room was very dirty. Never again!!!!

Sound insulation is not good. This hotel is close to highway and can hear lot of road noise. Charged additional parking fees in front of hotel that's not even covered. Doesn't feel safe in this area. They charge premium for the room for an average hotel.

I’ve stayed at this property a couple times now. I like this property very much. The location is within walking distance to restaurants/fast food. The rooms are very clean but most importantly, Leticia was very helpful, kind, and patient during my stay at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites San Antonio North Windcrest. She was there when I needed tape because I tore my vehicle parking permit so that I could put it up on my windshield. She was there there when I needed a spoon for my take out order. She was there to help me with my membership. She was the first to welcome me to San Antonio. Leticia is definitely an amazing person and an asset to the IHG brand!

The AC unit by the window had black mold spots on the vents. That definitely needs to be cleaned. I would have rated it higher except for that fact.

The hotel stay was good. Cleanliness was average.

Only thing i really liked but only used once, was the availability of eateries within walking distance. Front staff was very pleasant. Room appeared clean but was unbelievably dusty everywhere. The bathroom sink was very slow draining and it smelled of rotten eggs/sulpher. There were lots of new nails and some type of parts on window sill. Very noisey. Didnt get any rest that weekend. Paid almost $600.00 to 2 days for that.

CLEANEST HOTEL. I haven't stayed at a hotel this clean in years. The staff is amazing, it is well priced, great parking, very safe. I left another place of lodging in the area that was not in a safe location and could not have been happier about my decision. Honestly, can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

Check in process was quick, though there was a bit of a wait as there was only one receptionist. Room was clean, equipped with a fridge and microwave. Shopping and many food options are in the same area, walking distance. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was friendly, but once breakfast is closed, there is a lady who starts spraying tables with cleaning solution while you’re still eating. Other than that, the experience was great here.

This hotel was very clean, and the front desk clerks were very nice. The breakfast buffet spread was hot & fresh, and also a very clean set up. I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you are visiting Morgan’s Wonderland with your loved ones, just as I did with my son.

The whole hotel was clean, friendly service, very comfortable beds and quick customer service when needed.

Place was pretty average. Bed sheets and pillow cases smelled like someone’s hot breath so I doubt they changed them. Plus they had fingerprints as if someone ate chips and grabbed the blanket. Luckily we had our own cases and comforters. Shower didn’t really have good pressure. Could use some updating.

We had issues with check-in. Trying to charge us for parking. Beware. We chose this hotel through this website that said free, self parking, or we could’ve chosen something closer to our event.The room was clean, although there were three of us. There was only two sets of towels. We had to go down and get it because the phone in the room was broken. The light at the entry to the room was broken, breakfast didn’t have enough cereal but many options but one of the customers came and took everything, and the worker did not replace anything. I let him know items needed to be replaced but we could tell he was bothered by us even though it was only 9am, it closed at 10a.
