Reviews
The hotel receives mixed reviews, with some guests praising its location and affordability, while others express dissatisfaction with cleanliness and amenities. The hotel's proximity to local attractions is a common positive, but concerns about room cleanliness and maintenance issues are frequently mentioned.
- Close proximity to local attractions such as the Riverwalk and Alamo
- Affordable pricing compared to nearby hotels
- Issues with room cleanliness, including reports of dirt, stains, and unpleasant smells
- Maintenance issues, such as broken fixtures and noisy environments
- 3/5
Air conditioning was being controlled by front desk. It wasn’t getting cold enough.
- 3/5
Estuve 20 minutos esperando la persona saliera
- 4/5
All good, for one or two nights will be ok. Staff was ok, quick check in and basic classic breakfast of bread and waffles, cereals. Location good enough to be walkable and just tale a bus from across street.
- 3/5
The room that got very smelly
- 1/5
Rooms are filthy with roaches, i requested a 2nd room cause of dirty floors, and a person fake press on nail, on the floor along with dirty desk with dust and a white powder like personal make up. The second room had a musky smell and at night i stepped on a roach that had ran out of the seat that i sat on.
- 4/5
Walking distance to The Alamo and riverwalk.
- 2/5
Very basic amenities (no protein for breakfast, just coffee and starches). Staff with little effort (eight people waiting for coffee to be made but attendant wasn’t responsive). Rooms without air conditioning on in Texas in middle of summer, (need to start upon entry) and finally cooled be midnight. Location is good, but split between buildings means you need to walk between buildings if you need a new key or want to check in/out. Three bare linens are clean, water is hot, parking is convenient, TV easy to operate with many channels. I will stay at Tru by Hilton next time and see how it compares for same location.
- 3/5
Hotel was good for price and location. The young lady who cleaned our room was very attentive and nice. Location is honestly great, but there were 2 problems that made me give such a low review. 1st there free breakfast was cereal and a couple pieces of fruit, maybe they could have put a few more things and secondly and the worse of all. BEWARE 16.00 A DAY PARKING. This is so where on the service fees on the location. And there reasoning was everyone charges parking. Which in theory is correct, 5.00 almost anywhere near there but 16 a day is way over priced.
- 2/5
The only thing that I like that was OK was that the hotel was right around the corner from the convention center for the women’s convention but other than that everything else was poor the room had a smell that was coming out the bathroom so I had to go to Walmart and buy fabulous and beach spray so that I won’t smell the terrible smell that was coming out of that bathroom in that hotel room and the rooms do not look like what they put on the Internet. The room was very poorand then when I checked out, I’m still right now as I’m writing this trying to get my deposit back from the hotel. Do not recommend staying at this hotel and I will never be back at the days inn by Wyndham in San Antonio, Texas on 400 Bowie St.
- 2/5
Hotel is located in two different sites. Had to pay $16 to park on site. The room we were initially given was not ready, with an unmade bed, stained comforter on the dresser and pillows throughout the room.
- 5/5
Cerca de Riverwalk
- 3/5
Todo está bien
- 2/5
Nickel and diming for parking was unfortunate. I got to “breakfast (that was not a breakfast) at 9 am and there was no coffee and I was too late for some. I did not enjoy my stay there.
- 5/5
prefect location!
- 4/5
Fine place, close to Alamo and River walk
- 4/5
Beware there are no elevators. I didnt notice that when I booked
- 5/5
This was like 2 blocks from The Alamo, boy 5-6 minutes walk to river walk. Perfect spot. Mall and movie theater across the street. Mexican food restaurant right down the road and dennys couple blocks up behind . Staff friendly. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Nice staff. Breakfast very slim choice. Go to Dennys
- 5/5
Great stay and you have to pay parking but compared to parking everywhere else it's not to bad
- 5/5
Perfect location, walking distance from a lot of things. Breakfast was fine.
- 5/5
Everything is so good.
- 1/5
At check in we where notified about a daily parking fee. Then my husband opened the room door and took notice the door was left open! Then in the room it smelt weird, there was poop in the toilet, the door to the other room was open! Then my husband checked to make sure our key card worked and it didn't, goes to tell the lady and she gave us a different room. Overall won't ever be staying at this place or any other Days Inn! So bad we ended up changing hotels. The lady needs better customer service skills.
- 4/5
The rental was as expected for the price. Was decent however from my experience the shower was not cleaned properly and the towels had stains. When checking in their is a $19 fee for parking. The area is fine and I felt safe so the motel over all is a good stay. I would stay here again because it's value.

- 5/5
The clean room was awesome. Had everything i needed.
- 1/5
No pool rooms nasty and loud neighborhood
- 5/5
This hotel exceeded my expectations. It’s great value for what you are paying for. Friendly staff, felt safe. For anyone looking at this hotel for AirForce graduation, it’s 18 minutes away from base. Close to the riverwalk. 10/10 will stay again
- 5/5
Convenient location from Riverwalk. Good amenities.
- 4/5
.
- 5/5
Was excited to get my room cleaned out and was amazing customer service
- 5/5
Everything was great been staying there for years and no complaints
- 4/5
I enjoyed my stay overall. The hotel was clean, the air conditioning worked great, and the location was perfect—very close to downtown. The only downside was the breakfast, which was disappointing, so we ended up going out to eat instead. Otherwise, a comfortable and convenient place to stay.
- 4/5
clean, quite, great location!
- 5/5
Great room
- 5/5
The air was nice and cool
- 4/5
Room was clean. I wish the TV had Netflix
- 3/5
Decent area. Close to the Riverwalk. Split property so we had go cross a busy street to get breakfast. Not horrible but decent for motel quality.
- 4/5
Loved that it was affordable for the location. Couple minutes to The Alamo and RiverWalk. Basic breakfast to start the day. The room was clean and the property was quiet. Only drawbacks were the do charge a $100 deposit, which is not returned until after check out and still a few days for the processing, and there was dailyparking fees. Luckily previous reviews mentioned this so I was prepared after budgeting. All and all I would stay again.
- 3/5
2 differrent complexes...great location...walking distance to everything...office not stocked with water...no vending machines
- 3/5
Terrible smells in the rooms
- 3/5
Pay the extra on the room and parking it will be worth it. River walk is a nice area to walk around so stay downtown.
- 3/5
Breakfast (which was minimal) was across the street, as there were 2 separate buildings. In addition, there was a per day charge for parking of $16. The bed was comfortable and the plumbing worked, but the building looked unkempt. Needs an upgrade compared to other Days Inn I've stayed at.
- 5/5
Paid parking need to be told about and a deposit required upon check in didn’t have a problem paying it but a heads up been nice
- 4/5
It was a good stay
- 3/5
The pool was a little dirty They need better TV remotes Also they need freezers not just coolers. The website indicates that the breakfast service is available until 10 am but the staff said is until 9 am The staff were really attentive and polite
- 2/5
The place is not worth the price, you can hear people next door... I feel is way price for the location, place and food.
- 1/5
I have traveled all over the US for nearly 60 years. This motel was the worst I have ever seen. We got in late and were forced to stay one night of our 5 nights in this dump. Then checked out the next day and moved to a Hilton property. Wyndham should be ashamed they have their flag on it.
- 1/5
Had bedbugs very dirty staff was extremely rude flthere was throw up on the floor and a place was extremely dirty
- 3/5
Ac works well. Breakfast lacks a protein
- 1/5
They charge extra for parking, they had been bugs and the room was filthy. There was blood under the mattress and vomit behind the desk just for starters. We did not stay, we left, and when complaining to the lady at the front desk she was very rude and had no idea about anything
- 2/5
The room was dirty, the bathroom smelled bad, the sheets were dirty, the air conditioning didn’t work well, and the breakfast area was far from the room.
- 4/5
We chose this property for price and location. We were in town for a NBA game and its an 8 minute drive down the road. We also made use of the walking distance to the Alamo, River Walk and the mall. The room was clean and we really appreciated the breakfast. I would recommend this property and i would stay again.
- 5/5
Front desk girl was great always so helpful
- 2/5
You are charged for parking and if something happens they are not responsible. Additionally, the parking lot is small and congested. Small space with alot of traffic. First and last stay.
- 4/5
There were cobwebs on the ceiling.
- 3/5
Rooms weren’t very clean. Beds were fine. Close to riverwalk and shopping center.
- 5/5
Great location, close to rverything.
- 4/5
Clean room. Good ac. Staff was nice. Had to pay for parking. Could use better pillows. Thank You.
- 3/5
The shower water had an odor, just let the water run and it went away..
- 5/5
Only draw back was not being informed that we would be charged for parking per night and a $100 security fee
- 2/5
Musty, bad smelling room. FILTHY floors! No towel rack or bath towels in room. Noisy. Bathroom door does not close or lock.
- 4/5
Clean room/ Good area/ parking
- 5/5
It was very nice and comfortable at the hotel, I love the peace and quiet I experience during my two day stay.
- 3/5
All you need to see in San Antonio is a short walk away.
- 2/5
The room smell’s old and dirty; we had to ask for new towels every day, and on the breakfast if you get after 8:00 am you find little food; they don’t replenish not even coffe or juice!
- 5/5
Great place to stay,
- 1/5
They charged alot for room and parking charges was too much and separate, plus complimentary breakfast was mention but they don't have either tea or jam or honey in the breakfast. very limited items were there. when i asked staff they don't responded properly and just told we don't have tea or jam or any fruit. The rates were too high plus the room was also smelling like water park and the bed sheets were also very dirty and yellow
- 2/5
La habitacion tenia un olor extraño y las toallas son demasiado pequeñas
- 1/5
Rude staff
- 4/5
Clean room, parking was good i like that hotel is walking distance to Riverwalk and to restaurant.
- 4/5
The room had a musty smell the entire time but we were basically only in the room to sleep. The location and price cant be beat. It's a short walk to everything that we wanted to do. They charge parking but we left the car there and walked everywhere to avoid paying parking downtown. We didn't eat the breakfast so I can't comment on the quality of it.
- 5/5
AC was effective and staff was friendly
- 3/5
The room was clean but the toilet wouldn't flush. When we called about it they just gave us a plunger and it still didn't work. We asked for a other room and they finally fixed it.
- 1/5
It’s smells terrible, like mold, the floor had bunch of hair everywhere, the shower ru tub was dirty, I had to shower with my flip flops.
- 3/5
The check-in was easy, room was clean, room was nicely cool, and the parking was easy. I will just say the layout of the Days Inn was not ideal for me. You can hear everything happening outside. From people walking by, talking, and all the cars driving by, even after 3am. I did not get any sleep.
- 2/5
The
- 2/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful. But the lock on the door was broken, two ceiling lights didn’t work, the ironing board was missing, and the handle of the sink came completely off when I went to wash my hands.
- 3/5
Towels thin and not too absorbent No towel bars anywhere to hang damp towels Clean enough room but not immaculate by any means It was very noisy with traffic noise as we were at the very end beside the road Good location so we could walk everywhere.
- 1/5
Just bad property to say. Don’t waste time.
- 2/5
Told the breakfast room opens at 7:00 was 6:36 before the door was unlocked. Also no milk for the offered cereals. The morning associate was very rude
- 3/5
Hotel was just ok. We only stayed one night. The AC cooled well. An older place and a bit run down. Towels are old. Staff was nice. Parking lot was tight.
- 3/5
The refrigerator keep making noise, property shows shuttle service but no shuttle service so expect to uber. A/c goes in and out like a toxic relationship. The location is a block from the Alamo and the rates were decent. Overall 3/5
- 4/5
The price was good for being downtown, close to almost everything, friendly staff, room was great
- 1/5
It is unacceptable to pay for a room that doesn't meet basic sanitary standards. The lack of attention to detail and cleanliness is concerning. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you value hygiene."
- 5/5
Nice location close to conference center, and the room is huge
- 5/5
THE ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN, IT HAS EVERYTHING WE NEED.
- 5/5
Was very clean, check in went smooth, the front desk clerk was friendly and courteous, location was amazing. Outside noise was a little loud at times but nothing to serious. $15 to park at a hotel you are staying at is silly but it beats the $40 charge at the public lots & garages. Air conditioner worked fantastic. Shower was hot with great water pressure. Well worth the stay. Will reserve a room here again without hesitation.
- 1/5
Horrible
- 1/5
Dirty, gross, scary.
- 5/5
Amazing and friendly staff!
- 1/5
Room was questionable In cleanliness
- 4/5
There was a chemical smell in one of our room. Not bad just there
- 4/5
Hairdryer didn’t work, I told staff and they said would get sorted but this never happened. Went to go in swimming pool but it didn’t look very clean
- 4/5
Pretty basic but clean. Can't beat the location -- walking distance to Alamo and Convention Center. Good value.
- 4/5
I do wish we knew about the parking fee before hand but it was reasonably priced and worth it. The rooms open to the outside and everyone in the lobby was nice and helpful. Reasonably priced and would definitely stay again.
- 4/5
Room was basic but clean. TV worked well. But phone did not work. Motel is walking distance to Riverwalk and restaurants.
- 5/5
Awesome location, at walking distance of many attractions.
- 4/5
My time at this hotel was pretty good! The shower water pressure was so strong I felt all the dirt and grim wash away! About a 5 minute walk to the rivercenter mall and alamo and it has parking on site for a 16 dollar fee per night. Highly recommend and would use this hotel again if i ever come back to san antonio
- 2/5
The wood floors were dirty. Walking around barefoot turned my feet black. I had to wipe the floors down myself using a washcloth and it turned the towels black too. I had to clean my feet constantly. The first day the room was not cleaned or restocked with toilet paper. I called and the office told me I could come get it myself… because there was nobody available to bring it to me… The next day our room was not cleaned or restocking with toiletries or clean towels. I called the office to complain and the office checked the log and said that it shows my room was cleaned. I advised that it wasn’t. He said he’d send someone out to take care of it. The next day, we came in late and again the room was not cleaned or restocked! I called the office again and the person said they would bring me the towels! He had to answer for why the room was not cleaned. Super disappointed! I’ve never had this experience!
- 1/5
Rooms nasty, check inn rude, breakfast was inadequate supplied, check out rude,.
- 3/5
The beds were not cleaned properly. The breakfast time was incorrect—it was supposed to start at 6:00 a.m., but we were still waiting outside at 6:40. They also charge for parking. There was no drinking water, no slippers, and none of the basic amenities that show respect for guests—it felt like they were just trying to take advantage of customers.
- 5/5
Great location, can walk to almost everything in downtown SA
- 5/5
Great!
- 1/5
Surprise fees and surprise $100 deposit. Gave me a hard time because my last name was different, I’ve never had a hard time before.
- 3/5
The room wasn’t clean had airs in the sink and chair, the breakfast area looked dirty.
- 3/5
Not many options for breakfast, no fruits, no proteins
- 2/5
The bed was very hard.
- 4/5
Last minute
- 1/5
Definitely did not like this hotel old and smelled terrible
- 2/5
They do have continental breakfast but no protein like a hard boiled egg - after the first day we went to dennys Location wise was perfect - we needed the convention center and it was a quick walk to it and the restaurants and Alamo nearby
- 2/5
The bed was ok.
- 4/5
The room was older but clean and updated. The only complaint I have is there was a ball of hair on the side of the bed. Grossed me out
- 5/5
Not a bad place to stay
- 5/5
Easy check in. Friendly staff.
- 5/5
Room was great and clean ac worked great. Great location accessible to downtown. Breakfast was not so great cereals looked as they had been there for a long while and the area wasn't so clean. Customer service was a 4 star> I would definitely, book at this location soon.
- 3/5
It was near the river walk
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Easy to check in, as far as time goes. Other places seem to have taken a bit longer to get a room.
- 3/5
Didnt let me know we had to pay an extra fee for parking.
- 5/5
Simple, clean room, excellent air conditioning! Tons of amenities near by, excellent prices, and amazing customer service.

They charge us $32 usd for the parking space (not included in the rate) and couldn't find the info in the hotel description. Besides that, the housekeeping didn't do our room the day after our first night. According to their logbook it was done ( that wasn't true). So, next time at SATX will stay in a different place. I don't recommend this hotel.

The door was very tight on the "new" floor tile, hard to open and close. The hot water did not get to 120 degrees EVER. the sheets on the bed look and felt old. the breakfast was minimum quality to be generous, a waffle and yogurt, maybe other bread products and cereal, no eggs or meat. the staff tried but obviously struggle with english or spanish

The lady in the front we checked in with was great. She was nice! The room was really neglected and the lock latch was broken. Their was a weird smell as well. Also the person next to us were screaming and arguing with each other for a few hours and I'm pretty sure they were beating each other up. At about 2 or 3am people upstairs were stomping and opening and closing something up until 6am. I went the cheap route and would never go there again.

You get what you pay for. Stay somewhere else if you can afford it. We checked in and the gentleman at the front desk didn't look up from his video game he was playing to great us for about 10 seconds as we stood there. They then gave us our rooms (2). They say no smoking anywhere in the building but the rooms smell like an ashtray, both of them. I wouldn't be comfortable with bare feet in the room. My pillow cases were dirty with make-up and dirt stains, I went and exchanged my pillows right away. The next day they never made up our rooms, both of them. I called the front desk about it and they didn't seem to care, the cleaning people were gone for the day. The following day they made up one room and only part of the 2nd room. I was able to get them to come back and finish the 2nd room. You definitely feel like you are inconveniencing the staff by asking for anything. Only positive I can give it is that it is nicely located in walking distance to the river walk and the attractions surrounding. I would never stay her again. Spend a little more money and enjoy your stay elsewhere. You're welcome.

- 3/5
The staff were very kind. The room however, needed some work. A good deep clean, and then more thorough cleanings moving forward would improve the room a lot. The doors, baseboards, etc weren’t very clean. The toilet rocked when you sat on it. The main concern though was the flooring. There were pieces broken. In the room it was bad enough that it would catch on our shoes and end with us stumbling. The bathroom flooring was the most concerning. There was a significant crack and hole in the floor behind the toilet next to the shower where mold could easily grow.
- 4/5
This is a motel. Nothing more, nothing less. Everything was fine and adequate. I paid a lot for day of the dead weekend. If you are desperate for a place to stay, this will do. But nothing to write home about.
- 3/5
Room was ok I was giving a handicap king bed room due to not having what I reserved. Also the property didn’t mention a parking fee which I had to pay when I got there…
- 3/5
The pillows are too bulky and for a king bed only 3 pillows.
- 1/5
Also, they charge your card double when you get there as a “deposit” so bring cash. Will never stay here again.
- 2/5
Breakfast wasn’t ready when they said and you do have to pay 17$ for parking when on the website it said free
- 3/5
Room was ok; but asked to be moved to different room due to the bed had big black stains on it. Staff was friendly. Close to River Walk and Alamo.
- 1/5
Charged us for parking and the room was very old and dirty- wore our shoes right after a shower!!!
- 1/5
staff was quick to help, but the room had poop splashed on the wall and on the toilet........... I noticed the toilet first and then realized it was on the wall. they cleaned it when we pointed it out. the room also smelled funky (probably due to the issue stated). Some of the floorboards were coming up as well.
- 3/5
The room was a bit dirty and the towels were gray and threadbare. The staff was friendly and the location was great though. The breakfast selection was great for kids, but if you have any special dietary needs plan
- 5/5
It was clean and met my expectations. Just bit of hard to find the parking. May be instructions about where to park would have helped, especially they have two facilities.
- 1/5
Mold are everywhere Weed smells
- 1/5
Room was needing repairs all over the place, felt like a concrete box. Tv didn't work
- 3/5
Super loud all night long. Front desk staff not the friendliest. Could be cleaner. Convenient proximity to the Alamo and the Riverwalk.
- 5/5
It was clean, comfortable and within walking distance from downtown. The lady at the front desk let us check in early when we landed earlier than usual. Would definitely come back again
- 3/5
Fresh coat of paint would do it wonders! More comfortable pillows, cleaner towels, water pressure wasn’t all that great. Had a musty smell. Staff was very friendly. Don’t understand why we had to pay extra for parking if we paid for the reservation. More selections in the breakfast area..
- 4/5
Room was clean and conveniently close to everything I needed to get to.
- 4/5
I received a random call from the front desk at midnight that woke me up to ask if my AC in rm. 139 was working ok?? The shower drain was slow so the tub filled up a few inches while I was showering every day. Other than that, room was clean, staff courteous, breakfast and location were good.
- 5/5
Beds were amazing!!!!
- 5/5
Clean room nice staff
- 3/5
We had transferred to this hotel after our first hotel was an absolute dump. This hotel was clean, and we had our room cleaned every day, except for 1 in our 6 day stay. We slept in on that day. The towels were old, grey and raggity (but clean). There were no bugs that we saw (although when we were checking in, the exterminator was there treating some rooms. I would rather a hotel that treats for bugs than one that ignores the situation. The woman who worked the overnight was so nice and welcoming. The continental breakfast decent. Waffles, yogurt, bread, OJ, Coffee, 2 sugar cereals.
- 5/5
Budget friendly and quiet enough within comfortable walking distance of the Riverwalk District.
- 5/5
Clean staff was nice and helpful and down town was walking distance
- 5/5
Yes the room and staff were amazing will definitely come back and refer it to people
- 3.5/5
Clean quiet and hot water
- 5/5
Everything
- 2/5
Sheets, comforter and towels looked dirty and stained
- 5/5
It was actually a good stay rooms were clean
- 1/5
terrible, dont even bother t. stuff and management don't even respond to anything!
- 5/5
Everything was great! Safe, clean and convenient.
- 4/5
Air conditioning worked fine. During my stay, the heater worked fine as well. I did not need parking as everything was close to where I needed to go.
- 4/5
Clean room and heat worked just fine
- 2/5
Wi-Fi worked great. Staff was kind and courteous. Room was clean but the flooring was buckled in places of high traffic. Breakfast needs protein options, e.g. eggs, meat, vegetables etc.
- 4/5
The payment of the parking was unnecessary
- 5/5
Clean, comfy beds.
- 2/5
I was surprised there was a fee for parking, the towels were thin and somewhat grayish in color, the bathroom had some repairs (baseboard by shower and door latch) which could be done. Lastly, the person at check-in was efficient enough but was occupied in between the check-in process with what appeared to be a hand held game.
- 4/5
Clean room & great location
- 5/5
Nice location.close to Riverwalk.good customer service’s friendly .love it
- 1/5
It was dirty. It smelled nasty. The locks were broken. They charge for parking.
- 1/5
And that sucks Hotel charge for parking and take from deposit I never did that before
- 5/5
Clean room
- 1/5
The room was not properly cleaned. There was hair on the bedsheets and the room had a bad smell. I wouldnt recommend or stay at this location again.
- 4/5
Muy Céntrico y con todo lo necesario
- 4/5
It was great for the one night stay we needed.
- 3/5
The room was good for the price and location.
- 5/5
The hotel is near downtown, you can literally walk anywhere like El Alamo Museum
- 1/5
bery poor customer service . nasty rooms . too early breakfas. overcharge for parking . non working sowers. non working microwave etc etc etc
- 3/5
The photo on Expedia misguided us. It looks as if this hotel has multistory build behind the parking space but it actually has only 2 story building which looks like motels and looks to be unsafe. But, the Hotel between other star hotels so we felt safe. Beside all this it is walkable to Alamo and Riverwalk. They charge for parking however it is less amount compared to other hotels. We dont have many option for breakfast and space is very less.
- 3/5
Yes ac was working and parking was easy
- 5/5
All good
- 3/5
Well located hotel to get many places like Alamo, Riverwalk and more. What we didn't like was the breakfast, very poor options.
- 5/5
No complaints about this hotel.
- 5/5
Used heat. Saw one sewerbug
- 4/5
Excellent location
- 4/5
Clean rooms, close to Alamo and Riverwalk
- 3/5
We had only one wash cloth and one hand towel. Asked for another pillow, guy on duty said he’d bring it over and never did!
- 1/5
The smell of the sewer, the towel that the previous user used...
- 1/5
The room had dirt and mud on the floor, the sheets were not changed and smelled bad. The door didnt have a security lock and the parking lot was noisy all night. The only giid thing about this hotel is that it is close to the river walk.
- 2/5
It was so outdated, dirty, had a hand towel plugging a hole in the room. Picture of the room was not exactly the same. Towels where old and ragged.
- 1/5
There has been no cleaning in the room, the toilets are clogged, and no one from the hotel staff came for cleaning for one day..
- 5/5
- 4/5
One night stay, i love the proximity to the Alamo and Riverwalk. Parking is cheaper than anywhere else around, although i think parking should be included with the room.
- 3/5
Staff was friendly but the room did not have a shower curtain. It also did not have an in house phone nor a Tv Guide. Too many noices that told me that the rooms are not prperly insulated for sound.
- 4/5
Clean room with plenty of towels. A.C. worked perfectly and t.v. was new along with a working controller. All lights are working and well lighted. No complaints of this property whatsoever! I do travel Extensively so I am very judgmental.
- 3/5
Just in middle of downtown. It is not that clean - we decided to have 1 night stay after seeing seaworld
- 3/5
loose inside.
- 5/5
I love everything. Its not the best hotel but have all what i want. Its near from the river mall, the alamo, and houston st. Ecerythimg was just minutes away. 5 stars.
- 5/5
Room was Clean and comfortable, breakfast was good
- 4/5
The room was clean but had a weird smell. Also, the sink was draining slowing but they fixed it within mins of requesting maintenance. I’m not sure if they were restocking our room but they left it open and we were not there so idk how long it was opened for someone could have stolen our stuff.
- 1/5
No good parking you pay after you rent room 16 dollars a day
- 1/5
Room was in bad condition restroom smelled like sewer the bath tube was clogged and water was rising when taking a shower i wouldn’t recommend staying there terrible for the amount of money they are charging
- 5/5
great
- 5/5
The staff was awesome very helpful and the room was clean housekeeping was amazing as well. Definitely will be staying there again
- 1/5
I didn’t feel safe On top of that they were charging me $17 to park my car in their parking lot overnight I refused the stay and I’m disputing the charges with Expedia
- 5/5
Great
- 4/5
Close to my conference location
- 5/5
Check in was easy. Paid $100 deposit and $16 for parking. The room was good for the 2 nights we stayed during San Antonio marathon weekend. Close to river walk and Alamo. Also was close to main plaza which was the starting line for the marathon.
- 1/5
Worst hotel experience I have had. Way over priced for the product, the hotel room smelled disgusting, there were bugs on the sheets, the air conditioning did not work properly, the TV didn't work, the bathroom sink faucet would spray everywhere if you turned it up too much, the staff checking us in seemed annoyed with us being there, they barely looked up from their phone while checking us in watching videos on his phone. I stay in hotels quite often and this was by far my worst experience.
- 2/5
The sheets were clean but stained. The bed was ridiculously uncomfortable. Would not recommend.
- 2/5
There is a dirty hand towel hanging from restroom shower and one on the rack. I have pictures to show
- 3/5
Lady at the front when I went for check out was really nice!
- 4/5
We had one night stay in this and it was very good. Stay very near to San Antonio river walk. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was good no issues at all. The only thing was. the parking is $16
- 4/5
The cleaning lady brought us fresh towels, only hotel in 8 days that did that.
- 5/5
Distance to Riverwalk was amazing!
- 2/5
The room smelled very bad, like smoke or something. And they charged extra for the parking.
- 3/5
Muffins were stale but no big deal. The first room we booked was advertised as “sleeps 4” but only had one bed. They moved us to a smaller, cheaper room without any refund for the difference. It smelled like tire rubber, so bad I was nauseous within 5 minutes. They moved us to a room across the street which was fine, but the refrigerator was so loud and noisy I had to shut it off completely. They also asked for a deposit which they explained would remain a pending charge on my credit card, however the charge has gone through and there is no reversal or refund on its way. The morning staff lady was sweet.
- 2/5
Continental breakfast
- 2/5
the room had a bad Oder of sewage. it was hard to be in there
- 3/5
Staff was nice, quick check in, room was clean, but it smelled of gasoline. We were too tired to ask for another room.
- 2/5
Cleanliness was an issue. We asked for an extra pillow and towels which were never provided.
- 1/5
- 2/5
Additionally, the electrical outlet near the bathroom sink did not work, and the room had an unpleasant, musty smell. Overall, the condition of the room and the downgrade from what I originally booked were extremely disappointing.
- 2/5
Limited breakfast and high parking fee
- 5/5
Wonderful very close to riverwalk
- 3/5
Drama going on up stairs over couldn’t sleep
- 5/5
Great location, small but gets the work done
- 5/5
- 4/5
Staff was courteous
- 4/5
Good clean small beds
- 5/5
Very polite and friendly staff. Clean amenities
- 3/5
Breakfast was limited but, thats OK. Close ti the alamo. Be prepared to pay a 100 dollar deposit and extra for parking.
- 2/5
The room smelled like cigarettes we asked for non smoking, chip crumbs under the blankets, no one was in the breakfast area there were no forks, spoons, no waffle batter, and we were charged for parking.
- 3/5
The room was ok. We were surprised that they charge $100 deposit that we haven’t get back yet and it has been more than a week. I called the hotel a few days ago to ask why, and I was told that they did process it, and for like 2 days it showed in my bank app that was “ pending” but then it the pending status just disappeared and all it shows is the charge. My bank said the the hotel pulled the deposit back. We’re still waiting because we don’t understand why this hotel would do that when the room was left in the same condition. We are VERY disappointed. This is the first time in my life that a hotel charges a deposit.
- 2/5
- 1/5
The room wreaked, BOTH beds were made but there were long black hairs all over them. Long black hairs on the bathroom towels. The sink dripped. The toilet flusher was completely disconnected from the toilet. The floor was disgusting. Would never recommend this facility to anyone. It was cheap but it wasn't even worth the cheapness. I couldn't have PAID me to stay there or book again.
- 1/5
Room smelt, wasn’t clean
- 1/5
I was unaware that there would be an additional fee of $100 on top of my total payment for the room. Luckily I had the money to cover the extra fee and I better get it back into my account upon check out. I definitely won’t be staying here again in the future. So disappointed about that!
- 5/5
A really good location, 2 minutes walk from the Alamo, and the river walk a bit further.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
good all around
- 4/5
Room clean ... everything good
- 3/5
parking fee was never mentioned when i booked and was a surprise and quite expensive. The amenities were not provided fully like pillows were just 2 for king size and the reception staff was not resdy to provide more.
- 2/5
Unexpected fee..not enough chairs..poor staffing
- 2/5
Difficulty finding office. Several repairs need to be made
- 5/5
Everything was super great...
- 1/5
The worst room we have ever stayed in. Dirty, stained, smelled like gasoline. It’s basically a motel 6.
- 3/5
Yes.
- 4/5
The room was nice and clean. I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a place to stay for a couple days.
- 5/5
Staff was great
- 4/5
I had a good trip with them.. nice friend
- 5/5
Nice staff clean room
- 5/5
Everything was good.
- 4/5
Staff are very helpful.
- 5/5
Our stay there was great we stayed on property 5 days and were within walking distance to major attractions and restraunts in the area including the river walk it will be my first choice next time we are in town
- 1/5
This place should be an embarrassment to Wyndham to have their name on it! Beyond dirty. Place should be condemned Aalaa
- 3/5
Price at check-in was different than booking price. Still getting resolution on that.
- 4/5
Hotel was conveniently located a short walk away from the Convention Center and the Riverwalk, and the staff were incredibly nice! Facilities were kept clean, but felt a bit dated. There was a gap under the bottom of the door, so bugs would occasionally crawl in from the outside.
- 4/5
short walking distance to everything.
- 3/5
No me gustó que cuando reserve decía desayuno parqueadero, y al momento de registrarme me cobran adicional el parqueadero y adicional el depósito que tampoco fue avisado en el momento de la reserva.
- 3/5
NA
- 3/5
the room wasnt bad, the outside looks like its from a scary movie lol. i didnt realize it was a motel when booking it. good location, walked downtown multiple times. i didnt realize u have to pay 15$ a day to park and 100$ down until i got there. i did get my 100$ refund back.
- 5/5
Great walking distance for lot of things
- 3/5
AC was old and could not maintain temps. I was sweeting all night long.
- 2/5
Bugs in room, loud people hanging out in parking area outside window, Brown stains on white sheets, nobody attending the check in desk at times, you get the idea.
- 1/5
We expected so much better from Wyndham
- 5/5
It was a perfect spot to walk to pretty much any area in downtown San Antonio! Felt safe and the staff was so kind upon check in!!
- 4/5
Around everything you need.
- 2/5
Bed was only thing that was good but matress my daughter slept on had some type of stain on the protector ..we coulsnt leave fast enough
- 3.5/5
Had to pay 17 dollars for one night parking
- 1/5
Smell was horrible
- 4/5
This property had two different "locations". The one side had easy access to breakfast and the other has easy access to the pool. Both were near the freeway and a main road, which wasn't an issue till Friday night. But that's to be expected. It was only a 15 min walk to basically everything we wanted to see in San Antonio. The Alamo, riverwalk, food options and river center. It was very reasonably priced. The pool was clean and everyone at the front desk was very nice to deal with. No self laundry available. The pool side, where we stayed, seemed older, but still adequate for our needs. Very basic room, but when your spending all day running around town, who cares. A bed, tv and bathroom are all you need.
- 4/5
The staff cleaned the room daily. It's just that I don't know when they last mopped the floor, bc when I walked around barefoot, the soles of my feet turned black! Other than that I have no complaint.
- 3/5
Got charged 116$ more upon arrival and it was not returned.. i had to go thru a long customer service process
- 4/5
Shops nearby
- 2/5
The first property is okay no tooth paste you have to buy it from the reception. Their breakfast is not a completed one no oatmeal , no fruit or eggs just bread cake and waffle with tea overall not a fantastic experience for me .
- 5/5
It was great to stay here.
- 5/5
The front desk staff was excellent. The room is clean but does smell musty.
- 5/5
Great location
- 2/5
Between the deposit and the fact that they charge you to park in the parking lot of the hotel you are already paying for is ridiculous... So on top of the $90 a night for a room that the ac barely worked, i had to pay another $135 for the deposit and parking for 2 vehicles. We stayed less than 12 hours. So roughly $240 for a mediocre room, for one night is ridiculous!! Wont go back there again!
- 5/5
The room was clean and neat, the hotel is centrally located to the riverwalk, I parked at the hotel and walked everywhere I needed to. The hotel staff was courteous and willing to help with the things I needed like an extra blanket. This hotel is older than most if the hotels in the area, so the price was much cheaper, but in my opinion, no less comfortable.
- 3/5
This seems like it has been a renovated motel. Very old building. Accommodations are so-so, but for the price and location, you definitely can get a good deal for staying here if you are willing to do with less. Breakfast is not great and doesn't have tons of options. You do pay for parking extra.
- 2/5
We had to pay for our parking $ 16 , $36 for both cars . Also they charged a additional $100 deposit that they didn’t return back.
- 4/5
Closer to Alamo
- 4/5
The service had to ask for towels after room was cleaned and breakfast was late the door was locked employees showed up late
- 4/5
Nice room. A couple of things would be better. No cabinet or counter top at sink for toothbrush, etc. No soap dish in shower, floor very slippery. Microwave didn't work. Cleanliness was very good, nice location for things we wanted to do. We were a bit surprised at $16 per day parking fee.Parking fee should be disclosed with room rates.
- 5/5
It is The CHEAPEST MOST CONVIENANT PLACE TO STAY CLOSEST TO THE TOURIST STOPS
- 3/5
The staff was great. The room was clean. Bed was super comfortable. Compared to pictures of the room, things were missing. Only three pillows. Should be four. Only one chair. Should be two. A sofa would be nice as it is described as a suite. Very cool backlit mirror. Very spacious. Parking convenient and reasonable add on. Close to Riverwalk and stadium.
- 4/5
The male front desk was rude and looked dead inside
- 4/5
Near to riverwalk
- 4/5
When I booked this, I didn’t notice that parking isn’t free; but it’s most convenient & possibly cheapest. Staff was super polite & helpful. Bed was decent. AC worked great. Floors were filthy. Both persons in each bed woke up with a tiny bite, & one small spider was tossed outside… probably congregated in the dust & such under the beds. Get what you pay for in San Antonio?
- 1/5
the room was dirty the deb was not clean dirty sheets n pillow cases front desk people rude did not care charge for parking when the web site said free parking they ask for 100.00 deposit when everythong was paid online i would not stay ther even if it was free to many homeless around the hotel
- 4/5
Wasn't a bad experience but i had to give it 4 stars because when i first got there. There was a puddle of water leaking from the ac but after a few days it went away so i can't complain too much
- 5/5
Staff was very helpful and hospitable
- 5/5
I like the staff especially the clerk who check me in. She was very friendly and eager to make my stay great.
- 3/5
Breakfast was very minimal. Coffee and Tang, no water hot or cold, very few choices. We had three rooms, one had a huge wasp, one had a huge cricket that crawled in bed with someone. There were no computers to run off boarding passes. The staff ( who were very hardworking, helpful, and friendly) offered to try to print the passes, but it didn’t work. Location was great. Cleaning staff was trying hard. It’s just an old facility that would really benefit from some upgrades. Of course, then it would probably cost twice as much.
- 1/5
Not a good experience at all. Hotel smelled and men outside of our door. Lock was broken and I planned on staying alone. I left and booked another hotel
- 2/5
Stayed here a few years back. And they didnt charge for parking and now they do. Guess they want a piece of the parking action. Also during check out i asked what my100 deposit was for. And they told me it was for in case i dirty the sheets that right there says they dont wash their sheets i just stayed for 4 days n got my deposit. Which means they are not washing or changing the bed sheets. Disgusting.....
- 1/5
Free breakfast was all carbs, NO PROTEIN! Dirty towels and bedding, roaches, clogged shower drain, bags of garbage from other rooms was set right by my door for more than half of the day. Had to walk across the street to get fresh towels and call about non room service and was told room service signed done in their log
- 5/5
Close to the attractions
- 2/5
Staff was very rude during Check in and check out,
- 1/5
One address to check- in . Other address the room. Unexpected parking fees ! Room very warm . A/C didn’t work . I didn’t like the room
- 3/5
Everything was good except the AC unit
- 4/5
It was nice room clean except found ants in bathroom
- 1/5
Towel was dirty
- 1/5
Found a roach on the bed. AC was loud. Bathroom door did not close all the way. Was not able to lock it. Bath tub seemed dirty. Will not stay here again.
- 5/5
GREAT PRICE AND GREAT STAY
- 3/5
The room was great. However, there was human feces on the sidewalk and used feminine products in the pool which had not been cleaned or treated.
- 2/5
Bad smell. Extra charge for parking.
- 4/5
Great price for location near downtown
- 2/5
The initial fee costs more than what you pay for the stay, and a 20 dollar parking fee is charged to stay in their hotel which is outrageous. The rooms aren’t cleaned enough, not enough staff to take care of all the rooms, and the facility isn’t well taken care of.
- 5/5
I am one happy customer of Days Inn. Property is in an excellent location. Staff was friendly and the rooms were very clean. Air conditioning in the hot weather was fantastic. The TV channel selection and availability was also excellent. Staff was very helpful in giving directions. I highly recommend this hotel and I will be a return customer.
- 1/5
They charged for parking $16 a day! No advanced warning ao we didn't plan that in the budget. Apparently San Antonio now charges for all downtown parking. At least most places validate but not the hotel. I expected little because i didn't pay a lot but this place was bad. The room smelled bad, it was hot when we arrived. The coffee maker was incomplete. There we're 2 of us but only 1 coffee packet? The shower didn't work properly. I told the front desk about the A/C and was told they don't turn it on while empty. You are expecting guests!! They expect the room to be comfortable when arriving. The bed was uncomfortable our bodies ached for days. We went to get coffee at the office and all the carafes were empty.
- 1/5
It was the worst experience that I’ve ever had in a hotel, terrible odor in the room, dirty and stained blankets, there was a little ice bucket in the room and it was dirty with green fongis, I was terrible at 1 am we had to leave the door open and spray perfume all over the room, by the way no body answered in the lobby so we had no choice to stay in that terrible conditions
- 1/5
I’ll start with the good- the manager was helpful (after a minute) and did seem to care and ultimately got me and my babies into a clean and safe room for the night. The bad- immediately upon getting into our room, things went south quickly. The remote didn’t work for the tv and suddenly I realized that our feet were BLACK and I have a baby who was in the crawling stage! I took a closer look at the floor- filthy. Absolutely filthy floor. I called the manager and told him what was going on and at first he had a “well it’s late, what do you wanna do?” Attitude but quickly changed his tune once he saw the floor and our legs and feet for himself. The next room had cleaner floors but the BATHROOM was god awful. Toilet and sink hadn’t been cleaned in ages. So we went to a third room. I told the manager I wanted to leave at that point and would be (rightfully) asking for a full refund but he asked for a third chance. The third room was fine! that’s not saying much, sadly. But he did say he would speak to housekeeping.
- 5/5
This was a good place like it quite clean. And the staff was really nice
- 5/5
👍
- 3/5
Not a very pleasant trip and experience
- 5/5
Exelent property
- 1/5
The guy at night check-in however, a South East Asian man, was literally on the speaker phone and playing chess with a friend while checking us in…. Like come on
- 4/5
- 5/5
Sheet were stained and there was kids tuning around all night yelling but other than that everything was great
- 5/5
Maybe you should give water for free, for example one or two bottles per day per room.
- 3/5
The parking was tight, the air conditioning didn’t work
- 2/5
THE BAD: They charge for parking. Be prepared to pay an extra $16 per night. One last thing, the heavy-set clerk refused to move from the handicapped parking spot because she didn't want to walk an extra 5 steps to the front desk. She was not physically challenged and did not carry a handicapped parking permit.
- 3/5
It was okay - but the neighborhood was a little scary in the evening
- 5/5
Always like this hotel...
- 3/5
It was ok for a motel
- 5/5
That the deposit takes a long time to get on my card
- 2/5
This is an easy place to be for walking distance to the Alamo. That is really the only good thing. When we got to the hotel to check in we had to pay for parking as well as the room rental. When I booked I didn’t see where we had to pay for parking as well or we would have booked somewhere else. The room was nice and clean. Just didn’t like the extra fee. If you want to charge for park add that fee to your price so your customers won’t be upset and will leave a better review.
- 2/5
The room where I stayed was too small. The bathroom was super small. It's smeld bad The pool area was on the other side of the street breakfast was free but it was not that good. It was all sweets. When you have granddaughters that are 9, 8 5-Year-Old telling you that it's a two-star to a one-star it's bad
- 3/5
A lot of homeless people
- 5/5
Staff was amazing
- 3/5
Found dirty bath towels behind bathroom door upon arrival. No clean towels or cleaning services the second day. Had to go to front desk and get clean towels and washcloths. Third only gave us one washcloth, another trip to front desk.
- 1/5
I had a very negative experience with this property. We reserved three rooms, and one of them had a hole in the window that looked like it could be from a bullet, along with dead ants. One of rooms was clearly not cleaned after the previous guests, and all the floors across the rooms were dirty. In the second room, one of the bed linens had not been changed. I had to go to the office to get sheets and change them myself. This level of cleanliness and maintenance is completely unacceptable.
- 5/5
Good budget lodging a short walk from main attractions.
- 3/5
…
- 5/5
It's close to the riverwalk. I can walk wherever i want to go and don't have to drive.
- 3/5
Terrible dirty floors - your foot turns black after three steps. Bathroom ceiling is falling apart.
- 3/5
It was a close walk to the Alamo and the Rivercenter.
- 3/5
When we checked in there were people hungover the upstairs ledge and there seemed to be less then good people hanging around actually saw a drug deal because of all this did not sleep worrying for my car and my family
- 5/5
It was great stayed
- 1/5
Breakfast was horrible..remote didnt work for tv
- 1/5
room was dirty and different amount was charged for parking from different visitors
- 5/5
everything clean for our short stay, receptionist super nice!
- 5/5
Beds are comfortable and spacious
- 3/5
The price for the room and the location to my event were ideal. Room cleanliness was biggest negative factor: ants in the bathroom and had to smell ant spray entire stay, dingy linens, dirty floor (although new LVP was installed) In addition insufficient storage no dressers and only 3 hangers for two people. Picture of room looks good, but actually being in the room was a different experience.
- 5/5
NA
- 3/5
The floor in the room was not clean... my feet were black after just one walk thru the room. There was an odor in the room.
- 3/5
Close to the alamo
- 3/5
Older property convenient to convention center. Tiny bathroom. Marginal, simple breakfast. Pleasant staff.
- 4/5
Great location, very convenient and close to everything. However, the parking fee was a bit expensive.
- 4/5
It was ok for a quick stay not the best but it was good for the price
- 5/5
Location was perfect. It was walking distance from Alamo, River walk and downtown.
- 5/5
Close to riverwalk. Easy walk. Good staff
- 5/5
Good location
- 1/5
Filthy, old, don’t waste your money here.
- 1/5
There was a foul smell that came out of the restroom. I asked to have my room changed because it was horrendous but all they did was bring me a spray. Will never stay there again.
- 5/5
Location is great
- 5/5
It was good!
- 2/5
Terrible stay . Super dirty room / sheets. Sticky floors. $16 per night parking
- 5/5
Excellent stay. Like the shower. I have bad knees and I am glad I didn’t have to take a shower in a tub.
- 1/5
We were checked into a room that wasn’t cleaned nor had bedding on the beds. Moved rooms again and blood not ours) on comforter and towels when we asked for new of each comforter was thrown at me and I was told to re make bed. The towels were never brought to us as apparently only cleaning staff have access again though they never appeared had to drive to Walmart and buy towels. The rooms all stink. The walls were disgusting and had marks all over especially the bathroom which again looked like blood no offer to move rooms and certainly no apology for any of this. Homeless surround hotel and use the ice machine right outside the rooms although we had no issues with them or this at all it can make for a noisy night and may intimate single females. The pool was dirty and tiny with two plastic garden chairs and the tumble dryer pulled out at the side of pool being used all day. Not to mention not relaxing but also electric items meters from pool. Spoke with Expedia who literally said we will speak to hotel then told me there was no compensation and no help because hotel was non refundable again still not one apology. I’d avoid this hotel there are plenty in the same vicinity for just a bit more. Also don’t count on speaking to hotel or Expedia if you have any issues nothing gets done.
- 1/5
Bad service. I booked a totally different hotel and for some weird reason Expedia change it on us for this Days inn without a consent. Tried getting a refund and hotel manager refused to.
- 1/5
Rooms had ZERO amenities, beds were like laying on plywood and the fact that I had to cross TWO streets to get to the building that was supposed to house the continental breakfast (which was a complete joke, NO FOOD or coffee when I got there at 8am) was not convenient.
- 1/5
Well we didnt stay, room was way to expensive for what it was. Bed was horrible, was not comfortable at all. And the nice unexpected charge for parking we were not told about till ck in. Rip off.
- 0.5/5
Rooms weren’t as clean as in the sense of we found the towels and wash clothes really overly used and not clean along with the funny smell in the room
- 1/5
My door did not have a bar lock. It only had the bar, but no swivel to secure the door. My door key also unkeyed every day so I had to walk across the street to the office each day to have it rekeyed. Did not feel safe. Staff was always nice though.
- 2.5/5
The smell of the room, the peeling paint, lack of upkeep of the hotel. Parking is an additional 15.00 my security lock was broken off.
- 3/5
The smell (smells like gasoline) in the room. The noises from the ceiling (a child, or children running and jumping above) was unbearable throughout the stay.
- 3.5/5
The room has a smell of humidity, but doesn't bothers a lot.
- 1.5/5
Amenities, noisy toilet!!!! Noisy vent in bathroom,

Nearly all the linens had long black hair on them (towels, sheets, washcloths). The floor was quite dirty and when I stepped into the shower having walked barefoot on the floor, copious amounts of dirt filled the water as it drained into the drain.

It was too much money for the type of hotel. Was charged Extra for parking and with a high deposit. And did NOT know about it till we check in! You could hear All the loud noise from the street and side walk. I will remember so we will NOT go there again!

The location was the best! They didn’t have breakfast even tho the website says it included breakfast. The pool wasn’t open, the room was totally different than I expected. Paying for parking is stupid!!
