Over all it was not bad. We only dealt with the night management guy with red beard and he very nice and personable. The 3rd floor and room had strange smell that was almost ammonia smell. The rooms wallpaper was peeling in several spots and the carpet did have a iron burn spot. The bed and everything else seem fine. If you need to stay in this area it was not bad and we felt safe.

Enjoyed our stay. The staff was great. The breakfast was perfect. Older hotel but still had lots of charm. Would definitely recommend.

Room was clean, but the AC had trouble keep the room cool. When we checked out, my son had forgot his belt buckle and class ring. They were both in the same spot. When I called the front office to explain my situation, they didn't even bother to ask for my phone number. I had to tell them... do you want my phone number, name, and room number. We decided to go back to the room, and my son saw the maid with his belt buckle going back to the room, but not the class ring. She tried to help us look for it, but that was pointless. I'm assuming it was taken. I am still waiting for a response to see if they found it. Very disappointed

Staff was amazing! Kind and helpful at every turn. The room was spacious and very clean, it was so easy for us to get comfortable and feel at ease. The area it’s in is a bit sketchy. Also, there is a club behind the room that we were staying in and although it looked fun the music was loud.

The property was 5 minutes away from my destination. Our bed and TV stands was scratched up and the couch needed to be replaced. Lamps needed to be modern or replace with better lighting. The review were misleading. It was a 2.5 or 3 rating certainly not 4. It was ok. I expected better.

First when I checked in I was charged for self parking which was not mentioned anywhere beforehand. Since it was late we just wanted to sleep after a long drive. But the air conditioner sounded like a loud lawnmower when the compressor would kick on, no way we could sleep with all that noise. Front desk personnel came to the room and witnessed the noise, maintenance was notified. Isaiah the Maintenance worker was great he replaced the whole air conditioner in around 25 minutes. Even with the loud music from the bar next door we was finally able to go to sleep. The rest of the stay was fair,the only other complaint, there were only one working elevator which made for long waits time's. I would not choose this hotel for ant future trips to San Antonio.

The restroom was not clean in our hotel, there was men’s hair all over the sink and tissues. The place next door had loud music and lights outside going from the time we got there until 2am so we did not get any sleep and we were there for a doctor appointment the next day.

The Hotel was not as before. The room we stayed in was not clean. It seemed that the person that should have cleaned just left some towels there for the next visitor and did not clean the room. Not very pleasant hotel. Will not go there again.

Was there with my wife for the weekend of 4.10.26 - 4.11-26. Went to see The Alamo, and explore more areas. The room we stayed in was perfect, no issues whatsoever. In the future, we would love to book a night or nights at this hotel and location.

Hotel is outdated. It is NOT on the riverwalk as advertised. It is located in a dilapidated section of town. Lots of homeless people meandering around the area. The decor in the guest rooms is old and worn. The lighting is very dim. Bathroom has cracked walls. Just got an ick feeling from the whole experience.

Parking was easy and we were only minutes away from wherever we wanted to go. As a bonus, a miniature golf course near the pool. We ate our delicious breakfast on the patio. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating.

The facilities are very outdated, the breakfast was acceptable, and although the location is close to the River Walk, there are many homeless individuals in the area, and the parking is located underneath a bridge.

The room smelled bad , the restroom was dirty it had a wrist and bracelet on the shower curtain and the bathroom mirror was dirty. The breakfast was missing something it was only plain eggs and sausage links. No biscuits or gravy ?

The bathroom was full of hair from the previous guest. We weren’t able to sleep there was a couple a few rooms from us that was really loud and kept screaming slamming the door all night.

CON’S: Dimly lit. Some floors ice machines not working. Clothes washers/dryers all out of order. Two elevators on sight. One elevator was permanently down and the other broke down on two occasions. Wallpaper peeling off the walls and reattached with staples. Sun shade in window is riddled with cuts and holes. Windows are so dirty on the outside, you can hardly see. Locking safe wasn’t operational. Place is basically falling apart. We won’t be back.

I asked for a receipt at check out and they said since I booked through Expedia that they would have my receipt. Come to find out the hotel charged my card for the room and said Expedia didn't pay them. Expedia called the hotel and couldn't make them understand the issue. Expedia made it right and helped me out but the hotel got their way. Horrible experience and will never stay there again.

Ive stayed at this hotel a number of times with family or children and alone with my husband. The staff is kind, the front desk clerk not always but tonight I had a kind gentleman who was soft spoken and well mannered strike a conversation with us. I really enjoy this hotel.

The girl who checked us in was great. But the whole 3rd floor smelled like urine. We found insoles near under the bed, wallpaper peeling, hair on bathroom floor, and there were ants that ate through the plastic of sealed cookies. The breakfast was decent but otherwise will not be checking in here again.

Hotel room did not match pictures, “covered” parking that is being charged $16.25 per night is under an overpass and has a homeless community under it, and cameras don’t work. The vehicles tail lights were stolen that parked near our truck.

The carpet was not vacuumed. The AC would not go below 72 but it was not 72 in the room. It was around 76 and no fan circulation. The ice machines were out of ice. Those things, I can deal with. The thing that was the most concerning - parking. You have to park under the bridge with minimal lighting. Not safe. I would not recommend for a woman alone or especially a mother with children. To top it all off, you have to pay for the unsafe parking. The only positive thing was Jack. He was helpful, apologetic, and tried to do his best to improve my situation. Thank you, Jack.

No one was able to fix it nor did they have a quality plunger for us to use. Every white surface was clean. But the every non-white surface was covered in grit and chunks. I had to clean it myself before we settled in. The parking lot smelled like urine and trash. The location is great for exploring San Antonio. Then we went to the pool and the Hot Tub didn't work, no jets. It was hot.the little water fall in the pool and hot tub didnt work, false advertising. The shower leaked and never turned off. The last night we were there a couple was inappropriate in the pool and nothing was done. The second day they didn’t come clean the room at all and didn’t leave any fresh towels.

Toilet never stopped running, light switches were hanging off, AC barely worked and the rooms are very noisy. The property put us across from another guest that had a noisy, noisy dog. Very disruptive. They also charge extra fees that are not noted when booking. So even though we spent $160 on the room, we had to pay another $116 for a security fee and parking. Honestly, if i knew we had to pay for parking, i would not have booked with this facility. Breakfast was not impressive, very limited seating. The pizza place they let advertise there is absolutely atrocious. Do not order from there. The best part was the staff. They were friendly.

The pizza place they let advertise there is absolutely atrocious. Do not order from there. The best part was the staff. They were friendly.

Front desk staff were all excellent. Housekeeping was lackluster. One lady got annoyed because Me opening the door scared her. Room was very dusty and the pillows were musty.

Check in time room wasn’t ready had to wait another hour. Rooms keys kept messing up had to go down repeatedly to get it fixed. Asked for a room with a pull out mattress didn’t get one, rooms weren’t properly cleaned, mattress were dirty and stained and wall paper falling off just not the place you wanna spend your money at for you and your family to enjoy. Will not be returning.

The room, I can tell the bare minimum was done to clean it. There was trash behind lamp table and under couch cushions.

Watch out for hidden costs and penalties! The scrambled eggs served for breakfast are watery at the bottom making it soggy. One elevator has been out order for quite a while, so there’s only one functioning elevator.

The front desk staff were all very accommodating and professional. However I had a four night stay with them there was no hot water in the room the TV didn’t work the bathroom tile was broken not enough towels one of my room keys never worked and the room itself was not deeply cleaned. Breakfast was great and so was the staff over all this is a two star hotel and I will never stay again.

Really enjoyed our stay the staff was friendly as we walked in, host had just made a batch of cookies for the incoming guests so my kids enjoyed them.

My only issue is everytime I stay here I wait a while at the front desk. No one is ever there when I check in. Other than that I really enjoy this hotel for my family.

The room was spacious and had all the amenities, but it was far from soundproof. Being near a highway there is near constant traffic noise. We were awakened at time by loud music and babies crying. The sink faucet wasn’t affixed but other than that it was maintained ok.

It's was good beside the outside windows being dirty to look out to see the view. Other then that was good.

My water was not hot at all had to shower in cold freezing water. Hotel didn’t answer me and charged me twice for hotel parking. No one was at the front desk.

The property was good it was the things around the property. There were a lot of what looked to be homeless people around. This made my wife a little uncomfortable. Other than that we really enjoyed being at the property itself. Very nice staff friendly and very helpful.

Check in was at 3:00 pm. We arrived at 3:35pm. Our room was not ready for check in till 4:10. Room was very dirty. Restroom had hairs all over the floor. Was not cleaned properly. Their was vomit in one corner of the room. Their was black mold right above the bed. Wallpaper was peeling off the walls. Bed skirts had stains on it. Bar or club very close by. Heard loud bass thumping till 2am. And the tv didnt have the proper remote to use. We brought the issue up to management, they gave us 3 different remote's to try lol None of them worked correctly. Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. First and last time my family will ever book a room there. Good luck on your stay

Hotel was decent. Neighborhood seemed a bit sketchy but it was the closest hotel to the concert venue we were going to. Bed was ok. Room was clean. The first issue was when we got back from the concert I decided I needed a shower. It was then I realized our bathtub had no shower curtain. I was very tired and it was very late. I didn’t want to wait for someone to bring us a curtain so I just threw some towels on the floor and aimed the water away from the opening as much as I could and showered as quickly as I could trying not to splash water onto the floor. The next morning we went down for breakfast. We got to the food just after they opened. My guilty pleasure at hotels is making a waffle (something I never eat at home). Much to my dismay when I went to the batter machine it was not set up. I could not find anyone to ask about it, so I settled just for eggs and sausage. Of course just as we got up to leave (30 minutes after the breakfast opened) someone came out and set up the batter machine for the waffles. Oh well. I’m not sure why that couldn’t have been done before the breakfast opened.

Room is great, the only complaint was the bar next to us. I could hear the rhythm bumping of the speakers while trying to sleep. Wasn't horrible, took me longer than normal to fall asleep.

The pictures online were great, but when we got there, our rooms had mold in them. The wallpaper was stapled back to the wall in the room in the bathroom. They didn’t even bother, it mold the wallpaper coming up, mold underneath, mold on the paper and on the wall Need some good old-fashioned cleaning

I was upset we had to pay 16dollars for parking each day. This was told to us at check in time.

Parking. I don’t think I should have to pay for parking especially when your sign outside says that you are not responsible for stolen or damages in the parking lot.

Stay away of this place they’ll charge you for parking in an empty lot with no security. There’s a loud club right next to the location that plays music Wednesday to Sunday and doesn’t stop until 2 am. When I asked to change rooms they said they were booked and suggested I buy ear plugs.

Firstly I thought the hotel looked a little tired. The wallpaper in the hallway and room was starting to lift and skirting was very dusty. The draw fronts on one of the units looked like it was falling off.

This property is in need of major renovations. It’s very old. The staff was wonderful though. Every person we met that worked there was so nice and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay! The location was super convenient and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again when we visit SA.

Peeling wallpaper, stained carpet. Night club next door with booming bass till 2am every night, Right next to the freeway. Great view of a giant blank billboard out the window. Staff was nice, free breakfast was good, beds were comfortable. Kind of sketchy area a lot homeless and riff raff around

The hotel was dirty and old. It needs major updates. The carpet was all wet and soggy. The drains in the shower didn't drain properly. You can tell they do quick cleans because the room was dirty like dusty and grimy.

My biggest reason for the poor rating was the pet policy. They charge $75 per pet which ended up costing just a few dollars less than the room cost for two adults. Orbitz page said it was $75 which is normally good for up to two pets. Needless to say, the dogs slept in our car that evening.

Hotel is not close to Alamo or Riverwalk (could walk approximately 1/2 mile. Area around hotel had homeless people hanging around and sleeping under the overpass which was the parking area for hotel.

The elevators were broken and kept getting stuck, no remotes or working phone line, limited towls and just didnt seem up to date.

To make a long bad experience in a few sentences….we had to switch rooms, there a night club next door so loud music doesn’t stop playing till 2:30am, Big John’s pizza is awful and a rip off. Don’t Buy! Overall the gentleman was very kind and went out of his way to make us as comfortable as possible.
