Clean rooms, cold Ac, friendly staff, good parking out front, family friendly place. The rooms are a little small but worth the money. We would stay again.

Because it was in the perfect location for what we needed to do, we were able to get to the riverwalk within minutes and have a great dinner. Its also is right down the street form the Alamodome for my nieces graduation ceremony. The beds were very comfortable for me and I have a bad back, so that says a lot. Water pressure was amazing and it gets hot... LOL. Guy at the front counter was very nice. its a small hotel, so there was no breakfast area, but because of its great location, it worked out perfect, we had plenty of breakfast places to choose from

The parking was an issue

I’m a clean person and I’ve stayed in some higher bigger places and even those places weren’t as clean as this one. The place was clean.

My big problem was no chair to sit on inside and outside. Laying in bed for 2 days gets old quick with a bad back. Food delivery was good, bus stop nearby and close to the Amtrak Station.

This was a wonderful hotel. If I had to pick one thing to complain about it would be the water pressure in the shower. Though I was able to take a shower, I could see some guest complaining about the strength of the shower heads.

We went to San Antonio expecting to stay for the day. It was $50 to park downtown for 12 hours. We liked the area so much that we decided to stay overnight. This is a small hotel but very reasonably priced and the staff are terrific. Very close to Amtrak station if you’re taking the train. Will stay there from now on when taking the train.

It's very close to the alamodome and parking is free. It's a good value for the money. It's the basics, a clean room, a bed, a bathroom, and a TV. No pool or any extra amenities.

We went to an event at the Alamodome and the hotel was close enough so we could walk, which was really nice. We parked our car at the hotel and didn’t worry about extra parking at the Alamodome. It was clean and the staff were super nice and helpful. Just a few weird things like…there was a cabinet where a fridge would usually go, but the knob was taken off and you couldn’t get in there. And the shampoo was in a package. That was fine - we were only there one night and didn’t need to wash our hair. But his little things like that, which made me not give 5 stars. Liked our stay overall and we felt safe and staff were great.

We needed a place to stay that was right by the train station. It was perfect, literally 5 minutes away. The noise level was a little loud. I don’t know if it’s because we were closer to the industrial area or by the train station. There was also a very strong smell when you checked in and in the elevator. Once you exited the elevator it was fine. The smell did not penetrate into the room.

Very friendly staff! They made sure that we were well taken care of and that we had the parking we were promised (which is difficult to come by this close to the Alamodome). The room and restroom is always clean. We return every year and will be back next November.

I choose this property because of it's close proximity to the Alamodome, which is only a five minute walk. It's an older building, but it is very clean and tidy. The owners are also very kind and friendly. I would stay here again when I come to town for an event!

The towels were something a child could dry off with, several of the floor tiles were cracked in the bathroom and the corner wall strip (metal) in the bathroom was coming from the wall. The coffee in the room was only decaf, when I asked for regular the clerk stated that he was new and that was all they had. I probably would not stay there again.

The hotel is in a decent area but the outside stair access doors didn’t work when using your room key & we had to use the elevator in the main lobby. This was inconvenient and the elevator was not in the best shape…

I accidentally signed up for a handicap room on the first floor, which I was not comfortable with. The staff immediately put me in a room that was more to my liking with minimal paperwork…. They made it very convenient for me.

This was the perfect spot for us to stay when we were in San Antonio for a concert at the Alamodome. It was so convenient to walk from this hotel to the concert--didn't have to pay for parking or an Uber. It was a little noisy (train track nearby and some street traffic) but the rooms are good size and clean. Very helpful/friendly staff!

Fantastic stay. Verrrry close to Alamodome (across the road and down a bit, walking distance), has free parking, 2 min drive to Alamo. Arrived into a refreshingly cool room (so thoughful after a hot day out and about). Comfy cozy sleep in a HUGE King bed complete with loads of pillows and 2 long cylinder shaped cushions, great for leaning against to watch tv. Had microwave and fridge (no icebox) but ice AND vending machines a couple of metres away by lift on level 2 where we stayed. Luggage trolley at reception useful for lots of luggage. Wifi automatic, no need to enter password. Would absolutely stay again. Many thanks from delighted New Zealanders 😊

Whenever we have a concert at the Alamodome this is the place to stay. Walking distance. Also the owners are very nice. The hotel is clean and comfortable. It has been my go to place for about 10 years and it has not declined a bit.

Negatives : Parking at the actual hotel lot are VERY limited. Not sure if every room is like this but my shower had nowhere to shelf any shampoo/soap for easy access during bathing, either leaving me to place soap and shampoo directly on the shower floor (big ick for me even if a hotel appears very clean) or leaving said items right outside shower either on a closed toilet lid or the bathroom floor.

If you are looking for a quiet no-frills place to stay the night, Cityview Inn & Suites Downtown RiverCenter Area is an excellent choice. The staff are friendly and the hotel is a quaint 3 story building. The lobby is locked at night and can be opened with a key card which provides added security. There was free parking and it was convenient to get to my conference each day.

Property and more importantly the room was clean. Staff person helpful when asked questions. Location was in a area being cleared for renewal so that is good.

The staff were very friendly, and helpful. I was very happy that there was free parking, and a luggage cart! I felt very safe there.

The rooms are clean and spacious, the a/c works well, the people who run the inn are friendly, it’s walkable to restaurants. Parking can be a bit tight, but it’s not a big deal.

Nice greeting at late arrival. Problem with key, but curry smell was only in lobby and room was clean and in good condition.

The manager was a super nice person. She gave me lots of advice about the area and suggestions where to go. She let me do a 1 hour extension of the check out. The location of this hotel is great and is right next to some nice downtown bars and restaurants and close to the main area of the Riverwalk. I walked about 12 minutes to get to the stairs taking you down to the actual river walk. I highly recommend you to stay at this hotel.

Just in a sketchy part of town, other than that wonderful hotel

The only “problem” I had was the cars driving by and the train was a little noisy, other than that everything was great. The people at the front were very sweet!!! I’d stay here again if I come back to San Antonio!

The room was good and clean 👍 but had to get 2 room because had 2 car at the hotel wouldn’t recommend for more than 1 car
