It was off the street. My cot, or the one under, reeked of urine. The shower is partially blocked up. The bathroom is serviceable but not what I'd call clean. The cot is the worst tho..... I don't know if I was smelling the person under me or the cot itself.

During our stay, Whole Family Hostel was a safe and friendly place at the most competitive price. They did not allow any BS and got rid of any troublemakers. Dylon, the (host/house manager), was welcoming, always around, pleasant, and a lively conversationalist. Our length of stay allowed us short and lengthy walks around the neighborhood. It was nice to see some quaint and unique, well-renovated homes, regentrification in progress, working to boost this humble neighborhood. Grocers, healthcare, community center, and park are all within 5-30 minutes. walking distance and 2-8 min. drive time. Slow-draining tub, permanently shut window blinds. Besides myself, this was an all-male hostel at the time, and toilet cleanliness needed daily upkeep for co-ed occupancy. Kitchen stove and fridge needs 1/wk. upkeep.

Because they did not explain to me that it’s just share living place with people that can be on drugs or recovering from drugs. It doesn’t say that it’s not a kid friendly place and that you’re booking a room and a place where you’ll be separated and even though your family, you might be in a house or B house like it’s just too much confusion. And it’s not a comfortable feeling to know that your kids and you are in the house which strangers.

I show up and on the post it said i will be emailed the codes to the door. I never got that until i called them. The number did not work. The person living next door let me in. Was not met there by the host even the post said they would meet me there. Immediately the place was dirty. Holes in the wall. Wires coming out of the wall. Dust everywhere. Yard unkempt. Smells. Stains in the bathroom. Place was a wreck and did not like the stay.
