We enjoyed out stay at the Courtyard Marriott. The location was easy to Uber to restaurants and the concert venue. Staff was friendly. Parking was free. We enjoyed the morning out by the pool. Rooms were lovely. Water pressure terrific.

The front desk staff were amazing! We were there for a local medical visit and they provided us with information about shuttle services and local restaurants. Extremely helpful and kind.

Very clean and convenient being next to UC Davis for early morning appt. Having bottled water in the room and charging over ,$5 for it was deceiving. The sign was very small stating you are charged for drinking it. Nice tricky way for company to make more money.

Overall, the hotel itself was as expected, but the service experience fell short. Upon arriving to check in, there was no one at the front desk and I waited approximately 5–10 minutes for a staff member to arrive. When assistance was provided, there was no greeting or welcoming interaction, and the overall experience lacked the level of customer service I would expect. The staff gave the impression that they were disengaged and did not want to be there, which negatively impacted the stay.”

Very clean and spacious rooms! It was a lovely stay. The staff was very responsive and helpful. My only ‘complaint’ was the $25/day parking fee for not covered or secure parking.

The room was nice and clean A/C worked well. But we didn’t have very many towels in our room. When we went to the pool there were no towels there. When my husband went to ask for some, they said they would bring some out. We waited another 20 minutes and still had no towels.

Arrived extremely late to check in, but the staff was really nice! Sort of wish parking was included in the hotel fees though.

Everything was fine except the bistro. The hamburger my husband ordered was over salted over cooked and took 30 minutes. My sandwich sat ready the home time we waited. We we’re told 15 minutes and it was more like 30.

Great properties for the most part. My only complaint was trying to eat at the walk up/takeout restaurant. Only one person working and it seemed to wait a long time for food.

It was an enjoyable stay.

We got to our room late. When we woke up, we discovered the tub had dried urine in it. We had to leave early without showering. We have not had any success in getting a refund or credit.

On the positive side it was very convenient to the hospital which was huge

Our son lives 6 minutes away, so the location was great. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and competent. I must have left my phone charger in the room as we left because I didn't have it when I returned home. I spoke with a nice staff person that evening and she said she'd notify Housekeeping and that I'd get a call back the next morning. I had told her that my son could come a pick up the charger. No one called the next day. I called the day after and left a message with Housekeeping. Again, no call back. I was very surprised about that lack of service. Even if the charger was not found, I should have had a call back. We will NOT go back to this Marriot. Upon returning late after an event with our son, there was no hotel parking available. The back lot is shared with the Medical Center and signs indicated No Hotel Parking. We took our chances and didn't have a ticket the next morning.

Although I was told I didn’t have to pay for parking because I wasn’t told at the time of checking in I I was later charged $19 so they’re dishonest.

Even though the kitchen was on limited options, the food was good and fresh and staff were great. Access to the internet was made difficult by a pop up window that asked if you were a member or gave you the option to join. Front desk staff did respond quickly to my concern and offered solutions.

Cafe staff was great. Maids were very friendly. The person who checked us in did not say hello or greet us in anyway. She seemed annoyed to be at work. The doors of the hotel are so LOUD. Everytime someone closed a door up and down the hallway, it sounded like they slammed the door in a rage. It was that loud! You really need to do something about this. I've never stayed anywhere where the doors closing were so disruptive of my stay.

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean. I enjoyed staying there. Nothing.

Close to UC Davis and the food in the Bistro was good. The noise! It’s so loud here. Paper thin walls and super noisy people. Now parking is $24 per day which seems steep given the fact that’s it’s just near a hospital buy nothing else.

A few minutes walk from UC Davis Medical Center and parking is good for 24 hours. Easy to drive to. The room was pretty quiet. Most of the staff were helpful and kind. I was charged $5 for a bottle of water I didn't drink and a $25 deposit I wasn't told about (when I asked, she said I would get it back in a few days). Only one chair in the room - the rooms are not like the pictures.

Easy check in, friendly and helpful staff and clean room. Quiet stay for a weekend night and easy check out early in the morning. I would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends Nothing! All staff and amenities at the hotel were to our liking, they exceeded all expectations we had and will stay there again in the future.

FOR THE LAST TIME THIS HOTEL IS CLOSED THE DOORS ARE LOCKED NO ONE WORKS THERE THE PLACE IS EMPTY THEREFORE I DO NOT EXPECT TO BE CHARGED FOR THIS AND I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT YOUR COMPANY DOESN'T KNOW THIS AND BECAUSE OF THIS IT CAUSED A HUGH PROBLEM FOR ME.

The SWEETEST woman checked me in — I’m kicking myself for not recalling her name, but it was the most pleasant experience upon arrival and continued going smoothly from there. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. I had a wonderful stay.

Amazing comfortable service. The hotel is remodel mode, but you would never know it. They did lack extra towel the day of arrival and pillows, but the lady at the front deck went beyond her call of duty to meet our needs.

Meh hotel. Room was ok, but shower never got hot (as in intolerably cold the entire time), bathroom door only opened part way then jammed into the floor and wouldn't go further, and the TV wouldn't turn on. It was too expensive for such annoying mediocrity.

Probably one of the worst hotels we have stayed in - we were staying after a hospital procedure and the heat/air unit was soo loud it sounded like a plan taking off - which kept coming on all throughout the night. It was awful - then the room above us was loud as well. For 300$ it should have been alot nicer and quieter especially since it is right at the medical center. The food was good and staff was very nice but the stay was awful

booked a room here as it was a block from UC Davis Medical Center. I had an eye procedure and could not see. At check in they told me they overbooked and bumped me. I told front desk I could not see to drive and they did not do anything to accommodate me other than move me to a hotel 3 miles away that was not comperable to this hotel. VERY DISSAPOINTED

Attention is needed in the area of cleanliness. This property is dirty, the elevator was dirty, I was highly disappointed on the lack of attention to details with the cleanliness. I have stayed 20-30 mins away at a competitor and their property was clean and quiet. The construction on the 4th floor is very distributive, my room was on the 3rd floor and the noise from the construction on 4th floor was horrible.

I would not stay here again. We were staying one night on a road trip and although it was off the beaten path and not noisy, it felt outdated, a bit run down and the bathroom in our room had mold in it. We didn’t even want to shower in the room.

I have stayed at this hotel quite a bit and will continue to do so whenever I have medical appointments at UC Davis that requires I stay overnight. Honestly one of the best stays I've had anywhere. Staff was always helpful and kind. Comfortable bed, great rooms and great price.

the room had smell in it.. smell like cigarettes. i turned off air and the smell went away. The workout room was not cleaned and the equipment needed some repairs..

Very nice. Oddly, some loud thrumming noises started around 7:30 a.m. and recurred intermmitantly. There also were some noisy people near me, not the hotel's fault.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Snack bar is terrible and expensive. Got a breakfast to go and opened the box to find everything jumbled in the box. Eggs, sausage, potatoes, toast. No wrap or plate. Just a pile of parts for a meal. Strange.

We love how close it is to the hospital. We did request a handicap accessible room this time for my son, and it was ages away from the elevator, and even farther from the ice machine, but that was really the only downfall.

First night was ok. Saturday evening I returned from all day in the pool with my grandkids, exhausted to an uncleaned room( I did not have a do not disturb sign outward) no coffee, and when i tried the tv to help relax for sleep the remote turned the tv on but would do no more. The batteries or something wrong with remote or tv only could unplug it finally. Ugh! The next morning after no coffee to help wake up was told by from desk some rooms don't get cleaned. What? She said I should have called the desk. I did not want to wait as that takes for housekeeping or maintenance. After everything like that I get a desk clerk with no compassion.

Being in a room RIGHT NEXT to the elevator ended up being quite noisy. I’ll have to remember to pack my white noise machine next time.

I asked for our room to be turned out. This was never done. When we returned at night I asked the attendant for clean towels and she refused to give us any. She said someone will do it in the morning. This never happened. I had to convince a lady cleaning other rooms to give me some towels. I have state at your properties all over this state and have never had such a terrible experience. Additionally the morning manager said he would comp parking for the inconvenience but I still see that charge in my pending transactions Very disappointed. I will never stay at a Marriot again or recommend it to anyone.

The staff was nice. A lot of cockroaches outside. Went outside to smoke and seen 6 or 7 of them around probably. Furniture was very worn down. Very loud. I had to call the front desk several times. The layout of the room was horrible you could barely watch the tv while in bed. I took a shower then my mom did and smoke alarm went off. Not a great stay or experience. I will also be putting my review on yelp as well.

Arriving at check in, was told there were no rooms available and was sent to a different Marriott across town. This was incredibly inconvenient as my meeting was close to the Midtown location, not the hotel I was sent to. I did not receive any compensation, only the taxi there was paid for. I will have to pay for a taxi to get to my meeting, which I would not have to do if Marriott had honored my reservation.

Good for people with dogs. Hassle-free. Pool was fine, but hot tub was out of commission. Friend got a better price for same room, same stay by not using Expedia.

I stayed here 7-14 days every month from Jan-Apr2024 and the staff was fantastic.

Bed was comfortable enough. Room was clean enough. Nothing special. The hallway carpets are dirty. Parking is hard and the spots are tight. They charge 20$ a day to park in the parking lot of the hotel you paid to stay at. Location is decent. Quiet area. Hotel itself is loud. Doors were heard slamming all morning.

Would definitely stay here again. I’m always hesitant to book a room in Sacramento, because you never know what you’ll get. Book this one. :)

Very nice property. The room was spacious and very comfortable.

I’ve stayed here many times about 4 years ago but this time was way different. house keeping tried to walk into the room while i was in the shower. 3 hours before check out and then came back an hour later and knocked on the door. super frustrating. As for cleanliness- there was a chair in the room that clearly was in need of a deep clean! Grossly dirty. also went to use a glass and there were finger prints on one of them. We were told the pool was heated, went to go check and it was ice cold. As for check out, there was someone new so she had help and neither one of them asked how our stay was…. Very bad vibe from start to finish. This hotel is convenient due to it being across the street from the hospital where my child’s doctor appointments are but i just might find somewhere else to stay for future Appointments….

The location is perfect if being seen at Shriners. Staff is very friendly, the food at the café is yummy, and the pool is heated. Very happy mama and son!

The rooms were nice and comfortable but housekeeping left open bars of soap and previous guest bath products in the bathroom.

All three of them were non-working. So surprised that a hotel with the reputation that Marriot has would be so poor in the most basic of accomodations.

The staff at the BISTRO in the lobby were outstanding and this group really knows how to cook. Quality of food was fresh and well presented. Their hours were very convenient for guests. Nice group of workers !
