The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location worked well during Carnival. My room overlooked the park across the street, so I could easily see the blocos and festival activity happening each day. The Glória metro station is also very close, which made it easy to move around the city. The hotel itself feels quite dated and the bed was extremely firm, which made it uncomfortable for me. Because many breakfast items included pork, my options were limited. The safe in the room was also very small and could not fit my laptop.

The location is good close to San Teresa and the Centro. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was nice and the breakfast is good. The cleaning staff was a bit noisy. The room did not have any view.

The staff was very nice and helpful. They kept my bag before check-in, no charges.Bed linnens clean.Good breakfast. The hotel is old, needs maintnance. Lots of noise, on construction, banging early in the morning. Not going back there.

The staff especially at Front Desk and Concierge. Everything else was fine. Nice view of the park and sunshine on the morning. Inconsistent housekeeping but I didn't really need it. Not enough sports tv channels.

I loved that the room was really large. I wanted a room for two people with single beds, and the receptionist went out of his way to give us a triple room in lack of a double, which was very kind. The bed was comfortable, and the room had a small fridge, which was very practical to keep water. Location was amazing as we were working at the Marina and could walk there every morning. Our room was noisy as it was next to the elevator, which meant we woke up really early with staff going around. The shower didn't have much pressure.
