Great location, right opposite the vibrant and well lit Copacabana beach where you can walk freely until midnight. Excellent breakfast with new items every day and also healthy options. Comfortable beds and very good bathrooms & shower force.
-
Our room didn’t have a window which was really a bummer. Everything else was wonderful, but it made you not want to stay in the room too much.
-
The amazing views and closeness to restaurants, shopping and transportation Small rooms, check in long lines

Nothing Everything

The restaurant food wasn't too tasty but the restaurant next door was good for breakfast and sandwiches. Elevator access was limited as some were out of service. Our family was placed in separate buildings which required going through the lobby to visit each other. The other building, C area, was older and rooms not nearly as nice.

Very comfortable and very nice facilities. Not a fancy hotel but all facilities were clean , in good conditions, modern-style, new , great food. It has nice gym and sauna. Beds were comfortable, pillows were comfortable as well (feather pillows). The beach was just in front, so awesome location. The only thing I did not like was that my AC kept making a noise my whole stay so I couldn’t sleep, when I told the staff they said they would take care of it , but they didn’t.

Location! In front of Copacabana beach. I had a beach facing room. It was large and comfortable. And, very little noice, if anything. The rooftop bar and pool are amazing. Nothing

The location is good also the bed was comfortable and room was quiet They take an unnecessarily large deposit per day. The room needed a bit of tlc. The view and categories of rooms was very confusing.

The building isn’t small, but everything else is awful. The property is large, but the cleanliness is terrible. In addition, the hotel has a foul smell it smells like sewage. The pool shown in the photos is nothing like reality; it’s not a pool, it’s more like a stagnant pond. Not all of the front desk staff are friendly. Overall, the hotel is awful.

The front desk service was great! We were able to check in early, which was really nice after a morning of travel! Most staff were able to speak/understand a bit of English which was also helpful. Great location across the street from copacabana beach. The restaurant - food service. Service was SUPER slow. We waited over an hour to get our drinks (juice) and 1.5 hours for our food. Food was basic, tasteless.

Location Rooftop pool although opens too late in the morning Decent general comfort Juice maker at breakfast Very overpriced rooms for this hotel standard Noisy AC Staff is not very helpful, not very welcoming Check in took forever (about an hour to complete all paperwork) We were a family of 5, booked 2 rooms in same reservation via Booking, and they gave us rooms on different floors in différent buildings. No efforts were made despite my demands to remedy. Breakfast is good but completely overpriced especially as kids pay same as adults. I would NOT come back despite my loyalty to the brand in France.

Location Check-in and check out was extremely painful. One staff member, maybe the manager was hateful—talking about me nasty in Portuguese in my face like I didn’t understand what he was saying. Was completely unprofessional and totally ignorant. This was my second time booking multiple rooms at this hotel. Perhaps I forgave the poor check in last time but I will NEVER book this hotel again. I witnessed others checking in but this behavior seemed to be limited to certain guests. I was not given the WiFi code until I specifically requested it. Was provided no information about breakfast nor amenities at the hotel until I waited by the queue to overhear other guests being given relevant information There are small flying insects in the shower and the beds are lumpy. There are a lot of other nice hotels on the same street. I booked multiple rooms at this hotel at the last minute. That should have been a clue since other hotels in the area were completely booked.

You can’t do this to someone in Rio de Janeiro such a dangerous city.

Location on Copacabana Beach was good. Our room for the price was quite small and had no beach view, just a street and opposite building. Obviously the price was associated with the Carnival Festival period. Breakfast was basic and very congested if you did not get there early. Bag assistance was mediocre at best.

There’s problems with the WiFi. They made mistakes with the charge on the hotel. The room wasn’t ready on time.

Location perfect. Staff super friendly. I requested a longer stay and was asked to wait until the morning I checked out to request it. I was denied on that day.. If I had booked it myself the day before on the app I would have had been able to extend my stay.

The food, drinks, and amenities offered were fantastic. The rooms were always neat and orderly from the service staff, and the the Air Conditioners were phenomenal in the rooms, especially after walking around Copacabana for awhile. Two separate points of note. 1) There was a significant leak in the bathroom shower by the drain that leaked water into the toilet area which often left the floor mats soaked, prior to use stepping out of the shower. 2) When ordering dinner on the rooftop bar, it took almost an hour and a half from the time of ordering our food to receiving it on the night of the 15th. I don’t know if it was due to Carnival, but the service was incredibly slow.

We were upgraded to a partial sea view room upon our arrival which was really nice. The room was quite spacious and comfortable. We had dinner in the hotel the first night as it was raining heavily. We both ordered the veal lasagna and it was amazing. The service was quite slow though. We had dinner at the hotel another night as it was pouring agin, but this wasn’t as good. The food finally arrived cold after an hour. There was quite a production involved to get any resolution including the food manager, but it was finally resolved once customer relations got notified of the situation by a staff member. Aside from that incident, it was a very pleasant stay. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location for enjoying the beach and walking along the promanade. Restaurant and bar service can be slow.

Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing from start to finish. Check-in took more than an hour due to “technical problems,” and after waiting so long, we finally reached the room only to discover that it was not even ready yet. This was a very frustrating start. The air conditioning was not working, and maintenance came to fix it while all of our personal belongings were in the room. They worked there for more than an hour, which should have been handled when no guests were present. After they finished, the room was left very dirty, so we requested housekeeping, but no one ever came to clean. Throughout our stay, the reception staff were not helpful when we expressed our dissatisfaction with the room and overall experience. Check-out was also very poorly managed. There was only one employee at reception, resulting in a line of around 40 minutes. We almost missed our flight because of this delay. Overall, the lack of organization, poor service, and insufficient customer care made this one of the worst hotel experiences we have had.
