A couple of things were broken in our room

They were very easy to work with and hospitable...

Ultimately we chose Cambria. The bedroom was clean. Sheets felt fresh. The Air conditioner works flawlessly, perfect for summer. The shower was clean and the staff were friendly. Everything seemed well maintained. We stayed on the 4th floor. Overall when I come back to Dallas this is where I will be staying. Also, The area it’s located is so cute. Lots of restaurants in driving distance. We tried Prime, Mediterranean restaurant. Everything was fresh and well made.

Beautiful hotel, super clean and comfortable rooms. We booked several rooms for our son’s graduation celebration. All rooms were perfect. The service was spectacular. Our waiter Susan was super nice and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and included in the room price (not a buffet but 4 breakfast plate options). They were short-staffed that day in the restaurant and Susan went out of her way to take care of our large group. We definitely recommend and will be back!

Cleanliness, Moderation Property needs new face towels..

Our second time at this hotel. Hotel as clean as we remembered it. No carpet! Breakfast on Saturday was not a buffet, they make it fresh to order, so make sure you have plenty of time. When we were there there was only one lady attending everybody, so it is slower than expected. I wish they provide water bottles in the room. But other than that, would come back when we are in town.

Our room, 427, top floor, suffered from what sounded like utility equipment on the roof; a deep, throbbing rumble, not unlike a diesel locomotive idling. The floor need a good cleaning, my bare feet bottoms were black entering the shower. The long tray shower was extremely slippery, a rubber mat was needed, I used a towel to avoid falling. It seems the shower tray was not thouroughly rinsed after cleaning leaving a very slippery residue. Also, the open shower concept, ie no door, was not comfortable, too much "cold" air.

I told the main desk about it, and their bogus suggested solution was to spray the room with more chemicals. I solved it by letting the air conditioning fan in high rotation for hours. Also, when I arrived, there was no chair for the table in my room. It took staff more than 30 min to provide me with a chair. Finally, there were coffee and other stains in the room walls and furniture. They clean the room well, but there's no attention to this type of detail. It makes it seem like there were heavy messes that were superficially removed from the room.

spent the entire stay without a working TV.... four remote controls, none worked. Stayed in many Cambria Hotels. Will mot be staying at this location ever again.

You’re in walking distance literally right outside the building of a few restaurants even a 7-11 the only bad thing was our toilet flooded. And took maintenance forever to come. But that’s minor. You’re gonna definitely enjoy your stay 10/10 I will stay again lol.

It was pretty clean I reserved a king room over a week in advance yet when I arrived they said they did not have any king rooms available. They gave me a full bed instead every though I reserved and paid for a king. Also the WiFi did not connect at all to any of my devices and staff was no help. Also no luggage carts available.

No internet cable really stinks just got back to room from day out cant even watch a show

Highly recommend this hotel. Beautiful, clean and quite rooms. The staff were awesome, ready to help, and very attentive. Wherever I may travel, I'll check to see if this hotel is in the area...I'll definitely stay there.

Reasonable price hotel. Staff are very nice and helpful. The only complaint we have is there’s no trash bags in the trash cans in the room.

Amazing stay!

Tiara, Nasaya and Eol were really amazing. I stayed here for 15 nights and everything they saw me, they said hello with a smile. The hotel itself was in a great location. So many restaurants in the square. The room was spacious and new. The lobby was open and very spacious as well. Great gym as well and laundry machines available. I will definitely return!

The room was very spacious and clean,staff was super nice. The breakfast was ok. There was not a lot of parking due to the restaurants in the area. Overall my stay was comfortable. Next time I'm in Dallas I will be staying there again. Oh I forgot the lobby decor was beautiful.

Everything was perfect. The staff was very kind every day different people. We never tried their food but it looked very good. Parking was fine we had a big truck and had to park further away but still could find parking. I would recommend this place I really enjoyed our stay. Let me add the beds are amazing nice and fluffy.

Nothing major but the parking. Depending on if the hotel is full or the restaurants near the hotel is full, parking becomes scarce, and you have to park far. Other than that the whole stay was wonderful no complaints and the staff was very friendly and attentive.

I don't think the breakfast is worth charging for but i guess trying to make it a more fancy hotel you would have to charge. other than that this hotel is amazing

My only complaint was that all of the washers and dryers were all out of order and we needed to use them for our players to clean their uniforms. it was an inconvenience.

The room and bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly. It's close to a variety of restaurants. The dirty towel in my shower, dirty/scummy shower head, greasy finger prints on things, pieces of trash throughout the hallways.

I tried to connect my Netflix or prime and it has that option on the controllers, but it doesn’t actually connect maybe upgrade that to have a better digital experience other than that the room was very nice of Well kept it was missing a towel hanger on the bathroom door so all my towels are consistently wet the next day I had asked for the bath soap a few times, but I was able to get at the front desk and then when I had house cleaning, they didn’t actually put it into the unit so I had a Google search how to open up that little lock to put in the soap dispenser, but I was able to do it other than that. It was great to say I would stay again, very close to lots of restaurants.

The dog fees for very expensive and breakfast is an extra charge, these offset the good value on the room rate

This place has gone downhill in a hurry! I stayed here for the last two months, due to a home remodeling project that was taking longer than expected. The front desk staff is friendly and pleasant, however, there has been enormous turnover of the staff at this hotel! The hotel seems understaffed in all departments. There have been at least 8 or more employees that have either quit or have left this hotel, during my stay. The last housekeeping service I had with my room, there was no toilet paper left for the bathroom, no new drinking glasses, the countertops in the room and bathroom were not cleaned, the bathroom sink and mirror were not cleaned, and the floors were not mopped. I asked the front desk thereafter, and I was scheduled for a full room cleaning, which did not happen. One of the clothes dryers (for guests) has been out of service for 5 weeks, and still isn’t working. On a near daily basis, there is a strong marijuana smell in the hallway and elevators, and despite repeatedly telling management about this, nothing was ever done! Why even have non-smoking policies, for cigarettes or marijuana, when management will not enforce those policies? Awful, and not professional! The bar/restaurant was closed yesterday, (and other days) because an employee did not show up. No one else could fill the shift? Front desk does a great job, despite management not being readily available for help. An automated kiosk, would do a better job than this hotel’s upper management. Terrible!

There were a lot of positives . Staff was very friendly , overall grounds appeared clean , beds and pillows very comfortable…. However , walls are not sound proof and I could not sleep . I could hear everyone’s conversations . All night long I heard banding noise . It’s appeared to be like knocking but I don’t know what it was . I will never stay there again because I could not get sleep .

Sofa was uncomfortable to sit on. If one is not careful, its possible to accidently hit the glass door to the entrance of the bathroom area when its dark. I generally ignore minor inconveniences when staying at hotels. But my room/stay had too many things that were not up to par.

The king bed room I had on the first night was excellent. It was very roomy and comfortable. I really liked the coffee maker and bar area. The first room I had unfortunately had a sour, dirty sock smell in it that got worse over the day, so I moved rooms for the last 2 nights. That room was right next to EXTREMELY loud and obnoxious people who yelled and acted like they were the only ones in the hotel until 1 am both nights. I also did NOT like the parking. When I would get to the hotel each night around 7 pm, I had to park waaaaaaaay out then move my car in around 9 pm after the parking cleared out from nearby restaurants.

Overall is good hotel for traveling stay.

I like this location when I'm going from 1 side of DFW to the other and I have things to do in the middle I don't like that they charged me nearly $100 more than I agreed to online...Even if it was a deposit I CERTAINLY wasn't informed...and I haven't heard anything about getting it back...I was also supposed to have a room with a bathtub...A suite w/ a tub for extra comfort was what was advertised

From the room to the breakfast everything was great.

The bathroom door was barn style glass door and it didn't lock. It wasn't practical for us since we had a toddler.

Other than that the staff was very welcoming and would I stay again, maybe if I was on the highest floor. Parking there was horrible! They share parking with other restaurants which take away from guest parking at the hotel. Only real dislike about the hotel! Overall, stay was nice room was huge, we had the superior suite. It was big enough to get 3 or 4 blow up mattresses in there (hint hint). Good for a family of 5 and kids to play in the middle of the floor. Oh yea and breakfast costs we never got to eat it tho. By the time we woke up it was over lol Rate 8/10 I’d still recommend it tho! Nice area, nice staff, nice rooms and smells good! You won’t be disappointed as long as you beware there may be alot of bumping above you. So yea it would be a 10/10 if it wasn’t for those few minor things.

This hotel is an absolutely amazing. I love the location. My room was like a mini apartment. The staff specifically Tiara and Mariah were absolutely incredible from the very beginning. They made our stay worth it with their amazing hospitality and being so sweet. This is my second time staying at this location and it’s now my family’s favorite place to stay.

I paid and wasn't once again Not Informed that this place Still is infested with roaches. I left for that reason 3 months ago and thought I would try again hopeful they had cleaned out the problem but woke to roaches in the bathroom and closet. I took pictures and reported to the staff.

I always choose the Cambria, however this experience was the worse. The rooms are still clean the property is still nice, but the service went down hill. The front desk lady with the dreads never greeted me, told me I didn’t have a room there, she was always watching tv in the sitting area while I was left to figure everything out on my own. She wasn’t pleasant at all! The other young lady at the front desk w the natural hair didn’t KNOW ANYTHING, but confidently gave me the WRONG answers. If I didn’t KNOW what i was talking about I would’ve ended up over paying, not using the washing machine, etc. The most helpful person was Carlos. Even the new manager is terrible. They’re like zombies that don’t see you or the help you need. Major difference from my previous experiences. Thanks to Carlos again, he should actually run the place!!!

This was my 1st time at Cambria in Richardson. The hotel was very clean, staff were nice. The layout of the room was different but everything met my expectations. I slept comfortably. The staff were so helpful and welcoming. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are very clean, comfortable and roomy. I would definitely stay here again.

Parking is a problem for big vehicles…

Everything was great the main thing is the bed it’s sooooo comfortable we slept like babies! The only thing we don’t like is there’s hardly anywhere to park but other than that we had a great stay smelled fabulous was very clean will definitely be back!

So happy we stayed here when we were in Richardson for a wedding. We went ahead and book the premium suite and it was great. So spacious I love that the hotel was recently. I would upgrade to the bigger space if you are thinking about it. It’s right next-door to a really good coffee shop and you can get breakfast for 6.99 in the morning. I’ll be checking out more Cambria properties.

My room was clean and pretty comfortable. The challenge was with the lighting. Most of the lights in my room did not work. It was disappointing, considering the price. I would expected a hotel of this caliber would tend to their maintenance more efficiently.

Overall experience was good. I arrived at night. The signage on the hotel was not lit and the parking lot was dark.

Hotel was fine but have stayed there several times recently and each time the final price was different/more than what hotels.com states.

My overall stay was absolutely amazing..from check- in services to check-out..breakfast was good..sleep quality was very comfortable..room was clean..love there was no carpet..but laminated floors..noise from room to room was quiet..you couldn't hear between the walls which was a very big plus for me..stayed 3 total nights..If i return to Cambridge i would definitely consider this hotel u der the same conditions above.. lastly the staff was very friendly...

The staff were rude and unhelpful, and the manager was condescending and unapologetic. At check-in, I was told my card would only be used for the deposit, but later learned that wasn’t true. The lack of transparency, professionalism, and courtesy from the staff was shocking. I do not recommend this hotel. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere.

Loved the lemon water and cookies. Room was nice with comfortable beds and pillows. I wasn’t crazy about the sliding frosted door into the bathroom and I didn’t like the shower not having a door. I liked not having carpet. Multiple restaurants within walking distance is great.

Enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The room was very nice. The walls are a bit thin. Enjoyed the pool. The staff were professional and friendly. Krystal checked us in. She did a great job. I would recommend it to friends and family.

Now for the not so good, the floors are shifting and buckling, so the lovely sliding doors (bathroom & closets) don't slide! We gave up on the closet. The glass bathroom door was wearing a groove in the tile in our 2nd floor room. It was very difficult to open and close. We had family visiting our room, and it was kinda awkward to watch them struggle with the door, then hear everything going on in there. Sometimes we just went down to the lobby restrooms for ease. Why can't hotels just use doors? The room is certainly large enough. I had to clean a full on oily arm print in the glass as it was less opaque right in the middle of the frosted bathroom door when we arrived. Lastly, if I go again, I would request a top floor room as every step above us sounded like thunder or cow stampede, and caused loud popping of doors & walls in our room at all times of the night & day (all 3 nights). I want to love it, fix the doors 😀

Friendly staff, clean room and hotel.

This hotel is perfectly fine especially at the price point, but the wifi was basically nonexistent. In this day and age, consistent, reliable wifi is a baseline service.

The room layout was great and very comfortable.

Upon walking into the lobby there was a horrid sewage smell. My family decided that we would skip breakfast at the hotel solely due to the smell. When we got to the room it smelled like something rotten. Spoiled food or a dead rat, we couldnt pinpoint the scent. We could tell that it had been cleaned previously, but the lingering stench was unbearable. The employee on duty told us housekeeping had left for the day and there were no more rooms available. We went to the dollar store and got some air freshners and cleaning supplies and re-cleaned from top to bottom, but couldnt get rid of the smell. We also found multiple areas that were skipped over previously like the sofa and bar area.The next night we were moved to a room 2 floors above and offered 2 vouchers for breakfast which we gave away due to the smell in the front lobby. It did appear that staff had tried to clean to lessen it, but the scent of pinesol didnt cover the sewage odor.

Decor is alluring but rooms lack comfort; rude maids do not speak English; unsanitary & inadequate cleaning of room; towels not soft or fluffy; not properly clean. Bathroom vent smelled of glue & phlegm. When tired guests (myself) check in my room should be thoroughly clean & moving to another room should NOT be necessary to get quality accommodation. Basically the hotel is almost comparable to a third world country hotel with indecent maids who do not clean toilets sanitarily;etc.!! I demand this company to refund the entire amount I was charged because of the upsetting discomfort caused which prevents me from being able to conduct my own business matters which are URGENT!! People thruout Plano, tx have been crazy, trashy & abusive to me for no sane reason. I have been made ill by their stupidity & abusiveness!! I am a clean living, decent senior citizen &l ady who should receive better quality service at a reasonable price!

Came into town for shopping and a race and this hotel was great. It was super clean and comfy and a great home base.

Room was clean and AC was set to 65, perfect for the summer. Bed is clean and nice, and the pillows have a lot of support. The problem is the shower. Took me 30 minutes to figure out how to turn it on, you pull down from the spout. Ridiculous design. Other than that, it was a good stay.

When I come back to my room at 2 am after a long busy day, I was shocked to see my room door was wide open. To my surprise nothing seems to be missing so far. They moved me to a different room but when I spoke to frond desk the next morning to find out why my door was left open? All they could tell me is that the cleaners probably left it open. Imagine having all my belongings in the room for anyone to take it away if they desire to. It is traumatizing experience and all I was offered was free breakfast buffet worth 9.70.

I vented my frustration regarding the parking and the lady that works nights blew my concerns off and basically told me too bad that I had to park far away. Maybe y’all should include when someone is booking that parking is a pain.

2.17 per parking per day. The parking is shared with other business, restaurants. It’s crowded. We stayed on a Saturday night so it may have been more busy than usual. Overall the hotel is nice.

Property was clean, the BIG PROBLEM was that they cancelled one of our reservations without telling us. We had 3 rooms reserved and we were able to check in two rooms, not the 3rd one. The front desk stupid lady only said we are overbooked and we don’t have the 3rd room, no emails, messages or phone call was made to us. And what the frick do they expect us to do at midnight with kids in the car and no place to sleep, when the reservations were made and paid for. THAT IS NONHUMAN AND VERY IRRESPONSIBLE FROM THE HOTEL.

Mattress was terrible unable to sleep at all

Cons: Parking is a nightmare because they share with other busy restaurants and dont offer valet. I literally had to walk 1/4 mile with my luggage at night (9). The shower is open and only 1/2 glass and kinda slim ( I am 5ft weigh 110 ) so water gets all over the floor, but there are plenty of towels. The internet wasnt fantastic and kicked me off a few times but worked well for the majority....I was on business so made it a little inconvenient. The TV is positioned off to the side ( king stsndsrd room)...it swivels, but expect a neck ache, oh and the TV doesnt have streaming services, but they do have pretty much every channel you could want, it is just live. That being said I would definitely will stay again because the luxury of the hotel is superior to the price. Oh and another great thing is that the cleaning service did not disturb me once! Not even on check-out day. So thank you.

The property does not accept cash either as payment or as deposit for incidentals. The only payment accepted is a credit or debit card showing the customer's name. Consequently, the hotel refused to honor the reservation made electronically in advance through Hotels.com. Travelers should never give to hotels or other vendors unrestricted access to personal bank and credit accounts to cover incidentals. The front desk clerk was condescending and arrogant.
