room location breakfast perferct N/C

Breakfast: too few cheese/jam/yoghurt options, too smelly bacon, bread was not good, the juice was bad and the water from the tap (undrinkable). Old elevator is slow and always occupied. One time didn't open. Personnel at dinner (in a nearby hotel from the same chain) was not very helpful with finding a table and borderline rude.

Well maintained, excellent staff, cosy atmosphere Crowded breakfast area in rush hours

I had a problem of getting the right room, but it was solved after some discussions.

Staff were very welcoming, the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was good. Quite an old building, rooms were quite small, doesn’t look as nice as the pictures portray it. The balcony is very small and so was the bathroom.

The view to the sea from the seventh floor was amazing. With my partner we had FOOD POISIONING on the second morning at the restaurant of the hotel. The juice machines did not work and we were offered some water. Normally we did not drink tap water on our holiday but at breakfast we did not think that they would offer water if it had not been totally safe. A few hours after breakfast we got sick. When I turned to the reception they showed no empathy and were not surprised at all, most probably this was not a single case they met. Due to the severe symptoms we had our holiday was ruined. Additionally, the WATER PRESSURE in our room was sometimes very low, when we asked the reception first they said that there were some ongoing works, but the next day they said that there are issues on the high floors due to the lack of rain in the past weeks. It is in general uncomfortable that you cannot wash your hair after swimming in the sea but the fact the flushing the toilet might not be possible is highly unacceptable everywhere, especially in a 4-star hotel. Additionally, the SMELL in our room was very unpleasant, it smelled like waste water in the bathroom all the time. On our second day when we reported the water issues to the reception, they informed that the NEXT DAY we could check if we could have another room at a lower floor but at that time we got the food poisoning and were not able to leave our room. Regarding breakfast, we could just check it twice (after that we got sick), the variety of dishes was very limited, there was just one coffee machine which was not working after every second person and only espresso could be asked for. Interestingly, there is no elevator to the seventh floor, only until the sixth so if your room is on the seventh floor you have to take your luggage in your hands from the sixth floor up to the seventh. There was a big chocolate stain on one side of one of the beds from a previous traveller, it was surprising that no cleaning ladies observed it when they changed bedsheets.

The location is very good, you can walk to the old town in 15 minutes. You can swim at Ellis beach. The staff was very attentive, it was very sweet of them to give our son a toy. We got dinner included, Mitsis Petit Palace, which is in the building across from it, is also served, the buffet was quite sufficient and delicious. Thank you for the small treats left in the room. The biggest misfortune I experienced was that there was a problem with the lampshade cable and I got an electric shock. This is a serious situation. Apart from that, there is no elevator between the 6th and 7th floors, since we were on the last floor, we had to take the stroller up and down one floor. The drain of the bathtub and the hair dryer were weak, it takes forever for the water to drain completely and for the hair to dry completely :)

Very professional staff. The problem was solved immediately. Provided gifts for the child, for which we are very grateful and happy.

Top location, very good breakfast and dinner, the sea view spectacular. Marvelous staff. Lift capacity insufficient. No hotel umbrellas on the beach, 15 EUR per day is quite a hefty additional expenses. Crowded restaurant for the breakfast, constant queeing. Dinner in the neighbouring hotel.

The location was amazing being right on the beach. Breakfast was great but the servery was crowded and not set out well. Beds were comfortable. No beach chairs unlike the sister hotel next door. Fridge was barely cold - needed defrosting- and ac struggled. “Upgraded to Mitsis (not so ) Grand which was inclusive. Inclusion of all food and drinks was great but our 180 degree Seaview was demoted to views of a disused tennis court and derelict buildings. The ac and fridge were worse and the room was damaged and tired.

The hotel is amazing, the staff is really kind and helps with everything, the breakfast is really nice and the chef is really kind. Room service and cleaning everyday. The location is 10 minutes from all the main things in Rhodes. The pool in the hotel is a bit small but it’s really nice to sit outside. I recommend to take a room with a view to the beach, it’s worth the extra money. Nothing. Amazing hotel and amazing service.
