Perfect location 10 minutes from everything I required. Room was very warm 24c with no heating on, and opening the sliding door let in flies and mosquitos. Don't know what they do in the summer months. The buffet breakfast was OK but not great, room and shower otherwise very modern. Eating hall a bit dated, bar and lounge modern. Sunrises in front of hotel.

The hotel offers a stunning and iconic sea view rooms. The location is excellent.20 min. walking distance to old town and the sea in front. Breakfast was nice. A couple of items for improvement. The hotel entry area also had an overly strong fragrance, which I found a little uncomfortable. There was only a Nespresso coffee machine in the room, and the Nespresso cups were sold for €1.80 each — no water boiler was provided. Never experienced this before. The pool was not very appealing, and the public beach outside was not well maintained; the dressing cabins had an unpleasant smell and seemed neglected. I hope the hotel can do something about it with the local authorities as it is not managed by the hotel but important for the overall experience.

I stayed at this amazing hotel for 4 nights in Nov 25. I arrived late but entered a pristine, beautifully decorated lobby with attentive staff. Top notch service to get me registered and into my room quickly. Room and bathroom were spacious and balcony was large, had 2 chairs and a table and phenomenal views of the Mediterranean Sea—stunning! Pros: attentive and engaged staff, excellent hot/cold breakfast, inexpensive drinks and food at lobby bar, room’s A/C wasn’t working so they brought me a fan to use. Highly recommend this hotel, price, location, staff, breakfast all 10-stars! Cons: last morning prior to checkout, no hot water, cold shower to start my day. No other complaints, everything was amazing!

We truly enjoyed this hotel. All the staff were professional, attentive and hospitable, and the room was beautiful, well-equipped, well-maintained and soundproof. This was a working vacation, so we were glad for the ample desk, good reading lamps and stable Internet. Watching the sunrise from the balcony was a real treat. The breakfast included everything one could desire. The beach facilities, right across the street, were a bit shabby, but that was not the hotel’s domain. For evening sun, it’s a very short walk around the tip of the island. We would gladly stay at the Mediterranean Hotel again.

Location, rooms & staff Late night music, common areas (eg breakfast area/furniture, luggage room) needs renovation.

Facilities where clean and modern. It was a rather new or recently renovated building well located in walking distance from the old town. Although the hotel has no private parking(as you are led to believe) parking nearby is generally available. The public was mostly old German metal workers on holidays paid by social security. Average age of guests was well over 70. For breakfast, quantity prevailed over quality. It was an abundant cheap breakfast. Staff was mostly unwelcoming. They charge you for nespresso capsules, they do not provide an electric kettle and you only get a free bottle of water on your first day.
-
The hotel does not provide large shampoo and shower gel bottles to reduce plastic waste and promote environmental sustainability.
-
Although we did not use any water from minibar they asked to pay 2 euros for water which they claimed we used. It is a shame.

They billed us the use of the minibar, when we didn’t consume anything at all. We informed them about this, and they said they will revoke the amount from our room. That didn’t happen and I had to inform the receptionist again when we checked out. Also the cleaning was not perfect. One day we only got one clean towel instead of two. Another day the cleaning staff took one of our room card, which we left because of the AC. We got back to a hot and uncomfortable room. The bathroom has a full glass wall which was not comfortable for us.

The hotel was very clean, including rooms, lobby, the restaurant, and all the common areas. The staff was helpful and trying to accommodate all of our requests. You really can’t beat the location - across the street from the beach and a nice waterside walk to the old town. My mom stayed at this hotel before, and recommended it because of the food and the location. We opted for half board with our room - the biggest mistake. The breakfast was decent but repetitive. The dinner was so disappointing, that we only had it for the first few nights. Very limited and poorly made protein choices, reheated meals and dry vegetables.

Very clean and close proximity to Elli beach. Breakfast was plentiful consisting of a variety of fruits good fats , protein and healthy carbs. Staff at reception found it difficult to smile or say Kalimera and avoided engaging in conversation with clients. A very jovial and ready to assist staff member was Dionyssis working in the main dining room.
