The kids enjoyed the pool, and the staff were all super polite. however, the room we were in had obvious water damage and reeked of mildew. There were cockroaches everywhere as well which made us incredibly nervous. The whole thing seemed kind of dirty. The breakfast did not have good options either, my son and I are gluten intolerant. Normally hotels I’ve stayed at have bacon, eggs and hash browns as an option but everything was wheat based which was super disappointing.

The front desk staff was excellent. I was shocked when I walked into my room to find a dehumidifier in there. It was plain to smell that the room may have gotten wet at some point. It was a little different from my previous experience with a Home2Suite hotel.

Great stay very accommodating staff!

I didn't try the breakfast since there aren't any celiac safe options. The rooms were clean, though we wanted ours cleaned and towels restocked but housecleaning didn't do it until the following day & there was nobody available to bring us fresh towels. The tiles were messed up in our bathroom and i got a bottled soda from the little fridge in the lobby, didn't realize it was from December (this is April) and the soda was flat. Over all would not stay here again.

Check in was so easy and friendly! I dont that I DIDN'T like it, I just wasnt prepared for how cold the actual hotel was going to be! Id perfer that over hot but it was COLD! Also the shower heads need a good clr dip. Our water was shooting in 50 different directions and I had to get a toothbrush from dollar tree to scrub it. Other than that the

You have a full size refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, garbage disposal and a microwave. Comes with a few dishes, glasses, coffe cups and silverware. No stove. Our room was very roomy so our 4 and 2 year old had plenty of play area.

The staff was amazing! We had a little hiccup with reservations but they were able help me! The property was clean but the rooms need a little update. The handle was broken in the bathroom, the lamp has rust on it and what looked to me stains. The lobby was very clean and smelled good! Over all I would stay again 50 times over.

We stayed here for the weekend since our son had a baseball tournament in Portland. The check in process was good. Our room was decent. The room was clean but a bit run down. Tiles on the floor in bathroom was broken and lifting.

Location was convenient, but elevators would be broken, repaired, broken and repaired. There were cigarette butts everywhere but the service was exceptional at the front desk. Overall, they just need to be mindful of being more clean... Easy fix

Location, price and new. Road noise, fans in hallway and dehumidifier in bedroom indicating they had a bad water leak. Smell of wet carpet permeated the hallway. Breakfast was ok but below good.

I had pleasant days…even though we didn’t stay long at the hotel most of the time we traveled around the city and exploring places… the hotel room is clean and they’re short staffed so the service wasn’t as fast as it should be…overall it’s a pleasant stays…4/5

I loved that I was able to check in earlier as requested. It was a very slow weekend, so we had the pool to ourselves. I would recommend adding tarps or sunshades to the pool area for those not in the pool. It was a very quiet stay with minimal guests, very pleasant. I didn't like the breakfast on the go option. I was looking forward to a warm breakfast plate option, and the drink options were very bland. I ended up having a bowl of cereal with my daughter. My husband works in the refinery industry, and all his meal options are on the go. He was looking forward to a sit-down meal versus the everyday meal routine in that area, as that area is highly known for having family men working in that industry away from their homes.

They have major issues with humidity. They had floor fans in the hallways. And a dehumidifier in our room. But it did no good. It was so hot and humid in the room. It made it very difficult to sleep. The toilet paper and Kleenex were literally wet. And also the room smelled like urine. We were very disappointed

In our room only one AC worked the other had to be swapped out by hotel staff. The girl at the front desk was a delight. But our room smelled bad and had a dehumidifier beside the bathroom which was leaking water onto the tile flooring. The shower stall was cracked in several places. The breakfast was subpar. There was no water or juice. It is very inconvenient to access from the highway. We will probably stay somewhere else next time.

Bathroom door is the issue. They had a slide door for bathroom when ever we pull door it makes creepy sound and doesn't move that easily. Even after complaining couple of times no one fixed it. we need to live 2 days like that.

Loved location I was on the 4th floor. The hallway had an unpleasant smell, as well as the entryway to our room. I'm guessing it was due to high humidity because there were fans blowing in the hallways.

Heard the drips from the leak all night so I didn’t get any good sleep. Hilton may need to renovate this hotel before they start having people stay here. Wouldn’t recommend unless they do some upgrades.

If staying a few days and need a suite. This hotel is perfect. It was oversized for us because we ended up coming by ourselves and probably should have downsized the room. But we stayed in room with Kingsize bed and sofa suite. Very nice accommodations. Portland is centrally based and perfect spot to stay as far as location with Corpus to the right and Port A to the left. This hotel has a convenience store directly in front, easy to walk too and safe. If you have a hankering for chinese sushi hibachi, literally can walk to it... the menu had affordable pricing and opened late. Steakhouse right across walking distance and the movies just down the street. Now just be aware of noise. We stayed in 312 which faced the street and oh wow Portland was really happening past midnight with the sounds of trucks and motorcycles up and down street. So slightly noisy but we were ok with it. This hotel had full breakfast. I love that checkout was at 12. Way better! As soon as sou step out of elevator the pool was to your left and gym to the right. The front lobby very beautiful and staff is awesome. Did go swimming in pool and it was a little "muggy" looking, not clear but they literally had dozens of families the day b4 so i get ir. The water was warm which i liked, not freezing. Now it is literally outside of the washroom and so be aware you will smell when they are washing towels etc due to the vent facing the pool. Other than that it was fine. So in my book this hotel is a keeper!

We have stayed at a lot of Hilton hotels and have never had a bad experience. This time was so different. The staff was very friendly, but our hotel smelled like mildew, the ac was barely pushing air so we had to go buy a fan. The pool was cloudy and green, the couch in the hotel had stains all over it, the breakfast was very minimal unlike the others we have stayed at. Our room also had roaches. We won’t be staying here again.

The pool was completely shut down, with no prior warning. It was full of green water due to an apparent pump failure. They also had to shut off the water for 4 hours during the day. The hotel itself did not feel very clean. The breakfast had a very small selection, and the egg sandwiches looked like they had been there for several days.

Ac not working in hallls and rooms properly, on the third floor anyway. Was not told about dehumidifier up front, once we were finally let in the room with a master key i had to ask what it was for and was not shown how to use it. We felt uncomfortable and asked to have a refund and leave.

Unfortunately this property was not what I expected. My room was extremely dirty, it had a terrible odor, and the blow dryer blew cold air. I requested a new one but no one would respond to me. :(

The room was very hot, my bathroom door was closed. After contacting them 3 times regarding my AC not working they finally changed rooms with a dirty bathroom and trash on the floor. Phones in both rooms that I was in did not work, had to call the front desk from my personal cellphone. I have stayed at numerous Home2Suites and this by far has been the worst hotel ever. I recommend this hotel to our baseball team but never will again. $800 down the drain for a horrible 5 day stay.

Great stay. Didnt care for the covid era sack breakfast when other hotels have a full buffet breakfast. A few cosmetic maintenance issues around the room. Liked the storage and counter space in the room. Walking distance to restaurants.

The condition of the hotel was okay. It appears to be an older hotel with some wear and tear in the rooms. Most of the wear appears in the bathrooms, but nothing that ruined the stay. It was small things like ripple in wallpaper and the bathroom lock being faulty. There was a continental breakfast, but it was quite up to the standards of other Home2 Suites we've stayed at. This appears to be because it's a smaller space than other locations. The food was decent for a continental breakfast, for the most part. The breakfast sandwiches were mostly pretty good, unless you got one that had been in the heated case for awhile, in which case they were dry and hard. However, the staff did refill the case with fresh sandwiches. There is one waffle iron (most of the hotels usually have between 2 - 4). They also offered cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, milk, breads for toasting, and muffins. We didn't use any of the onsite amenities, but they do have a pool, gym, and laundry room that we were told is free to use. The location was acceptable, but currently there is a lot of highway construction going on in the area, which had us a little confused since some exits are closed for repairs. Overall, I wouldn't object to staying at this location again.

The room smelled like someone had smoked inside and the body wash dispenser was empty in my room and my friends room as well. The breakfast sandwiches were served cold. Other than that, everything else was good.

There appeared to have been some sort of water leak throughout the hotel. We have stayed here before and have not had an issue with the condition of the facilities but this time it was really wet, mildew-y, musty, etc. Our room had an overwhelming odor and there was a damp aid bucket that the hotel had placed in our room but it was not working. I am an easy going traveler but this smell and the general lack of upkeep was dissapointing.

The staff was great and made my stay a little tolerable. Other than that the room smelled, the bedsheets were stained, no maid service on weekends, and there was mold everywhere (even on the ceiling). Will not ever stay at this hotel again.

This property is very worn with numerous broken and items in poor shape. The window blinds in both of our rooms did not work and were replaced with curtain rods way to long for the window and curtains. They have a terrible humidity problem in the dining area and in the rooms. Our third floor hallway had two oscillating fans at either end - not sure why but it felt like the AC did not work in the hall. The humidity in the room made the tile floor very slippery and unsafe. We had to be careful while waiting for the elevator and in the dining room as so much moisture would collect on the air vent in the ceiling that it would drip water. Most of the vents were like this. I am shocked that this property is part of the Hilton program.

The hotel appeared nice when checking in. The staff was very helpful and professional. The hallways and the room was extremely dirty and the smell was bad. The couch in the room smelled loudly of urine. Had to put a bath towel in the computer chair to work. Was not a great experience.

The room was advertised as 2 queen beds, when in fact, it was 2 double beds. Other than that it was a good place to stay.

The rooms are nice size. Plenty of room for 4. A/C works very well

Staff were friendly and helpful, but room didn’t have any proper curtain/blinds so was light at night. I could see that a blind/curtain was missing so asked for it to be replaced. This was not done. Hotel was under maintenance (painting exterior.) No daily room cleaning. Mud on hallway carpets.

All was well with our stay with the exception of the bathroom door in our room, which wouldn’t close. It was a slider that tucked into the wall, and we couldn’t budge it from the recess. Aside from this minor annoyance, everything else was just fine. The weekend breakfast was much better than expected, which was a nice perk. All around, I would definitely stay here again.

The “hot” breakfast is microwave sandwiches.

When we arrived at the hotel, they did not have a room ready for us. I had previously called and given my name to the receptionist and let her know we would be there closer to 5pm. When we arrived we had to wait until a room was available. They did give us free snacks and drinks but we were sandy and wet from the beach and really wanted to shower and relax. We waited about 30-40 mins. The room was very clean and perfect for us. Breakfast the first morning was great, they had omelets and waffles. The second day also waffles but no omelets and they had egg bowls that tasted a little weird or sour. On the second night my daughter and I went swimming and the pool was cloudy, we did not swim for long as I didn’t feel it was super clean. Other than those things it was a fine stay. I never once saw a bug and the beds and pillows were very comfy. Sofa bed is not comfy at all though fyi very thin so I’d say good for small children not adults.

The only thing was that there was NO Body wash but no one knew how to replace it...I honestly didn't understand that...

Nice place to stay

My only concern was that it smelled like animal urine in the lobby. I am not sure if it was the mats or a dirty mop with urine scent. I don’t know if I would stay here again due to the smell issue.

Good customer service, nice people, good breakfast, clean rooms, good pool area, easy check-in. No maid service on weekends.

We stayed here during a beach trip to Corpus Christi. Hotel was right off the highway & near plenty of businesses. Staff was nice & friendly. Rooms were clean.

Stay was very good, we had no problems. Hotel was in a great spot, easy access, and comfortable rooms.

They were struggling with lack of help. Also the pool was not available as they were waiting for a part to fix it. The staff did everything they could to make our stay nice and we love the size of the rooms for our family.

My stay was overall good, my complaints were, the pool is out of order, and you have to clean your room... had to go to the front desk everyday for towels and trash bag

We had a good and comfortable stay while visiting Portland. Hotel was clean, welcoming and easily accessible. Room was spacious, cool and worked great for our family. Will definitely recommend!

This property was clean and hand sanitizers/wipes were provided in the lobby. I was disappointed with the customer service though as the room microwave was not working, which they knew even before we checked in but they didn't offer any alternatives like changing the room or fixing the microwave. Breakfast was included but not many options!

The suite size was perfect for our needs. The lobby was clean and inviting and the staff was friendly!

Pool broken , no housekeepers , very rude night shift receptionist the man with long grey hair who refused to give me his name and he was not wearing a mask or a badge.

Don't waste your time and money staying here. It is dated and smells. Not to mention, the pool is still closed and there was no notification. Had we known the state of this hotel, we would have stayed at one of the other very nice hotels that are right in the same area.

Property description says that kitchen is included but there is no stove top in the room. When we asked about it, they provided a induction stove top that can be plugged in. Kind of inconvenient. We stayed multiple days and they didn't change towels / clean rooms even when we asked them to.

Would definitely stay again. My family slept comfortably with no interuptions. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. Cant wait for the pool to be available!

The suite was very nice in that it had a full size refrigerator and it had a nice microwave and even had a dishwasher with provided dishes. The unpleasant part was that the light over the bathroom sink only worked part of the time and there’s no way to turn off the bathroom fan which was extremely loud and became an annoyance. The breakfast set up was fast, but lacked in quality.

The staff at this location was rude and argued with me about getting a towel to accommodate all 5 people in my room one of the employees told me to shut my mouth. I will never stay at this location and if you want to get treated poorly I suggest you don't stay here either.
