I stayed here a few weeks ago and didn’t get to do a review. This is a great place to stay at.

Front desk staff were so nice and helpful with anything we needed. Would definitely stay here again. There wasn’t anything I didn’t like.

Dont waste your money....went to check in at 7:30 p.m. and room was not cleaned yet, had to wait 45 minutes when check in is at 3. Front desk guy told me wasn't his problem. Breakfast was a joke too.

Good location, easy ingress and egress, parking lot was well lit. Lobby had a sewer gas smell, and the restrooms were out of order. The room had mold, smelled musty, and the furnishings were all very worn. The reviews here were very misleading, this is no higher than a 5 - and that is ok there is a time and place for a 5 hotel, but our expectations were set higher due to the 8 rating, and this is not anywhere close to that. Too many other options in the area for us to stay here again.

Simple to find They require a $75 "incidentals" payment as you check in. They hold it to cover incidentals you may charge to your room. There is no shop in the hotel so nothing to buy. Supposed to refund in 2 to 3 days back to your credit card. Hopefully it does get returned.

nick was very courteous and helpful. The hotel is clean and well maintained and all the amenities worked The only thing I wasn't particularly thrilled for was the TV remote not having functions to switch TV input.

Pleasant

It was relatively clean, much cleaner than the Comfort Inn in the same area. The computer & printer were broken but the front desk staff will help you print out necessary documents if you email to them. Breakfast was basic and same daily: cereal & milk, Quaker Oats, toast, scrambled eggs, sausage, yoghurt, apples, bananas. Room service is every 2-3 days. The location is close to many shops and services.

Overall, the stay was pleasant and met our needs. The property shows signs of wear and tear, but it was comfortable. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

The staff manager, Paddy, was terrific! I really appreciated his help during the stay.

place could definitely use a deep clean. smell was a bit off and rooms had a must scent. thin sheets, but luckily brought my own blanket from home. breakfast was the exact same every day and wasnt worth me paying extra to stay here over motel 6 down the street. staff was super nice tho. id consider again if i just need a place to sleep and shower kinda thing but wouldnt count on the breakfast. wasnt something i could enjoy daily on my 1 week stay. Great location, close to everything i needed

This hotel was one of the best that I have recently stayed at when one considers value. For the price, more than a good deal. It is an older facility that could use some upgrades in certain areas. But, overall, a great bang for the buck facility. Staff was always ready to help.

Basic cheap hotel room, nothing to write home about. The breakfast was terrible. The waffle maker does not work, leaves the inside of the waffle uncooked no matter which way you try. Good enough for what I needed but wouldn’t stay again.

Not comment, it’s ok if you only want to sleep I request a room with out connection with another room and they give me exactly with connection to another room and I make a comment to the receptionist about It and they didn’t change my room and also I was expecting some water to drink or make a coffee but didn’t have at the room I have to walk to the seven eleven to buy a water. They have to check what’s going on with the water in the shower because was to less.

Won’t stay here again. Breakfast did not look appetizing and was very limited. Bed was decent and room was clean. Sink top was busted and tub needed some repair. The staff was harassing of my husband who was traveling with his service animal. He was requested twice to provide proof of his animals status. If traveling with a service animal, be aware and choose accordingly.

Breakfast was horrible on Saturday. Coffee like water, just awful as far as breakfast choices. Didn't feel at all valued as a traveler by what was served. Cheap bread slices, muffins where garbage. Sausages looked boiled, afraid to eat eggs. Sugary cereals. They sure could have tried harder. A bagel would have been nice

The rooms were adequate. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom is clean. However, the hotel itself looks worn and is in need of refurbishing. The breakfast was lacking, not even serving orange juice.

The internet is unusable. The staff gives you a tech support line to call as if it's your computer that is the problem when in fact, it's the hotel's problem and they refuse to update their wifi to a usable speed to cover all the rooms. It's totally ridiculous how they deal with the wifi. Heck, I've had far better internet in 3rd world countries. The breakfast is cold and nasty. It's like something that was cooked days before and sat out at room temperature for days on end, totally unedible. The parking lot constantly reeks of marijuana and sometimes inside the hotel as well. I saw somebody letting their dog out in the grassy area next to the hotel when the hotel is supposedly no pets allowed. The insides of the rooms have lots of scrapes on the walls.

Breakfast was less than basic. Just some fake eggs and dry cereal and a waffle maker. I stayed 2 nights and asked for my room to be cleaned and the desk clerk said I should've let them know before 9am if I wanted my room cleaned and then another guy came up and said they would bring me some towels and do a light cleaning. I've never had a hotel not clean on 2 night stays!

They gave me a room and it smelled so strongly of mold that I couldn’t breathe, so I left. Then I politely asked if they had a room without that smell, and they changed it, but that one also smelled.Also breakfast so poor nothing!!

Standard hotel experience. Room table chairs were worn. Overall it was fine for a quick one night stay.

I tried to use it but no luck so I went back to from desk and asked to change room the guy said to me no and just tell the manager in the morning so I I spent the night in a same room with no toilet I spoke to the manager in the morning and he said to me sorry and he will give me ten percent off the next time , I couldn’t believe what I’m hearing I was charged full price

I will never stay here again! The room was disgusting the moment I walked in. There was a strong, overpowering musk/cologne smell that intensified when the ac kicked in. It gave me an intense headache after 5 minutes being there! The smell was so bad that it kept waking me up. Didn’t even know that was possible. After the 3rd time of being awoken, we left at 4am. The room was damp also. Even worse, it was discovered that my daughter had BED BUGS in her bed! With all of this I can honestly say this was the WORST hotel experience I’ve ever had in my life. I would avoid this place at all costs.

Very nice property, very clean. The AC in my room wasnt great but it kept the room comfortable, it was very hit this particular weekend and the window was on the sun side of the building. I would stay here again if in the area.

There was a heavy mold smell in the room, tried another and it was the same. I had to check out of the hotel within 10 minutes of arrival because of my mold allegories. In addition, furniture was in poor condition with table dents and leather chairs are excessive peals. Mattress was very cheap in which you feel the springs and for people with back issues it will not be pleasant. Having said all of that front desk clerk was very nice.

Check in was quick. It’s a good stay for those on a budget.

Location - very convenient to PGBT & DNT, restaurants, grocery, gas, and shopping. Price - it's cheap, but you get what comes with that. AC was COLD! On the fence: Service - 5 Stars to the one gentleman who went above and beyond for me when I had a security issue. (While he couldn't show me, he checked security footage for me one evening when I had a concern I had been followed back to the hotel. I wasn't, & he gave me peace of mind.) Service - 3.5 Stars to the other front desk gentleman who let me back into my room about 3 times when I was constantly forgetting my key. I stayed for almost a week and I'm sure he got sick of it / started to expect it, but he didn't complain and kindly helped. However, when I had an issue with the mini fridge in the room and my food kept getting leaked on and ruined, the only help he offered was to come "wipe it down" and not actually fix the issue. I ended up with over $50 worth of food spoiled during my stay. Negatives: -No pool -No outside seating -Exterior door securtiy: the side entrance on the East side doesn't shut all the way on its own each time, you have to notice and pull it shut to make sure someone without a key can't enter. This was part of my security concern when I thought I may have been followed to the hotel one night.) -AC unit had a buzz / chirping, maybe a whole dang cricket in it that made sleeping very difficult. It was either leave the TV on with volume or listen to that chirp all night. -Mini fridge

I stayed the second time there and it was great. Clean rooms, good amenities and quiet area.

Staff was very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. This is an older hotel with expected challenges, but the rate is fantastic realizing you're only using it for a place to sleep. I stayed 5 consecutive nights - breakfast available: eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, yogurt, toast, coffee/tea every morning. I would definitely stay again.

My experience at this location wasn’t BAD- I just probably wouldn’t stay there again. You can tell that the staff tries to keep it clean, its just super old and has one of those weird hotel smells. Some of the furniture was damaged.. ex: toilet seat had cigarette burns, lamps had dents and rust stains, couch was missing a button.. etc. Breakfast was decent. Cute texas shaped waffles.

I needed to find a quick place to stay for the night for myself and my 1 year old for ome cool off time. The room and the property were clean and quiet. Staff kind and courteous. It was a relief to see fresh, clean linens in the bed. The only issue I had was the fact there were no washcloths provided. There was the basic bar soap and a body wash attached to the tile in the bath/shower. The body wash was mild enough. Would return again. Oh and the cobtinebtal breakfast was redeeming! Sausage, egg, juice, coffee, assortment of breads for toast, waffels, yogurt (toddler brand). Much more than i expected for the price. Usually, I expect donuts/danishes, juice and some fruit so it was pleasantly surprising!

I stay here anytime i visit plano,but the late check in time is often very inconvenient after driving 5hrs to get here. They do not allow a checkin prior to 230pm. I had to just wait, very annoyed

I checked into this hotel last night, and it was a complete nightmare. The quality was awful from the start – there was a strong smell of smoke and pot everywhere, including the reception and elevator. The room was dark, gross, and outdated, completely not what I expected based on the photos and ratings on Expedia. The hotel’s rating on Expedia is misleading – this place is truly a 2-star hotel at best! When I asked for a refund, the front desk refused and told me to go through Expedia instead. To top it off, this hotel is not non-smoking, despite claiming otherwise. Stay away from this place if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable stay!

My room was decent and clean that’s a plus. Breakfast could use help. Eggs terrible. Coffee was watery. I can’t remember when the last I had Sunny D. OJ.

For the price that you pay for your room, you get a very clean room with frigerator microwave tails and no mold in the corners which are much appointed. I should have stayed here alarm longer before. Rather than the motel six in louisville comma stay away from that one period

My mom had a procedure at Baylor Scott and white the morning following our stay staff was friendly and accommodating gave a hospital discount hotel was clean and we were comfortable and felt safe and satisfied.

Hotel was not clean and the staff was rude. The hotel is a non smoking hotel but the hotel was very stuffy and had a very strong smell of cigarette smoke.

I was in Plano for surgery and expected to leave the day after the surgery but had some complications and was told to stay another couple of days. I came straight from the hospital and to the desk and the man working the counter (evening shift both times, week days) fixed it where I could rent the room for the weekend! The same room, I did not have to move! That meant so much to me as bad as I was feeling!

Our stay was very pleasant. Very quiet, comfortable and the size of the room was perfect. The TV was also quite large compared to other properties that I have stayed at before.

This was our second stay at this Quality Inn Hotel. We enjoyed our first stay and but our second stay, there was an issue with the door to our room not locking. I informed the front desk and he came by to check door problem. After several tries he got the door lock working. The next evening when we arrived back to the hotel, we had the same issue with the door not locking. Contacted front desk and he tried to lock the door to no avail. Exchanged our room and apologized for the situation. We have enjoyed our hotel stay and intend to continue using the Quality Inn. Although this should have been handled the first day there, it’s wasn’t a deal breaker. We hope to continue enjoying our future stays at this hotel.

Oustanding staff, with some tlc needed for overall building condition but room was clean, ac cold, and breakfast still available even later in the morning. A great affordable option when in need.

Convenient location and in a safe neighborhood. Check in was good, however, I was told after making payment for the nights of checking in, I was needed to add an additional security deposit. It would of been common courtesy to have notified me before hand. The hallways did smell of musk and so did the rooms but the room smell went away after settling in and spraying febreeze which I always just happen to travel with. Stayed at this location for recovery from an outpatient procedure and did not run into any problems. Would stay again, as the price was decent and I don't sweat the small stuff.

Front desk staff were great! We arrived towards the end of breakfast and there was not a lot of food left. A/C was great and very quiet. Older property and basic, but clean and good for the price.

The room was ok, but what made me disappointed was the breakfast accommodation. The quality of the breakfast selection is below standard and I just had to stop eating the breakfast option on my last stay.

that the smell of marijuana was very persistent, but this hotel had a no smoking policy. In my belief, some of the guests who stayed at this motel appeared to be questionable to me, but everyone was friendly to me. I was vexed that the housekeeping did not process my room which was what I had demanded, and to follow the orders of the manager on duty, I had to bring my dirty towels down to this individual who was on desk duty in order to get some new towels. The breakfast was decent, and I especially enjoyed the waffles with the shapes of Texas. The eggs at breakfast looked odd to me, but they tasted all right. There was a gym, but a lot of the machinery looked to me as if it was in bad shape. There was a parking lot outside of this hotel. I slept fine, the television worked, the hot water was operational, the air conditioning had no issues, and I had no problem with the Internet reception. All in all, this was a budget hotel that was close to Dallas and to Fort Worth.
