Extended Stay America Suites Dallas Plano Parkway

The exterior of the front of the hotel look nice but the backside was littered with trash. Our room was a 1 bedroom and the fan between the living area and bedroom to move air to the bedroom did not work so had to run the AC as low as possible just to get the bedroom comfortable to sleep. The screen in one of the windows was torn, the table was not secured to the stand and the edging was peeling off, the refrigerator magnet in the door sealer kept slipping out and dragging on the floor. While breakfast was advertised, it consisted of package muffins, granola bars and oatmeal. Coffee was only available at breakfast and there were no coffee pots in the rooms or ice makers on the floors. We had a couple of cockroach visitors and one millipede.

There is a lady called Jennifer front desk they need to get rid of her very rude very unhelpful she sits outside smoking on the patio I will never go there again

Nothing I felt unsafe and the environment was harmful. There was mildew inside the vents and around the kitchen areas with unsanitary bathrooms. This facility was NOTHING like there extended stays. Mildew and mold check. There were people outside doing drugs. The breakfast was expired as well. My stay felt hazardous, so I only stayed for one day. I reached out to HR and was told to wait 48hrs twice. So I couldn’t check out or I wouldn’t get my money back. So I brought the key back on the check out day. But I stayed elsewhere.

THEY ARE ACTIVELY IN THE MIDDLE OF RENOVATIONS BUT IT IS CLEAN. MS SAQUIL IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST!! WAS EXTREEMLY HELPFUL WITH ANY REQUEST. THE HALLWAYS SMELL AMAZING!!! THE FREE "BREAKFAST" I HOPE MANAGMENT WILL GREATLY IMPROVE. THERE IS AN EMPLOYEE WHO GETS A LITTLE HOSTILE OVER THE MUFFINS. OVERALL WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN.

Didn’t stay there made it to room and it was so nasty we got our money back and went somewhere else! Room was disgusting. Front desk lady understood!! I would not recommend this place to anybody!!

The staff was nice. The reeked of weed the entire time, from the time you entered the lobby and up into the hallways. The toliet seat in our room had dried urine on it, and there where sharp staples sticking straight out of the wood in the kitchenette.

Hospitality was not very welcoming. It smelt like smoke and very musty in the hallways. Once we got into the room, it didn’t feel safe. The refrigerator and the pullout couch was very beat up. The bed mattress was thin, squeaky, and uncomfortable. The bathroom had a short curtain for the shower. There was a dead cockroach on the toilet paper, and the shower fixtures were broken..it was very different from what I thought I was going to rent out. There was an air conditioner unit on the stairways and it had no cover; Totally not safe for children.I don’t recommend. The only reason why I stayed was because everything else was sky rocket high for my budget. I wished we could’ve rented a different hotel…

I refused to stay in this motel. The smell was horrible, the carpet was soaking wet, there was a refrigerator that had something gross splattered all over the front of it. I would like my refund back I was promised tho!

We found out, after the fact, that there was detergent in the snack food vending machine... which I'm not sure is even legal!!! Finally, the "continental breakfast" consisted of a few items from the snack food vending machine!!! This is UNACCEPTABLE!!! I have photos and videos to document everything!!! I AM DEMANDING A FULL AND IMMEDIATE REFUND!!!

The stuff is good to work with. However, there’s definitely poor communication from cleaning staff to the front office as the TV was broken in my room. The hall is smell. Very bad of lingering trash, which is not very pleasant.

Did not realize this until 3rd attempt to get new keys that didnt work and clerk told us we were too many and couldn't stay. It was overall a low rate experience. I would say, this is more of a low rate motel experience. The website also said there was a pool. Not true. I thought it was too cheap to be true. Lost the money. I'm hoping to get deposits back since I lost the money's on reservations. This after a six hour drive, and we were tired.

The place is a total dump. . As soon as you walk in you can smell marijuana. The property is severely neglected and the rooms are in despicable conditions. Broken baseboards, exposed low sitting breaker switches. Dirty everywhere. Worse part, the mattress with the springs sinking me as I sat to change my child. The TV didn’t work and overall and uncomfortable place. Cabinets black inside like mold, dirty refrigerator. I didn’t even let my baby walk in that room. We checked out and didn’t stay for the four nights we booked. We were quite uncomfortable and grossed out by this hotel. Do not go there!

The hotel management Changed room. Thestove was not working in the changed room. It was not a pleasant experience. Day staff were horrible. The night shift attendant was very nice and helping. I hope this helps.

The hotel was clean, but had to be shown how to operate the shower. The valve was a little confusing. There was a mixup about my check in,I requested a late check in and even called to confirm. I was delayed for 1 and 1/2 hours due to traffic and weather and my reservation got canceled but I was able to check in. But I was told there was a problem with my card and I had to use another card and pay again. Now I have basically paid twice. But overall it was a nice place to stay

It’s so disgusting in there we had no sheets or covers on the bed we were told they don’t carry man because people be stealing their stuff the pull out couch had blood and urine all over it and the bed was very disgusting my kids and my husband all slept on the floor on a pallet we made… it was late and last minute so we couldn’t leave it’s was horrible the bathroom was so so so so so so disgusting!!!! My room had no tv remote (this was very common) and so I didn’t realize til later that the main tv was completely cracked and not working until I got a new remote from them. The whole room was very old and outdated. The sofa couch looked super dirty with stains and would have not fit anybody on it. Didn’t even want to touch it. The hotel was not as advertised. There is no gym facility, no pool, no business center or meeting room. I let the staff know the next day the tv was broken and cracked and she said she’d let someone know and it would be replaced by the time I got back from church but after I came back 5 hrs later it was not fixed. Someone just turned the tv off. I asked again and she said she’d reach back out and I asked if there was another available room and she said she would let me know. So I went back and was not very happy but she did come to my room and let me know I could go to another room down the hallway. That room was much better and I was very grateful to be in a better room that had a table and I stained sofa. The chair was dirty though and so I decided not to sit in it. The towels were all dirty and stained except one. Thankfully I didn’t need all of the towels so I didn’t even mention that or the stained sink. Breakfast was almost non existent.

Room (124) needed work. Dead bolt and security latch on door both missing. Drawer missing in kitchen and cabinet door hanging askew. Base of night table was seperated from table. No chair to sit in, no table, just two beds. Not good for an extended stay.

My suite was not adequately cleaned. I reported the discovery of drug paraphernalia on the couch to the front desk staff in the presence of my children. The potential risk to my youngest child is unacceptable. Despite reporting this to both the front desk and the head housekeeper, I received no follow-up. This experience fell significantly short of the advertised standards.

Was able to pay through Booking.com/Afterpay. On arrival, I had to yell for the hotel staff to get checked in. I left for a couple of hours, came back and my key didn't work anymore. The couch was stained and worn. I wasn't planning on preparing any meals, but the stove/burners had rust surrounding them. I thought the 32 Inch TV wasn't working, until I realized the remote was not the original. I was on the first floor and there were residents above me, extremely loud most of the night. The continental breakfast consisted of a few chocolate muffins, oatmeal packets and coffee. If I could get a refund of, some of the fee, I would gladly accept..

I went to Plano inn & suites and had a really bad experience so I booked the stay here, and it was very nice experience and stay. I would update the stoves, and get an ice machine. Other than that, it was pretty decent.

This property was dirty, outdated, and quite disgusting. The only positive was the young lady that was at the counter was extremely helpful in a very difficult situation the first room that she gave me there was no shower curtain and no shower rod. I came back to the front desk and she apologize. She upgraded me to a room that was a bigger room and much cleaner than the first but the showerhead did not work and I had to take a bath. I requested a blanket because it was very cold and I was told I would get one at 7 AM in the morning but once again, I want to stress that the young lady that was at the counter when I checked and did an excellent job in a very bad situation outside of that I would never stay here again, even if it was for $1 million dollars.

The lady at the front desk is very uneducated when it comes to her job. I booked through Expedia and paid the full balance, the front desk lady tried to charge my card a second time and then had me wait almost an hour for a manger to come in and fix the issue in 1min… on top of the unfriendly staff, they have a HUGE roach problem. You see them crawling in the hallway and in the rooms. My shower curtain doesn’t close due to the pole holding the curtain up is falling out the wall.. Please save your money and sleep outside!!! You’ll be way more comfortable.

The general manager lacks professionalism and is beyond rude. I would think as a general manager you would set the best example for a guest but no she exudes a negative attitude that shows she has no desire to be there. Even the property lacks care. When I was there for 3 nights the latch to my door was broken and I was told maintenance would get around to fixing it, yet they never did. Definitely wouldn’t return.

The worst place ever! I run away from that place. Terri le stuff that is indifferent and slow . Promises does not deliver, hangs up the phones, . Garbage smell. Dirty sheets. Broken shelfs. Old , terrible stains on a carpet, have a video of others passing out from smells. Garbage can is inside on a first floor. Unbelievable.

The room was appeared clean but once you looked closer, it wasn’t. The kitchenette was old with broken and in disrepair. There wasn’t even a bathroom door. I just took my suitcase and left, didn’t even stay for the 2 nights I paid for. This is my 2nd bad experience with this hotel chain in different cities. I won’t try them again.

The hot water pipe was leaking whole day in the bathroom tub and due to that the whole bathroom was foggy. Bathroom faucet was not working.

The room was full of roaches, the furniture was old, paint was coming off the walls. Clearly this hotel is neglected to say the least. I was so afraid roaches would crawl in the bed, I hardly got any sleep, I kept the lights on. I asked about pest control and the young told me there's no pest control on weekends but frankly with the amount of roaches that I saw with the lights on, it's clear there's no pest control at all. I attempted to checkout but she told me since I'd already paid for both nights through Expedia I wouldn't get a refund! I'll never stay at another Extended Stay

They charge a deposit which was not listed. They DO NOT have any dishes or cooking utensils, there was no microwave or coffee pot. The hall I stayed in at the end by 2 other rooms was a dead body smell. I literally thought there may have been a Jeff Dahmer wanna be next door. The room itself smelled fine and was clean but I was pretty salty they didn’t have anything to cook with and no microwave when they advertised they did.

My family and I have been here for a few weeks. We haven't had many issues. The a/c was leaking a bit, but it's been over 100 degrees lately. I can only assume it's because of the extra work it has to put in. The staff members are extremely nice and very professional. They actually care about your stay. Ms. Nicole, the GM is a joy to meet. She definitely knows how to run a business. All of the staff and guests are really kind and considerate.

Noisy, no fault of the hotel, just noisy neighbors. Place had 2 beds with a sleeper sofa, good for family of 5 with 3 teenagers. We all fit nicely in the room and it had a fridge to put our cold drinks. We couldn't find an ice machine but we just filled out water bottles half full of water and stuck them in the freezer over night then filled them up with water before we left in the morning, it all worked out.

I booked the room for my wife and daughter. The room was okay. It was the condition I expected for the price. At first we were given a room that still had some one in it. We used the key and there was a black cat staring back at us when we opened the door. When we explained this to the front desk, they gave us a suit for my wife and daughter. So we do apricate the upgrade.

The elevator was broken, so my handicapped wife could not come visit the kids in the room. On two days, the breakfast was put away early. This is hard to explain to five year olds. Room rates must have doubled for the eclipse, they were outrageous.

The room I had was roach and bug infested. Bath tub looked as if it hasn’t been cleaned, the door was patched from where it seemed that someone had tried to bust in, bath towels had stains, hair was on inside of sliding door to bathroom, desk chair disgusting with stains, and mgmt didn’t seem concerned, safety, cleanness and respect goes a long way. Property in a beautiful and clean area, walking distance to restaurants and a beautiful hospital right across the street from this place, with mgmt should be ashamed and embarrassed,

Really Disappointed in this hotel, spend the extra 20$ to stay somewhere else. When we came to check in there was no one at the desk, waited over 15 minutes then decided to call the front desk they finally came and started the check in. The police interrupted my check-in with a 911 call from one of the rooms. 😱They did not have the number of beds that we booked on the listing, so the five of us had to share two double beds. And my husband had to keep building the bed as it kept collapsing. And yes there were roaches and the cleanliness of the room was like a C-. Dirty sheets, walls and fridge. Breakfast consisted of instant oatmeal and muffins and coffee. A/c worked well though! Check out couldn’t find anyone either finally waived to the camera and left my key in the drop box. Have potential to be a good place but really needs some work!

They gave our reservation to someone else. Then told us it was first come first serve when we had reserved and paid ahead of time for a room with a pullout couch because we had 4 kids with us. The room we were given the front door wqs hard to open and close. The bathroom door didnt shut right or lock. There was a fuse box low where our 6 yr old could reach it. An outlet cover waa half hanging off. Everything was dusty and it was a kitchenette with nothing in it. I had contact expedia and get then to get us a refund. And they got us into a great place down the road. I will never ever reserve or stay at an extended stay again.

We did not stay! The Hotels.com website shows "Check-in between 3PM and 11AM". We arrived after midnight and we were told that we could not check-in at that time, the hotel computer system had recorded a "no-show" and that there is no way to check-in anyone between 00h01AM and 11h00AM!!!! We had kids with us!!!!! And, yes, we had to find another hotel to sleep that night. We ended up paying for two rooms at the Motel 6 (awful) adjacent to intended (and paid for) Extended Stay... Surreal!

First just for value purposes there is no actual breakfast just coffee and good luck getting any because it's guarded by a mentally unstable woman who thinks she's the queen of Sheba, and tried start some stuff because we looked her direction. Obvisously whatever crappy coffee they had wasn't worth the risk. They don't have blankets, yeah I know I was shocked too. There are stains everywhere, walls, beds, floors, chairs, even the art had something carved into it. Lots of drug use, you can smell and see it. Missing carpet patches in the hallway even. We didn't sleep, it was a total waste and just stressed everyone out.
