Four Points by Sheraton Plano

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall, it was an awesome experience. The property is modern and well-maintained, with attractive amenities that made my stay enjoyable. The staff was exceptionally nice and accommodating, always ready to assist with any requests. However, I did encounter a notable issue during my visit. On the second night, I received a call from the front desk around 11:30 PM, informing me that they had received two noise complaints regarding our room. To clarify, the only noise came from my luggage accidentally falling off the bed and hitting the floor. Given the hotel’s design, it’s quite evident that sound travels easily; you can hear every step from the guests above us. This made me realize that the guests below us could likely hear us as well, even with normal activities. As a result, the next night became quite uncomfortable. I found myself walking on tiptoes, trying to avoid any noise that might lead to another complaint. While I understand the need for a peaceful environment, it felt excessive for a minor incident, especially considering that regular footsteps should be expected in a busy hotel. In summary, while the hotel itself is fantastic with its modern appeal and friendly staff, I believe that guests should be more understanding about everyday sounds, especially when they are minor. It’s a lovely place to stay, just be mindful of your neighbors!

This Four Points hotel location was very convenient and well maintained. The last time I had stayed at a Four Points hotel in NY I didn't have a good experience with the staff and the room amenities.

The front desk clerk was very friendly. The room was clean and the bed was firm with no sags. Didn't use any of the amenities but it was nice knowing they were available. We would definitely stay here again.

Could never get a person to answer the front desk. When we asked for late check out, they were resistant and made the request feel difficult. When we were checking out, we asked if they were full and they commented not at all, so I didn’t understand why us asking for an hour later checkout was an issue. The staff was rude in every encounter.

Incredibly clean hotel, from the common areas to the rooms. The staff was exceptionally polite and welcoming. My only downside was the lighting in the rooms, way too dim.

Clean room, friendly staff. Located out of the way from many things but not too far of a drive to get to places. We were placed the first room closest to the front desk. Next to the elevators, so it was extremely noisy. On top of that the lobby plays very loud music until 12am, even with towels shoved under the door it was too loud. The bed and pillows were very thin and we both are pretty sore from the restless night. The pool and hot tub were well kept but otherwise it will be a one time place for us.

Alijiah (please forgive if misspelled) is such a kind and caring soul. I was in desperate need of some quiet “me” time, and his service was exceptional. I would highly recommend this property based on his service alone. In addition, the room was spotless, comfortable, and the breakfast options were unmatched. I was super impressed! The housekeeping staff was also considerate and helpful. I appreciate all I encountered; everyone contributed to a wonderful stay!

Alijiah (please forgive if misspelled), and Kayla (spelling?) in the bar, provided EXCEPTIONAL service and care during a challenging time. I enjoyed the entire stay thanks to their attention to detail, hospitality and kind spirits. Many thanks to both!

The things I didn’t like: -TV did not have an option to login to ESPN plus and chrome cast did not work. In the streaming era, it’s my opinion that hotels should have all major streaming apps for you to login to and watch whatever you want. -toilet took multiple tries/extra time to flush. I had to stand there and hold the button down for longer than I’ve ever done in any other bathroom. -window blinds do not go down all the way, letting a small amount of light in the room. They either need to be longer to block out all light, or they need to add a curtain inside the room to cover the entire window.

Clean and Quiet

We were put in a handicap room without being told, and the water from the shower leaked out into the room and drenched my clothes that were out there.

Came in for the weekend to see some of our high school friends who lived in Plano. Great location and liked it was off the highway. Great prices too for Plano.

Needed a night away from home!! Spent the afternoon at World Springs, which was a close drive.

The restaurant is displayed as staying open until 11. One night I asked at 1030pm and it was closed, the second night it was closed by 937pm. Very frustrating.

One thing I would suggest is using some type of fabric softener on the linens. They were really stiff. Other than that the hotel was really nice!

Check-in was a problem as the attendant ignored our prior reservation (and payment) and created a new one thus charging us a second time. The hotel had only down pillows and comforters, comfortable but I'm highly allergic to them. The attendant on duty tried to locate non-feather pillows and finally found one out of four. My wife enjoyed it while I used a blanket and bath towel for a pillow. The Assistant General Manager was very understanding and made everything right the next day so our second night was much better.

I had higher hopes for the hotel; not bure if it was the color combination and decor, but it felt a bit dated. Also there was a large wet spot in our carpet.

Very clean and aesthetic hotel! Staff was helpful and very nice! If I had to complain about anything it would be that the shower water didn’t get hot enough to melt my skin. But other than that it was a great experience!

Friendly staff. Water pressure no more than a trickle. Water took 15-20 min to warm up. No weekend maintenance available.

Everything was absolutely perfect except for the fact that our room was not cleaned the first night we stayed. We left our room at 11 AM without the do not disturb sign and it was not cleaned. That should not happen.

Service was awful!! We waited outside the door for 15 minutes because no one was at the front desk to let us in. We had a reservation, and then when they finally showed up she acted like we were inconveniencing her. Just awful. Then we got to our room, I wanted to watch college football, and the tv did not work. I tried everything I could to get the tv to work. The last thing that made me mad was, when I woke up that morning the tv was on and working. Just overall a real bad experience

The person who greeted us at check in was super friendly and nice. We really appreciated that especially considering the fact that it was pretty late at night.

The AC in my room was not working but after playing with the buttons on the thermostat it started working. The sheets were scratchy and the water pressure wasn't strong enough for the fancy shower head to work properly. Other than that it was a great place to stay.

We arrived very late at night and it felt safe and quiet. We were helped at the front desk quickly and went up to our room that was nice and clean.

The hotel was clean and I liked that the room had flooring that wasn’t carpet. The pool and hot tub was nice and the hotel was not crowded. Toiletries were provided and in large sizes so that was nice.

This hotel is pristine and so quiet. The staff was welcoming and went above and beyond to accommodate us. We stayed during the eclipse and had an awesome time as the hotel provided guests with an eclipse gift bag that included glasses for viewing. The location is just a mile from the shops at Legacy and lots of great restaurants. This is definitely our go to hotel when visiting the Dallas area!

Great value and great customer service

The building was new and the rooms were clean. Staff was nice and polite. We didn’t like the very low water pressure in the bathroom and toilet flushing. Also the hotel does not provide free breakfast but it’s available for $10 per person if you can eat it. The breakfast food was horrible. We don’t recommend eating there.

We check in late, and checked out early for a cheer competition. This hotel was easy to find and quiet so we were able to rest easily.

Overall a nice stay that is close to everything, but tucked away from all of the usual traffic. Either the water pressure was low, or the shower head that malfunctioning. There was also apparent damage to the door frame, as if there was an attempt to gain access to the room. The staff was courteous and met all of our needs.

Will stay here again. I LOVE this hotel. Quiet. Comfortable. Clean. Safe. Friendly staff. This will be our new go hotel when we travel for work

The hotel was extremely clean. From the lobby, hallways, to the room. The staff were very kind and friendly and made everything great. I think for the price I paid, this was by far the best experience at a hotel in a very long time. I would rate higher if I could.

Waiting Five minutes to check In. Waited to get a to go salad from the bar AND no coffee in the Lobby at 6:45 a.m. in the morning. I think the majority of the challenges for this property are the result of poor management or lack of staffing or both. Would not stay here again.

The room was ok. We could sleep very well! The mattress is perfect. My only concern was the lady that took care of us during our check in process. She was very rude. In my opinion the hotel is in good condition, it’s just the welcoming.

Not much food options. Breakfast runs out before time and so was the complimentary coffee. Strange rule of not allowed to sit in the lobby after 11 pm. Never seen a “ lobby curfew” before. Attendant wasn’t very kind to relay it either. Overall not recommended.

I have stayed at this property since It was new as a Laquinta. Around 7-8 years I believe. Once a month every month. I’ve always booked with Hotels.com and never had an issue. Same on this trip. Well on this trip, upon checking in I was asked for a CC for security deposit as always. Well once I checked out I was billed for a night on my Folio. This was billed 1/18/23. Today is 2/9/23 and I still cannot get a manager on the phone or a refund. I talked to someone on 2/6/23 who asked for my card information to process a refund and it still has not been initiated. I’ve talked to the same guy 4 times since 1/18/23 trying to get help and he was the one who charged me for the night. Service is not worth the trouble. I have already found another hotel convenient to the businesses I visit once there and will Not be staying here again. This is terrible.

I loved the pillows in this property. I’ve stayed there twice and was happy both times!

The room was clean and updated. It did look like they installed new carpets and bed sheets. My only complaint was that the sheets were very scratchy. I will be coming back.

A lot of maintenance going on during our stay, limiting us to have a room of choice. That was a bummer. It was my wife's birthday. But overall, it was a good visit and you had a good breakfast that we enjoyed.

There was anything to not like about the property. It is modern and clean. I wiped down the surfaces when I first arrived and there wasn’t anything on my wipes!
