Hotel Noum OSAKA

The staff was attentive and fantastic! We arrived pretty late and had tried to make some adjustments that they weren't at liberty to adjust. However, recognizing our travels had been long and willing to accommodate in other ways, they offered us a more comfortable, spacious and fitting room for two traveling friends! The food was fantastic and the charm of the little kitchen and cafe in the main floor was just what we needed:) We felt well satiated, rested and ready to take on the next phase of the trip! The luggage forwarding process was seamless and the staff offered recommendations for other phases of our trip. Such a pleasent stay! Also, the night gowns are the absolute BEST!

Beautiful hotel, great and more staff people, so nice , so attentive, always helpful and smiling. GREAT location, in front of the river, and the lovely Tenma neighborhood. Go check the Rose garden and park, just across. 10/10 Nothing

A bit of a walk to the nearest train station, and not much within walking distance.

A standout for me was the breakfast - my partner is gluten free and they were able to accommodate fuss-free. Nothing like a great meal to start the day.

Only had coffee and prepared pastry and they were great. Hotel location was very convenient for transit and local neighbourhood. Better yet, it was wonderful to be near the water and greenery. Room was a bit small and lacklustre. Would have found it challenging for a longer stay

My room was comfortable, the staff were nice, and the breakfast options were great. It’s within walking distance of many restaurants and main attractions. Just the towels smelled a bit like fish for some reason :’)

I had a great stay at Hotel Noum. What stood out most was the staff—they were incredibly friendly and you could tell they genuinely cared about making sure every guest had a great experience. That level of effort and attention doesn’t go unnoticed. The breakfast was also a highlight. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, and you could really taste the care that went into the food. The coffee was excellent as well—easily some of the best I had during my stay. Big compliments to the chef. Overall, it’s clear there’s a lot of pride behind this place, and it made the experience feel special. I’d absolutely stay here again. Of course, a private bathroom is always appreciated but we knew what we were signing up for. The facilities were clean, so it was never a problem.

We had a pleasant stay here for 1 night. Our room was small with just enough space for luggage but was very clean and comfortable. Located a short walk from the train station, overlooking the river. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was tasty.

The aesthetic of the hotel is very pleasing. Front desk ladies were extremely hospitable. My room was facing the stretch for Minamitenma Park, which provides me with the best morning sun in spring! My luggage arrived before I did, and the staff very kindly delivered it to my room ahead of time. The room is perfect. There's a rooftop area which I only managed to visit on my very last day, but worth having a look. Not dislikes, but just notes. The location of the plug on the headboard could not fit my universal adapter. I figured a different way eventually, but it would've been great if I was able to use it. Upon check out, I noticed that I could have requested for a cable extension from the front office, which would've solved the issue. For the mirror, it's meant for very tall people. At slightly over 5ft, I can only see my forehead and eyebrows. This is easily mitigated with a full body mirror nearby, but I thought it was pretty hilarious. It's well connection to some convenient train lines but require a bit of walk.

Loved the vibe. Room was comfortable. Everything was great! Although fabulous, I wish the breakfast had more Japanese options ;)

I had a room with a view, but only because the HVAC wasn’t working in my first room The room was laid out poorly, and very inconvenient to function in as a single person who is a light packer

Rooftop Patio Perfect Room Setup Relaxed Location

The hotel does a wonderful job of its mission and is an excellent choice if you are looking for a friendly staff with excellent English skills. The terrace was fantastic and almost always empty and the location is a good balance between the central Osaka station and Dotonburi district, and of course the amazing river walk is right there. Be sure to check out the hotel's local recommendations- we would not have known about the interesting local opportunities and amazing dining without this. I liked the hotel a lot- it is exactly how it is advertised and what I expected. Perfect if getting your feet wet in Japan. If you are looking for a traditional Japanese style hotel this might not be it.

The river view King room was amazing, and the breakfast choices were all exceptional. Would definitely recommend!

I liked everything honestly. My favorite place to stay in Japan after visiting Tokyo, and Sapporo.
