ibis Osaka Umeda

Great location. Minutes away from Umeda. Our room was cozy, clean and comfy. Friendly staff with great English skills too. Not much. May be just beware that the aware the area around the hotel can be a bit rowdy at night, but other than that everything is great.

Close to train station NO laundry room in the building

Location was okay. Room was small. It was typical Ibis hotels. Reception can be more friendly. They seemed unhappy and forcing to work there. Even though ı did online checkin they did another check in for me in there so ı waited sometime.

Bed was very uncomfortable especially since we have a child who couldn’t sleep in the middle of the bed as the middle of bed was higher and round shaped

The room was comfortable, and we preferred the bathroom's more modern shower. The view was also really great. The bedside table was a bit on the small side, and there was no area for another person to put their devices near the bed when on charge.

The hotel has a great location and was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Ok the rooms are small but this is Japan!

Room was clean and bright! Bathroom was excellent-the shower was roomy with amazing water pressure! The staff was helpful and polite. The breakfast was good. The room size was quite small, I could only open my suitcase fully on the small table and chair provided, which blocked the entrance to the closet and mini fridge. But with such a short stay, I didn't mind it!

The property was well located, across the street from a maze of small streets with food vendors and restaurants. We had a fantastic sushi meal, with wine for about $50US for two people. The hotel very clean and their breakfast buffet was excellent, with wide range of coffee choices and the food selections were fresh and well prepared. The rooms were a bit small but well appointed and very clean. All good

The room was very clean and a good size. The staff were polite and helpful, and the location is convenient—close to Umeda Station. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The rooms were small but had everything we need. It had a small closet to store what we intend to wear for the length of our stay. Daily cleaning and towel replacement. Beddings changed as requested. No bigger room to accommodate extra bed for my 7 year okd grandson. My daughter managed however, to squeeze him on their bed.

Location

The property was conveniently located to Canal city and is in a very bustling part of town- making it easy and accessible for adventures. Few things 1) the beds were hard as rocks- and the one pillow provided was quite soft- after 4 nights we left feeling sore. 2) There was a strong sewage smell coming from the sink which we informed the front desk about and nothing was done to rectify. We kept the doors shut the whole time and the fan on but when you opened the doors into the sink area (which also leads to the toilet and shower) the smell took over the whole room. Honestly, it was disgustingly. 3) Room could have been cleaner- the cleaning staff seemed very friendly and I think they do a good job but the room itself could have used a deep clean. Lots of grime in the corners of doors and grout in the bathroom. Plus there was just straight up garbage left on our window sill.

Accessibility, cleanliness and safety are satisfactory. Room is a liitle bit small for us but everything else is ok.

Maybe the location if you were interested with business area The staff attitude was not good, in the reception I almost was argue with them, they are not listening you and trying to sell breakfast in the room the was a problem with sink I told them they didn’t care. There is no room in the room for environmental care some hotels consider it I under that I had experience in that however they were putting water dispensers. And if you are smoking guy there no smoking area at the entire hotel.

Staff communicates well and very helpful with directions. Direct access from hotel to underground metro which is very convenient. Breakfast is decent but the second day becomes.boring already. Selection is fine. Room is smaller than described. Hardly enough room to open up a medium luggage and be able to move around. Shower is roomy but sink area is so tight that elbows bumped into walls on both sides. Insufficient lighting.

Room was clean, linens were clean, bed was comfortable, check in staff very pleasant and helpful. The entrance to subway was right next door. Money exchange machine downstairs. Easy check in and check out. Hotel was located very close to restaurants and shopping. No vending machines in the hotel. You have to go across the street or around the corner to get drinks and snacks. We couldn't find the exit to the hotel from the subway station.

Not easy walking distance to main entertainment and shops downtown in the winter cold. Only a couple of stops on the train though. Room and bathroom were tiny compared to other Japanese hotels we stayed at. Basic toiletries only.
