To future guests, Exit 7 of the Midosuji Line is the nearest exit to the hotel (5-min walk). I arrived at Shin-Osaka Station via the Shinkansen and got completely lost trying to find the correct exit. I ended up wandering around the station for 20–30 minutes before finally figuring out where to go. Another useful tip: If you’re taking the JR lines, you can enter through the Midosuji Line entrance (Exit 7) and simply walk straight through to the other side. It’s much easier than carrying your luggage up and down the stairs on the pedestrian bridge. I wish the hotel actually included this info on their website. Hope this helps! I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights, although the reservation was split between two booking websites. There was one time when I had to call the front desk at 2:00AM because I genuinely couldn’t sleep due to the extremely loud and outdated air conditioner. On my last day, I called the front desk to ask if I could have a late checkout until 12:00 PM. The staff member told me it would cost an additional 2,000¥. I then asked if I would still need to pay if I checked out at 11:30 AM, and she said yes. I even asked about 11:10 AM, and the answer was still, “2,000¥.” The hotel is clearly very strict about checkout times, which would be understandable if they showed the same level of concern for guest comfort. During my entire five-night stay, the AC was so loud that it disrupted my sleep every night. It literally felt like there was a radio playing. I requested a room change, but my concern was never properly addressed, and I only received an apology once. Another issue was the language barrier. There were several misunderstandings during my stay because communication in English was extremely limited. For a hotel that welcomes international guests, I believe front desk staff should have at least basic English communication skills. If a hotel actively markets itself to foreign travelers, investing in English training for staff should be part of providing an acceptable guest experience. Overall, I was disappointed by the lack of flexibility, the unresolved room issue, and the communication difficulties.

Location is a walking distance to shinosaka station for shinkansen and metro , various restaurants and minimart nearby. I booked standard double room and it was very small but that is standard for Japan. Unlike other hotel with similar room type, the room size is very small, so limited space for luggage. Room is very small. no space for luggage.

The location was quite near to station It was untidy, dusty, and even had molds! We waited for more than 2 hours to get everything sorted, wasted the time, While we asked for assistance and they just offered refund instead of trying to fix the concern. 2nd room offered was still dirty. Housekeeping was only until 4-6pm. Had to clean the room ourselves.

The location is conveniently close to the bullet train station, making it ideal for travel from Tokyo by train. The room is clean and reasonably sized. We checked in as a group of four (including two kids), but were consistently given only two sets of towels. I had to request additional towels from the front desk every night.

The hotel is just about a 10-minute walk from Shin-Osaka Station, which makes it very convenient for travelers, especially those using the Shinkansen. 1. Unfriendly and rude staff We arrived late at night during heavy rain, expecting at least a warm welcome. Unfortunately, the staff didn’t greet us properly, there were no smiles and no basic courtesy like asking how we were. The check-in process felt rushed, as if they just wanted to finish quickly and avoid interaction. 2. Poor handling of room upgrade request When we got to our room, it was extremely small, so much so that it was impossible to open three suitcases at once. My friends decided to upgrade to a larger room and were willing to pay the additional fee. However, when they went back to the lobby, the staff inspected the room and accused them of already using the amenities such as slippers, pillows, and the toilet, which was completely untrue. The staff handled the situation rudely and seemed visibly annoyed, even though my friends were paying for the upgrade and not asking for it for free. The whole interaction felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. 3. No proper waiting area For a relatively large hotel, it was surprising that there was no proper seating or waiting area in the lobby. One of my friends briefly sat on a chair near the check-in counter to tie his shoes, and the staff angrily told him to move elsewhere, which felt unnecessary and unfriendly.

i liked the location and it has a fast lift facility, and a vending machine on the floor that i stayed on. The room was dusty and smelt of smoke. There was thick layers of dust around the television. The toilet was extremely tiny.

They didn't have a non smoking room available for me. They were not even apologetic about it. The rooms were event smaller than depicted in the pictures. Our AC definitely was not working. So we left eh windows open, only to be disrupted by loud noises starting at 4 AM coming from within their own building entrances. Don't even get me started about the small bathroom .Thank god we were only there for a night.

There is a station close by The rooms was extremely dirty. Even when we asked for the room to be cleaned they didn’t clean it well. When I asked for a extra blanket they told me they were out of blankets and I was surprised because it’s hotel they should accommodate this for guests and when I told the staff my frustration they told me to come to the front desk and pick a blanket which had a strong order. Originally I had great experience with Mystays in Atsugi but this place was pretty bad. Anything you ask the staff for they make you come to the front desk and will not send it up which was frustrating. Also they do not reserve car parking it’s first come first serve.

The room was well-made, if a little worn. And the bed was comfortable and the facilities were convenient. It was quiet. The breakfast was good. The options were tasty and well-cooked. Some of the furniture, wallpaper and cushions showed visible signs of wear and damage. The toilet was too small to use comfortably. The breakfast serving area was very cramped and there were no knives for spreading condiments on bread and cakes.

The only thing I have to gripe about is there is still a little bit of a language barrier but Google did help both ways.

the room is old

It’s pretty close to Shin-Osaka station and 24h front desk. Our plan was doing day trips with our JR PASS and stay near Shin-Osaka for convenience. So for that reason it was ok, the staff was also nice, but the overall stay was very disappointing, specially considering Mystay is such a reputable chain, we couldn’t wait to leave Osaka. 1)The room was poorly cleaned, dust on the counter, a lot of loose wires, dust and trash from previous guests, stains in the bathroom and mold around the window. 2) Terribly planned: no room for luggage storage, and nowhere to put your clothes. So you have to keep your stuff in the luggage and you can only open it if it’s on the bed. They should at least make the beds higher so guests can store the luggage under the bed and perhaps the cleaners will be able to clean underneath. 3) smallest bathroom ever, tall people should be aware you won’t be able to stand up there, shower and sink are combined so if you’re a couple, you can’t brush your teeth while someone is in the shower. 4) mold: we stayed 7 nights and after 3 days we got sick and allergic, and later we found mold around the room, which makes sense since the a/c would smell like mold and the humidity in the room was so high that our towels were never dry. 5) laundry rooms are next to smokers rooms so if you do laundry take it back to your room asap or you will end up smelling like an ashtray 6) guests have to pay for coffee, I’ve never seen a hotel charge for coffee before. The entire time I was there I was trying to find another hotel with availability in the area. Booking.com doesn’t show you but there are so many hotels nearby, literally one next to each other. I wish I knew that and booked a different hotel.
