Travelodge by Wyndham North Richland Hills/Dallas/Ft Worth

We arrived at 6 PM after a very long day. We were VERY tired. The two gentleman at the desk upgraded our room, which was clean and spacious. It made us feel welcome.. We were able to rest peacefully and prepare for a long day of travel the next day. Thank you. N/A

Location The staff were rude and nasty

The employees were so hateful when I went to go check in because they said they didn't know who really stayed in the room, and what a strange thing to say to your customers. Like why would you want to make someone feel uncomfortable and then expect them to want to stay again. Also the heater worked somewhat but not very well.

There were people hanging in the parking lot and outside drinking and arguing. Managment didnt do anything. AC worked but it wasn't cooling so was really hot.

Nothing if I could go back I would not ever booked this motel and I wish that a refund could be paid back

The woman (Tanya) at the check in desk was pleasant. The room was simple but I did appreciate the microwave, ice machine and fridge amenities the most.

Will never stay here again. The staff acted like they didn’t understand English, their breakfast was a joke and then I was told I had to sit there with them in their “so called lobby” to eat my breakfast . I was not allowed to take my breakfast to my room. The coffee was extremely cold. I had to put it in the microwave and they had no juice at all. The room was not very clean. The sheets were dirty. It was a disaster.

The coffee in the morning was old and cold.

The price was very decent. Appeared too dark outside.

Great Service clean room

So kind, friendly and professional. They seem to be refreshing the rooms which will be very nice when completed. We don't ask for much, clean bed and shower with clean towels and that's exactly what we received. All was good.

Pretty much what you expect out of a smoking room hotel, was clean enough but did find some “stuff” in the drawers but this isn’t a Marriott lol I’d stay here again, never felt threatened or scared and location was actually nice

It was clean and the staff is friendly

The walls were absolutely filthy! So was the ceiling! There were cigarette burn holes in the sheets and the wash cloths were horribly stained. The bedding was cheap and pillows were flat. The front desk clerk wouldn't put his personal cell phone down during my check in and would stop in the middle of my check in to answer text messages. Very rude. I asked for directions to my room and he just pointed in the direction of it without using words.

Kicking ass and taking names!

I arrived at the property and there were huge piles of furniture all around the property and it smelled really bad. It looked like it wouldn't even be open because it looked like a landmine or a junkyard. There was a lot of noise from the gentlemen down the hall, and it was just a chaotic place to be. Then in the morning when we went to the office for breakfast, they guys in the office were very rude about not taking the breakfast to our rooms at all. They were extremely hateful to us. We mentioned staying another night and they had such a bad attitude that we decided not to stay again.

Dirty scary bugs

There was no food on the complimentary breakfast, coffee was cold. Sheets were dirty, writing on bathroom door, room smelled like weed or pott. Bed was hard as a rock, staff wasnt friendly. Customers told the ladie 3 times that the coffee was cold and i ask about toast or bagels and she told me they were out until tomorrow.

The man also refused to rent me a room for a week for myself and not the boys.

Price, location and cleanliness. Bed was rock hard and traffic noise was noticeable. Needed better room lighting.

The desk attendant would not check us out due to them checking out early. We didn't get a refund for checking out early either, for 2 rooms!!! Checked out 2 days early.

Cockroach’s in the room. No hair dryers. The mintute we stepped inside it smelled like cigarettes, and it was supposedly a “smoke free room”.Shower was clogged with water every time we’d use it. The room itself was pretty filthy and the bed sheets had cigarette burn holes. definitely don’t recommend and if it would be possible i’d want my money back.

I did not care for the firmness of the bed, or that we could feel the springs in the mattress, nor did we care for the 2 cheap flat pillows.

Everything clean! Perfecto

By far better than most 5* hotels actually. Rooms are large, built od concrete so very little external noise comes in. Staff is absolutely wonderful and probably the most important element of a hotel.

I stay here several times a month and always a good experience. Quick access to 183, 820 and 121. The property is older, but well maintained, quiet without alot of traffic.

Customer service

The hotel is clean but the bed had springs hanging out of it and the remote for the TV had no backing.

The receptionist was so nice and friendly, made things quick and easy so I could get to my appointment. Room was clean and comfortable. I have no complaints and will stay there again.

The people at the front were very accommodating when we had a problem with our original room and ended up, upgrading us to the best one. Not a bad place, just a little… unkept for lack of better words.

Beds a bit small but other than that it was a nice spot.

A good basic no-frills place to stay for a couple of nights while I was in-town on business. The property is centrally located, convenient, and very close to major roads and a couple of nice restaurants. The room was clean, well made-up, with a comfortable bed, toilet and shower. Coffee and simple breakfast items were available at the office. For a very reasonable price indeed I had everything that I needed. I have stayed at hotels that cost 3x as much as I spent here, but enjoyed very little extra benefits. Perfect if you are looking for an inexpensive but decent bed for the night. Staff were pleasant and professional. Spacious parking lot was well-lit.

The place was a total dump. Half inch gap under the door. Two inch hole burned in the bedspread. Worn out mattress. It was so bad, we didn’t stay. Left after 5 minutes and found a better hotel. Complete waste of money.

Very good service

Hotel is run down. One light in the room besides bathroom. No pictures. Where the pictures were, the paint in the wall was a different color. The people above me had children and constantly ran. I told the desk about it. They said they'd try to call them, but Sat back down to their phone as soon as we left the desk. I left that hotel and stayed elsewhere for the night

Too expensive and knocked on door after I paid room again. Couldn't do my laundry anytime. Other than that it was a great room whoever did the work or remodel of the room I was in did a great job.

The property double booked my room and i was set out with nowhere to stay for the night after i prepaid for a room.

The property is unkept and looks like a 1 star motel

You get what you pay for. Its not bad at all. Random people in the parking lot in their cars with the lights on is weird and the rooms arent pretty but not as dirty with bugs. Ive stayed in a lot worse. If youre staying here its only to sleep and have your belongings in. Nothing more. If you plan on being in your room a lot, this is not the place for you. Otherwise, easy check in and out. Low on towels and tissue paper.Easy fix if you gobdown to the lobby and ask. Theyll give you them right then and there. Dont talk to anyone and you'll be alright.

Please let me make it clear that the staff was great! Very friendly, really understanding and cooperative. The unfortunate part was the pictures posted of property on website didn't even seem the same. I do understand it said they were under going construction. I should have looked at the room immediately after checking in but i had to get to seeing my ill mother, so that was my fault. When we got back to stay i did not feel safe, especially with children. This may be a place people also live paying a weekly rate, it just did not seem safe at all. There were people hanging out everywhere and it was really late. Room was not clean at all, there was stuff on the walls, on walls in bathroom, floor was dirty...it was bad. I did not stay, talked to guy at desk but doors were locked so i had to talk through what seemed like bank teller glass. He was kind and understood, told me to come back the next morning and talk to manager. I had no issues with any staff or management, you all did great. I just had issues with cleanliness, my safety and my children's safety, it just was bad that way. I learned to check your room immediately, perhaps then i could have just not been charged at all for a room that i didn't feel comfortable to stay in.

Provided 3 times room key but cannot opened it. Staff said they wrote wrong room number to the key envelopes but not his fault !!! Ac doesn't stop.

My first room the door to restroom woul not close it was actually not even fixed right. I resquested a new room which was smaller bed was comfy but woke up with horrible allergies and I’m terribly allergic to mold. I had to shorten Timmy stay there and leave.

Called the office & they put a stop to it. Was approached in the parking lot near the stairwell by a beggar wanting money! Was almost crashed into by a car flying through the parking lot! Seems there’s no kind of security at all! We will not stay here again

Booked my room a week out. When I got to the hotel. Front desk said my room was still dirty. But gave me clean bedding. Told me I needed to clean it myself. If I didn’t want to there was no other room available There were also an issue with the shower. You couldn’t use it. roaches in this room

Average for a medium priced stay. Clean, no frills including any breakfast of any kind. Just a basic descent low cost hotel. All I needed.

I did not receive the type of room I booked. I also requested a first floor room due to having a disability and the property not having an elevator. The staff was rude and not accommodating for any issues. The room did not receive daily service. I did not receive fresh towels for three days. I stayed at the hotel for nine days and the cleaning service only came on two days. This never happened in the past. I chose this hotel because I had only had positive experiences in the past. This facility had a complete staffing change and the service has gone down tremendously. I was highly disappointed and will probably not go back to that location.

The lady that checked me and was very rude. She kept referring that I was throwing money at her which I politely laid on the counter and moved it up but she insisted that I was throwing it at her she gives me the coldest go to h- - — look TV Did not work ask for someone to come look at it try to tell him it did not work. Went down to the office the lady just wrote it down wasn’t gonna do anything about it asked me if I wanted to move to another room upstairs and I had already told them I had preferred it downstairs and they didn’t have one

It was a very pleasant place

The only nice thing about the place was the pool and pool area. I understand people sometimes have no choice but to live in a hotel (been there myself) but having residents and visitors mixed together is unpleasant.. especially when the second night your there the police are banging on the neighbors window looking for them. Maybe have residents on one side and visitors on the other. Breakfast choice was very poor. choice of a slice of bread, honey bun or 3 stale cereals. Cleanliness was also a problem. i noticed tobacco in drawers, dirty handprints on walls, and heavy smoke smell from tobacco use (although it was a smoking room the odor absorbed onto our clothes,hair,etc) overall not somewhere i would stay again, recommend or recommend if you have children.

I booked 2 days, paid in advance. Once at property, since I booked a non smoking room, I was told there was a $25 deposit. I was going to get a refund due to not having the deposit, but the gentleman said I could pay $5 & get a smoking room. So I paid that. On the third day I decided to extend my stay, the lady that claim she was the manager stated that my $5 was not a deposit, it was an upgrade. I was confused because how is a smoking room an upgrade🤔 Basically she kept my $5 became very rude & stated she would no extend my stay. The rooms deserve a 1/2 star, the rooms deserve at least some paint, would help them look a little better. Was very disappointed at how Travel Lodge manager handles things. Her frustration for being wrong caused her to keep my $5, I guess she needed it more than me. Would never recommend this hotel to anyway, & im not from here.👎

There was too much noise at swimming pool after 10pm

My room was a super clean and comfortable. Whole hotel was smelling like a flower. It was a very nice place.

Dont walk on floors without shoes, our feet were so dirty from the floors...i didnt want to walk on them.. People running all over all night...it says free breakfast...there were 5 peices of bread for toast and 3 danish at 7am. Never again. And the matress was hard and pillows were flat.

Property was fair condition and clean outside inside the room not up to standard. You could see daylight under at the bottom of the door. Bathroom smelled needed cleaning. One hanger for your clothes, no iron we were disappointed.

have stayed in my fair share of dumps. but for the price, this place was great. very clean. and not just surface cleaning but it actually smelled clean. coffee grounds hadn’t been changed but other than that, enjoyed my stay here and would stay here again. for the record; this place isn’t a “dump”. it’s an exceptionally clean room to rest your head for the night.

And the room had to be inspected? Well, the room was nasty and the sheets were dirty and stank. We ended up leaving No way to run a business and treating customers terribly.

Its a nice place. Close to restaurants. Staff is very helpful. I rechecked in and houskeeping still came to see if i needed xtra towels and whatnots.

The people there were very loud at night and the hotel staff was never present. There was hair on my “clean” towels. The blanket was dirty. Parking lot was full of trash. The people staying there looked like crack heads. Avoid this hotel and pay more for a better and more safe hotel.

The carpet was stained everywhere in the room, the closet doors fell off the hinge and were laying on the floor when I got in and the shower curtain had holes from Burns, the sheets on the bed had holes from Burns. We had 2 rooms and neither of us slept much because there were people partying in the parking lot all night on a Monday!

Guests lounging for hours outside of the rooms. Possible solicitation and dubious criminal transactions at work in and around the property: a criminal element. The manager’s email response to my complaint was predictable. He made his perfunctory apology for my poor night’s stay experience, claimed to know nothing of the prostitution element and suggested that I should have called the local authorities with my concern~.😒

The stay was good. The cleaning staff were on point.

It was in a good location, but everything just looked old and worn out.

Nothing to like here, worst place I've ever had to lay my head. The staff were inhumane and beyond rude. Never have me and my family ever been treated so unkindly before. This of all places should be shut down.

I love it

Really great. While the hotel is very inexpensive, and the room not fancy, the cleanliness, professionalism of staff, and other assets were first rate.
