3 star hotel in a very old and noisy area. Can not recommend it. No elevator so you have to carry your stuff upstairs. No reception at night. Not much!!!!!

Good location Good spa bath definitely made up for it Felt secure Comfortable bed Nice balcony door Breakfast was a little basic but ok for a snack Cleaner kept moving personal items every day even when they were already taken off floor, bed etc so they could clean

The breakfast was very good with enough choice of food to choose from There is only a 10 minute walk to the old town but there are restaurants and bars very close by The room was comfortable and cleaned every day The SAP bath in the room was good but it didn't work properly and there was no instructions given on how to use it

On our check-out morning, the receptionist was very nice and helpful and allowed us to have breakfast after it had closed as we thought we were going to have to go to the street cafe again (see below). That day, breakfast was lovely and the staff were very accommodating. I think the housekeepers did a good job although I'm personally not a fan of the strong air freshener smell on the upholstery as it implies to me that there is a smell they are trying to hide. The location is quite intimidating. The hotel is located down a dark side alley and when we arrived, the receptionist did not come to unlock the door for a long time so we were left standing in the alley locked out of the hotel which was an uncomfortable start. It is nice to know that the hotel always stays locked, though, in such an unpleasant street. The receptionist we had on the first night (Wednesday) also spoke little English and told us that the breakfast cook was injured which was why we could not have breakfast in the hotel in the morning, although on our final morning it turned out that it was just their day off. We had to go to a street cafe down the road for breakfast instead, at which we were only allowed one coffee and pastry (paid for by the hotel) compared to the full breakfast we would have had at the hotel, and we had to eat outside in the cold which we weren't happy about. The spa bath had instructions only in Italian which, even when translated, were either incomplete or the spa bath wasn't entirely working as half of the jets would not turn on. Other than that, it was very nice.

Almost central Hair in jacuzzi so disgusting to use Toilet was soiled Not working properly and drain removal broken Attempted to call several times via the number on booking.com for the hotel. I could hear the phone ringing In Reception from my room and no answer. One moment I got an answer and he said no English and that was that. No duvet and pillows completely flat. Even if a few more were given would have helped but there was no one available. Plus booking.com did not answer to my priority support
