Culture Hotel Centro Storico

Comfortable rooms and beds. Great staff. Near old town. Location was down an alley. A little difficult to find at first.

A modern boutique hotel in a historic building in a beautiful part of Napoli. The staff was friendly and professional and the room modern. Great location tucked away but only a few blocks to the famous streets (Spaccanapoli, Umberto, Toledo), the archeological museum, etc. This location felt quite safe. Great rooftop breakfast too. You’ll need a taxi if you arrive from PMO or the main train station, and to the meeting point for tours to Pompeii, etc.

Noise from the street all night

Breakfast was ok. Glad that eggs were served. While I understand pastries is the Italian thing I find it difficult to eat every morning. Staff was ok. The shower floor in our bathroom would leak every time we took a shower. Room was too small. Even when do not disturb was on the door cleaning still knocked and entered.

Wonderful and super friendly staff. Felt very welcoming from the moment we checked in. Very clean facility and love the contemporary decor. Room is spacious and beds are comfortable. Great location to explore the city on foot. The delicious breakfast served at the beautiful roof-top bar was a great way to start the day. Special shout-out to Giovanni at the breakfast bar - he was super nice, friendly and very attentive to all the guests. He took great care of myself and my sister every morning during our stay. Hope to see you on our next trip, Giovanni! We experienced some plumbing issues - the staff were trying their best to help but unfortunately the issues could not be fixed prior to our departure due to the weekend.

Nice roof top breakfast with friendly staff. The hotal had a great location. The room's shower did not have hot water and poor water pressure. Hallway kind of smelly.

It was very convenient to public transportation and to many attractions including restaurants and night life. And the rooftop breakfast was superb! The shower area flooded into the bathroom and main room.

breakfast staff were nice. Photos were not even close to how the rooms actually looked, the eggs at breakfast were green and there was a major wasp and fly issue throughout the property, two staff yelling and arguing in the lobby so loud you could barely hear the staff checking us in. We could hear the staff yelling going all the way up in the elevator to the second floor.

The rooms are a little dated and rundown - marks on the furniture, corrosion on the faucets, etc. Everything works well though so not a big problem.

The lifts are crammed and passages too dark

The hotel felt more like a hostel, even considering the relatively affordable price. The room lacked comfort and quality. Under the sheets, there was some kind of plastic mattress cover that reminded me of the ones I used when my kids were potty training. Every time I moved, the sheets would shift, and that unpleasant plasticky crinkle sound made it hard to sleep. The bathroom was another major letdown. The shower had both an overhead fixture and a handheld hose, but the switch to use overhead shower was broken. I had to manage my entire shower with one hand while holding the hose with the other—not ideal. Even worse, there was visible mold and some other unsightly grime on the shower rails. In the end, while the staff were great, the condition of the facilities made this stay uncomfortable. I would not choose to stay at this hotel again.
