Was over booked by 20 plus rooms. They were helpful in moving us to a new hotel. When we walked in to the lobby through main doors the sailing was falling in.

The AC didn’t work and the toilet didn’t flush. The works said there were no other rooms available and we couldn’t get a discount because we booked through Expedia.

Note that we didn't end up staying here. Upon checking in, they told us their AC was broken. They let us cancel without penalty (or use box fans) so that was a plus and I appreciated it! But I wish they had told us ahead of time so we could plan, rather than parking, bringing everything inside in the rain, and scrambling to find another hotel. It didn't look like the issue had just happened, because lots of box fans were already sitting behind the check in desk for use and it was already quite hot inside. I can't speak to the state of the rooms, but what I did see of the hotel (lobby, lobby restroom) looked quite run down and dingy.

The entire hotels air conditioning was broken in the middle of the summer-They claimed they couldnt reach us due to booking through a third party. Hotels are ALWAYS able to email-It was too late to find other accommodations but have been trying to contact the general manager for 1 week since the stay to discuss this situation and they have made no attempt to return any phone calls-This is a hospitality industry and I find it unbelievable the lack of consideration, courtesy and professionalism.

Location. No air conditioning for the entire week in 80 degree June weather. Water off for 2 days of my stay. Place was dirty in common areas like the elevators.

Any other week, this hotel should be a great choice to stay in downtown. Large rooms, convenient parking (additional), good breakfast choices a la carte, attentive staff... just that this time, as summer starts, and on a weekend, the AC failed in the whole building. There were also some renovations taking place at the same time, and the water heater was somehow affected. They did their best to ease the situation, providing complimentary water bottles, breakfast vouchers and free parking. I would give them another try.

Ac was not available they offered us a fan. No way to get to get to hotel from garage without walking up ramp. Refrigerator warm asked for assistance but no one came. Sign that water off at 4 pm for renovations but water off 10am-4pm daily. The first day after water went off the hot water never came back on. We were told they were fixing the problem but that never happened

There was no hot water and for a couple days they turned off the water for several hours. My room was very clean and spacious but very dimly lit.

Our room was unusable due to plumbing issues, so they had to move us. Buty biggest issues with the hotel is that they are under construction and never notified us of that. They didn't have a kitchen, so no breakfast was available. No air conditioning was available the whole weekend we stayed. They offered box fans, but the hotel was hot, and very stuffy. And they have no pool as advertised. We were offered to leave and get refunded, but where would we find another place to stay late Friday night when 3 big sporting events were going on at the same time. Very disappointed in Double Tree. Normally they are a good hotel to stay in. This was the worst one we ever been to.

Good location. Staff was friendly. Room looked nice. Parking was easy. It should be nice once the renovations are complete. No AC in the entire building, so room was very warm and stuffy. The restaurant was closed. The renovations made the building look run down (not like a 4 star hotel).

Location The booking agency advertised complimentary breakfast, but failed to mention that the restaurant was closed for renovations. In addition, the air conditioning was not functioning, and the outside temperature exceeded 80 degrees. We were given a fan and advised to open the windows. Overall, this did not feel like a 4-star hotel — the property was very dated and worn.

Room was cleaned. Sheets were kinna iffy (noticed after I slept in the bed) Staff at front desk was decent. Didn’t offer us a fan or tell us that there was no air. Heard from our friends who also stayed there.

The room was very clean, but they wouldn't turn on air conditioner until after memorial day and parking on property was $32.
