The Chambers Hotel
About The Chambers Hotel
On the corner of 9th and Hennepin in the heart of Minneapolis’s historic theater district, The Chambers Hotel takes center stage. Built in 1908, The Chambers has had a front-row seat to the legendary Orpheum Theater’s groundbreaking performances, from the Marx Brothers’ vaudeville act to Prince’s hometown debut. Here at The Chambers, we, too, have a famous flair for the dramatic. Our 60 art-infused guestrooms and suites have walk-in rain showers (some of the suites also come with deep soaking tubs) and sweeping views of vibrant downtown. A lush courtyard with a fire pit are prime spots to admire the scenery on Hennepin Avenue. And 12,500 square feet of event space — including a pristine, blank-canvas gallery — await your creative touches. The skyway just steps from our door leads to the Target Center, Target Field, U.S. Bank Stadium, the Mississippi River and the colorful culture of the Twin Cities.

We stayed here for our wedding and we loved the room. It was clean, spacious, and it felt more like an apartment than a hotel room. It was really cozy. I also love that they’re pet friendly. The only cons to staying here is that i had an issue after booking that I needed to talk to them about and their phone line was unreachable. Also, be aware that there is no parking lot, it is paid parking. The ramp is very secure though. The staff was also very kind.

My room was amazing. Fantastic bathroom with best shower I’ve had in a hotel. Breakfast is very poor. Kind of weird that it’s so badly done for a hotel which is really very good in terms of the rooms.

The manager is rude and should be replaced. Charles

The staff was the most unfriendliness and double charged me and then proceeded to tell me they will call the cops on me when I asked to resolve it and absolve it, after it was the direct negligent behavior of the wanna be manager that sits in the front desk that needs to work on her customer service skills and while she’s at it, maybe a few laps won’t hurt as she looks like she is the whole building. They leave you in the same room even as if got extend, don’t bother to check in, don’t offer room service and they are just impolite. Phones don’t work for the room and I’m having them investigated

Very professional The continental breakfast was a little skimpy with only a few selections: hot and cold cereal and a few microwave breakfast sandwiches.

The staff was outstanding given the situation they were put in on a holiday weekend. The location was great as well. The AC was broken our entire stay and there wasn’t an option for them to give us fans. Having to buy a fan for an issue that wasn’t our own is just bad business. I run a $14M facility with 7 AC units temp controlled across the country. There is no reason that the entire building is upwards of85 degrees for 5+ days. Next issue is parking.. there isn’t any included pricing and it varies overnight from $4-$40 depending on what’s going on it town and it’s not even valet? Next issue, my brother who was on the top floor, had multiple leaks happen once it started raining on our last night there. He was moved but again leaks, like AC issues don’t pop up overnight. Lastly the included breakfast, when you have an entire resturant space, should include more than a box of cereal or a plastic wrapped slice of bread.

Charming hotel in central Minneapolis. I stayed in two separate rooms and both were very cozy with cool designs.

Terrible experience, zero service at all! I tried to contact the hotel many times after booking, but they never answered my calls, emails or messages. They completely ignored all my requests and refused to communicate with guests. It’s like the hotel doesn’t even exist. I strongly advise everyone to stay away. Horrible hotel with no service at all! They act like they don’t want to talk to guests. No one picks up the phone, no replies to emails or messages after reservation. Total lack of basic communication. Please save your money and choose another place!

Best location for our event.. the hennepin suite is quite nice:) I left my very expensive long blue cord for my phone.. I could not get a human on the phone because the phone# won't put you through when you press 0 the proper button. I stopped by 2 days later and its no where to be found. Not happy about this

I loved this little artsy boutique hotel! Good location in downtown. We chose it because of its proximity to Target Field for a baseball game and easily walked there and back. Clean, comfortable, nice staff. Would recommend!
