Reviews
The hotel has a great location and the rooms are generally clean and comfortable. However, there are frequent issues with the amenities such as hot water, TV, and internet. The staff is friendly but not always helpful or attentive to guests' needs.

Check in was smooth and quick, the room was excellent and the bed extremely comfortable. I had the breakfast burrito from the bistro and it was superb and filling! Totally felt safe with the location!

One word, basic, and reception staff seemed dull and unwelcoming.

The staff were wonderful! Friendly! Accommodating! For a Marriot Bonvoy the property was below Bonvoy standard. I would not stay there again. I will say GREAT STAFF!
- 5/5
Comfortable beds, clean room, not quiet. Pipes in walls constantly made a knocking sound and you could hear people in the hall and next door. Did not eat breakfast.
- 1/5
No the pool was dirty an green an closed on top of tht being that it was so hot
- 3/5
Breakfast was good. Elevators are in terrible condition. Worst finish out I’ve ever seen.
- 5/5
Requested and received an ADA room. The two problems I've been having is 1)clearing the bathtub rim with my foot so I don't fall into the tub, and 2)sitting down and getting up from the toilet. The ADA room features a roll in shower and grab bars around the toilet.

We did not receive the room that we booked. I booked for 2 beds and was given a king size bed. When my asked the front desk about changing she said she didnt have any left. I would not have booked this hotel if I'd known that was what I was getting. It was booked for my husband and 15 year old daughter for a volleyball tournament in Midland .

I usually stay in a Courtyard when I travel. In fact I stayed in the Courtyard Odessa on the way to Scottsdale from Dallas. Upon return I booked the Courtyard Midland assuming that it would be just as good. I checked in while my wife was in the car and the desk clerk was very nice and efficient. I then went to the car and loaded our luggage onto a cart and my wife took the cart and our dog into the hotel. The clerk saw the dog and apparently notified the manager who told my wife that we had to leave. I honestly did not see that this Courtyard, 20 minutes from where I stayed on the way to Scottsdale was “no pets.” I clearly understand their position their position. However, here is a regular Marriott customer and there was no “apology can I help you find other accommodations.” I’m stuck at 8pm to fend for myself. Manager couldn’t have cared less. See above

Water took forever to get barely warm. More of a cold water. Called the desk they said they would look into it and never heard back. Also the toilet kept running and was loud. Had to close the door to sleep. The bathroom sink was plugged and would fill up so you had to be careful when brushing teeth and washing your face. The elevator was also messed up and kept stopping then it quit working period

Always friendly staff. The location is very convenient and safe.
- 5/5
In a good location.
- 2/5
Not Well Maintained, Noisy, they charge for coffee in the lobby (not Starbucks), bathroom ceiling falling apart and hot water took over 15 mins also, for one day, they were charging $334.00 plus Tax and fees... What? Why?
- 3/5
I might not have left a review if I hadn’t felt so unwelcome, but due to that I’ll go ahead and rate the rest of the stay. The bed had a huge crevice that you basically had to lay in or you’d just roll into it. The wood under the refrigerator was rotted away and the shower had peeling wallpaper. It was clean but definitely could use some sprucing up. All in all it was an average stay at a decent price, just don’t expect any frills.

No indoor pool, carpet needs to be changed throughout the hotel..and the air freshener/disinfectant was over powering. But the rooms were clean and staff very courteous.

- 2/5
Place smelled like cigarette smoke even though it is non smoking. At one point we got on elevater only to jump back off because someo e has been smoking in the elevator.periodically you could smell smoke in the room and we were on 4th floor. Overall condition of property was worn significantly.
- 1/5
Unfriendly staff when we checked in. The lighting in our room was terrible. There was no complimentary coffee, which is standard at any Couryard we have stayed at. The shower was built so the water did not drain well. I have never had a bad experience with Courtyard, so this one surprised me. We will not be staying at this location in future trips.
- 3/5
Absolutely did not like that we had to pay for breakfast, and that it did not open until 6:30 on a weekday.
- 3/5
My wife forget his prescription glasses inside the dresser at the room#205, I hope you cant found it.
- 2/5
Internet was out when we arrived. Took a long time to check in. All TV’s in the hotel were not working. Pool closed
- 5/5
Great customer service, great location, very clean and great staff.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Just like one would expect from a Marriott..front desk girl was cute as a button and very good. One of the wuickest check ins ever..
- 4/5
Would stay here again
- 5/5
We had a great stay. Convenient to the venues for our VB Tournament. The only issue we had was having to reset our key each day but no big deal.
- 5/5
Great place
- 3/5
First n two nights weren’t bad. Then I checked back in for a third night. The room keys were having issues. My door was not closing right. Then the light fixture was messed up. Also the shower door didn’t shut all the way and water got all over the floor. Had to use towels to soak the water up so I wasn’t standing in water when using the bathroom. The ceiling needs painted in the room and you can hear everyone going in and out of the outside door. Not a good room selection if you want sleep.
- 5/5
I recommend
- 5/5
The hotel was very clean and smelled amazing! Great place to stay!
- 5/5
They provided bottled water, which in Midland TX is needed when staying.
- 4/5
Everything was pleasant except I had no above mirror light. Hard to brush teeth without seeing or do hair and makeup. I moved the lamp into the bathroom to get light. Everything and everyone was pleasant.
- 5/5
Could use some landscape maintenance but inside was nice and clean great stay!
- 5/5
The front desk lady was amazing, she made the hotel experience feel comfortable as soon as we arrived.
- 3/5
Hotel was comfortable. I was really disappointed in the fact that our intentions were to have a nice family visit and utilize the pool with the children. But no apparently it was not ready. It was all green and dirty and not at our disposal. I wish I would've known this before booking here and spending almost $300.
- 1/5
Extremely disappointing stay. Pool was “broken” according to staff. Kept getting told it would be fixed in a day. Never got to use it our entire stay. Sheets were stained. Tv remote was broken. Overall the hotel is very run down. Oh and we tried to have a nightcap in the bar. $54 for TWO drinks. Thanks but no thanks. Worst hotel experience we have ever had and we travel quite a bit.
- 2/5
The staff was kind. But couldn’t help much
- 3/5
Shower door leaked, staff wasn’t up to speed on Expedia, wanted to charge me when I checked in
- 3/5
We didn’t have hot water Saturday or Sunday morning.
- 4/5
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the area around the hotel was nice and quiet with plenty of dining options. I was pleasantly surprised.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel for the price range. Conveniently located. Large parking lot.
- 5/5
Very clean and felt like a safe area. Liked the food in the cafe a lot. Excellent!
- 2/5
Toilet was clawed when I checked in at night and I went down and asked for maintenance or if someone could bring me a plunger and no one did and no one brought one in the morning so I asked to be checked out earlier and didn’t stay the second night.
- 2/5
The place was nice, up to date, but the walls and door were very thin. The room was above the main AC and it vibrated at night. Could hear ppl outside thru the window, but they weren't being loud. The pool was freezing cold and there was a tarantula in it. The breakfast was expensive and only handled by only one person which took a very long time for our group, in which, one of our ppl had to cancel it. Some breakfast tickets were issued, but not to me, I had to ask for one. It was clean, updated, but there is no reason to charge $2.50 for a pre-packaged bowl of cereal.
- 5/5
The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Place is ok small rooms though

This property is always clean and the stall friendly

I don't like how you can't have coffee at any time. You must wake up early and pay $4 for old Starbucks coffee that gives you diarrhea. There is no breakfast except for some overpriced Starbucks nonsense. Nobody at this hotel pays any attention to the 'Do not Disturb' sign so you may as well not even put it out. When I have that sign out, it means absolutely DO NOT knock on that door unless the building is on fire. And even then, try using a fire extinguisher before disturbing me. Not only did they consistently knock for unimportant reasons, they tried entering. This is unacceptable. There was a very nice lady who worked during the day, they don't allow stinky animals and I liked where my room was on the first floor but other than that, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. I've been looking for a good hotel for my company and employees to use. This isn't the one. My search will continue. If this hotel would respect their guests privacy, make fresh coffee available 24/7 and have some sort of breakfast buffet, it could definitely be tolerable.
- 5/5
Very clean and great location!
- 2/5
I had 2 large cockroaches greet me in my room 105, 1st floor. Largest one was under sink on the floor. It charged me and stomped with one of your towels. The 2nd one was on the wall next to the bed. I swiped that one down to the carpet and crushed it. People at desk were pleasant. I think i will stay at hiltons when i go to this city next time. Sorry, but all true.
- 5/5
The room was very spacious and clean. Also the movie channels were great! Kids loved it.
- 5/5
Dillon was there when we arrived, and tender bar one of the nights we were
- 4/5
The front desk was very kind and attentive. We checked in later in the evening and she was also the bartender. She was very efficient at handling everyone's needs. Hotel was clean. Definitely looked a little more "worn" than expected. But perfectly fine for a short stay just for our family to sleep.
- 5/5
It was a nice hotel
- 5/5
Very nice property
- 5/5
Good location. Check in went smoothly.
- 3/5
Our first night we got in super late had unpacked everything and went to lay down and there was a huge hole in one side of the bed!! very uncomfortable!! There was no way that had just happened and I’m sure people have complained before about it. Goodluck trying to get ahold of the manager to discuss the issue with her, after a week from my stay and me calling and leaving multiple messages she finally gave me a call for a refund.
- 5/5
No Bistro in the afternoon/evening.
- 4/5
The room was comfortable and clean.
- 5/5
We have stayed before and I have never had a bad experience. Staff is very friendly and helpful, rooms are very clean and spacious, several restaurants close by as well as Sams and HEB. I will definitely stay here again, I recommend it to my family and friends.
- 5/5
Good experience overall. Elevators were old and need updates.
- 5/5
The room was very nice, comfortable, and quiet. If I need to stay in Midland again, I will probably choose to stay here.
- 5/5
Good from check in to check out
- 5/5

Had a very pleasant experience. Friendly & professional staff. Rooms, grounds, everything was very clean. Beds were super comfortable and there were plenty of amenities!
- 5/5
Very clean, updated hotel. Friendly staff
- 4/5
all was good
- 4/5
We enjoyed our stay and the room was nicer than I had imagined. Only negative thing was there was a bar that was not opened due to what we were told was not enough employees to open it. The young lady that checked us in did say she could get us drinks if we wanted. I didn't think it would be fair to have the person running between the front desk and the bar.
- 4/5
I have been stayed at this property location several times and it appears the property need some minor repairs.
- 1/5
Booked this room & when I arrived, the hotel was unavailable due to water issue. I was booked a room at the Hampton Inn down the road and was promised a refund. Never received a refund or credit from Marriott.
- 4/5
Very convenient to everything.
- 4/5
Clean rooms. Older hotel. Nearby construction hampered access.
- 3/5
I liked the back of the property which was sussounded by all wall. Nice and quiet. I didn’t like that our room was 401. The first night was great but the second night a rain storm moved in. The roof of our room had been patched but leaked and filled two trash cans full of water. The hotel had numerous areas they were working on with apparent water damage. Not good.
- 4/5
The 4th floor room was good, but the hallway off the elevator was a disaster. The ceiling was leaking water and fallen through. Not good!
- 2/5
The front desk staff was hardly ever around. It always took forever to get help. The elevators didn't work so we had to use the stairs, and with all of our luggage it wasn't an easy task. We booked 4 rooms and there was no hot water in any of them so we had to take cold showers. All of this would've been nice to know BEFORE we got to the hotel.
- 1/5
First off had to wait at the front desk for like 10 minutes till somebody showed up when they went to check in also the bar had to wait for the bartender and somebody to take anybody's order another thing the elevator was not working the pool was disgusting and was not in service and we still got charged full price
- 2/5
I loved how the elevator was not working and had to go up and down 4 flights of stairs 😏
- 1/5
Was not told that there was no water
- 5/5
Amazing hotel and Staff. Great place.
- 5/5
Love this hotel!! We stay when we come to watch Midland College baseball!
- 4/5
Not the cleanest room I’ve ever stayed in, but the bed was comfortable and the black out drapes kept it dark in here for some much-needed rest.
- 5/5
Nice
- 3/5
When we needed another towel for our room we could not cll because the inroom phone did not work. I went to the front for the towel and to let them know the phone did not work. Staff did not seem to understand.
- 3/5
Not sure what the deal was but we could hear everything going on around us. I could hear people’s whole conversations while laying in the bed. The Hotel was in a good location it was just the small things like cheap accessories, shower pacing was tough, and cheap cable. For the price it was probably worth it but we would have paid more for the conveniences we expected.
- 4/5
Mattress needs to be replaced.
- 1/5
Did not offer a solution and would not give even their names ! Of course I expect my refund for this
- 5/5
Super clean and convenient! Friendly staff and accommodating.I arrived really really late from my flight in and the staff was super nice and welcoming even at 1am
