Alimuri Bay Resort

Nice hotel, loved the proximity to the water, breathtaking view. The private parking was very important to us, quick drive to Sorrento. The restaurant was good. Though parking was convenient, I was not thrilled about having to leave car keys with the front desk every time we came back to the hotel. Our bathroom ceiling had visible water damage, the bathtub was very high and not easy to get in and out of. The balcony was semi private with only a small divider with neighboring rooms. The hotel needs a lot of work, some areas are run down and not aesthetically pleasing, however, there were workers on site making improvements during our stay.

We reserved the hotel on booking as soon as we got there they didnt have a room for us. They wanted to put us across the street from the main hotel on top of a garage. Wirh no view small windons to the roof of a garage. I didnt accepted and they said for them to put us on the main bulding i had to pay more 250 euroa. Totaly scam. Horrible reception for who traveled 8 hours driving to get there. We end up paying cause we didnt have option. Never more and i dont recomend the hotel for anyone.

The outdoor pool area They were not accommodating. I never write reviews, but the fact that I feel I have to should tell you how disappointing my stay was. Let’s begin with check-in: upon arrival, the woman at the front desk wasn’t friendly—didn’t even say hello, just asked for my passport. When I finally got to my room, it looked absolutely nothing like what was displayed on Booking.com or online. The bathroom was tiny, old, and dirty. I had originally planned to celebrate my birthday here, and I couldn’t imagine being comfortable in that room, so I asked to be moved. They switched me to another room that was more spacious, but the bathroom was still terrible—outdated, dirty, and the tub didn’t even drain, so every shower turned into a small pool. Housekeeping also showed no respect for privacy; on multiple occasions, they walked into my room while I was inside, even after I had said “busy.” Breakfast was another disappointment—the bacon tasted like plastic, and I’ve had better food at a gas station. The only redeeming feature of this hotel was the outdoor poolside area. The only time I truly enjoyed myself was when I was away from the resort. The staff could not have cared less about whether I was enjoying my stay. When I raised my concerns, they were dismissive. Eventually, I was so disappointed and frustrated that I decided to move hotels altogether. This has never happened to me before, and I’ve traveled to several countries around the world. Without question, this was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. To make matters worse, they refused to refund the days I didn’t stay. I spoke to both the woman and gentleman at the front desk who told me, “It’s not our problem you aren’t enjoying your stay.” I also contacted Booking.com, but the resort rejected my refund request. I would never, ever stay at this resort again, and I am extremely disappointed in Booking.com as well. This was my first and last time booking through them.

The breakfast had a large selection of different types of food so as to appeal to anyone. They had a wide array of sweet breads, etc that would appeal to all. Eggs were scrambled or boiled. They had a juice machine but also brought out a pitcher of fresh squeezed orange juice daily! The hotel's view is amazing as is the pool area and there are several good restaurants within walking distance plus you are just a few miles from Sorrento where there are many choices. The staff here is wonderful and the parking area is gated and secure. I highly recommend this hotel! The only thing I did not like is that the restrooms are on the lowest level of the hotel on the 0 floor while the actual lobby entrance is on the 4th floor and the restaurant is on floor 1. Most of the meals are buffet although they do have a few single plate options from the buffet.

Ideal location great staff! Pool and beach superb! 30 minute free shuttles to and from Sorrento! Would definitely stay again! We were offered a sub- par room and when we pointed this out the management offered to correct the issue. We ended up with a great room.

The property is beautiful and right on the sea. A little further out so some tour companies don’t pick up at the hotel but the hotel has a shuttle. I would bot have changed for location as this hotel is beautiful.

The room view is amazing! I would definitely love to revisit!

The setting is beautiful and the staff were excellent. I feel it was quite expensive. The food and drinks in particular. A 400 ml beer cost €8 for example. The included breakfast was ok, plenty of options available. The lunch however was pretty poor. Luckily there are several excellent restaurants on the beachfront a quick walk from the hotel.

Superb property

Rooms, beach and entire hotel was beautiful . Free shuttle to sorrento Shuttle times could be more frequent and earlier in the evening. Shuttle service to train station would be also beneficial

The hotel point was amazing, the seaview from balcony of room was amazing every morning and sunset. Very clean hotel. The clean team are the best, what this hotel need to be appreciated is the cleanliness. The staff in reception wasnt very helpful for me. Also the lifeguard gave us used towels for the pool and the beach, when i return to give him the towels that he gave us, he told that the laundry give him that towels!! Also the man with glasses in the restaurant was very unrespected person, told me many words in italian language because we had misunderstanding for a case. He want to sit you where he wants, no where you want, he doesnt understand me that I was with infant and i told him that I need other table and was free but he choose to talk not anymore in english with me. He speaked italian many words but i didnt understand. He was nervous and unrespected for me my wife and my infant. You cannot drink a caffe in the morning because the restaurant start to work in 11am, the other restaurant that is for breakfast, doesnt have classic expresso. The reception just told us sorry. Also the other weitters just told us drink water rather than expresso!!

The location was good No water for half a day

The location exceeded my expectations, even if it is not a central hotel, maybe somebody looks after a hotel which is situated near the city center, but for us was important to have a relaxing view and near the beach, this was real beautiful, magnificent view of the mountains and sea simultaneously, the best! The few minor drawbacks didn’t matter compared to the warm hospitality of the host, the friendliness of the people, and the great location.

Positioned perfectly in Meta. There is a cute little pool with very comfortable sunbeds. Right below is a private beach with subeds and lifeguards on duty that are very very helpful. Staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms are very clean and spacious. No particular complaints

The location, the beach and the staff in the hotel The room was a bit “tired”, but probably because of the humid weather. Cleaning wasn’t that good, but also what you can expect in Italy

Nothing it was horrible. I now have a sinus infection from the air quality in the room I stayed in. The coffee was not good and the food was really bad.

It was absolutely amazing to experience the beauty of the amalfo coast there. It felt so authentic, it felt like being in in the real Italy without the crowds of the most popular areas of Positano and Sorrento, I absolutely loved it

the property was always super clean. the staff was exceptionally helpful and kind. huge shoutout out to valentina for making our stay even more memorable. The views from the rooms were breathtaking. the aesthetics of the inside were incredible. the bar manager ivan was also super kind and very attentive i never had to flag anyone down for another drink. nothing but amazing things to say about this hotel! location was slightly inconvenient, but it does make up with the free hotel shuttle to the main city center of sorrento
