Hotel Giosuè a mare

We LOVED staying here - there staff were amazing and so helpful and the view from the rooms and the property were just what we were looking for with this trip! We feel asleep to a cool breeze and the sound of the ocean and enjoy so many beautiful sunsets from our room and the hotel's lounge. We also ate their restaurant several nights and enjoyed every bite and my husband fell in love with their Limoncello Spritz! Their daily breakfast was wonderful and one day when we had a early tour, they even backed a "breakfast to-go" for us which truly hit the spot! The location is super convenient to catch a city bus into Sorrento or they offered a shuttle to the train station to take on of the trains into Sorrento or to Pompeii and Naples. Overall, a wonderful stay and experience!

Everything, the 4-Star service is real, great food, fully confortable room with amenities, the place is a paradise and people for the hotel so kind and willing to help, we loved it! NA

The seaside and view were beautiful A little secluded, and our room was too close to the noise. Charging for beach towels, chairs and umbrella are not cool.

Reasonable proximity to the city by car. Nearby mall/supermarket, cafe and an excellent restaurant. Excellent friendly staff and a good breakfast. The bed was really hard, but apparently this is a feature of Italian hotels?

The information was poor about the town being shut down for the season. It was reported that the sun chairs would be available during a certain period through September but it wasn't clearly communicated that there would be no beach access due to repairs made to the hotel deck. All restaurants in town were closed for the season. It would have been helpful for the hotel to let us know in advance of what to expect.

The hotel was very good! Execellent comodities , the hotel is 10 minutes from Sorrento but the hotel has a car service for free, this helps us so much . Also the hotel has a beautiful view.

Great hotel with beautiful view and very good staff. They even do courtesy shuttle to Sorrento downtown and back. Cannot beat the view and very well maintained. The rooms are large with beautiful balcony with sea view. In addition, they also serve breakfast and great selection. Had a very good experience.

Excellent location, access to beach stunning sunsets, the staff was very helpful with information we needed throughout the stay. Definitely will chose this place to stay again

It was a perfect getaway.. able to swim as we were sea front.. restaurant was amazing.. as was the breakfast buffet. The staff at front desk.. Maria was very helpful - she booked both of our tours..they had staff to drive you within a few miles of hotel.. very convenient- the staff by beach was fabulous as well. Nothing!!

The shower drain was clogged. We asked for cleaning but it didn’t worked. Taking a shower was really hard

We had a lovely stay here back in March 2025! Everything from the attentive service to the amenities exceeded our expectations. Our room was spotless upon arrival, with a stunning view of the beach and a spacious balcony-it was a perfect spot to relax. Anytime we needed assistance, the staff responded promptly and courteously. From beginning to end, the service was exceptional as the staff were extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We also enjoyed a few visits to the hotel's terrace bar for drinks and light bites, which were so delicious we found ourselves returning more than once. The service there was excellent. The breakfast buffet in the main restaurant downstairs was another highlight, offering a nice variety to start the day. While the location felt a bit tucked away, the hotel offered a complimentary shuttle to and from the Meta train station which made getting around very smooth. The hotel is situated in a peaceful & serene location if you're looking to get away from the crowds/unwind, but it still isn't very far from the main city of Sorrento. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and will be back! We did experience some minor flooding from the shower after use, as water seeped into the bedroom through small gaps in the walls. However, it was manageable and didn’t cause much of an issue.
