The host was exceptionally nice and hospitable despite the language barrier. She's very quick to respond to any messages or questions we have throughout our stay. The property comes with an exclusive panoramic view, and the location was perfect to explore Matera.

Best parts - 1. Beautiful room, recently renovated but gives a pretty classic vibe. 2. Communication with owners were so easy. I was not able to find couple of stuff and the owner's guided me thoroughly. I loved the experience. 3. The view - It is just beside the Duomo Di Piazza. From the balcony , almost entire Sassi and hill is visible. It is surreal at evening and dusk. 4. Location - If you are visiting Sassi and planning to check the caves , then this location is best. You can walk down from the main door of the house and then you reach to the main road directly. Normally the staircases are confusing, but if you just stick to the stairs adjacent to the house, you will reach the main road from where you will need to go down to the canyon. All together, it had been an awesome experience. Nothing as such.

location is good. the room is well appointed. there is a very nice terrace outside the room there is almost no natural light in the room. I found this claustrophobic, especially at night.

Was surprised to learn that a 'Bed & Breakfast" didn't provide breakfast. There was as coffee, however.

Location is excellent, highest place in town. Hostes gave good information of everything.

Very clean and comfortable. No breakfast option despite the name! No window hence no view as intimated in the advertising! Noisy neighbours. Not soundproof. Barking dogs every time a door slammed.

We loved the location. We parked in the new town and then it was just a 10 minute walk to the accomodation located in the Sassi (old town). Located very close to the Dumo, where there is one of the best lookouts over the Sassi - especially by night.

Excellent location . Very close to cathedral square & great viewpoints. Easy walking to all sites . 20 minute walk to the bus stand . Room was very comfortable & clean . Modern cave interior.Room was serviced & refreshed with clean towels & coffee on day 2. Host supplied coffee & coffee machine & paper cups . No mugs or glasses provided . No cutlery . No cloth to wipe counter.

I liked everything about this place, and can't wait to return. It's in a fantastic location, near the duomo. The owner's are very nice. I didn't want to leave.

very clean and well situated. staff was very warm and friendly. breakfast was good. awkward staircase in bedroom to kitchen. hosts should provide much clearer details on how to arrive at the b&b. a map or written instructions should be provided. it was very difficult to find.
