A big thank you to both Mohammed & Jamal they both were very helpful and kind

Beautiful riad in a great location in the medina with a nice plunge pool and a huge terrace. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. A few things to note. First, the pool has limited hours (10:00-18:00). Second, it is prohibited to drink alcohol in the riad. Third, there are major issues with water pressure in the rooms. At times, there was no water, which is difficult to manage in the Marrakech heat.

Very nice rooms. Welcomed with candles around the buthtub. The scent in the room was fab. Lovely breakfast and great welcoming service

This stay was amazing, highly recommend! The staff were so kind and couldn't do enough for you. Despite a (fantastic) very central location in Jeema el'fna the Riad felt very quiet, calm and safe. I would definitely recommend paying the €25 fee for someone to pick you up at the airport, and then a member of staff from the Riad to meet you at the taxi and walk you to the Riad, as it is a short walk from where cars can travel through a Souk into the Riad, so very easy to get lost! But once you have been shown the route it is then easy to navigate for the rest of your trip. 10/10 could not recommend this Riad enough!

This property is absolutely beautiful and the staff is extremely friendly and readily available. The breakfast is delicious and it is centrally located to many restaurants, souks, etc. The room was clean and as soon as you walk into the riad, it smells AMAZING! I would 100% stay here again. I don’t have anything I didn’t like, but I will note that the riad is located in Old Medina so you can’t be dropped off right at the property. There is about a 10 minute walk from the drop off to the riad but a member of the staff came to meet us to help with baggage. You can also rent a karosa which is a small cart to help transport the bags. We arrived late at night (2 am) which at first sight was a bit shocking because the streets were empty, but after exploring the first day with my friend, I felt comfortable enough to walk the streets alone in the morning to meet my hot air balloon driver. It’s important to remain diligent and safe, but I personally did not have any issues with feeling unsafe or scared. You will need to bring your own iron/steamer.

Fantastic experience ! Super friendly staff that go above and beyond for what you need. They are truly satisfied with the comfort of your stay. Clean and spacious rooms, delicious breakfast, and great vibes all around. Will stay here again when we come back ! Everything was great !

The staff. The Riad is beautiful on it’s own of course, just like the pictures, but the most amazing part of this place were the staff. One staff member brought in oils made on his farm outside of the city and every staff member made us feel at home and very cared for. Also, it is located on a side street but only a two minute walk away from markets! Would recommend this Riad to anyone! The bed is a bit hard for my taste however my husband was happy with it. I grabbed an extra blanket and slept on top of it and was very happy.

Great location. Hardly a few minutes walk to the souks. 7-10 minutes to the Jemaa El-fnaa square. Beautiful property, similar to the pictures. Nothing major. The morning we had to leave early, we had to wait for breakfast because the woman/chef hadn't arrived yet. The guy arranged some coffee and snacks. Not their fault but yeah might not happen with you maybe.

The staff at the accommodation was excellent, friendly and welcoming. They waited for us at a meeting point at the medina (and we were late). In addition to that, they offered very good recommendations and helped book museums and hammam. Whenever we would come back from the city someone would come and ask how the day went and if there's something that we need. Not to say about the sweet dog, Selfie. Breakfast was good, typical Moroccan and the riad is very well taken care of, our room was cleaned daily. It's an oasis of peace and relaxation, located just inside the medina. We'd like to thank Hicham and all the staff for making our stay in Marrakesh memorable.

My sister and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Dar Aurora. The room is unique, beautiful, clean and the bed was so comfy we both slept well. Also the staff were gracious and kind, especially Nasser he was so friendly and made us feel at home. The entrance to the riad is a little tricky to find with no signage, but once you know where it is. It was in an ideal spot in medina, just a walkin distance to jamaa el fna and not far at all from many restaurants. Overall, it was such a beautiful riad, very quite and peaceful. The atmosphere was exceeding all expectations. We loved the place Everything was just perfect!

Absolutely adorable little riad/dar in the heart of the Medina. Great location for heading out to shop and photograph different locations in old town Marrakech. This is just a ten-minute walk to the main square where you can get a taxi to the airport or other surrounding areas. The owner, Alvaro, is incredibly nice and helpful. He really saved our butts when we got into the wrong transfer car leaving for the airport and was there to help us contact the driver and correct the ride mishap. He helped us get laundry done, gave us all the recommendations we needed for shopping, and really made us feel welcomed and like family despite our being a total hassle! We felt so bad that we had to change our transfer times arriving and leaving a few times, but he helped us regardless and is an absolute saint for that. When we arrived, we were exhausted, and his friendly staff set up a dinner reservation spot for us in the best place we ate on our whole trip (L'mida). It was really so nice to have help with everything because Morocco is tough to navigate! He has the CUTEST little dog that hangs around the Dar with everyone and loves all the cuddles. We loved the decor and peacefulness that this place offers. This really is a SANCTUARY in comparison to the bustling streets of the medina and Marrakech. The wifi didn't work in our room, only in the common areas. This just made it hard to get anything done for travel bookings without having to sit out in the common area, which is beautiful anyways. Beds are not very soft, but AC/heat is available in each room which is a plus.

Alvaro was the perfect host. He arranged a driver to pick us up from the airport and he sent a person from his staff to escort us from Jemaa al-fna. it’s about a 7min walk from the market through the souk with lots of nice shopping. the riad is so beautiful all down to the details that Alvaro has placed in the decor. the breakfast was so thoughtful and delicious. we wish we had more time to stay at Dar Aurora. wi-fi doesn’t really work upstairs so get yourself some internet from the market.
