Best Western Lexington Inn

The bed was comfortable. The pool was finally open on my way back thru buy not on my way to my destination. The sausage gravy breakfast was good. Coffee was good. Staff was polite. My room was dirty the second time I stayed with a sucker stick stuck to the end table and gravel and dirt under the air conditioning unit both times I stayed and happened to get the same room. Fridge handle was dirlty. Feel I should have been given a discount for the pool not functioning. Apparently its a frequent issue at this hotel.

The white powder sprinkled around the wall and headboard was troubling.

When checking in Walter was very friendly and helpful. The lady in the kitchen prepping food was very nice and attentive. When checking out of our room we found a dead bettle which means the room was not cleaned or checked before we arrived we had friends in other rooms who stated the shower had pubic hair all over

The bathroom door hit the toilet half way open. Furniture in room well worn should be replaced.

We walked in and was surprised to see every room’s door was open. We noticed a huge water stain in the drop ceiling. Our room smelled moldy and the scent of weed. I called hotels.com and asked how can I cancel and get a refund. I was told to tell the front desk I needed to leave and hotels.com would be calling. I told the front desk I cannot stay there because of the mold. The owner/manager said that I didn’t tell the front desk the reason I was leaving so he refused to give me a refund. I am warning everyone the place is a mess.

For a Best Western this is actually not the best hotel. Hey, it’s right behind the strip club so if you get bored, you know what I’m saying. The back entrance is not recommended. Mostly the location in the price of the room it’s ridiculous

Loved the location. Very quiet room. Staff was friendly and efficient. The room was humid. The bathroom was ridiculously small. The bathroom door and toilet practically touched making it hard to move around. Water pressure in the shower was low. The bath towels were paper thin.

Had a problem where toilet would not flush, and water was leaking from the base of the toilet. Was told it would be fixed by the time we got home for the day (about a 7 hour window), came back to the solution being a towel was put around the toilet, and dirty shoe marks covered the flooring in the bathroom from whom ever did that. Toilet did not flush still. Had to call again at almost midnight for someone to finally come get it to flush. Then, we noticed there are ants. Everywhere. Found multiple in our bed, and lines of them going to any type of potential food like an opened bag of chips. Property and rooms were also not very clean. While the staff was very nice, this best western is seriously lacking compared to others.

Arrived after 10pm and was initially given a room that was not ready. The dirty towels were still on the floor and the dirty bed sheets were in pile. Returned to the lobby and was given a different room that was fine. The bathrooms are extremely small. Overall a good experience.

Maintain the pool better as it was closed twice and they could offer to take out the trash whether they clean the room or not, just knock to see if trash needs emptied. Not emptying trash.

I chose this best Western because of the indoor pool. When we checked in we were told there was an electrical issue with the pool and it was unusable. The manager on duty apologized but my grandchildren were very upset! I feel Expedia should have known this and that I am due a refund at least in part! I would NEVER have booked this hotel if I had known this!
