    On the walk to the room, the hallway smelled strongly of cat urine. The room itself was clearly unfinished — no artwork on the walls, minimal lighting, and stained bedding and curtains. There were bugs flying around the ceiling that appeared to be mosquitoes. The room also had a noticeable odor. It was completely uninhabitable. My husband and I ended up sleeping in our car rather than staying in that room. I requested to speak with a manager before leaving. I was told one would call me the following morning. No call ever came. I called back two days later and was told the manager — Yusuf — would return my call. Again, nothing. When I called a third time from my home state, I was asked if I had booked through a third party. When I said yes, the staff member put me on hold, came back, and told me to "deal with the third party." When I asked why the manager had never called me back, she said her supervisor told her to direct me to the third party — and then she hung up on me. This is an appalling failure on every level: the room, the cleanliness, the safety, and the customer service. Hanging up on a guest who has a legitimate complaint is unacceptable

    It's really nice. It's a great area, and the entire staff is very friendly. They make you feel very welcome from the moment you arrive The rooms are not serviced every day, so the staff should be more attentive when guests need towels or other necessities. In my case, my room was not cleaned for three consecutive days. I called several times to request service, but no one ever came. This is something that needs more attention and improvement.

    The stay did not meet my expectations. When my son and I arrived at 9 PM, the front desk was closed, and we waited nearly two hours for the next employee to arrive. I was first given a room that was already occupied, and my key had to be reactivated multiple times. The water in the shower was extremely hot, making it difficult to bathe safely. The elevator was also out of service for several days. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had.

    The floor of the shower was extremely slippery, and dangerous! When I stayed at a Marriott in Lake Jackson, Texas with the same type of slippery shower floor, the manager apologized and told me that the house keeping personnel had forgotten to leave a rubber bath mat in the room when it was cleaned. When I reported that there was no rubber bath mat provided at the Marriott in Lewisville, Texas, I was told thot no rubber bath mats were provided at the Lewisville Marriott. After I reiterated that the shower floor was entirely too slippery, I insisted that the hotel give me an extra bath towel to place in the bottom of the shower floor. This is an accident just waiting to happen!

    Room was great! Staff was great! The bar was kind of sad. They had very little to drink and not very many options. I couldn't believe in the morning there wasn't a hot breakfast and the young man said I had to buy my mother a coffee. They double charged me at the bar the night before. I had two 83 dollar charges, instead of 1. Both printers in the business area wouldn't print. One said it was sleeping, even after i unplugged it twice. The second printer needed toner. Great facility, but not stocked up on things needed.

    The 2 queen room we reserved was not available when we arrived. The staff offered a 1 king room instead. It was late and we were tired, so we agreed. The front desk was only supposed to charge my card $0.54; however, they incorrectly charged $90 to my card (above the $102.46 we paid through the hotels.com app. The rate advertised was $89/night). We went to unload our luggage and the hotel had no luggage carts. Walking to our room, the marijuana smoke was so thick, it was difficult to breathe and I started feeling the effects of the drug in the air. The room itself was not clean. It was well below any standard of cleanliness. Among other things, there were chips strewn across the floor. There was pubic hair on the toilet. The marijuana smoke was as thick in the room as it was in the hall. It appeared as though someone had been using that room to smoke and eat just before we arrived. My kids and I returned to the front desk to cancel and request a refund, but the front desk person didn’t know how to process this. They were unable to provide any documentation supporting that both charges were refunded. I eventually left with nothing but their word that the $192.46 total we paid for the wrong room (which was advertised as $89/night), would be returned. I sat in the parking lot until the effects of the 2nd hand marijuana smoke wore off and I could safely drive to another hotel.

    I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels in the past but this was by far the best to stay I’ve experienced. From the front desk to start off they were excellent and extremely smooth with the service. I had no issues. Moving onto the room the room was completely spotless and full of amenities. The staff was very friendly and the hotel overall was a great experience. I will no doubt be visiting again.

    It seemed like my room may not have been cleaned thoroughly or perhaps it was done in a rush. There were hairs in the shower and a noticeable stain on the vanity from what appeared to be a brown liquid. Additionally, the toilet required holding down the handle for an extended period to get it to flush properly. Another issue I encountered was the lack of hand soap in the bathroom. When I tried to use the hotel room phone to contact the front desk and request some, I discovered that the cord connecting the phone to the wall was missing, leaving me with just the handset. I eventually went down to the front desk where the young lady was very polite and apologetic about the phone and the missing hand soap.

    The property was a bit older, but it has been taken over by new management and they are planning improvements. The staff was cordial overall, a maintenance guy was very friendly and responsive, and when I did have some problems that might have ruined my trip, the manager went far out of her way to make everything right. Very professional treatment.

    The Hotel was very clean and a cleaning staff was available at all times. My only issue was the TV in the room I had didn't work the entire time. I didn't bother about it ,because I was only in the room long enough to sleep. Another issue is the parking lot of the hotel needs to be larger especially because you have to pay for parking daily.

    We checked in and the staff was great, once we got to our room it was extremely hot and would not cool down for our whole stay. I checked the bed as I always do, no bugs thank goodness but there was black specks on the bed but were easily removed. We knew breakfast was not included with our stay but we ordered a breakfast bowl and 3 French toast and they were all made incorrectly and it cost $70. We were also charged $40 for the two nights we stayed, after we payed for our stay already and the I got a receipt at the end of the stay and we were charged for parking both days, with tax on each. We also had no room cleaning during our stay, someone had came in because the toilet paper rolls were taken off the holders and put in the corner of the bathroom, but the bed was not made and no clean towels. Also we could not stream on the tv, there was an option but it would not let us go to Netflix or even rent a movie, we only had basic channels. Overall it was not a great stay, we had already spent the money and it was nonrefundable so getting another hotel was not an option. For how much the hotel was I don’t recommend staying at this location.

    The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. You can order a quick breakfast with Starbucks coffee available. The is also a little market for quick snacks/drinks, or other convenience items. The negatives were only 3 sets of towels were available for our 4-person group. The adjoining room had screaming children who woke us up. The air quality was bad walking down the hall due to marijuana smoke.

    Hotel was okay, they did not have a cart to load my luggage in to take up to the room so we had to carry it all upstairs. Just made it a little more difficult to carry and then when leaving. Overall was a safe place to stay in a good area. Did not get chance to use the restaurant. Water from shower had a smell to it.

    Unfortunately, there was a terrible leak from the ceiling in my room. It dripped in the bed my son was in all night, to which I believe resulted, from a storm. When I informed the front desk, they didn’t offer to move us or some type of compensation for the inconvenience. This hotel should not be able to wear the brand name Marriott. The front desk clerk which happened to be an old disgruntled man was rude and unwelcoming. Never again.

    My stay was ok but the front desk worker was EXTREMELY RUDE to the person in front of me. I wanted to cancel my stay but I couldn't locate another hotel with vacancies in the area. I'm not sure what is name was but he was screaming at the person in front of me. The time was 12:30am on May 4th, 2024. The guy in front of me told him that he had paid for the incidental in advance. The man behind the counter called him a liar, told him to find another hotel for the night. He was screaming at a 10. I felt so uncomfortable and sorry for the man in front of me. I felt like it was completely unacceptable and unnecessary. I view Courtyard in a very dim light now. He disrespected the guest to the point where I was embarrassed for him. The customer just held his head down as to say, "Ok sir, you win". Please, please do better with front desk works. I'm not sure if I will ever stay at a Marriott property again😥

    A bit run down overall, guest dryer didnt work well, shower in room had a drip from the shower head that was fairly loud and led to mold.

    Jarred was amazing he made sure my stay was perfect. I picked this hotel mainly because of the outdoor fireplace and when I checked in the first attendant lied and said no it don’t work…. So I was disappointed, me and my friends went out to meow wolf and had a blast. We get back to the hotel and I decide to ask the new attendant (jarred) if we could use the outdoor fireplace and he said no problem and fired it right up no problem. Jarred is the man and I hope he is there next time I come through
