The Jayakarta Bali

You get exactly what you paid for. Its an older style resort that you can stay in at a budget price. The rooms are a little outdated however they are clean, beds comfy and the showers is ok. The pool area has 3 pools and you always get a sun lounger and the location is great for walks along the beach front. Gardens are beautiful and the staff very friendly and efficient. Buffet breakfast is also good value. Nothing I got exactly what I expected.

the location of the hotel was great, have stayed there many times. Breakfast was pretty good with variety changed in the indonesian food daily. the rooms themselves are dated and need a little updating, lukewarm water only even after requesting to have this looked at, slippery tiles around the pool is a concern.

The room was very old, loud music playing until 10pm, holes in bed sheets, dirty lounge chairs. We left after 20 minutes of arriving.

They could utilise the area that is raised and closest the beach for even more pool chairs for people who don't want to be right next to all the noise of the pool, but still enjoy what it's got to offer.

Great staff, fantastic location and generally good value for money. Rooms are comfortable and the pool area is always lively. The traditional gardens and architecture are stunning, however most rooms are in need of renovation. Overall, as we only really sleep in our rooms it’s a great venue with good value.

ROOMS COULD BE UPDATED A LITTLE

The location is great. Very central to Legian & Seminyak beaches and shopping. Beach right out side the gate of the propertyt. We originally booked the 1 bedroom suite, thinking it would be premium. It was horrible. It was clean but so dark, tucked away in a random building and felt like a cave. Horrible, we changed to a garden view and it was alot better. The bathrooms need a major overhaul. The shower head was horrible and leaked water all over the bathroom.

The facilities were excellent The traffic and the continual hassling from sales people

Having three large pools made it easy to find free chairs/lounges, plenty to accommodate the guests. Perfect location within walking distance to restaurants, shopping and straight across from the beach. Couldn't fault the breakfast, it was wonderful. The omlette's were delicious. The rooms are quite outdated, comfortable but requiring attention.

Central Location. Nice pool. Gardens nicely kept. Gave me the wrong room but changed me when I complained. Staff went above and beyond after that ..

Slippery pool tiles

The main area around the pool was nice and had a great vibe with the restaurants and facilities. We were originally placed in a room right next to the busy road. We could hear everything. The bed was so uncomfortable that we couldn't sleep the next night we asked to change rooms but wasn't any better. It was slightly more quiet but smelt of mold so we ended up leaving

Manicured gardens, great room sizes, bathrooms are a good size, and the hotel is in such a perfect location right on the beach, with 3 fabulous pools with a swim up bar and music. The staff are awesome and so helpful. Also right outside the hotel are great massage places, eateries and shops, including Fat Buddha who have an amazing Teppanyaki experience ! The only thing I think could be improved is the lighting in the bathroom - its quite dark

Old hotel.not secured.had a incident while we were on the hotel.one of the girl fell from the hotel balcony while leaning to old wood balcony and hurt so badly.heard she was drunk too.do not know real story.due big renovation.

Amazing location, great facilities, interconnected rooms great for families, breakfast buffet was excellent, easy to book, good value for money. This spot is pretty central to everything in Legian… also easy to walk up to Seminyak or down to Kuta, or easy taxi around. It’s not fancy but not grubby either, just the comfortable middle spot. I’ve been twice, will be back again for a birthday party and will be back again other times too. My teenagers loved the place too, it’s a great vibe there. Not much to fault as I’m not one with high expectations and I’m a pretty low maintenance person. I do read on social media that some people complain about the place being outdated, but so what! Yes while it’s not exactly modern it’s actually very very comfortable and laid back, this is Bali after all. If you want something more posh, go to boring Nusa Dua lol.

The Pool Bar This was full of kids a lot of the time and for 2 adults to swim up and have a quiet drink was Impossible to have...A Pool bar is for Adults not children and was dissapointing.

Our kitchenette Apartment was the perfect size for two twn beds. The location was excellent for exploring restaurants and shopping. The staff was more than helpful and they provided bottled water everyday when they cleaned. We stayed in the apartments which is separate from main lodgings - unit 6116. The are all individually owned and different finishes. I booked thru booking.com. Reserved a kitchenette for our 1.5 week stay however stove did not work and refrigerator was a mini bar. Was hoping to do meals in unit to reduce costs, good news breakfast was included. Additionally only one chair in unit. Kinda strange. We brought the outside furniture into living room for more seating and problem was solved.

BALI IS EXPENSIVE

Close to everything, lovely pools. Good breakfast choices. Rooms could do with a little face lift.
