Degraded significantly since 2024 The door cards weren’t working properly. Had to go to reception 4 times to get them to fix the cards ( very frustrating). Had two days with no running water. Then there was no hot water. The once brilliant breakfast was sadly poor. Less food. The food was cold. Less selection.

Our room was near the front of the hotel so you could hear the music from the bars across the road.

Great location. Fabulous rooms. Close to the beach. Great breakfast. The room was quiet and very comfortable. We stayed for a week and enjoyed it.

We stayed in a Garden Terrace room on ground level which we were very happy with. It was quiet and the gardens beautiful. We were happy not having to climb stairs. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They asked us questions and had conversations with us. The pools and restaurants were great! We enjoyed the delicious buffet breakfast, and service around the pool for food and drinks was very good. The hotel is located in a fantastic spot, near many restaurants and easy access to the beach. The pools need more banana lounges as they were sometimes hard to get.

We were in the room behind the staff room, it was facing the Jayakarta, and every night we were awake untill 11 pm with the sound of the music from the FAT BUDDAH, unfortunately the hotel was quite full, so by the time a room became available for us to move, it was too late we only had 2 more nights left. So we decided not to move. We will definitely come back to Camakila as it is the best place for us to stay, and we love the staff., but will pick a room closer to the beach next time :) Just the noise from Fat Buddah

The breakfast was great and so is the location right on the beach. The kids loved the big pool. Great for families. They double charged our room, even after I stated that I was sure I already paid online. Now, 2 weeks later, still waiting for the refund. One of our rooms had a horrible smell in the bathroom. They were very friendly by giving us drink vouchers to make up for it. When we left the manager kept pushing me to leave a good google review and basically stood beside me to see if I actually did. That was a bit too much for me.
