From my family who stayed over the weekend: I have never stayed at a hotel like this before. When we first arrived and entered Room 315, there was a strong odor that smelled like sewage or feces. We tried using air freshener, but it did not help at all. The entire property appears to be in desperate need of updates and renovations. We decided to visit the pool, only to find ants all around the pool area. They were crawling on my legs and feet, and the pool water itself looked dirty and uninviting, so I chose not to get in. To make matters worse, we had driven five hours to get to this hotel, expecting a relaxing stay. Unfortunately, many of the guests appeared to be under the influence of drugs, and there were unpleasant odors in the hallways and common areas. We later learned that the hotel was not very busy during our stay, which made us question the overall condition and management of the property. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The hotel should seriously consider closing temporarily for extensive remodeling and improvements. I am extremely disappointed with our stay and truly wish I could receive a full refund.

Mr. Stanley was always present and Miss Marie or something went wrong. They made sure they fixed it very caring and understanding and love to help you get a good price and have a good day.

We stayed here last year and it was ok. This year nothing has changed, except our room was on the 3rd floor so we had to ride the rickety elevator a lot. Breakfast was not good. We walked next door to the Cracker Barrel instead.

The front desk staff is always so courteous and so professional. The housekeeping always make sure everything smells good and looks good. It's always very quiet and easy to rest after a long day. We had to stay here due to homeless reasons and will be leaving soon but if I could stay here permanently I would in a heartbeat. The only thing I would suggest is maybe adding some instant packs of grits to the breakfast other than that no complaints

Breakfast. Even though my husband was harassed by housekeeping because he didn’t bring his “ticket.” He told her 4 separate times the name and room number and had to end up stepping away from his food and going to the front desk to situate it. The property was okay. It could’ve been in better shape and a little cleaner. It wasn’t bad though. We were told that there was no pet fee. We get there and they tried to charge us 40 dollars. I called the mainline before I booked and was told that there was not one unless they required accommodations and on the booking site under questions asked it was stated that there was no pet fee.

But I don't think I will come back because of their breakfast rules. I have to dogs that I travel with. And don't like the idea that we can't have breakfast in our room. So I had to spend more money for breakfast. It makes it easier for us to eat in our room because we have our dogs

the bed was super comfy. the shampoo and conditioner provided are really nice. the a/c is super loud. but it does keep the room very cold.

The staff was friendly. And things were clean. but the facility felt run down. The elevator door was slow and loud when opening and closing. The breakfast felt very skimpy. And the first hotel, that I had to bring a slip to the breakfast so we could get breakfast. It needed updated locks for rooms. I kept accidently demagnetizing the keys, because my purse and wallet had magnets to close things with. (most women have some kind of magnet on purse or bags).
