Central location. Every thing was worth the money

  • Engine customer May 2026

Location is great Facilities are adequate Cleanliness Our room was too far from the main street and reception. Every time we had to step out it would take us 10 mins just to come out of the resort

  • Engine customer May 2026

Lovely clean pools. Nice choice for breakfast. Excellent staff Very hard & lumpy pillows, on request staff replaced them. Very Hard bed mattress. Bedroom bathroom looking a little shabby could do with an update.

Location was fantastic Linen service and restaurant

All of the staff were absolutely lovely, so friendly and happy. All 3 of our rooms were all good sizes. The sea view room had a great view. Our pool access rooms were great except one was blocked by a massive bush and we couldn't really see the pool but that did make it a lot more private. We got late checkout at 6pm (bit pricey at $90 I thought) and they accommodated us with cars to the airport (at a cost). Plus we also checked in early without any charge. Daily room cleaning was nice. Location was great, close to shops and restaurants and right on the beach. Had a bonus of 25% off at the spa which was a nice touch. We only tried 2 of the 3 pools and they were both great. Unfortunately, didn't get to try the one with the swim up bar but the other 2 had pool side bars anyway. The air conditioner in 2 of our rooms worked perfectly. Enjoyed dinner and a show at a very reasonable price. Room service was delicious and also very reasonable. The Koi fish were another added little treat. It was great having breakfast available every morning. Also laundry service was a great bonus to have on site. I could put this in the what I didn't like section BUT I thought it was so hilarious because we were joking about doing it the day before and its not the resorts fault... Someone, presumably children, rang all the doorbells on our floor as they ran past at 2.30am... also there were a lot of fireworks until late at night on the beach which when we could see them were cool but not so much when we were trying to sleep. All in all we would definitely stay again but please please please Truntum for the sake of your patrons change those chairs... also 1 of our rooms had a little clothesline in the shower which was great. The two poolsides didnt which was not helpful and explains why people were hanging clothes out windows and on outside chairs. Reception and service staff around the site were professional and lovely... excluding the day spa. Attention to detail in the rooms could have been a bit better, eg. no hand wash supplied and hand towels not supplied until 2nd day, room service took our glasses and didn't replace... Not the end of the world just inconvenient. Laundry service communication could have been better. Really really loud air conditioner unit outside our room from a different room going all night was extremely loud, vibrating our windows and kept us awake 1 night. People above scraping chairs woke us one night a good 15 times. I read about the chairs on a few other reviews and thought it would have been fixed, They really need to replace the chairs. Pool with swim up bar we did not use as it was filled with kids most of the time, The other pools were a lot quieter and the sunset pool was lovely to just watch the ocean (what bits you could see past the umbrellas) and watch the passersby. People leaving big inflatable pool toys around the big pool was a little unsightly but not as unsightly as people hanging their clothes out of their windows. One of our rooms that was up high in the 2nd building was awoken every day by a Rooster which went from 3am. We also heard it on ground floor but not to the point of waking us up (luckily we are early risers anyway). Spa staff out spruking spa treatments did get a bit annoying and unprofessional and was almost like sitting across at the beach bars (especially the one sitting there every morning at breakfast). The young lady who did my foot massage was lovely but the spa itself was not a pleasure to be in. Extremely hot, hotter than outside, and when I asked for a fan I got a piece of cardboard, Flies buzzing around us, receptionist talking extremely loudly on the phone to someone who was obviously not a guest, another guest sitting there with her phone fully turned up watching videos and a horrible woman who was obviously a druggo walking around the spa smoking and swearing (and saw her at breakfast buffet walking around smoking)

Location was spot on, close to the beach and the swim up bar was amazing. Being able to have inter connecting rooms a bonus Breakfast was very average for a Buffett, not a great selection of food. Restaurant around the infinity pool was a poor. Meals forgotten Laundry service not recommended. Clothing came back damaged and when feedback was given they said it was already like that, wouldn’t take responsibility.

Great pool. Rooms were a good size and clean. Service was very good Small bathroom and the door to the pool kept getting jammed with the curtain.

    All good

The room was comfortable and clean, and it had everything we needed. The staff were great, approachable, and friendly. We used the spa and had a massage; the spa had lots of options. Convenient to the airport. Some of the breakfast items were a little cold, and I would like to see more Indonesian and Balinese food options, but I guess they are trying to cater for all nationalities. I am not really a fan of Kuta, but that has nothing to do with this hotel. The hotel was great.

  • Engine customer Apr 2026

Very nice location with direct access to the beach The hotel complex is very nice with three swimming pools. Breakfast buffet was very good and very compleet. The vendors with "service" along the beach, they are very agressive

  • Engine customer Apr 2026

Good location and friendly staff The swimming pool and bar that closes so early on a weekend

  • Engine customer Apr 2026

Good breakfast - quiet room, loved the pool bar. Close to shopping/restaurants Kuta is quiet on streets

  • Engine customer Apr 2026

The property was resort like there’s a new side and the old side we happen to be on the new side. There are three pools. The food is very good. It’s a large property which can kind of be confusing. It took me three days to actually be able to find my room without getting lost or asking for help lol it was always clean pools close early like 7 PM and the property itself is serene and peaceful. The street outside is very busy. You’re right in the mix of it all for shopping and eating spas and massaging. The PROPERTY is also kid friendly, but I would think if you’re a busy KUTA you may not have the little ones with you anyway only the set up of the rooms have they number them but hey, you’re in a different. I’m sure you would deal with it. I got lost several times trying to find my room but once you get it, it makes sense..

The Bali wing Deluxe Grand pool room and location to swim up bar, restaurant, breakfast & beach is a better pick. Next time we will book a Deluxe Grand Pool room not just a Deluxe Pool room. Also, excellent service from Arta (waiter breakfast / pool area) - great person who deserves to be recognised - thanks Arta, you made our stay memorable and personalised. Not enough tables/chairs at breakfast to service such a full hotel. 6:30-7:00 was the only time able to get a table/seat. Also, arrived at 9am knowing we could not check in until 3pm, to improve this checkout time should be 10 or 11am not 12pm allowing for travelers to check in earlier.

Great location on the beach and walking distance to many restaurants, stores, and shopping. Highly recommended. Although we didn't have the opportunity to take advantage of the tours and sightseeing activities offered, I would still say they are great and yes, very reasonably priced for the exceptional service and staff and amenities offered. Thank you to the very special staff. ???

The staff were extremely kind, helpful & informative , a warm and family feeling place to stay. When I return to Bali I would be honored to stay at the “Truntum Kuta” again. Thank you, Katherine, Koler

We had poolside room which was lovely. Restaurants were nice with ocean views. Helpful, friendly staff. Too many smokers. Smoking should be banned from swim up bar.
