I have stayed here before. Location is great! Hotel is good but needs better pillows. Wasn’t able to get WIFI working but it’s still a good place to stay. Strange odor in the elevator.

The shower was extremely slick and I slipped and fell. The shower curtain caught my fall. I was hesitate for my 76 year old mom to shower. We had to put a hand towel in the bathtub to allow for some traction.

The staff was very friendly The rooms and hallways stunk, the beds were very uncomfortable and broken down, I wanted to use the hot tub but it was very dirty the water was green and had leaves in it.

I’m gonna start by saying that the staff in the front was good. But yet again I’ve been bamboozled by Hotels.com and Expedia into thinking I was going into a 9/10 experience. I wish they would fix this. Not only did I not receive the room on the picture. But all the halls smell like smoke and horrible food. Key card for room didn’t work after trying so hard to reprogram and the room smelled like raid and AC didn’t work 100%. Again I hope Expedia and Hotels.com fix this issue and start verifying reviews.

Breakfast was a muffin and coffee. It was terrible! I will never ever stay at an Extended Stay ever in my life again. There was no one to check me in, I waited for 20 minutes for someone to be available to check me in. The hotel smelled like marijuana and the bedding all smelled like humidity. I only stayed one night and not the two nights I paid for. Furthermore, I only stayed one night because we were in the middle of a snow storm and it was risky to just get up and go find another hotel. I also didn’t like that I was charged 17% tax for no particular reason! The room was gross, the blankets and pillows smelled, there was no shampoo, no conditioner, no extra blankets in the room. I have never been so disappointed with a room. I overpaid for the room.

N/A It stinks, my air condition didn’t work. My toilet didn’t work. Beds uncomfortable, stains on the mattress, Roaches, ice machine broken. exhaust fan from the restroom didn’t work. all that was for breakfast was just the muffin and my Stanley cup got stolen.

When i was looking for a hotel with breakfast included i was expecting eggs some kind of meat or waffles or cereal but no just small muffins and cant eat neither one because allergic to one and diabetic so no chocolate. Oh and the halls smell horrible lik.

Clean and accessible from all sides. No dislikes.

First off the location was a good pick. No highway noise. Property was clean upon arrival. Walking through the main entry was refreshing did not have bad aroma and the staff was friendly and patient. Also love that it has pool and exercise room and laundry machines to wash as you need. No discrepancies.

Didn't know that it was a FEMA living facility. Wouldn't supply coffee, paper towels or change the sheets. Tub plug didn't work, phone didn't work. Too noisy.

The hospitality was great, and the cleanliness was excellent. The atmosphere was very quiet and relaxing. The only negative was that the plates, cups, silverware, and coffee pot had all been removed from the room, which was a bit inconvenient.

Paint chipping of walls and dirt marks all over doors. There was never anyone visible at the front desk. Pluses, It is across from a hospital and convenient to town, also had good water pressure in the shower. Definitely overpaid for conditions we stayed in.

DO NOT STAY HERE. The internet was down when we arrived so we couldn't check in right away. The front desk employee was incredibly nice and got us checked in as much as she could while waiting for the internet to come back up. Texas issues a paper license when you get transfer or renew your license and they almost didn't accept mine, which is weird since that is the procedure in Texas. The biggest reason I chose this hotel was the pool. Guess what was closed??? Why is that not in the hotel listing??? The first room we went to had someone's coffee and snacks in it. We were moved to another room but it only had one bed. The third room was ok until we went in the bathroom and someone had used it, leaving urine on the seat and floor and toilet paper in the toilet. Finally, the fourth room was clean until we woke up the next morning to roaches crawling everywhere. In the tub, sink, fridge, and yes... our stuff. The air conditioner was falling apart and rattled, which at least helped muffle the sound of the people moving around on the floor above. I have always had a good experience at Extended Stay but I don't know if I will ever stay at another one. I have no idea how this hotel had such a good rating.

Some of the stuff were perfect angels, very professional & attentive to their guests while other staff and the hospitality crew were giving some of the guests nasty looks and speaking other languages talking about them.

When we asked for 2 extra towels, we were asked, "why, don't you have any in your room?" and were reluctantly given 2 more(with stripes). Stayed 2 nights and never had our room serviced. We collected our garbage and put it outside our room Saturday morning. It was there on Sunday. One wash cloth was all that was in the room.

Did not eat breakfast. The kitchen could at least be stocked with some dishes. I asked the 1st night and I received a plate, mug and two juice glasses. The next day I asked and I received another plate, a spoon, a drinking glass and a plastic fork. There is a dishwasher but no hint of soap for dishes or dishwasher. And who charges for WiFi anyway? That’s ridiculous.

It was ok. Room cleaning was supposed to happen day 7, someone finally showed up on day 8. During the snowstorm and was working from home that day....no housekeeper spoke English was finally able to get towels changed out with google translate. Put king size beds in some of the rooms, queen is small and uncomfortable. This motel is not set up for long term, no dishes, pots, pans, coffee pot, ect are in the rooms , although the website says they are furnished. Our refrigerator had to be changed out so we ended up with no ice maker.

Very nice and clean and safe. Quiet neighborhood near medical facilities. Dog friendly. Has a kitchen. The only thing I didn’t like was the vending machine was out of bottled water so just bring your own and you’re all set.

The hotel room and front desk were very nice. However, I was unable to sleep the night before my surgery because the noise from the laundry facility was so loud. I heard every time the washer changed cycles or spun the cloths out all night long/ every night. No rest before my surgery or the nights my wife remained at the hotel until I left the hospital. Not what we had hoped for.

If your looking for a clean one night stay for cheap this hotel is it. The hotel was very clean and staff was very friendly. The bed was horrible. Couldn’t move without it making lots of noise. Springs was beyond wore out and it sunk in the middle. Definitely needed to be replaced. Comforter was also stained up. No hot water, at best it was luke warm if that. No coffee pot or hair dryer in room. They are provided if you ask. Not sure if coffee is provided for rooms. You can get some at breakfast. Breakfast is a grab and go with muffins and some oatmeal you can fix but no hot water to use. Area was safe and tucked off of main road at a dead end around healthcare places.

The property is old and dated. Except for trash in the trash can, the room was clean. Bed was comfortable but sheets were pretty worn. We booked, and were charged, for a room with 2 beds and were given a room with one bed. The property is in a quiet area, which was nice. We did enjoy the full sized fridge and freezer since we were traveling with a lot of food.

The facility needs a major upgrade. The beds are full size and not double as advertised. Complained about the noise above me, it wasn't addressed. They count towels before issuing clean ones, as if someone would take those dingy towels. The exercise room is missing most of the dumbbells.

The Extended Stay America in Kingwood was safe, quiet, and clean. I had a wonderful stay here and will return next time I visit the Wood.

Had brother admitted to hospital but this hotel is an easy walk. Short on very local restaurants and stores.Great place if you have business at HCA Kingwood facility. Staff was very courteous and attentive to any issues presented. The lack of dining options is offset somewhat by the facilities in the room. The pool is a nice feature in a hotel this size.

Entering the place and hallway was little worried but inside the room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I have 2 autistic kids that can b very vocal and energetic and even with us being right next 2 the front desk they were very understanding

I will not be staying there again. The staff was friendly and helpful. That's about it. The hotel needs major renovations and new everything. From stains to smells...I would have been better off at the Ramada Inn, they're pretty bad. At least the beddings were clean.

I booked a studio suite but they gave me a regular room. And told me I needed to contact hotel.com. And I paid for the suite.

When checking in very fast easy going experience. The gentleman that helped me was very polite and helped me with my fur baby. Even talked about his pittie. Will definitely be back again.

The only problem was the elevator was out of order and I had to drag heavy bags up the stairs. It was not a deal breaker for me but was inconvenient. I can see where it would be a deal breaker for anyone not able to do it.

Bath light 1/2 out and could not find a switch for lights over sink. To go breakfast was packaged blueberry muffins and quaker oats cereal bags, 2 kinds of quaker chewy bars and tea and coffee. Ran out of cereal paper cups last 2 days of stay. 4 day stay over xmas. Lobby minimal but clean. No cleaning /towel service unless requested. No utensils, china or tableware in room. Must request each item from a locked glass fronted cabinet near lobby.

We arrive to be told the elevator doesn't work and we have to use the stairs. My husband is handicap and stairs are not easy for him. Wish someone had called and told me this in advance

Not kept in good condition. Bed broken and shower not cleaned. We tried to move hotels but Thanksgiving wèek availability was not good. Staff refused to make coffee at breakfast even though it was an hour before they shut done breakfast time. Told me to was half mile to hospital for coffee. Do not book this hotel!!

This hotel was convenient for me when I needed to stay in the area for a week. The area is quiet, not on a main highway but close enough. The air conditioning worked extremely well, I set the temperature higher than I normally would do I didn’t freeze.

The bed was too small and very uncomfortable for a couple to sleep in. Pillows could be better, very poor sleep while staying.

This hotel was a 8/10. I stayed 1 night. I liked that it had small kitchen in the room. AC worked well! It was superr cold!. Only thing was the smell on the hallways (smoking smell). Overall it was okay for a 1 night stay.

I would not recommend this place they have horrible staff who refuse you service and go in your rooms without your knowledge. This was the worse hotel I have ever stayed at. I went on vacation and decided to stay at this hotel and I instantly regretted it. It’s a good price but everything is outdated and me and my wife woke up with strange bites on our body and even seen that their beds have bed bugs. Do not stay here!! It is not worth the price of the hotel as they do not offer room service or breakfast either.

Full kitchen was ok. This place is run down. We had to move rooms due to no hot water and then the new room was worse with broken beds. The rooms feel damp and the 2nd floor has such a bad smell that my two 6 year olds couldn’t even take it, We checked out and went somewhere else. They agreed to refund me for unused nights and have yet to actually do it.

Good value for money. Instant oatmeal and granola bars was breakfast. Quite, felt safe in area.

We checked out after the 1st night. Horrible place, horrible service, not even paper cups in the rooms. Tried repeatedly to get service at front desk, knocking on office door, the windows at the desk etc., nobody ever came out. After waiting 20 minutes we gave up. The “breakfast “ was instant oatmeal with NO hot water to mix it with, no bowls or even spoons. Do not book here.
