Clean room. The lobby was very small. There was no snack machine in the or anything. My air conditioner also did not work, but I did not even bother to contact the office because they were rude when checking in.

Nothing Existing of "Breakfest" is lie. There are only bad coffee. Why you whrite breakfest??! Such service have to cost a half of the sum, that they have grab!

Everybody was nice everything was clean my TV didn’t work and they move me to another room where it did work well I didn’t like with the five Montgomery county sheriffs blocking the driveway for an hour this morning why they arrested three people out of a little Mustang and then they all looked at me like I was some kind of criminal as I’m trying to leave to go to work late because of the officers I’ll give Macgomery County sheriffs a big fat 0 for kindness and courtesy

The manager apologized as I arrived explaining he might be a little slow because he was new to the position; had he not mentioned it you would not have known it.....he was prompt, efficent, coourteous, and Friendly. He was very understanding that this was a short stop just for a tour driver to rest before hitting the road again and he placed us in a room away from the hustle and bustle where it would be quieter which was very much appreciated. The room was clean, had a nice fragrance, was well stocked and the A/C was running so the room was cool and ready for sleep. Very grateful and pleased. I have NO COMPLAINTS. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, good water pressure, NO creepy crawlies in the room. The price was reasonable. The staff was beyond reproach. GOOD STAY and I will look them up the next time I am in Houston

The cleanliness and location. I booked a room through this website and the room that I chose had an kitchen sink and burner for cooking.....when I arrived to check in for my room I didn't receive the one I selected online....Plus the lights went out three times and I seen roaches..

Very, quite, very clean, bed really comfy. Was surprised it was so pleasant. The lady at front desk was super rude. I think it was because she couldn't speak English well and she didn't really know what she was doing at first. Her husband came and fixed everything.

clean outside rite next too a gas station not too far from the shopping mall the room had roaches the door had paint stains and the floor was cover in smoke marks just nasty,until I ask for another room and was much more happier with that one

I ended up getting my key, i had to ask if there was wifi. Only to get to the room and a man was naked on his bed IN THE ROOM I WAS ASSIGNED! I was so terrified I flew back downstairs and demanded a refund to leave that place. WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER! The front desk person did not even apologize!

It was definitely clean by my standards. In this price range especially. My problem with this Palace Inn is the hotel across from it. They'll let anyone stay and do whatever they want.

Room was clean cool & comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel and I will be staying here again in the future. Great value.

the night check in clerk was incredibly rude. I booked this because my 22 year old missed his flight in Houston, the clerk just kept yelling at him that he didn't have a reservation, even after we gave him the itinerary number. He yelled at me when I got him on the phone. He told me he had NO reservations, really? a hotel that has NO reservations? he demanded more money than we had reserved for, my son had no choice but to pay -- since he had already spend $30 on an Uber ride to this hotel. I called Travelocity customer service, there wasn't much they could do. Very disappointing.

The owners were rude, very short with us. The room was clean but simple things like a TV remote were not provided, there was no blankets just a super thin over sheet.

When we arrived the clerk was so rude because it was so late at night. He acted as if it were a problem to deal with us. After having been on the road traveling for more than 12 hours we were exhausted and just wanted rest. We walk into our room and there are 3 HUGE flying cockroaches in our room just posted up on the bed. I am completely disgusted by this time and I asked for a refund or a sanitized room and the man laughed in our faces and said “No refund!!! You stay here you stay in that room. Only room I have.” That was clearly a lie since we were one of the 4 vehicles in the parking lot.

I don't normally give reviews of things, but I gotta say I was just very impressed by the Palace Inn. The room was spacious and the price is excellent.

The only issue I had was the price but compared to other locations it was the cheapest I could find. Not bad for a two star hotel.

Quite pleased to find the hotel had been completely remodeled. I've stayed in pricier hotels that weren't as nice. Only drawback was in spite of having a refrigerator and microwave in the rooms, there was NO COFFEE MAKER? That would have made everything perfect, but I WILL Stay here again!

Having worked in hotels before, my first thing was to examine the room for cleanliness. It passed the test! The staff was very helpful from front desk to housekeeping. I would reserve another room there if needed.

This place was wonderful! Far exceeded my expectations. The room has everything you need and the location is perfect. My only suggestion would be a thicker comforter for the bed.

Spotless, apparently newly renovated. Architectural ceramic tile on bathroom walls and floor. New carpet, new furniture, freshly painted walls, comfortable bed.

The was a great location. The hotel is fairly new. The room was spacious and clean. I didn't like the thin comforter or the fact there was not a clock. But there was a dvd player.

There's a body shop behind the hotel, and some teenage kids ride their dirt bikes and ATV's up and down the drive, and it's really loud. The police had to be called twice, to get them to quit riding at 2:30 AM on our last night there. But, the facility was safe and secure, and there is a convenience store/gas station right across the street. The people there were very friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were cleaned well.

They did not have one available for us, they gave it to someone else that day and the only room left was a double on the second floor with no elevator!! Room was to be non smoking, but had several burn holes in linen, bugs in linen, only one towel and dirty ice bucket with no plastic bag. Staff rude. Clean and comfortable motel for the price, the only negative is the breakfast, when you book it says it's included but they don't even offer it, when asked was given banana bread, that's it.

The first room they gave us had the beds made up, when you drew back the covers to reveal that one of the beds had hair and soiled linen from someone else sleeping in the bed previously. Asked the desk for new linen and they indicated that the bed was clean and to use it. We indicated that the bed had hair and soiled linen. After persisting they gave us a 2nd room and this room was made up the same but when we drew back the sheets there was stains & hair in the 2nd room (only a guess but could have possibly from someone renting the room by the hour?). The room had towels for 2 people only & we were 4 people. On request they did give us extra 2 towel sets. The breakfast consisted of freeze dried coffee (or Hot water but no Tea Bags) and a one bite muffin or a pre-packaged cinnamon horn. No fruit, no margarine / butter, No Water. The location does not have any other restaurants within walking distance but does have a Gas Station you may be able to get something from (that is if you get there before they close at 11:00 pm) The hotel seems a bit overpriced for what you get.
