ARTOTEL Thamrin Jakarta

When I stayed there, there are some weekend party above our room and the sound was loud around 12-02.00 (maybe) morning. I suggest the hotel provides Earplugs. It is common on another hotels

Because i was staying at 6th floor the bar music was too loud during the nights. Also, the dish plates were dirty. There were no plugs near the bed.

Superb location and well-appointed rooms. Rooftop bar is pleasant. Definitely a place I'd book again. Rooms could have been a bit bigger. Ideal for solo or duo travelers.

Restaurant was too expensive

Friendly staff They only provide three very small bottle of water which is not enough for one person and when you request additional they charge you tremendous amount of money no iron no hair dryer

Location is prime. Next to sarinah mall, very close to sabang street where all the street food, and a walking distance to Plaza Indonesia and Grand Indonesia malls Need to Step up with the cleanliness. We found a dead c*ckr*ach and an alive friend soon after. No fun to jump and scream to a bug such early in the morning

No hot water for showers

Location near Sarinah and Sabang Walking distance to Big Mall of Grand Indonesia You can ask the staff for storing your frozen food to keep them in good condition Wardrobe cabinet is not big enough, I think this is for all the Artotel Studio type room. In room fridge normally is not cool enough to store your items

Everything is top notch, from the wonderful Indonesian breakfast that makes me miss more about being Indonesian to the professional and attentive staff that makes sure our stay is comfortable, everyone is amazing. Would definitely recommend!

Convenient, clean, with friendly and courteous staff and a solid breakfast. Quick taxi to the airport train.

I did not like the rooms. Their other location — Artotel casa kuningan— was miles better. The room I was given was on the mezzanine. The room felt like it was an afterthought, stuffed into an area not meant for guests. The floor I think shared a hallway with the hotels back room and I constantly heard doors swinging open and shut, and footsteps moving about. The curtains were drawn shut when I entered, and I understand why, since peaking behind the curtain all you see is a roof of the service area below and a wall. Like I said, room felt like an afterthought stuffed into a corner not meant for guests.

The cigarette smell in the balcony makes me and my friend feel a bit uncomfortable. The room key didn't work sometimes that we had to go down seeking for help from receptionists.

The wall is a bit thin, so its kind of noisy. Every weekend there is very loud music from the roof top bar till 2 AM The roof top bar is ery loud

Good location. Very close to a mall where you can find great shops and local food. Room is clean, good breakfast options, very helpful and friendly staff. Rooftop bar is great (view and drink options). It was a bit noisy. There was a music event, which was nice but I couldn’t sleep very good.

The artistic vibe was very enjoyable. The hotel is very cute. Even though the room is very small it had everything we needed for 2 nights stay. All was good

I enjoyed a very happy stay here – the bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, and the shower (pressure and temperature) was perfect. There was a wide selection at the breakfast buffet, too. The hotel is almost across the road from Sarinah mall (brilliant for batik fashion), and a short walk from Jl Sabang, which is fantastic for street food in the evenings. The lighting was very dim, so if your night vision is poor, you might appreciate having packed a head torch :)
