The hotel is generally clean and quiet with a good breakfast, close to the airport with a shuttle service. However, the shuttle service is unreliable and the rooms have limited lighting and some unfinished renovations.

    The lobby looks wonderful. The halls are very dark. Hall carpet looked good. Room 142 was clean and spacious. Flooring in bathroom was a little wonky and there was rust(?) around the bathtub water spout. Water was hot. My adult daughter and I stayed 1 night, queen beds. Breakfast was routine. So everything was okay, until I got home that night and broke out in 62 horrendously itching large bumps. Bedbugs! My daughter didn't get any bites from her bed.

    I had cancelled flight. I searched for closest property with strong reviews. I'm happy I found La Quinta DFW North. Turns out I was among that last yo book a room before sold out. The front desk was busy but the two gentlemen working handled the situation very well. Polite, helpful and efficient. I was impressed and would share their names if I had learned them. Great value - there is nothing I can think of other than the free shuttles to the airport could be more frequent (though I understand this may not be practical for the size if property)

    The only problem we had with this hotel, was that it was not listed in the third party booking that there was a separate deposit. Not the fault of the hotel, but the guy who was checking us in was LESS THAN HELPFUL! Room was clean and surprisingly quiet for being right by the airport! Would stay again!!

    Terrible abysmal shuttle service. After multiple phone calls and waiting over an hour at the airport, gave up and got an Uber. Do not stay here if shuttle services are important to you. Otherwise average hotel.

    The property was pretty clean and easy access to businesses and restaurants. The breakfast was the same as every hotel, edible but nothing great. The tv volume wouldn’t turn down and the pool area was closed due to maintenance. Over all it was a good stay.

    The receptionist was not helpful AT ALL. When our flight landed, I checked in to my room on my phone and followed the booking instructions to request a shuttle. The shuttle was late, so we called the hotel. They proceeded to tell us that our reservation was canceled by booking.com. I had NO communication about canceling, and had checked in successfully on my phone. We got to the property and the receptionist did not try to remedy the situation at all. He insisted our reservation was canceled, and did not care that I had checked in. He would not get a manager, and would not tell us what time the reservation was “canceled.” He did not offer to call another location, and simply said “it’s canceled.” I called booking.com customer service, who said the booking was active and was NEVER canceled. It showed me as checked in. The Booking.com rep was extremely helpful and kind, offering to find me a new accommodation and cover the difference. Booking.com is the only reason I was not charged for the reservation. I truly think this is a scam the airport location of La Quinta runs. Overbook, cancel all third party bookings, collect non refundable payments. They had a whole list of canceled third party bookings. Mine had a room number attached. It should have been available! Even if it was a fluke, there was absolutely NO HELP from the La Quinta receptionist. It was absurd!

    The hotel and staff were great, but the shuttle service was horrendous! They left us stranded for well over an hour and NEVER showed up nor contacted us (and it was only 8pm). I ended up paying for an Uber just to get from the airport. Don't stay here if you need to use the shuttle to the airport but everything else was great!

    Hotel room was okay needs updated. It was clean but beds arent to comfortable 😕. It was hot in the inside the whole hotel other than our room. The pool was also not available. Close to airport though took me 5 minutes to get to it easy travel. Breakfast was lacking also. Probably will stay somewhere else next time.

    Our beds were comfortable. The faux wood flooring was badly warped in our room (106), and the toilet handle stuck when flushed and had to be manually pulled back into position. We left before breakfast time so cannot comment on itj.

    First ,the people at the desk were not very helpful. One persons English was so poor we could not understand important details about the shuttle. The room was just awful. Very few lights in the room and even by the elevator! You couldnt even see!! Sub par! Does the management ever go in these rooms? I dont think so. These arent big request's either! Lights? People that can help at the desk or be understood? We were told the wrong name of the shuttle at the airport pick up. Thank goodness I called again to speak to someone different and get the correct name of the shuttle. These are not huge requests. I would not stay at this property again. I always thought LaQuinta was a pretty middle of the road property, they can do better.

    When I checked in, the room I reserved was not available, so I was relocated to a room with a smaller bed. The water from the faucet in the bathroom smelled like rotten eggs. I checked out two days early, but I had already prepaid for the extra two days, and La Quinta would not refund me for the two days that I didn't stay.

    Pick a different hotel. There are many along this strip near the airport, and I cannot help but think they are better. The staff was never at the desk. We needed to return a rental car and take their shuttle back to the hotel. They didn't tell us any of the things we needed to know - such as after you return the car you have to GO BACK to the airport to catch the shuttle, we learned this after being on hold for 7 minutes. Once we got there, called again (long, long hold) and received equally terrible instructions how to catch the shuttle to the hotel. They gave us a very specific name that would be on the shuttle, and after waiting 45+ minutes, what came was totally different. COME ON, this is your bread and butter business! You are a hotel by an airport! The REASON people stay there is the shuttle! The staff seemed disinterested at best, and very unengaged. The room...somehow we got a handicapped room. I asked if we could change...and nope - a snotty reply about going through a 3rd party - AND...if you want to see in the hallways and the rooms, bring a flashlight! There were two very weak lights, and dark brown walls, just awful.

    Fortunately I was able to book this hotel last-minute when I had a canceled flight. It’s very convenient to the airport and the shuttle is a nice bonus. The room was spacious & spotless with a lovely shower, microwave, refrigerator, everything you need. Comfortable bed. Plenty of parking if you need it. They also had a complementary breakfast with lattes which is very nice if you are stranded. The front desk staff were all extra friendly and professional which means a lot when you already have a stressful travel situation. Would definitely stay here again.

    The price and location suited us well. They carried essential toiletry except contact lens supplies which I think would have been ideal. ( My small eye solution rolled somewhere and could not locate ) We were very tired and exhausted at the time of check-in but Uber Delivery from CVS eased our contact lens solution dillema and we also ordered water and some other essentials.

    Harry was running the front desk around midnight when a rush of people arrived because of a flight groundstop due to weather in the area. He was doing a great job and was helpful even though he was overburdened due to the amount of people checking-in. I'd give Harry 5-stars. However, the La Quinta was not up to par with the others I've stayed in. The entire hallway and premises seemed fairly dirty. The room we stayed in had a lot of black mildew in the bathroom. Bed was very comfortable, though. There is a water dispenser in the lobby with cut lemons in it. Unfortunately the lemons must have been there for a couple of days because the water had a very off-flavor, so I just dumped out my cup. Good for a stay if in a bind, but I wouldn't come back.

    The shuttle took well over an hour and we were with a small child who was so tired. It was misery, the front desk initially told me 10–15 minutes and I had to call multiple times. The driver was so rude, and wasn’t a safe driver. The seatbelt wasn’t working. He let a woman stand in the aisle of a small van driving. The room had hairs in shower, stains on toilet, with incredibly uncomfortable bedding. Absolute worst part of my 10 day international trip. Will actively avoid La Quinta in future. Hotel chains I’ve had much better experiences at in the same price range were available and I deeply regret the decision to stay here.

    really enjoyed my stay, even though it was only for one night. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and overall I had a very enjoyable experience. The shower pressure was a little weak, but aside from that everything was great. Breakfast was lovely, and I especially enjoyed the little garden area — it was beautiful sitting outside in the morning with a coffee watching the planes come and go. The housekeeping staff were also very kind and friendly. . The only issue I experienced was with the Wi-Fi in the room, which could definitely be improved. Overall though, it was a pleasant stay and I would happily return

    It is very close to the airport. Also, there is a shuttle van to and from the airport. The lobby elevator has been broken on our last 2 visits. You have to walk to the very back elevator. This causes you to walk a long distance to your room.(we are senior citizens) The halls are not well lit and the room has only 3 lamps. The rooms are very dark. I used a flashlight to find things in my suitcase. Unfortunately this will be our last stay at this property. We have stayed there for years.

    The room was very good, but the reception staff were poor. They were unwelcoming and didn't tell me that that the internet wasn't working in my room. When I tried to log on, I couldn't so had to go all the way down to reception to as why. When I got there, the staff just said that the internet had been down since the morning. If that was the case, why didn't they tell me when I checked in? And there was absolutely no hint of an apology. Would I stay there again? Probably, because the room was good. But they really need to train their staff better.

    While I was only there for several hours...sleeping most of the time...the purpose of the stay was to get to DFW by 3am for a 5am flight. The room was very clean, as well as the rest of the facilities...cool coffee maker in the lobby. Why the elevators were at the rear of the property from the front desk is a bit of a mystery. The DFW shuttle was on time, though being operated by a third party...so a few other hotels were stopped at before getting to DFW.

    One night stay, and I could not have handled another night. Cleanliness was poor at best. In the hallway leading to the room there was spilled food in MANY areas all along the hallway. Bathroom in the room showed hair in the sink and shower and on the floor. Stains on the sheets and pillow slips. TV remote was sticky. Went to the gym and most of the equipment had out of order signs on it. Worst part was the breakfast - I have no idea what the sausage was made from, but it was NOT pork or beef. Did not even taste like soy. Mystery meat taste. Very skimpy setup, and unorganized and confusing flow for patrons. I would not stay here again.

    Every LaQuinta is different. The staff has always been friendly. This LaQuinta had the strangest floor plan, elevator was a good walk away from the front desk. Entry doors to rooms were like a v shape not side by side not very private. Hallways were dark colored. Room was large enough beds were ready for new mattresses. Ok for an overnight and there is shuttle service to airport.

    Staff: 3 - no warm greeting, very automated. No smiles. Hotel room: - 2. While the room was clean, it had a few issues. This was a suite. The suites are located on the second floor right in front of the loud lobby. At all times you’re able to hear loud noises and people laughing and talking. Not an ideal location. Lights next to bed buzzed all night, very annoying. The electrical outlet in the bathroom didn’t work which was a huge inconvenience. The hotels “store” are unbelievably expensive. Disney prices, is ridiculous.

    I experienced a massive cockroach infestation in my room, I was planning to stay 5 nights but left after 3. The last night I was unable to sleep because there were cockroaches of all sizes everywhere in the room and on my suitcase as I was trying to leave. They need some serious attention to the issue. The front desk staff was unhelpful when I checked out in the middle of the night. Avoid this hotel unless they get some serious bug control. Extremely disappointing stay in what should have been a nice trip to the DFW area. One positive is the patio area is nice and lush with greenery. The rest is to be marked and avoided.

    Chose this hotel because of the close proximity to the airport due to flying out early the next morning.     The hotel is definitely older. You can tell from the outside and when you walk in. The room definitely didn't give the same vibe as the pics. There's barely any lights in the room so you can hardly see unless you're in the bathroom. It was definitely a budget hotel. They did have breakfast which was decent. And they had a hotel shuttle but I didn't use that. I won't return because of the inability to be flexible and the pics didn't represent the room accurately.

    The La Quinta North location was well situated close to DFW and I had a late check-in with the staff being very kind and helpful. The room was clean and had nice travelers amenities. I have two negative notes. One being the airport shuttle was very confusing on coming in at 10 PM at night whether you called for the shuttle or whether there was routine pick ups. The second was that my room was on the third floor and the elevator is a long ways away from reception, don’t know if there was another one out of service, but being tired from travel and manhandling my bags was unpleasant.

    I called for the airport shuttle to get me, but it never came. I had to hitch a ride on another hotel’s shuttle. Then I was put in a dark cave of a room. It was a sunny day, but my small window faced a wall and was half under an awning so very little light came in. There were no ceiling lights, and only three dim lamps. Not conducive for work or leisure, but fine for sleep only. It was an accessible room so no bath, but the main issue was the bathroom smelled like sewage. I kept the door closed most of the time so it wouldn’t spread, but then every time I opened it the smell was intense. I would have given it one star, but the bed was comfortable.

    The room seemed cleaned. The bed was comfortable enough. There was the biggest roach that I ever seen at the base of the bed at 2am though. Also, couldn't use the shower because the pressure was that of a firehose and it started to flood the bathroom. There also wasnt enough lighting in the room we had to have all lights (bedside, desk lamp, bathroom light) on to be able to see anything. Besides those factors it was a decent enough stay. I will say the 24 hour airport shuttle is the redeeming quality and is enough to make me consider staying again if I ever come this way again.

    We booked it because we had a late arrival and very early departure the next morning and the website said there was a free 24hour airport shuttle. I called a few days before to confirm the shuttle for the hours of our flights and was told there would be no problem.     I wanted to save money and booked 1 night here. I was very disappointed, the room was very clean, but smelled like strong chemicals they are using to clean. Sheets were humid, pillows are very very firm like a rock, bed is old not comfy. There was no hot water, it was warm but not hot. Shower door didn’t close properly. Window was opening but there was a hole so I didn’t bother to open. Really outdated. Not coming back.

    I arrived by air around 10:39pm. I had to ask directions to hotel shuttle area and it was it wmeady to find - NOT the hotel's issue. BUT then I sat there with several other people waiting for the shuttle. Eventually a shuttle for a different hotel took all of us. Do not bother with the shuttle late at night.

    There were lots of doors you could go out but not back in. When I checked in I was told I was expected to checkout on friday at 6 pm but at noon they were asking if I needed another day and "graciously" gave me until 1 pm to check out. Even after checking out I received an email to check out online by 6PM. The staff barely spoke english making communications difficult.

    The staff was super helpful. We got a free shuttle ride to DFW and when we got to the airport my son realized he forgot his wallet. I called the hotel and they were super helpful and went and got the wallet and sent with the next shuttle driver to bring to us. We were still able to catch our flight because of this and not having to go all the way back ourselves.

    We used to enjoy staying at this hotel. It seems to be struggling. The TV did not work and they had no idea what was wrong. When we went to our room upon check in the door was open. We reported that the door would not close without a giant push and then lock. Halls smelt very musty. Unfortunately, we were placed in a room with people across the hall fighting loudly at 4am. The hotel is at a great location for air travel. The outside grounds are nice with a food truck in site.

    Nick and others who worked the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and well-maintained. The only negative was not the hotel's staff, but the contracted airport shuttle driver was very rude, he complained about too many suitcases and made a comment "this is a lot of money.", I did not understand the comment at the time but later figured out he was talking about his tip. He put one couple out at gate B who needed gate A. He roughly tossed our suitcases out of the van and then sneered at ten dollar tip like it was not enough. He was also aggressive driving, tailgating, and honking at a car in front of him. 4/3/2026

    To start, I encountered a roach in the room — something I have never experienced at a hotel before. There were also ants in the bathroom, which immediately raised concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. Unfortunately, the service issues were even worse. At check-in, staff were rude and dismissive. I informed the concierge that I needed to drop off my rental car and was assured that a shuttle would pick me up once I called. After returning the car, I called and was told the shuttle was on the way and would arrive within 20 minutes. I ended up waiting at the curb for nearly an hour, calling five separate times. Each time I was told the shuttle was close. On the final call, I was suddenly told the shuttle was still 25 minutes away. After standing outside close to midnight with no reliable updates or assistance, I gave up and paid for an Uber myself. The next morning’s airport shuttle was equally disappointing — less like a hotel shuttle and more like a retrofitted cargo van. It was overcrowded and disorganized, and several guests were left behind waiting on the curb. To make matters worse, I was also charged a $50 incidental fee at checkout despite leaving the room in good condition, with no damage and no explanation provided. After the experience with cleanliness and service, this added charge felt especially frustrating and unjustified. Terrible experience. Beware.

    The elevators and stairs in this hotel are located at the far end of the hallway, rather than near the lobby. All guests have to walk the full length of the hotel, take the elevator, and then backtrack to their rooms. There are no ice or vending machines on any of the floors, just a small shop in the lobby. Which again necessitates a trip to the elevator (unless a guest is lucky enough to be on the ground floor), and then a long walk to the lobby. The only lights in the room were two 60-watt lamps; one on the desk and one on the wall in between the beds. No ceiling light or floor lamp. I had to take my suitcase into the bathroom and set it on the counter to find my pajamas and clothes. At least the bathroom was well-lit.

    Room 103 extremely dark in the room - only 1 light bedside. We asked for another light but it never came. Room was also very noisy: car/outside noise, people walking/talking/opening doors in hallway, footsteps from 2nd floor and water sound from pipes every time someone used the washroom from upstairs. Bed was comfy though and airport shuttle was convenient. Breakfast was extremely basic: scrambled eggs, waffle, toast, instant oatmeal, oranges, apples.

    I booked the room due to the fact that my flight from Dallas to Pensacola was cancelled. Then my flight to Dallas was cancelled. I had no means of keeping the booking. Having been satisfied with your hotel before I figured there would be no problem. But no, in all your infinite wisdom you charged me for the room and refused to give me a refund. In no way looking at the whole situation, storm, flights cancelled. The almighty dollar reigns supreme. So you just lost a customer, who will at any given chance tell people visiting Pensacola to not use your hotel.

    The staff was helpful when I asked for help. The third party suppliers had trouble because of the icy conditions. There was no room service any of the days.     When I first arrived to check in, we got placed in a dirty room, this was around 6:00-6:30 PM. For it being so late in the day, I was curious as to why a room wouldn’t be cleaned by then, or why it wouldn’t be checked before assigning that room to someone? The new room was better, but there was stuff on the ceiling in the shower. It just didn’t feel clean overall and the front desk staff didn’t seem to like being at the front desk but in the room behind it instead.

    The room was fine, but the walls are paper thin. The room next to us turned on their TV blasting at four in the morning. I don’t know if they checked out and left the TV on or why they were so disco courteous. That woke us up. Our room was also overlooking the railing into the lobby and picked up all the sound. The breakfast was so mediocre. Almost inedible. Didn’t have a lot of options because of the snowstorm in DFW so was grateful that we got a room in the end.

    Good place to stay for an overnight as it's very close to DFW airport and they have a shuttle service that was great. My only "complaint" is about the lighting in the room. It was DARK even with all the lights on. It seems they've remodeled the room and chose to "upgrade" with what I would call "mood" lighting. Not very good for my mood when I have to get up before dawn to catch a flight and have to grope around to find my clothes, etc. Other than that, I'd give this property an "A".

    Buenas noches . Siempre e reservado en las instalaciones de los hoteles La Quinta, pero este viaje no se si fue por la empleada que se encuentra en el front Desek que es de origen mexicano y existió un pequeño percance a la hora del cheking out. Porque debía estar en el aeropuerto antes de las 9:00 am a las 8:30 am me dijo que vendría el transporte que lleva a los clientes del hotel al aeropuerto y después de 30 minutos de espera . Me comenta la misma chica que ya no vendrá el autobús que traslada a los huéspedes al aeropuerto . Tube que pedir un Uber de urgencia . Casi pierdo el vuelo y tengo pruebas de eso . Me sentí muy mal , fue un mal rato

    Check in was quick and easy! But the elevator was a long walk away and not working properly so it took us 3 trips to go up instead of one. Also we got the room with a bedroom for more privacy for the guests sharing the room- the room had glass panes so had no privacy…and the lights in the bedroom were making a buzzing noise so we had to unplug them but they were the only source of light in the room. Breakfast was good! Plenty of options but not necessarily healthy options

    This is budget hotel for short stay near the airport. Staff are friendly and nice, room was clean but there bug crawling in the bathroom. My room was very noise maybe I was next to the gym.

    Staff didn’t know what they were doing and couldn’t answer simple questions about the rooms. There was a really nice gal that helped me by switching rooms as they put me in a room that hadn’t been finished and not what I paid for. Double check your rooms before getting comfortable .

    We had a 40 minute wait for a shuttle at the airport. Our room had wasps in it, which was not a great surprise to deal with at 10PM when we were already changed and ready for bed, and toilet was leaking onto the floor. Our room was comfortable and clean, maybe just not well maintained. We did upgrade to a kind suite which was a bit of a waste because the room doors had glass in them without curtains so it didn’t block out much light or sound from the living room.

    Staff was good very friendly breakfast on the first day was delicious. The second day not so much would like an option of breakfast meat other than pork and quiet closing doors would be nice. Other than that I would definitely recommend it is quite far from the airports, but is in a peaceful location.

    Filed a complaint with Wyndham, shuttle took 70 minutes for pickup, late evening not a busy time of day and the person I spoke to on the phone was very rude. Hotel was literally 6 minutes from the airport. Signed up for the morning shuttle, wait 10 minutes past the arranged pick up time, then took a cab. Atrocious service

    Too dark in room. Requested for maintenance to come check 1 of the 2 lamps available, as it was not working. No show. Made for item retrieval and repacking difficult. Coffee maker did not work, which created disappointment getting up at 3am for 330am departure from hotel hoping to have coffee on board. Hot tub was dirty and not warm at all. Outside looks nice, but its the small things that make a stay excellent.

    Lack of a main elevator sucked, especially when the second elevator nearly ground to a halt between floors..and I mean GROUND, like metal to metal shaking and twisting. Also night lighting in the hallways is very poor. Pretty much the same in the rooms, very few lights.

    Still comfortable and clean but be aware of new condescending management in town. Got to hotel at 10pm after 3hrs delay only to be told my res was cancelled. First they blamed me then hotels.com. Not their problem. Was told to pay again for a room. Agreed, as I was travelling with disabled child and it was middle of the night, only to be told they are suddenly sold out. Spent 3hrs with hotel.com to try to salvaged what's left from my still valid reservation. No manager available to talk to. Told to come back at 0930am. Next day - no management. Front desk agent tried to charge me for storing my bags - 50usd and when I refused to pay shouted at me that he doesn't want my business and I can leave. Well I will be taking my money and my business somewhere else. There are plenty hotels in the area. I wish them all the best - they will need it.

    When I called for a shuttle from the airport to the hotel, the person who answered was very rude, told me about 30 mins, I called back after 50 mins and it was another 15 mins before the shuttle arrived. It literally took less than 10 mins to get to the hotel. I signed up for the morning shuttle to return to the airport, waited 10 mins past the time the shuttle was supposed to pick us up and finally took a cab so I and the other two gentlemen waiting wouldn't miss our flights
