Homewood Suites by Hilton Irving - DFW Airport

The advertised shuttle did not begin until 7:30 am on the day of our flight. Our flight was scheduled for 7 am and we needed to leave at 5 am.

This hotel is actually really clean and the breakfast was good. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the smoke detectors and fire alarms were going off ALL night. We drove to DFW to catch an early flight and it was a waste of money because we would have slept more at home and driving the 3 hours to the airport. Front desk kept saying “maintenance was working on it” yet it went off from 11 pm until we left at 6 am. Super disappointing experience.

I wonder why American hotels have stopped giving a hot water kettle - this is a basic neccecity in most parts of the world. CAUTION - housekeeping only every alternate day - this wasn't informed to us in advance, also the windows are bolted down and no option for them to open.

Was basic breakfast, nothing outstanding . Hotel room was clean and comfortable. My family enjoyed our stay. My son was always looking forward to going back to the hotel.

Rooms were spacious but outdated. Bathrooms had hair, bit not so much we couldn’t handle it. Breakfast wasn’t appetizing. Beds were comfortable and it was a safe place to sleep.

The staff were great, the room was perfect for our large family. The only issue we had was that we were next to a generator that was going off and on all day and night.

We booked 3 rooms for the last night of vacation. 2 of 3 rooms were ready by 11 am when we arrived early and the remaining room was ready by 1. Property was clean and easily accessible. Very quiet. Only compliant from the kids was the pool was too chlorined. Kids complained of burning eyes and a strong smell for the indoor pool. Otherwise hotel rooms were big and stay was perfect.

Great stay. This is one of the two or three best short stay hotels I have ever stayed in. Clean, safe, quiet, KITCHEN!! great bed, great bedding, airport shuttle was “fine” staff are s great! Breakfast was the usual, pretty good. Full coffee pot, everything neat and tidy. Price was really, really great. About $70 plus tax etc… what a bargain!

It was very nice and clean. The location was convenient and close to shopping and dining. I loved the hotel itself it was very comfortable and pleasant.

We took the grandkids to Dallas for spring break and chose this particular hotel because they had an indoor swimming pool and the kids were super excited about swimming. The first day we took them swimming and the water was freezing, I notified the front desk that the pool was cold and I was told that the pool is not heated. Who has an indoor pool that is not heated and why is nothing mentioned on the website. We were very disappointed.

Hotel was very clean and quiet. Very close to the airport. Great for business travel. The airport shuttle never arrived and could not wait longer than 22 minutes, so ended up taking an uber.

Room was amazing. I reserved two rooms 3 months ago and when we went to get our rooms, he only had us down for one. And the person that came in behind us was told that they couldn’t find his reservation, even though he had proof. He was very rude when I called to get our shuttle from the airport.

Room was a mini suite with kitchen, no stove top but micro wave, a separate seating area you will actually use and a great bath sink area with separate to8let/shower. Shower was great! Hotel smoke detector alarm went off more than once after going to bed, refrigerator made obnoxious noise and front desk said to just unplug it, and shuttle does not start early enough in the morning to catch an 8 AM flight. Won’t be staying there again.

The location is super close to the airport. The staff is friendly and kind. I loved the yummy breakfast! My waffle was in the shape of Texas! Lots of good choices. The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable I have no complaints.

The location was great. The rooms are so spacious. There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom and k have a severe mold allergy.

The kitchenette. The pool water was COLD so we were unable to use this facility.

This trip- my family of 6 waited an hour for a shuttle pick up, only to get to the hotel late at night, no options for food and told to walk across town. Upon getting to the room, furthest away with working elevators, 3rd floor, to an unstocked room. We called for pillows, conditioner, and towels as very little to none were provided. Despite saying they would come up, already 10:30 pm, we had to call two more times before items actually arrived, minus towels. I guess that was over the top to ask for. I spoke with the manager, Maria, and she was unwilling to compensate or rectify the situation. In short, after a long trip from outside the country, my family with 5 kids in tow, landed tired, hungry, hoping to just eat and go to bed, instead went to bed upset. The shuttle for the morning, which we were advised to “schedule” , was late after all and they don’t tell you that they go around to other hotels to pick up additional guests. I am disappointed as this company is usually my go to hotel to stay at and I will be rethinking this decision in the future. There was no mention of recognition of issues despite my personal attempt to bring it to their attention.

While one adult watched them in the pool, the other adult cooked dinner in the kitchen in our suite. Then, after dessert with a chocolate cream pie and a little tv, they were out for the night. Breakfast was great in the morning with a good selection. Tell me what kid doesn't love a belgian waffle?

They have a nice outdoor area with bbqs and tables. Full kitchen including dishwasher in my suite. The shuttle took FOREVER to get to the airport, and it was freezing out. That is my only complaint. Standing outside in 50F temps in flip flops and a t-shirt for an hour was not appreciated.

Location is close to airport Breakfast was very poor compared to other locations of this hotel. There was no Kleenex tissue in the room. Phone was not working and couldn’t call to front desk from the room when needed. Had to walk to front door.

This location is conveniently located, the fitness center is well furnished, the protein breakfast options were much appreciated! Our king sized room on the first floor exceeded our expectations in size and comfort.

Room had no blackout windows, facing pool, so big bright lights flooded my room all night. Bathroom area smelled sour, not sanitized. Bed was comfy, though. Noisy gate below my window also kept me from sleeping.

When we got to the room there was an overpowering mildew smell. The air conditioner was super loud. Later that evening we realized the air conditioner was leaking and the floor was wet. After the difficulty we had checking in we did not want any further contact with the front desk, so we threw a towel down. The pool heater was also broken so the water was freezing.

Wasn’t good. Got in from flight after midnight. Got to room and A/C wasn’t on. So it was hot. Went to bed. Didn’t think it would ever cool off. Got up this morning and A/C unit was leaking water in room on carpet. I reported it when I checked out. Breakfast wasn’t very good.

The TV did not work 2 of the 3 nights we were there and they did not clean our room until we ask them to on Saturday. We arrived on Thursday. The only thing that was disappointing was the breakfast. The eggs were cold and rubbery, there was no salsa, the pancakes you could not cut unless you had a knife. The choices for the oatmeal was also limited.

By far the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at! Staff was amazing, the room was immaculate and clean. Parking is nice and the grounds were clean and I felt safe making trips to and from our vehicle without my husband in the middle of the night when we arrived. We definitely won’t be staying anywhere else when in the are. Highly recommend!

The shower had mold, it’s not up kept properly. Their breakfast options was very limited and not enough healthy and wholesome option. Seems like the hotel is understaffed.

We only stayed for one night but the staff were incredible, the rooms were very spacious and beautitful with fabulous amenities! Our only issue was that our room had a roly-poly bug infestation! The cute little critters were everywhere by morning! That being said, I will still be renting here again :)

I booked with this hotel through Expedia . They told me to call the day of my reservation to see if an early check in was available . They took one hour to pick me up from the airport. When I got there

When we arrived we were greeted by an amazing front desk staff member. The hotel was in a nice area and was clean. The room was comfortable. Our inly complaint was that the heating element in the indoor pool was broken.

They refused to allow me in at one in the morning. There was nothing posted on the website about age restriction. I am 20 and turn 21 in a few months, but they would not let me in due to what they said was an age restriction. I had to book another hotel.

The room was very quiet especially considering the proximity to the airport. The room was very nice and comfortable. My only complaint is regarding the guy who picked us up in the airport shuttle. He needlessly tailgated every driver he got behind, was unnecessarily aggressive, and narrowly avoided at least 3 collisions . We took an Uber back to the airport.

Property was great, clean, and breakfast was pretty good. Only downside is that the pool heater was broken so we couldn't use it.

Hotel was perfect for what I needed it for. With a late afternoon arrival into Dallas I needed a place to stay for just the one night before flying out the next morning. Check in was seamless, room was clean and spacious. Only issue was transport from the airport to the hotel as I thought there were courtesy buses but couldn’t find any information at the airport about where to go or how frequently they came past the international arrivals area. Ended up catching an Uber but that was the only issue. Would definitely recommend

What made the difference, what will make us go back, is the shuttle service. We scheduled a 7am departure to the airport and he was putting the van in gear at exactly 7am. I called for a ride back (family went through the security checkpoint) and he came back and got me. It was a little longer wait than expected and he mentioned he was about to call for that reason…I believe him. That man takes his work as seriously as I want to be at the airport on time.

The property is conveniently located near the airport and freeway. overall the property is clean, but some details needed attention in my room. The staff was pleasant.

The rooms are well-appointed, clean, spacious, and have a luxury feel. The staff provided great service, and the included breakfast was delicious. I love the that Homewood Suites has a free shuttle service too and from the airport. And if the shuttle is not available, the hotel will provide a rideshare service at not cost.

The front desk agent was so helpful and friendly.

Front desk was super kind, and welcoming. Outside was clean and no sketchy people out and around. The pool heating element was broken, which was a bummer for our two daughters and their friend, as we stayed for a birthday trip. But they did have a cool basketball court, just bring your own basketball. But the room was super spacious, as it held my husband, I, two daughters, and their friend, we got a suite, with a pull out couch, and two queen beds, which was off in a separate bedroom with it's own TV, and a kitchenette, which we loved. Breakfast was okay. But we would definitely stay again.

Very spacious and comfortable for my family. Wish I got his name, but the person who checked us in was so friendly and helpful. Asked what we were doing, where we came from, etc.

Room is in desperate need of an update

Second time staying here, room was really clean and comfortable beds, we love the place. Only problem is that the heating elements in the swimming pool were not working, we called ahead the day before and no one inform us of the problem until we saw a sign on the door. Will stay again next time visiting the city

Check in was easy and our quick overnight stay was perfect for a morning flight the next day. Very quiet and clean. Great staff!

We were warned about leaving our vehicles in the parking lot by the taxi driver. We didn’t have a problem but others must have.

When I stay away from home, the comfort of the bed and a quiet place to rest is most important. This hotel checked all the boxes. Thank you!

We were not told upon check-in that our room would be changed. The lady who works the morning/day shift was great, and very polite with helping accommodate to the troubles we encountered. But the afternoon/evening lady was not very understanding.

We had several issues in our room - AC problems, no hot water, etc.
