    The hotel used to be Hyatt. It's a little hard to find since it's a little hidden but it was worthwhile staying there. Price was very reasonable. Room is spacious. It had two full size beds and a sofa sleeper. It was decorated nicely. Plenty of security cameras throughout the building so we felt safe. Not sure what happened with WiFi; it was not offered or not available. The air conditioner kept the room cold but our AC unit made a little noise like the "artificial rain" instrument. Beds were a little soft but the linens were clean. Water pressure was really good on second floor, a little too strong. Breakfast was simple. Eggs, sausage, cereals, oatmeal, apples, mixed fruit, biscuits or waffles. Pets are not allowed. Expedia listing is wrong saying they are allowed. Had to make other arrangements back home for our dog. We enjoyed the time we spent there since it wasn't crazy busy. It was nice and quiet. I would stay here again if I was in the area.

    Using GPS to get to the property parking lot will take you to a dead end street that has been blocked off. Use the FedEx Store address of 315 N Sam Houston Pkwy E, Houston, TX 77060. Slow down and turn right at the very next right turn. At night, you can read Hyatt Place under the sign covering for The IAH Houston Hotel. The hotel is behind the FedEx Store. Continue driving through the gate. It's normal for there to be very few vehicles in the parking lot.

    I was shocked at how nice the setup was for the rooms & for the price. I enjoyed my stay. The breakfast was good especially the fruit. The only thing is I wish there was a microwave in the room & ice machines on each level. I had to keep going down to the 1st level

    the rooms were clean overall. there was a few disappointments. room 214 on the second floor, the mattress was overused. where the body lays, you slept in what felt like a hole and the metal bottom frame made lots of screeching noise when getting comfortable in bed. the air conditioner was rowdy and loud. the shower did not have a door or curtain. just a glass that covered just enough where the water stream splashed on the shower floor. no hair dryer in room. also expedia says “pet friendly,” but it is in fact not. they have a sign at the front desk that reads “no pets allowed.”

    No microwaves in the rooms. Fitness room is average at best. A lot of the weights are missing. Pool had not been cleaned in a while and had a cockroach floating in it. Cleaning staff were attentive but they don’t throughly clean the rooms. Dog hair on the couch and under it. Definately a dated hotel. Nothing within walking distance. Everything has to be driven to. Not the greatest area. Just an alright place to stay

    The hotel was very clean. However, when I booked there was a shuttle to take you from the airport to the hotel. The shuttle is now not in service. I asked the hotel to pay for some of my uber cost since this was the reason I booked this hotel for the free shuttle. They said no.

    The room was clean and staff was great. The signage out front needs to be replaced. It is clearly a temporary sign. As it is not illuminated, it is difficult to find the driveway at night. The shower was not renovated well. The metal shelf with the towels is very rusty and rust stains run down the wall. The entrance to the stall is not sealed well.

    We stayed at this hotel the very day it changed hands. We were never given room keys but were escorted to our room. The room was clean and comfortable but we felt a bit awkward not having room keys. No phones to call front desk.     The hotel initially advertised shuttle service, which was later discontinued during my stay. There was no ice available, but there was a bucket, and the breakfast was just average. Communication with the staff was difficult due to limited English proficiency. I will never stay at the hotel again.

    When i booked this hotel you guys said these hotel was Hyatt hotel, no were i saw Hyatt name at the hotel. Breakfast was terrible. Only fruit was very very green apple. No toaster available in the breakfast area. The room AC was too smelly. The bed was terrible making all kind of noise and springs were so jumpy. The flooring was so sticky. I will never recommend this hotel to anybody. Most of the time you don't find anyone on the reception. There was severe Gas smell coming near my room and near lobby area. Maybe there was some gas leakage somewhere but nobody cared. Only good about this hotel was Parking availability (may be because nobody stays here).

    This was not an acceptable stay. Both rooms we stayed in had blood on the sheets, which is completely unacceptable. On top of that, there was no hot water at night. The only positive was the location, but that doesn’t make up for the issues.

    I reserved the Hyatt hotel, and somehow Hyatt didnt owj the property by the time my reservation happened. I was not notified, and the hotel was subpar at best. I checked out after one night because there was no hot water, the phones didnt work (buttons were literally missing), there was mold in the shower. I feel like I got completely bait and switched by being told it was a Hyatt and not told when it was under a conpletely different companys management.

    When we booked the hotel in February it was the Hyatt place Houston north, and by the time of our stay it was called the IAH hotel and we were never notified about the change. Room was clean, the mini fridge kept making weird noises all day and night, some staff were amazing others seem disinterested and underprepared. Breakfast was decent no toaster oven for bagels was a disappointment. When we booked this hotel they offered a shuttle to and from the airport however we weren’t allowed to get one cause they didn’t offer it anymore which was weird and honestly frustrating, because Friday when we checked in they said we could get a shuttle on Sunday then by Saturday another staff told us that they didn’t offer it anymore. All in all I’d give it a 3 out 5 and that’s me being generous great place to stay if you’re not looking to spend $300 a night but I wouldn’t recommend over others in similar price range

    The room was small with black mold. There was no hot water in the room, toilet overflow and would not flush. The mini fridge did not work. The bed was broken it made both of us roll into the middle. The breakfast was like eating rubber. We left for a better hotel less than 12 hours. We want our money refunded for this horrendous experience. We will never use your services again.

    The shuttle service was poor, I waited more than one hour and a half hours. During that period ,I called the hotel three times ( long waiting to get connected)..The driver was rude, he even said to me:. Take a Taxi, I may need 90 minutes to pick you up. After I arrived at the hotel , the clerk told me only less than 20 minutes between the airport and hotel Later in the evening you can get any food.

    I would definitely stay here again. The hotel was very nice and the staff was stellar. I checked in after midnight and Tempress was upbeat and treated me like I was important and she was glad to see me. Even more impressive, when I checked out at 6:30am Tempress was still there; upbeat, happy to help, and treating each guest interaction with equal importance.

    TERRIBLE!!!!! Staff sit on phone at front desk!!! Called 7 times for over 90 minutes for shuttle. No one picked up. Missed our event!!! Broken pool chairs. NO TOWELS … towel shortage which they made the customers issue ??? THEN - We had a medical emergeny , 911 to hospital and life or death surgery. Manager would not even give us 1 EXTRA MINUTE PAST CHECKOUT. So non-compassionate !!!! I always give pretty good reviews and always remain patient and understanding. However NOT THIS TIME. TERRIBLE. TERRIBLE. TERRIBLE!!!!! This should not be our ONLY HOUSTON EXPERIENCE!!!!!

    First of all the horrible smell hit you when you walked in. Ine person at the desk. Pleasant enough. I know u requested a king single bed however the room she sent me to was a double bed for my boyfriend and i. The old musty smell was worst there. Went back down to the desk andcwas given a room not even cleaned. Pictures to follow. Back to the desk ro sit and wait while the clerk left to find us a room. Another person behind the desk proceeded to argue with someone on the phone louded about how it was a mess there and the system wasnt working to see clean rooms vs dirty ones. And with that I left to find another hotel. SMH

    Booked the hotel online while I was already in my Uber. Desk agent checks me in while I’m on the phone with the airlines. Doesn’t even need to ask me a question — takes my ID, hands me a room key, says “You good.” Had to get back in the TSA line at 430 in the morning. Dropped my card at the desk, walked out. I’m in bed sleeping 20 minutes after being turned away from TSA. Efficient, easy, fast. I don’t know what else you could want from an airport hotel.

    This was the WORST Hyatt Place that I have stayed! The first room had black mold in the shower. When I pulled the covers on the bed back to spray with Lysol, there were 2 long hairs in the bed! The second room had a non working refrigerator. The young lady that works at night (Caucasian with glasses) was NOT pleasant at all. It was like you were bothering her when you asked a question. The only good thing I can say is that the breakfast was good.

    Staff was ok. They do not run a shuttle all day. Room was gross. Walls were falling apart under window, shower had used bandages stuck to ceiling. Room only had 3 towels because of a shortage? Food delivery was left sitting out in lobby. Fire alarms were going off all day into the evening. They did not have a restaurant onsite like stated on the website. We arrived on Thursday and were scheduled to check out on Monday, we left on Friday.

    We arrived from out of town traveling for my daughter for NCA. They gave our room away although we already paid for our room. The front desk receptionist was “nice enough” to make changes to other reservations so that we can have a room. I didn’t feel that should have had to happen or even been mentioned to me if we already paid for our room. I was not happy in that moment of panic thinking me and my daughter would not have a place to stay. NCA weekend was booked and busy. On day 2 the only room service we received were new towels and trash taken out. Bed was not changed, made up or anything else.

    I could have chosen to get another hotel but I was only in town for the weekend. The shower didn’t drain right, there was rust on the towel rack stand, and the toilet seat was peeling. All those other things I didn’t care too much for but the bed issue was a big one. I would have loved to wake up with no back aches and have had a good nights rest.

    The room was very nice and the staff was excellent. Very friendly the hotel was clean breakfast was nice and coffee was hot and fresh. If i stay in Houston again it will be here. The only thing I see that can be improved is the shuttle from the airport. I had to call to get them to pick me up. Needs to be put on website for customers to call ahead of flight.

    There was literally one person on staff at all times and the lines for questions were long. We had no tv for our entire stay and they tried to fix it. It was noisy. There was no one cleaning the rooms unless requested to do so and even when requested they didn’t do it. The bathrooms felt old and neglected. The room size was beautiful. There’s a lot of potential to this hotel but wouldn’t reccomend in the state it’s in. I said excuse me about 12 times to a room attendant and she completely ignored me.

Bathroom was a little cramped and there was no microwave, but honestly the breakfast was great. Hot meal everyday and hot coffee. It was quiet and clean.

    Very friendly staff. The rooms were very clean. I was extremely impressed with the quality of this hotel. Everything from the time I checked in until I checked out, was A+. If you are from out of town and worried about the gamble of finding a nice, clean, friendly and quiet hotel, you will not be disappointed with this one. I highly recommend 10 out of 10.

    Sheets were dirty luckily I have learned a lesson since Covid and travel with bedding. Chairs in lobby were all tore up. Gym was missing about 80% of the weights and let’s talk about the the area as soon as you come up the drive and the fence has razor wire all the way around it should have been a sign to stay out of this area.

    I like the staff and how the staff handled the winter storm volume from storm fern. Excellent I like the layout of the room, the set up of the room however, the tub needs a replacement. It just looked so beyond filthy. Really didn’t like the tub outside of that. Everything else was wonderful and I guess I would stay there again just for the fact that I know that they made an effort that they need to replace the tub at least in our unit room 307.

    Parking felt safe however there was an iron rod fence with bob wire above it and the main gate to enter and exit remained open the entire time! Breakfast was a step above mediocre, did like the option of having oat milk for those that don’t drink, cows, milk! The first room was missing decor as you entered, the art/picture that belonged on the wall was no longer there. The room was decent, but could have definitely used a deeper cleaning, also the room had no hot water! We were accommodated, however, when moved to the second room, there was no heat which was a huge inconvenience. We were told that maintenance would come to try to resolve the issue. We waited, but maintenance never came. My husband went to inquire about the maintenance personnel and management was trying to accommodate us with a third hotel room. This hotel room was much smaller than what we had originally purchased. However, it did not lack heat and hot water. The accommodations by staff was helpful, however would not consider staying at the property again!

    The staff at the front desk was short and not very friendly. I also noticed several critters (roaches) in my room and was very displeased and couldn’t sleep in fright the critters would be crawling on me. The breakfast was good and kitchen staff was polite would not recommend this location to a friend and I am very disappointed on the amount of money I spent and the experience that of the stay did not match.

    The facility was clean and breakfast was good The staff! The staff the staff! I waited over 50 mins for a representative to come to the front desk my spouse was calling and the individual at the location picked up and said “yeah” when she explained the long wait and dissatisfaction they replied with “ is that all you call to tell me” . When he came back to me he laughed and said I guess I have your wife on the phone. I let it go because I was exhausted the next morning I was eating breakfast and I touched base with front desk and the representative was even more rude and I told me the shuttle wasn’t coming which I confirmed an 8:15 am pick up I asked when he would be telling me and he advised you were eating breakfast and didn’t seem very worried I asked for this guys name because it seems to be a trend with staff at this location and his demeanor changed quickly and he then wanted to be helpful and got transportation to the airport. Very dissatisfied when I called to speak with a manager I was told they would have to call me back almost a week later haven’t heard anything.

    It was an easy commute to downtown. My experience is not good. I have stayed at many Hyatt hotels, this stay was more like a motel stay. The room smelt bad. There was a horrible smell on the carpet. There wasn’t a phone or microwave in the room. The bathroom was small with a lowered ceiling. You can tell there was severe water damage as the patch work was very visible. There was rust on the appliances. I wasn’t informed that the room wasn’t cleaned nightly. I asked for more towels since mine didn’t get taken away, I was informed by the front desk they may not have enough towels. There were stains on the curtains and covers. The breakfast was more of a continental breakfast, which was not what was advertised. Also during check out no one was at the front desk- wasn’t asked about my stay. I will never stay at this hotel again. I know to always read the reviews before booking a stay.

    The shuttle does not run 24 hours as advertised. I also called the hotel for a shuttle and it took 2 hours from the initial call for a shuttle to actually be at the hotel. I had called several times and the last time she told me she will call me back.. but did not. At check in a told her that the shuttle is advertised as 24 hours on Expedia she said oh those third parties..     Staff was lethargic, the bar was non-existent, elevators were down for several hours, no dining room even though it is advertised in the elevators, floor paneling is separating, phone didn't work, and I overheard another visitor complaining to the front desk about their TV not working. I was told by every staff member that the management wouldn't fix anything even after multiple and continuous complaints from guests because they are only concerned with the bottom line. This is a terrible representation of what a Hyatt should be.

    Would have been great to know that your restaurant is closed (the placery) as it’s still on your website, marketed in the elevator. There is no where to eat within walking distance if you have mobility issues. Luckily we didn’t. Room was pretty good, but there was no way to call down to the front desk. Breakfast was very good.

    I was very disapointed on this hotel. It does not seme like a Hyatt… terrible staff service. I booked this hotel because I needed the shuttle to the AirPort. When I checked in, the host told me that the shuttle was already full… so she said she could arrange a cab For next morning. She did not book it, I could have lost my flight because of this. The breakfast was grows. The staff was not nice, my children had morning caugh and she told Us to get out of the breakfast. The room is old, the air conditionner makes noice. Not even water in the bedroom… everything bad.

    I’m sorry, but you go to a hotel to rest and get a good nights rest while away from home, but when you can’t even get that right, it’s all bad! The Hyatt Place appears to have had a renovation recently and made everything look pretty and clean, but it’s sorta like putting lipstick on a pig. To start the woman working the front desk was very unprofessional, talking to her child on her personal cell phone while checking my family and I in. The shower and was clean but the paint on the sealing was peeling. The toilet paper holder had been replaced, but the old holes were never patched. They had a nice comforter on a horrible mattress that you can feel the springs and hear creaking every time you move. They had no phone in the room to call the front desk, so we had to use our personal phone to call the front desk to find out we had to go all the way back downstairs to get a comforter for the pull out bed. This is not the worse hotel, but pretty close. I will say our room was clean, but definitely not comfortable!

    I always choose Hyatt Place for their friendliness and cleanliness. However, the room I stayed in was terrible. Of the 4 pillows on the bed, 2 of them had hair on them. The floor in the bathroom was filthy. The coffee counter still had spills and scum from previous occupants. This was not like any of my other stays. I will not stay there again

    They expected me to wait at the airport for 3 hours for the shuttle. There were barely any towels. The hotel carpet was dirty, the hotel walls were old, the layout of the room was not a good layout. The hotel looks like an old hotel that they barely patched up and are now renting. It's like putting lipstick on a pig. Breakfast was also horrible. The fruit was not fresh, the oatmeal was water and barely any oats, and the boiled eggs looked old. Would not stay here again.

    There are also no phones in the rooms, which I found strange. How should I call the front desk, without a phone. They offered breakfast every morning which was a nice assortment of items. The rooms were nice. And everthing was clean, but they might want to update the mattresses , they seem old, and made my back hurt. Im glad they had a shuttle. The area seemed safe, except on the last day, i noticed there was a white truck with its back driverside window broken into.

    The Fire alarm went off three times in the middle of the night the first night I was there. The third night the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night.     I loved that this hotel was family friendly! The clerk checking us in had her children with her and as a mother myself I love this for her and that the company leads with their heart like this. The hotel itself needs some renovations, my bathroom door in my room looked like a dog chewed it up and needed to be replaced. Overall if it had not been how great the staff was I prob would not stay again. The girl at the front made this stay pleasant.

    Where to start??? I booked this hotel 1. Because we've stayed in a Hyatt Place before and it was impressed with the cleanliness and service. 2. The airport suttle. We landed in Houston at 11pm, called for a shuttle only to be told it would be 1 to 1.5 hour wait..ughhh. We ended up getting a taxi to the hotel. When we arrived the taxi driver went to the back of the hotel where the hotel was surrounded by razor wires on top of the gate. When we finally got dropped off at the door the entry way and lobby smelled of weed (don't mind/don't care I just perfer not to smell like it). The room had a gritty / dirty look to it, like they tried to put a fresh coat of paint on a turd...it's still a turd! Just a simple note to self, we won't stay there again.

    We were in town for a family funeral. We stayed for two nights.The stay was good. The check in was nice. The clerk was nice. The room was nice. The area was nice. We were disappointed that the hotel did not have a full bar/restaurant as advertised, however it wasn't too bad because we were in driving distance of different restaurants. We were also a little disappointed that we did get fresh towels and our room cleaned. We were later told that all we had to do was call down to front desk to request fresh towels.

    This location was disgusting. I kept my clothes on to make it through the night. It was very old and outdated, not clean, rust was very visible, the TV had no signal at all. The staff was extremely sketch(night shift). The area it was located in was in the middle of a freeway and a side road. There was not even a convenient store located nearby. The hotel smelled of marijuana the afternoon staff had her baby at work with her and said there was no way to reach a manager. Not even by email. This place was the equivalent to a Ramada Inn in 2025 or Days Inn or Motel 6 if you catch my drift. I called a friend the next day and got out of there!

    I was very disappointed in the transportation to the airport. I advised staff of my flight and airport. The shuttle driver took me to IAH instead of hobby and caused me to miss my flight. Totally disappointed

    It was only a one night stay, but I did not feel safe at all. The way people were just sitting in the front of the hotel hanging out. They looked like they were up to no good. Therefore I had a sleepless night worrying if my car would be there in the morning.

    There was not an early check in option available, However after waiting for about an hour in the lobby, a room became available. Once in the room, the air conditioner was so noisy, it sounded like an old car running. In addition to, the metal shower rack in the shower was all rusted and the rust stains was arunnning down the shower wall. YUCK!

    When I got to the room, the door wouldn't open. We tried using the two cards they gave us. They moved us to another room because the cards didn't work. There was also a lot of noise in the hallways at all hours.

    No on site food options even though it is advertised around the hotel. Bathroom needed a makover. Room was ok otherwise, bed was comfortable. The buidling is surrounded by barbed wire fencing so it seems like ghe area may be unsafe.

    Property and service is good but the purpose of me staying there was for the free shuttle drop off and pick up from airport. But on the return back to airport the shuttle was broke and we had to get a taxi back to hotel.

    Want to deal with rude and unprofessional staff? Look no further. Asked for towels one night and was told by a black guy at the front desk that I need to bring down my used ones. Then when I went back to my room to bring back the old ones he was extremely rude and said my room was provided with towels and that he really didn’t need to give me any. So my question, are we supposed to use the same towels for all 4 days we were staying there? Use your common sense. When I asked for his name he saids he doesn’t have one. Shame on this black guy who doesn’t have a name. He should be fired immediately and never allowed to interact with customers ever again.

    Clean hotel and friendly staff. Room was nice and clean. Bathroom had this weird smell. It was bearable just unpleasant. Mini fridge didn’t work properly. Kept freezing up and not cooling. The in room phone wasn’t connected to anything just there as decoration. We did receive an email about shortage on towels because something with their vendor. We are family of 3 and we needed an extra wash cloth for the last night and they didn’t have any to give us. Overall nothing major. They do serve breakfast but we never partaken as we were always heading out.

    Coming from the airport, don’t expect a timely shuttle pickup. I waited almost an hour and called the property at least 4 times and was strung along the whole time. Mixed stories, ghosted calls and outright lies.

    Hallway carpet was really smelly...the carpet cleaner came in the next day to wash carpet but that didn't help because it did not dry. The good thing was the smell did not get into my room. Room was very clean.

    Location was a little sketchy. We also had little black bugs in our room. We reported it several times and they were going to send maintenance up to spray, but they never showed. Restaurant also list that they serve food at the bar, signs are visibly posted in the elevators, and they don’t.

    We traveled to Houston for a Graduation party and every family member we told where we were staying referred to this area as ‘Gunspoint’ instead of Greenspoint. They all just said the area has a lot of crime, shootings and that the safeness has gone down over time. Room was clean, shower area was probably the only outdated part. Rust on the towel rack and the silver fixtures in the restroom. The wall closest to the shower had some damage. Also there were exposed wires by the ac unit. Phone was broken in my mom’s room and she told me she ended up googling the hotel just to get to the front desk. We had two king rooms with soda beds and my mom who stayed in the other room needed towels and they could only offer her one towel with one wash cloth and she had to travel downstairs to retrieve it. There were 3 adults and 4 kids split between the two rooms. We were at the end of the hall and stayed one night. Had no issues other than that. Although the hotel was nice, the area itself comes with a Warning. The hotel also has a gate surrounding the whole hotel lot with razored barbed wire. Pictured is my Moms phone. And one of the ac unit my Husband took to make sure they knew about the wires. It was good for a one night stay just stay in your room don’t go venturing out alone at night especially with kids. We were in bed by 10:30.

    The location was very close to the airport. It was directly off of the highway. The hotel was clean, but dated as evidenced by the rust stains, chipped paint, etc. Breakfast was just ok - typical hotel pre-made foods. The area seemed questionably deserted and it looked like the hotel was refurnishing. There were dozens of sofas in the parking lot. The parking was free, which was a bonus, but there was limited parking near the entrance. The doors lock and you are unable to use your key after a certain hour. So, when you arrive late and have to park behind the building, you have to walk all the way around to the front to get in. Most attractions were 45-60 minutes away.

    The only reason we give 4 starts instead of 5 on some of the areas it's because the hotel does needs an update on some areas (remodel/new stuffs and painting) better light and carpet or hard floor in the halways, lighter paint, as well as in the rooms. Our room was too dark even with all the lights on and the courtains open, the restroom towells rack was so old and rusty that it feels not very clean. The sofa bed sheets looks like they were there for a long time, full of dust, the sofa bed mattress feels old, you can feel the wires. Other than that the front desk young lady (pregnant) at night was super helpful and nice, breakfast was good too more than what expect compare to other hotels, do miss the waffles, they do have variety but no waffles. We will stay there again, like the location and the price.

    Business stay. I stay there regularly for the price. They have been updating the property for the last year and i have seen improvements but still a ways to go. Cleam the door shafts, the elevator door shafts. Touch up paint on the wood molding around the lobby , hall ways etc.
