The hotel was great, even with lots of kids because a competition it was quiet. One suggestion is that they put a soap bar holder in the WC sink. I will definitely will be back if I have to stay again near HIA.

We were told there would be breakfast starting at 6 am. Got up early before our flight and they told us it is not until 7 am. Front desk was very rude when we told them about it. Room did not have enough soap. Loud with thin walls.

The staff was fantastic! Very helpful. The breakfast was okay. The room was clean at first sight but I realized that the countertops and bathroom weren’t wiped down well. The coffee maker was challenging. I did like the room set up and was able to get a lot of work done.

The woman who helped us check in around 8pm was rude and didn’t provide any information on the hotel. She also asked us what we were doing in Houston, I thought the manner that she asked it in was weird and rude. Once we got to the room the tv did not work, which we did let the front desk know but it was already late and we didn’t want to wait on someone to come up and fix it. The shower handle was a struggle as a part of it kept breaking off and switching to extremely hot water, and overall the bathroom was the cleanest. We would not recommend this location.

Had a great stay at this hotel! The free breakfast was really good, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was very nice and welcoming. Everything was well kept and made for a relaxing experience. Would definitely stay here again!

The staff was very helpful when checking in and out. The breakfast was quite good with fresh fruit each day of my stay. The shower was had mold on the floor near the shower door which i cleaned myself. Tv channel selection was quite good.

Everything was wonderful. Room clean, good options for the free breakfast, inexpensive parking. The only thing to keep in mind is that is right next to the airport, so you will hear airplanes, but we weren't bothered.

I booked this hotel specifically for shuttle pickup to and from airport and hotel. My flight was delayed 5 hours, but that still left 45 min until they closed (11:30 pm). I called at 10:41pm, they said call when we had our bags. I called at 10:58 and told them we were outside in the pick up area with our bags. They said they were sending someone. The hotel is 8 minutes away. I thought it was a little weird that they didn't ask my name, but no big deal. After 15 minutes, I call again because I know the shuttle hours, 11:30pm close. It was a different lady, she just started her shift, she did apologize, and said she is sending someone. This time i made sure to tell her my name just incase. After another 15 minutes, I walked over checked to see prices for a taxi, while my husband stayed at the pick up area. We paid $40+ $10 tip. Taxi driver asked what hotel, then he said they do shuttles free just call. I told him we had 2 times. We get to the hotel, our driver chuckled and said, "I don't think anyone was coming to get you." I Agreed. We went in, i asked how many shuttles they had, "3, why?" I told her what happened and she said ,he had just got back, that he couldn't find us. I told her, "No ma'am, not possible, those shuttles never came through,. We watched other drivers actually try and never left without their pick up. Hotel was clean with big rooms. If you offer shuttle then do our.

Breakfast staff was friendly, food was marginal. No restaurants, front desk staff was disengaged for the most part. Room was clean and housekeeping staff was friendly and very much wanting to do a good job. The hotel is VERY loud. Can hear every plane departing and arriving at the airport, so needs some sound proofing upgrades.

Every aspect of this hotel was in order & thought out. Clean, orderly, & imviting. The staff were beautifully amenable, always visible, & a wealth of information during my stay. This will be my hotel whenever I fly into & out of Houston. I love this city!!

It’s not clean. Hair and bricks in the bathroom, in the sheets. Also, I request help to make up bed but they refused to provide service. Overnight parking they charged me 20 and later I found spot hero only 7 overnight.

The room was large, bright, well lit, clean and comfortable. Hotel coffee makers are never wonderful. I travel with a Keurig when possible. I like good coffee. I would judge my morning coffee experience as "okay", maybe one step up from tea.

The towels did not seem fresh/clean. And having the tissue box with what l presume was to be a nice touch looked as if someone pulled out a number of tissue and wadded them back in 🤔

Very well maintained super clean very nice staff any issues they were taken care of immediately! I would definitely recommend that you stay in the his hotel! Complementary breakfast was great Area was super clean and sanitized no issues. Staff was very helpful accommodating us where we could cross the streets in a safely manner too go get food. The hotel was quiet at night even with children staying there and the pool was super clean. The drivers for the shuttles were super polite and helpful with our large group of 9 super hard working drivers we appreciated you all. Will definitely come again. Thank you !!!!

On the breakfast the bread is old and the spinach was rotten, and there was not a waffle maker

Also, the layout of the room was very weird. There is a sink with the toilet in one part of the room and then a separate area for the shower and another sink in the room.The doors on both areas are sliding and do nothing to help muffle sounds when you go to the bathroom. So if you are sharing the room, be aware that everyone in the room can hear everything. The TV is in an awkward spot to watch because of the bathroom area layout. We also noticed that the usb plugs on the alarm clock and the lamps stopped working when the light switch in the room was flipped off. So, we couldn’t charge our electronics unless the lights were on. The breakfast layout was not as abundant as it usually is at other hotels. Also, did not have waffles which was super disappointing to my son.

The hotel is very nice. Comfy beds and pillows. The breakfast is not included and costs $13 even if you just want some fruit.

The room was large and nice, but I wish the glass partition between the bed and the living room blocked the light better (one person up earlier than the other). A bit disappointed that the breakfast on weekends didn't start until 7 am. The shuttle was very helpful and the drivers were very friendly.

Great location to stay a night between flights close to IAH. Shuttle service and breakfast included. Beds were comfortable and room has a plenty of space. - shuttle service from the airport worked only after calling the reception twice. And there was no reaction to messages sent via booking asking for the shuttle. The phone call has generated unnecessary costs. - the common areas were not clean. It did not bother us, but leaves a bad impression.

Between midnight and 2 am large crowds of very loud partiers making as much noise as they could. I spoke to other folks who were in the airport bus with me at five in the morning, and it happened on their floor too. Management has got to make an effort to keep that sort of thing to a reasonable level otherwise the hotel is perfect.

Very clean and spacious room. Only issue is we couldn't figure out how to turn off some lights so we had to unplug them from the outlet.

The breakfast was very plain and simple.

The shuttle from the airport is inadequately sized. 11 passengers took 3 different shuttles and a wait of greater than 30 min. We did not use the shuttle to the airport because it only runs very 30 minutes and we couldn’t risk being 30 min or an hour late. I picked the hotel for the shuttle which was a bummer. The beds in the room are comfortable but they are very loud. Every time a person moves, the bed squeaks loudly. There is too much ambient light. The window curtains are too short, a fire alarm flashes, and the door lacks a sweep so there’s a significant amount of light from the hallway. Our shower was broken. The breakfast tasted good and there was variety as expected for a low price. The gym looked great and the pool is outdoors and cold in April, as expected. Staff was average, not friendly or rude. Given the shuttle and room situation, I wouldn’t stay here again.

This is my second staff. My only issues was the bed, very uncomfortable and make noise every time you move. Hotel was clean. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Love the fact they have a shuttle to the airport. Would stay again.

Not a lot of choice for food options within walking distance but that was understood before we booked. And there was a great Mexican food truck only a few minutes away by the gas station.

The only slight negative would be breakfast (we only got it the 1st stay due to timing of our flight) it was not bad by any means just not as good as i would hope from a marriot which is one of the 3 brands i trust to stay at. Powdered eggs frozen sausage type thing. All in all it was an excellent stay both times.

The bed sucked worse than any bed I’ve ever slept on. Imagine putting a mattress pad o. A cement block then making it up like a bed…. That’s how it felt.

This is the second time we stay here due to it being conveniently located next to the airport. This time we asked for towels they never brought them up next day same thing didn't ever bring the towels until the 3rd time we called. We stayed 2 nights and they never cleaned our room. The continental breakfast was pretty bad as well.

Airport shuttle was the only reason for booking but the hotel only runs service till 11:30pm. Would have booked something different. Hotel was clean. Breakfast was very limited.

The staff was very friendly and our room was very clean and had everything we could possibly need, but the bathroom door was one of those sliding doors that I absolutely DESPISE having in hotels. Not only is there no lock on the door, but because it slides, there's a huge gap where you can peek in/out through. There's also no extractor, so you can hear EVERYTHING going on in there. It can be really awkward if you're sharing the room with friends, which we were. As trivial as it may seem, something like this keeps me from booking somewhere again. Bring back bathroom privacy in hotels!! Lol.

Gym was adequate for what I used it for. I think it's as equipped as it can be given the space constraints. Overall, any of the staff I came into contact with were very attentive and courteous. Shuttle drivers were equally pleasant and conversational. All in all, I would gladly stay again and recommend it to friends making a quick trip to Houston.

We were 3 adults in a room, and the room was spacious. There was a sofa couch and a room divider for privacy. The bathroom was large and well distributed for ease of sharing. Great location for an early flight. There's a free airport shuttle and breakfast. Unfortunately, we couldn't use these perks because our flight was at 5 am Thin walls, and unfortunately it was noisy. The room was not cleaned properly. The table and nightstand were dirty. We called to let them know, however, the cleaning staff was very busy so it was not cleaned during our stay, hence the lower rating.

Room was ready before check-in time, which was a great help! All staff was very welcoming and informative. Free breakfast in morning was more than we had anticipated. Beds were comfortable and room was quiet. Several places close by for something to eat. Nothing, enjoyed our 1 night stay.

We stayed there on our way out to a cruise in Galveston and we stayed on our way back from the cruise. It’s very convenient and very easy to get to the airport and the airport shuttle is VERY nice and easy. I would definitely stay here if I were doing this trip again.

They made a beautiful swan arrangement with towels and fresh flower petals when I told them we were in town for our 53rd anniversary. Had a very good warm breakfast. Very nice place and real close to the airport.

The check in was a breeze. We arrived off our cruise at 830 am and arrived at the hotel at 11, and they were able to give us 1 room to store our luggage until the second room was ready. The staff were friendly and courteous. I will be recommending the hotel to my friends that travel. I can't say enough great things about this hotel.

Breakfast was another complaint. We understand it’s complimentary and don’t have high standards, but when the eggs smell fishy and gravy taste nothing like gravy, it’s hard to enjoy it. Had they had more to choose from, it would have helped.

It didn’t show up until 11:50. I was getting very nervous and went in twice to speak to the desk person to see what was going on.

First of all, the toilet wasn’t working and one of the beds was super creaky. Most of the furniture was old. The coffee machine in the room was also inconvenient and not modernized. For a 9/10 rated hotel, I was definitely not impressed.

The advertising of free shuttle to the airport is deceiving as it doesn’t start until 5am even though it’s for an international airport. I would have found another hotel if I knew that as I had to Uber to the airport.

Only downside would be that there's no soundproofing to limit the noise from the airport but it isn't a deal breaker for us.

Airport shuttle was great, room was clean, shower head was a bit corroded and impeded flow some. Shower temperature wouldn't stay constant, a little odd having toilet right in front of bed. Overall good stay though. Would stay there again.

This hotel feels less than a holiday inn express. Toothbrushes are not complementary. The rooms are also small. Don’t think I will book a Marriott springwood anytime again.

Everything about this hotel was "meh." We stayed there five nights and they only came to clean/make up the room once. The beds were uncomfortable, the doors were warped, the toilet is in a different room from the shower (this has benefits and drawbacks, but I mostly found it annoying), and the bathroom door was frosted glass, so if you turned the light on in there at night, it lit up the whole room, even if the door was closed. The breakfast was whatever, and the customer service left much to be desired. It wasn't awful, but it also wasn't good. It definitely wasn't worth the cost. There was also some sketchy car rental business running out the back of the hotel. I've stayed with this chain multiple times in other places and it's been great, but I definitely won't stay at this place again.

The check-in staff was so helpful and the room is large and clean. The shuttle to the airport makes it easy in the morning. I would definitely stay here again

Very convenient hotel with friendly staff. Only 4 minutes away from car rental 6 minutes away from the IAH George Bush intercontinental airport. Lots of gasoline station nearby, make it very convenient to fuel up before returning to the car rental. Complimentary breakfast selections was good enough, very satisfy.

The double queen layout was excellent.

Traveling through from surgery. Upon check in the front desk was flirting with a hotel guest for a long time which I wouldn’t normally care but standing and waiting was very difficult for me. While trying to rest in my room maintenance kept knocking at the door and asking about a fire alarm. Again it was very hard for me to get up and down. I advised multiple times there was no alarm going off. The front desk called me about this twice I’m assuming different shifts (again moving was very hard for me), they came into the room and looked to confirm there was no alarm as I’d stated 5 separate times already. Very difficult for someone not very mobile.

This was a wonderful hotel stay after being in the hot Austin sun weekend. We went to the F1 race, but we were flying back home out of Houston. The ride to Houston was long but this hotel was so nice. We were glad to get a clean and comfortable place near the airport. The checkin was so easy and the receptionist was knowledgeable about the area and gave us a great recommendation for food at a late hour. I’ll definitely stay here if I’m ever back in Houston!

This was the nicest hotel I have stayed at in a long while and I stay in hotels a lot for my business. High ceilings, floors are nice, no carpet, shower and toilet were separate, coffee & breakfast fantastic, staff was nice, pool was clean, and it was quiet even though the hotel was fully booked. I stayed in room 530. I will definitely stay here again.

Had a 5 AM flight so we stayed close. Thought this would be a good location. Heard planes at midnight. Other people coming in and out of their rooms at all hours. Slept horribly would have been better off leaving two hours early from home.

We chose this after we missed a connecting flight. Airport shuttle pick up took 45 minutes but it got us there. Upon arrival quick check in. TV in the room did not work despite multiple efforts 😕 but it was a good place to lay our head before our new flight the next day.

Nice hotel for a night close to the airport

The room was great. It was impressive really. The bathroom near the workout room was dirty with no paper towels, toilet paper on the floors and poopy toilet. This was at 6am. I went tho the front desk to let the guy know that the toilet needs service and the first thing he asked me was “ are you checked in ”? I thought to myself no dude I just walked in and use your rest room 🙄. He said the night shift cleaned the bathroom and I said it doesn’t look like it. He said well he can’t go and clean it himself , I told him I don’t expect you to, I just want to let you know so you can send someone. There’s dirty towels on the swimming pool table , that was left overnight. Breakfast was at 7am and the food was average. No coffee made at 6am.

And one interesting fact is, neither toilet or the bathroom have door locks. Its quite disturbing for a family of 4 ppl.

It was all good. This is an airport hotel which was very noisy with aircraft taking off about every 20 min. Bring ear plugs.

Room was spacious and nice. Only problem was the shuttle- there was only one bus so we waited 40 minutes to be picked up and then it wasn’t available in the morning for the early flight.

The bed was HORRENDOUS! Mattress was more like a seat cushion, and the bed frame made loud noises any time we would move. Would not stay here again.

To make matters worse, we had an issue with the toilet that we had to unclog ourselves—something no guest should have to deal with. The mattress was extremely firm and uncomfortable, which made for restless nights. There was also no clear communication that daily housekeeping had to be requested in advance. That lack of instruction left us with overflowing trash and unmade beds. Overall, this was far from one of my favorite hotel stays. “Average” would be generous. I expected better from a brand like SpringHill, especially when booking through Expedia.

As a Marriott Bonvoys member I was surprised by this hotel in an unimpressed way. The lobby and social areas were clean. The room was not. It had a foul smell, like moldy water/water damage. The bathroom with the toilet was not clean. The area of the hotel is not walkable for guests without cars. Very convenient to the airport. Airport shuttle was quick and efficient. Staff was professional and quick. Not very conversational but not rude.

Staff at front desk lie about their guests. Van driver dropped us off at the wrong stop on purpose.

I really like suite-style properties like this one. The rooms are spacious and the complimentary breakfast offered good options. I was disappointed that the on-site bar was not staffed, but the market area and restaurant at adjacent sister property met my needs. I also appreciated flexibility when requesting a late checkout. Overall good, shuttle to airport is very convenient every half hr starting at 5am. My only complaint is that they charged me for parking when I didn't even bring my car. I gave my card for incidentals and somehow they charged me for parking :/ luckily I saw it in my credit card statement so I had to call them and I'm waiting on a reimbursement.

I appreciated the shuttle to and from the airport. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. My only complaint was the room across the hall was very loud. It woke me a couple of times, but I was too exhausted to get out of bed and report them or confront them.
