The hotel needs updating.

Staff was wonderful, I am handicapped and they were above and beyond helpful. The property is an older Hampton but was clean.

The rooms are dated but the staff is amazing. Great for an overnight stay if you have a layover! Shuttle service was prompt!

Sink leaking Housekeeping came before check out and myself and my guest weren’t made aware housekeeping was every 3 days Water didn’t get hot enough at all Shower head spewed hot water in the back and cold in the front: uneven pressure Spots on the walls Iron didn’t work Didn’t have enough towels (I had a double bedroom with a guest) A/c kept changing to its own temperature. Paying for parking wasn’t a bad price but I called the hotel beforehand and I should’ve been made aware of the price I asked for late checkout when I booked, when I checked in and day of check out, offered to pay and was declined because I was not a high tiered member. How can someone book more stays, when the service and room isn’t up to par. I can’t rack up points to up my tier if my stay isn’t pleasant. It left a bad taste for my guest and myself

The size of the room and cleanliness Location was very close to the airport and not much else. But in fairness we chose it for the proximity to the airport.

We liked the airport shuttle services. The drivers were very good and very friendly.

One night stay and conveniently close to the airport. Less than 3min drive from the rental car Depot to the hotel. About 18min downtown area. No complaints.

Fire Alarm Control Panel was beeping during our check-in. Clerk stated that they were working on it and it should be ok. At 2AM, we were awakened in our room by the fire alarm and flashing strobe light. We evacuated the room and when we reached the 1st floor, the clerk told us there was no fire, that the control panel was still not working properly. The alarm was silenced, but the strobe continued to flash in our room. We checked out and took an Uber to the airport; should have walked away at check-in.

We didn't stay long just over night for an early flight. However, the staff was very helpful and understanding in returning my lost jewelry. Overall, the room very clean and well-kept. The airport shuttles were prompt with friendly drivers.

Room was fine for our needs. Called to ask what time the shuttle would pick us up. Gave her our name but she said she did not have a reservation for us. I gave her our reservation number and she she didn't have that reservation number. We called back and asked when the schedule was coming thru and she said soon. We waited at the very small area for hotel shuttles and it did not come for over 40 min. So altogether an hour process. While we were waiting it was very load and a lot of fumes. When we reached the hotel there was a long line and only one person working. She was doing her best but needed more help. When we got to the counter and showed her our confirmation email she found our reservation. To difficult of a process. There was four of us, two rooms. We will look for a another place to stay next time in Houston.

Its in a great location right next to the airport. And they have free airport shuttling to and from the airport. The room smelled like chlorine and was very humid, and everything felt kinda sticky. The lights in the bathroom also had a permanent flicker.

Got more irritated when I asked why I was being charged $10 for parking when we were going to be there not even a full day? Why wouldn't parking come with the room? Then z bunch of extra taxes were added?...I guess because we were close to the airport??? Would not recommend this hotel...and disappointed in Booking.com for allowing thus to happen within their website, service parameters. :(

It is close to the refresh car return area. Kids were running down the halls around midnight and then someone was outside near the room taking loudly on the phone. It was hard to get any sleep before we headed to the airport to catch our pre-dawn flight. Facilities and staff were fine.

Convenient to airports for an early morning flight. I checked in and told the front desk that I was going to go drop off my rental car. I was given a number to call for a courtesy pick up from rental car lot. This was a great amenity. The van was nice and clean and very comfortable. We could not shower or use the restrooms until the issue was resolved which took several hours. There was also a major problem with the cable service during that evening and the next day. We were able to fully use the room late that afternoon upon arrival. They offered us bottled water at no charge as a courtesy, but a couple of days later the receptionist told us we needed to purchase water. The room was nice but needed some remodeling. Not sure when the carpet was last washed but, it definitely needed a major steam cleaning. Wallpaper inside room near window was peeling off wall, The coffee pot inside room was extremely dusty. We were never offered any compensation for the non-use of service during the water incident. There was also major construction right outside the hotel on the main road.

Room was clean but the TV didn't work . The day that we went, the elevators weren't working? And people had to go up the stairs to their rooms. Thankfully, I had a first floor room. So I didn't have to worry about that. Staff was we're nice.

Shuttle bus es always a good point. Location is very convenient and it is clean. I liked there is free breakfast which is very nice I always use this hotel for transit, and I always liked the stay. But this time it was not so good because my room had full of mold smell and could feel humidity, I saw the bathroom ceiling and saw the ceiling was almost falling off the paint (maybe leaking from upstairs,, I could see the cause of this humidity and mold smell in the room. Too bad.

They accommodate us by giving us our room early after getting off the cruise ship. Our friend traveling with us was impressed with how many plugs were in the room too! We were walking distance from the hotel to restaurants. I will come back

Stayed at this hotel several times over the past two years. Rooms were clean, staff was very pleasant. Breakfast was definitely a plus. Already have another reservation for a future trip.

Decent hotel for a quick stay overnight before an early flight. Not much else to write home about.

I really liked that they had a shuttle service from the Airport to the establishments and back. The staff was really nice, and when I checked in, they even advised me on what time I should check out, depending on when my flight was leaving the next day, due to long lines at the airport. The only thing I didn't really like was the breakfast selection. I expected it to be a bit bigger and more varied, but it was still good!

Typical airport hotel. Had an odd smell but was clean.

The shuttle took over an hour to pick us up. They advertise that they have a shuttle but don’t tell you it can take an hour. We called them 3 times snd they said it’s almost there every time! We were tired from our flight and that is the last thing you need is standing around waiting. Then we learned the shuttle does not reference Hampton inn. It says holiday inn San Antonio, yet we were in Houston. Total morons this place is!

We stayed one night because we had a very early flight. The hotel was near the airport and they offered a free shuttle which was nice. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. They offered a free breakfast but we left too early (4 am) to get to try it.

The staff and property of the Hampton Inn Airport Hotel were very good. Close to some shopping and restaurants, plus there is a shuttle to IAH.

Clean and close to the airport You are supposed to have shuttle from the airport and they never came to pick us up, we waited over 2 hrs for uber and they also never came! We called your hotel and we never got connected! We have to pay over $40. To get us to your hotel! And when we told the front desk seems they didn’t care! I asked how come the phones were never answer and they said the phones were not working!!!! Are you kidding me!!! I will never use your hotels anywhere in the world! I have a mom with me fighting cancer and we were outside of the airport trying to see how we could connect to your hotel!! Unacceptable

This hotel was perfect for a one night stay. The shuttle was easy, you call on arrival. The lady who picked us up was friendly and full of knowledgble for food options. There is a jack in the box right next door along with a Mexican food truck and a gas station. There is a Tim Hortons within a 5 min walk. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The front desk staff were also friendly and welcoming. The only issue we had was with the TV and cutting in and out of service.

The room was light and bright, super clean and the bathroom was great with big walk in shower. Everything seemed to be updated/new and I liked the modern touch with the barn door and modern fixtures. Upon entering our room it seemed very musty or moldy. We didnt say anything figuring they wouldnt do anything.

In general it was a great staying and accommodating for a transit stay near the airport. The breakfast was plenty good and the shuttle to the airport very practical. I recommend it!

Hotel is about 7 minutes from airport. It’s a good hotel for a night or two before leaving out. I would not stay here if I were visiting Houston and wanted a luxurious experience. Not as clean as it could be.

Worst Hampton stay ever! Room had stains and smelled like pee. We went down for breakfast at 8am and they were out of almost everything including juice. After waiting 10 minutes to refill we went to Tim Hortons for breakfast. Stay away!

Receptionist was having a bad day and very cranky and I woke with an enormous amount of ants in my bed.

We had a late check in and early departure due to connecting flights and the staff was very helpful with airport tips and shuttle to the airport at 6am. Quick trip to the airport (5min) but they do not run a shuttle at 12:30am and uber was $56. Staff was polite and bed was comfortable. Would stay again but would plan ahead for non shuttle times.

Hotel is showing its age and the rooms weren't as clean as I would like. The biggest issue was cleaning crews barging into our room both mornings (do not disturb hung on door) and waking us up in a panic. Beds were not very comfortable either. Staff however at the front desk was always very nice and pleasant.

The property seemed run down and in need of some work. The room and bathroom were not very clean. The lobby is really nice. The pool was just fine. But having a clean bathroom and room is important and this property needs some work. It was fine for what I needed it for, a place to stay close to the airport for an early flight. I would not book it again.

Pool was a bit too cold for our kids to swim in but it looked decent. Rooms were clean and in good condition. Breakfast was a bit disappointing.

I would never in my life stay there again . I am a Hilton honors customer and i had blood on my comforter. I went to the front desk several times and not a damn thing was done about it. Tia said she would get me a new blanket, Arthur apologized but did nothing . I will NEVER Stay there again. It was sub par dirty and the staff was not helpful.

On entering the hotel, I thought it was very nice and clean. The receptionist was nice. As we got to our room when I inspected everything which I do always I thought the rooms were very clean and comfortable and I would recommend them and I’m sure when we have to fly somewhere again we will be back.

We arrive at the airport at 1030 called for pickup and went to the pick up location, waited till 11:15 and called was told they were there and left. And it was too late as the driver went home. Had to get a $49 uber to get there. The girl at the desk could have cared less. Didn’t even offer an apology

Room was good. Breakfast was standard. Disappointed that the “free airport shuttle” doesn’t operate all hours that flights come in. It’s why I booked there and had to pay $25 for an uber once I was told the shuttle didn’t run past 11. Won’t be back for that reason as it added 10% to my entire stay.

Room was fine, but I had booked the hotel because they told me they had an airport shuttle. I even called the front desk to confirm before booking. My flight arrived 15 mins late, and i called the hotel at 11:12 PM, they stopped running the hotel shuttle at 11pm. I had to pay for an uber to the hotel.

My flight to Houston was delayed and I didn’t arrive at the hotel until 3am. The staff working was very friendly and helpful. She made check in very smooth. The breakfast was delicious.

Staff was the best ever! During the ice storm they stayed all weekend and looked after the guests! They served us and sacrificed when they could have been home with their families. Thank you so very much. On another note: best hotel gym ive been in.

The check in staff was great. They make up for the crappy traffic and the fact that I had to make a U turn and go back up the road a quarter mile to get to this hotel. Not your fault. Houston traffic is horrible.

Is a pretty nice hotel for a reasonable price. It is noisy, due to the airport, but that's why you would stay there, proximity to the airport.

And to make things worse, the neighbor property was doing landscape maintenance with gas powered tools until 1 am. But then they started back up at 3 am. Hotel staff said they couldn't do anything about it. I went out and talked to the guy and he apologized and stopped. Disappointed that the hotel staff didn't offer to talk to them. Room was clean, breakfast was typical, staff was friendly, but not helpful that night.

To rest and rover with minimal noise until 9am. Housekeeping as knocking on the door by 10:30 and woke me up before discharge time.

Hotel is clean and staff is friendly and willing to help. Breakfast choices were great and food was great tasting. We received an upgrade in our room and we had plenty of room to move around. The bed was comfortable and clean as was the rest of the room.

The ladies at check in was great and helped us greatly. Shuttle service was great as well.

Stayed 12 hrs & it was very loud where I couldn’t sleep. From vacuuming & banging on the walls/door while doing so, to airplanes flying over the very 10-20 mins.

Shuttle to the airport was effortless. Front staff were friendly and efficient. There’s luggage storage, if needed. Only downside of our stay is the plane noise . Hotel is located on a plane take off path. That said, the frequency slows down drastically after 10 pm and stopped at around midnight.

I contacted expedia about a cancelatio. Or date change. The persons to whom i spoke did not understand english well enough to process the change. The agent could not understand the IT NUMBER. He told me i could not change or cancel the reservation. I asked to speak to a supervidor .he said there were no supervisors. Also no native enlish speakers. He hung up on me. . I spoke with another agent who told me i could cancel.but would have to pay a cancelation fee of $399.00. He based that fee on a room charge of.$1060.00.because he could not understand.the amount of the room charge., which was $106.40. . He also hung up on me. I wasted 4 hours on the phome yesterday trying to resolve the issue and could not get an answer. This s the worst customer service i have experienced. Please issue a refund since i could not Get to the aiirport due to snow and ice packed roads.

⸻ I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites by Bush International Airport in Houston, and overall had a great experience. The staff was excellent—truly 10/10 service from check-in to check-out. The location was also super convenient, with a gas station right nearby in case I needed anything, plus Jack in the Box and Taco Bell within close reach. I also liked that the DoubleTree next door has a bar and restaurant, which gave me an easy dining option in the evenings. The only downside for me was the breakfast variety. I didn’t really enjoy the options and felt like it could have been better and more diverse. Other than that, I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

My stay at the Hampton Inn was ok, but I didn’t care the smell when I walked in. Also the bed was completely too hard and uncomfortable to get a good nights rest. I woke up with body and back pains.

Well, There was 2 humongest spider on my bed while I was trying to go to bed after shower. I freak out and did not sleep well at all. I have brought up this issue to the fronk desk. They acted like it was normal. I have to say huge huge colorful spider.I even have picture for the front desk.

A group of 4 girls ended up here after a flight cancellation. Easy free shuttle access to and from the airport to the hotel. The shuttle driver was so nice and gave us information about where to get food that was walkable. The front desk check in was smooth. The rooms smelled a little musty, however they were clean and offered TV and all the toiletries for showering (the towels could definitely use updating). The front desk held our bags the next day after giving us extended check out since we had a late evening flight. The gym at this hotel was spectacular. It had ellipticals, a peloton bike, treadmills, cables, benches, and free weights. It was big and nicer than most hotels. We also enjoyed the breakfast and coffee bar. Plenty of options for everyone even for a healthy eater. They sell snacks and alcohol at a small shop near the front desk. However, there is an amazing authentic Mexican food truck always parked out back of the hotel and open till midnight (Taqueria Tumax). Also, there is a plaza that is about a 6-minute walk to the hotel that has a liquor store, dive bar, and several restaurant choices. They also have an outdoor pool but we did not use it so I can't speak for that. For an unexpected stay this Hampton Inn did not disappoint. The service was beyond friendly and so accommodating so it made our long journey home worth it. We are glad we picked this airport hotel out of all of them.

Courteous staff, clean room. The only problem was that we booked this hotel because it had an airport shuttle. Unfortunately, it stops at 11pm. Our flight arrived at 11:30pm. We had to pay for an Uber. Our luggage was lost so when we went back to the airforce the next morning to pick it up, we waited an hour for the next shuttle. Frustrating.

The property was just a short 5-7 min drive away from the airport. Restaurants, fast fake food were just within a 10 min walk away. Very comfortable bed and clean room. If you are someone who enjoys a very quiet property and go to sleep early you'll need ear plugs. Because it's an airport hotel you hear the key engines until around 10pm.

spotless, great staff. However, very time consuming & difficult to get in contact with the hotel shuttle and confirm that the shuttle was coming to the pick up point. I only could all an 800 # which to 2 calls and way too long. Why can't a traveler be able to just call the local phone number for the hotel that is sending the shuttle? That seems like a very simple improvement and easy to do for everyone.

My room smelled funny due to the air conditioner. I requested a new room and got it with no issues. The only thing I would change is having the shuttle run all night. Being a woman traveling alone in Houston is a bit scary especially when I had to figure out a way to get to the motel. We aren’t all experienced with Uber or Lyft.

I did a reservation at 11:55pm Florida time so I could arrive in the morning and take a shower and sleep two or three hours. I arrived at 8:30am and the front desk representative tells me they gave my room to someone else and canceled my reservation as a no show, because I didn’t check in before 12:00am…. That is really incoherent …. I had 5 minutes to arrive to the hotel to be able to keep my reservation? I am a gold member and is the first time it happens to me with an airport hotel.

The room smelt bleachy

The hotel itself is very close to the airport which is convenient. A couple of gas stations and convenience stores nearby. What we didn’t like was Vape Store next door and odors of Marijuana getting to your car. Hotel itself is in good shape. Few stains in the carpet. I did like that the front desk staff was bilingual. Breakfast food is typical. However the potatoes served at breakfast are awful. Refresh your offerings.

We were surprised by the parking fee that wasn’t listed when we booked. The noise from the flying by airplane was bad. The breakfast was ok, but without decaffeinated coffee was disappointing.

Convenient for one night.

The mattress was uncomfortable. Also, there was only liquid soap, and it was too far away from the sink to be convenient very useful. There was no safe in the room. Also, there was no regular airport pick up van service, and you had to call the hotel to arrange to be picked up at the airport — and it was very very difficult to find the hotel telephone number. Altogether, I would give this hotel a B minus or C plus.

We booked 3 rooms on this visit, as we where heading out on a cruise. The beds where ok, the bathroom was clean and it was a fine place to rest and clean up. The staff was very helpful in helping us find a good place to eat dinner. The next morning we had breakfast and I am not sure what they put in the waffle batter but WOW that was a good way to start my day!

The shuttle driver from the airport could not get us for 2 hours. So we had to pay $20.00 for an Uber. Our fitted sheets would not stay on the bed. We were told we would have to go get new ones. We did and remade the bed ourselves but they were no better. Also there was a dirty washcloth hanging in the shower and they sent the shuttle driver to get it. Not happy with our stay. They should have a shuttle driver in the area for pickup at 1:30 pm.

They stick you with a mandatory $10 fee to park in there basic parking lot. Nothing you can do about it you already have a reservation you can't back out and it's a mandatory fee that's taken out of your deposit. Bogus.

Cons: We found the room to be unclean - there were dark black hairs in the shower area, on the shampoo and sink. The floor immediately upon entering the room was sticky. The noise from overheard aircraft is incredibly loud although it doesn’t go on all night and we did have a decent sleep. Facilities: The breakfast is basic but tasty & warm - fresh waffles, eggs and sausages as well as fruit, cereal and yoghurts. Coffee was free and tasty. Plenty of convenience stores around and a small shop in reception. Gym was clean and good range of equipment. The pool area is clean. The pool itself looked clean and fresh. The chairs/loungers looked worn and uncomfortable. Overall for what we paid we got what was to be expected - decent sleep, good breakfast, lovely staff, not the cleanest!

Did not like the beds

The hotel was very nice. What I did not like is the way Expedia handled our checking in. We were not able to check in with our Expedia reservation because Expedia failed to notify the hotel of our change in one night on the reservation. I received an email confirming the change. but Expedia did not send the correction to the hotel. We ended up paying for the hotel room on our own, not through Expedia. I will never consider using Expedia ever again unless you give us a refund or a credit. When we called Expedia from the hotel your representative spun us around in circle for 45 minutes resolving nothing. If this is the way you treat customers you will not be in business much longer.

Clean and comfortable

We arrived just passed midnight and were given a room but when we entered it was occupied by a guy. Scared the crap out of me to enter an occupied room. After getting it sorted out we were given anoyher room. Found out the toiled seat had someones hair in it. Bed is not very comfortable. Breakfast is mediocre and it closed 1 minute before 10 am. The lady didn't even let me get orange juice and said the machine was off. Also if you depend on the shuttle, know that it stops running at 11 pm.
