I like the ease in which it takes to check in The pool is exceptional.. RedRoof is my pick for the summer. I saw a roach or two.

the beds were clean and very comfortable. The staff was accommodating and friendly. First room had stained bedsheets, bathtub faucet handle was a big nail, room had an odd smell. Switched to second room: urine smell, dirty bath towel, no body lotion.

All our rooms were bad some full of bugs the covers had holes in them we had to go purchase our own not enough towels were cleaned for use

The police called me because the front desk clerk gave them my information about a another room and they kept calling

They actually wouldn't let me check in because I have a lot of belongings well I did till I was refused a room after paying on my card so I had to wait 3 days to get a refund and I had to sleep outside 3 days When I finally got my refund I went to check into traverlodge and literally everything I own was stolen and taken back into the same motel that denied me a room because of my stuff up because I had too much stuff the people stole everything and took it right in that hotel through the lobby because you have to have a key to go through the gate it's a gated motel so they have these people on camera bringing my stuff in there and they did nothing and they they let them go in and I couldn't so I feel like it was a racist thing

The staff was awesome during checking in and out. The room was clean,I love the refrigerator in the room it worked very well kept the food froze and cold. The kitchen layout was very well kept up. Ony problem was there wasn't a hook to hold the shower head and there was a gap at the door frame where the cold air came in. Need to be more secured otherwise than that it was a good stay and a well lit area.

I called Expedia but I got nowhere and they got my $$$

The bed and shower were fine but the room was a little too dirty for my liking. There were too many places around the room that could have you some scrubbing. Maybe I should have had someone do a little more cleaning while I was out one day.

We checked in and checked right out! The room was filthy, no sleeper sofa like advertised. The bed sheets had all kinds of stains on them. The drawers had old pizza boxes in them. Lock on inside of door was broken off, so not exactly sure what kind of activity takes place there. Definitely would not recommend.

There were no non-smoking rooms avail(which is what we reserved) the 1st room had a eater leak, 2nd room key access didnt work, 3rd rm in the 3rd floor didnt have elevator access. Sheets had cigarette burns & stains, the rooms had a bad odor, the walls and floors had dtaine Frint desk personnel were rude

It has been decent since we moved rooms. The room we had on the first floor was disgusting. It was infested with different types of bugs and roaches. The beds were nasty. The sheets were disgusting. They had stains all over them as if not washed and the mattress pad was soaked in pee. It was never taken off prior to us and washed or changed. It was absolutely disgusting. There was a dead roach smashed into the ceiling and on the tv.

The front desk hostess was very accommodating. The mattress and pillows were very hard and uncomfortable. Part of the room needed repairs. Someone had lined the tub with an oily substance that made the first shower very dangerous!

A/c not working at all 2 inch gap under the door, water was coming into the room because it was raining, glad it stopped raining Location is hidden behind bldgs not visible from highway sign too small

The room was in poor condition and needs remodled/repaired. While the television worked, the entertainment did not (whether satellite or internet based).

Filthy room and roach infested

I stayed in a smoking room and it was so clean you couldn't even smell that anyone had smoked in there absolutely perfect I don't smoke my husband does and it was great very clean room the only thing is the doors in properly lock do you need help and there were big spaces in the door frame and the door and they don't serve breakfast vending machines were almost empty only thing wrong.

The room looks old the bedspread had a burn hole I will never stay there again

This hotel is a nice place to stay. Clean environment and comfortable bed to sleep in. I didn't stay long but next time I will.

Worst experience of my life. I was in the room for 10 minutes. Roaches, dirty sheets, broken door, blood stain on the floor and more roaches. A disgusting experience. Property looked like a giant crack house.

The room was atrocious!! The linen was stained. We had to screen the beds for bugs. The furniture was dirty and smelly. This was an absolutely horrible experience. There are people living in this hotel. We thought we were getting a suite for 6 people and upon check in they told us we could not have six people in the room as listed. There were people with whole families living there. I’m appalled by all of it. NEVER AGAIN.

First off the Tv only got one channel it took forever for someone to come fix it. Second the bed sheets were dirty and the room smelled of marajuana. Next the shower had a hole in the tub and no slip mat, and I fell in the tub because it was very slippery as I was stepping into it to take a shower. The towels felt like sandpaper when drying off and there was remnants of someone’s smoke pipe left near the ironing board. As for the facility itself there were people yelling and banging around until way in the next morning. I was not able to get any sleep so I just decided that at 4:00 am I would be better off checking out and trying to catch a nap in my car. Very horrible experience for me this stay. I would not recommend this again after this experience it was awful. I give it a 0/10 if there was a lower rating this place would get it.

There was no shower head and no air conditioner. Front desk refused a refund

Check in was great. The lady was very accommodating by helping me with laundry and putting me close to the machines. When i got ready to go to sleep, i found bedbugs in both beds and pillows. This was room 208. I called the front desk to change rooms. At this point their shift had changed. I was told all he could do was refund my money and check me out. I had to tell him several times that option was unacceptable, as it was very late, after midnight and i have my epileptic son with me who needed his rest. He did switch rooms for me, but acted as if he was doing me the biggest favor. He mentioned several times about a policy and i was only given about 5 minutes to change rooms. The tv remote in the new room only worked to turn tv on & off. I've stayed here before and this has been by far THE WORST experience ive ever had.

Besides the shady people walking around the hotel, the room is old, linen is falling apart, tub has been painted over and paint is peeling off on most of the tub , water goes from hot to cold back to hot, the entire hotel is run down

Really don’t come here

We had a terrible stay. The room smelled so bad. The baseboards had mold. No towels or soap. Bed linen was wet. Pillow smelled so musty. If we had found another hotel that night I would have left.

It was not that pleasant to stay there at all…

There was bedbugs and the a/c wasn’t working good so the room was humid. There was burn holes on the bedsheets which was in the nonsmoking rooms. Sometimes the TV worked sometimes it didn’t.

This hotel was a hot mess. The front desk was the only saving grace of this place. First, we ended up getting a key to someone else’s room. When we finally got a different room, the a/c unit was broken, the curtain did not close all the way, and the toilet did not flush properly. It was just a big disappointment.

Check in was a whole other story. They don't communicate. He gave me a key and didn't say anything other than that. Where is the room? Where should I park? Then looked at me as if I were stupid for asking. A waste of money and completely disgusting property.

I was nice and quiet but there were some bushes right in front of our door way full of bees they were just flying all around had to be careful when you open the door we killed three in our room

The front desk would not honor the reservation that I booked online (after standing in line for 45 minutes to get my room key) and required cash. It was 2 AM, and I didn't have a car, so I just paid (again). My TV set didn't work and I was awakened by a jackhammer because the room under mine was being renovated. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!

I chose thos hotel becauae.it is pet friendly the only problem i had was the pet area.waa so full of poo. I had my own bags but the bag holder was empty which probably contributed the large amount of piles

We loved how spacious the suite we booked was! Everything was great minus the checking in problems and then soap provided for showeres was not great. Other than that we had no issues and enjoyed our stay here. The kids did not want to leave lol.

This is our go to place to stay. There is always some kind of drama with other customers staying but hey nowadays where is there not drama? Lol we live it here and the staff is amazing!

Staff were super friendly, room is nice but a bit of cleaning in certain areas were ignored like counters. Room is spacious and it's always super convenient to have a microwave and fridge in room.

Outstanding performance from front desk staff...I arrived early around 11am and check in is stated at 3pm but they allowed me to check in with no additional charge...I've stayed at this motel manly times and it's always been above exceptional experience...I will return 👍

There were bugs in the shower and in the room on the floor. Smelled of smoke in a non smoking room and the restroom door was broken, curtains on window broken and the shower floor was not solid.

Looked like the haven’t moved in months. The stove didn’t work very well. Pit bulls in just about every room. And we found what looks like to be an old baggie of meth in our room. Would not recommend.

This stay was like a breath of fresh air! I have stayed in several of the hotels in the area and this hands down the best. They have security, the staff was friendly and they seemed happy to be there and help. Ok so I killed a couple of roaches and there may have been a stain or two here and there, I’ll say this: Red Roof Inn, you deserve a round of applause 👏 thank you for giving me a great two nights of my work week! Anytime I’m in the area for work or play, I will stay there with y’all!

The property condition was little better than a crack house. The room smelled like cigarettes and pot so bad we went and bought febreeze just to be able to stand it for the night. The desk clerk was rude. The beds were uncomfortable. Bed Springs were poking through the mattress. Terrible experience, canceled my reservation for when return. Never again!

The property was convenient for my purpose and the staff at check in and put was fast and friendly however the room needed to be a might bit cleaner the floors weren't cleaned properly and the comforter had holes in it. The staff member at check on told us to use the elevator we did however only once it sounded like it was going to either fall or just get stuck all together and it smelled like Cannabis inside.

They had me sit in lobby for 4 hours before checking in , or pay them an extra 30 dollars.

Although it was a smoking room in which we had to choose because of time of night however the room smelled as if the cigarette was still being smoked when we walked in.

Put trash can outside and towels by the door when I left and housekeeping did not take trash or put new towels.

This place is gross. Our room was disgusting, nobody had cleaned it in a while. There was black mold all over the place. Our door was broken. Would never go back

The staff was friendly and courteous, the room was "do-able", but this wouldn't be my first choice. Overall, you get what you paid for.

Upon arrival the front lady Candace was outside out the phone smoking cussing about her baby daddy. A lot of guest walking around outside uncomfortable feeling. Plus the washer and dryer half work. Literally spent 8$ to wash 1 load

What a nightmare. Within 30 minutes this place was like a zoo or a circus. People slamming doors.. arguing and yelling from the bottom floor to the 3rd floor..constant banging and chaos..I let a few hours go by hoping things would calm down. It never did. I called the front desk and spoke to Candace and explained the situation. She then went to the people and told them they had to settle down because the people in room 103 are complaining. Because she said that they Retaliated all night long. Saying that they know one of the cars in the parking lot was ours and we have to come out of the room sometime. The hotel employee put us in danger for the rest of the night. Fearing that something would be done to our car or ourselves. This is a VERY UNSAFE HOTEL.

Overall my stay here was good. Staff was curteous and kind. No problems at all. The room was bigger than expected. Would stay here again.

Good hotel for the price, great location and friendly staff

Guest services was very friendly. However the room door was stuck and had a hard time getting in. The gap under the door allowed grass and dirt inside near the door. The sheets were clean and the tub was as well. But the bathroom door was filthy and the toilet paper holder kept falling out the wall.

This was a very basic hotel that's been around a while in a not so good neighborhood. The key card didn't work well and the security lock inside was broken. No breakfast was available.

Great stay at Red Roof. Security on duty once dark. Cameras everywhere. Great service at front desk. Rooms were super clean. Very big room. Sitting area included.

Nice place to stay on a budget. Everything was good and eveything was clean and room was very clean and had an overall good experience.

The people were friendly, (except for being the phone gossiping while I was trying to check in). She did call about 1 hour after check in and asked if everything was fine. It was, until we realized the room had roaches. Good thing my husband was on roach duty. Lol. Other than that it was an “ok” place to stay.

There are people living here. Not extended stay, LIVING at the hotel. The smell of marijuana was strong. The door to my room had previously been kicked in and a metal plate had been screwed on to continue use, although the door did not close completely. My room still had the trash from the previous guest in the trash can. The closet door would not close completely because the spring was broken and sticking out of the top of the door. There was only one washcloth and I received a visit from TWO roaches during my stay. Do yourself a huge favor and DO NOT stay here.

Also, i went to lobby and coffee was stale and at 9am juice dispenser is turned off. I reached the lobby at 9:10am. Only 2 bars of soap in the room!

Service was terrible from check in to check out but room itself was great...and kids enjoyed the pool.

Houston red roof inn. The host checking us in had the absolute worst service ever. She was taking a personal call the entire time, we were clearly an inconvenience to her. She made no eye contact and it was hard to tell when she was taking to us or to her call. Have no help at all. The staff in the morning was only slightly better but only because they weren't on the phone. That aside the room was clean, air conditioner cold, and room are was pretty quiet.
