I don’t even take the time to do reviews Soo me and my family was only passing through to stay less than 24 hours made it approximately 1am got checked in finally that took forever had to wait over 30 mins got to the room wait first off she didn’t tell us the elevator was broke had to climb 3 flights no problem got to the room boom was a dirty room someone literally just left sheets was still pulled back head print on the pillows towels on the floor … no accommodations so money wasted had to go to some other nasty ridiculous ghetto hotel down the walk I could went in to the Hilton upscale somewhere but see the need when only staying less than 24 hours I have plenty videos photos etc corporate will hear from me

My overall stay way great! The property was clean and the staff was friendly. My only complaint was the main bathroom light was out. The vanity mirror was fine as it was just myself. Again, this location was fine. I will be booking again.

I enjoyed my stay however the floor I was on did have an odor to it. Other than that everything was perfect my room was clean and I don’t have much complaints. Parking was a little trick though but nothing extreme.

We stayed in a suite and 1 of the air conditioners did not work, it took them 2 days to fix it. We had to re scan our room keys 7 times the whole week just to get into our room! Also, the pool was out of service the whole week we were there. The elevator did not work either.

Breakfast was very simple, no variety and very bland. My suite was not available and had to make a switch on my reservation. Pool was closed all weekend

I would not recommend this place. Black mold on ceiling in bathroom dried red appears to be blood on the shower curtain large hole in the wall the door wouldn’t shut the floors were sticky. I checked out the next morning asked to be refunded the rest of the stay and explained the reason as to why. I was not taken serious and now will be disputing the charges. I do have pictures as proof.

So last night I was in room 308 and across from me was room 309 and when I tell you they were absolutely terrible ppl I mean several people complained to management about the noise now the manager did handle the situation and apologized but I felt really sad for the kids

There were roaches in my room. Had roaches crawling around my shoulder. I spent about an hour of my sleep fighting roaches. If you are going to stay in this property make sure to carry around a bottle of raid bug killer to get rid of those roaches. It seems like someone threw up on the curtains by the AC unit. The AC unit had some kind of spill on it. The room smelled funky.

Over all stay was fine. We just needed a place to lay our heads. We had trouble with tv remote not working when we arrived. The elevator was a little scary and rough. Rom was nice and clean and bed was comfortable enough. Breakfast I would skip. Coffee was weak and like warm and the scrambled "eggs" that were just brought out were ice cold and that's not an exaggeration. The sausage was under cooked. Everyone else seem to enjoy their waffles and bagels but that's strictly observation since unable to eat. The staff was wonderful, very accommodating.

The bathroom water had an order. I had requested an early check in 5 hrs upon arrival. Get there no rooms available. Understandable, thinking maybe a 20 minute-30 minute wait. No. The clerk end up telling me if a room come available I would have to pay an additional $15 for each hour that I checked in early. I've been staying hotels for the last 20-25 years and never had this happened. Oh, well 1st time for everything. It was 12 my arrival, so I just caught an Uber to go eat.

Parking was easy and I felt like my car was safe! Close by to most activities I had planned! Picked this hotel for the pool but the pool was closed! Asked at booking to be placed AWAY from the elevator and NOT on the bottom level! I was placed directly next to the elevator and on the bottom level. Staff was friendly and helpful! The overall experience wasn’t bad! The ac blew amazingly cold ! Unsure about the breakfast choices because we slept in every day we were there!

I located one on the first floor that did dispense ice, but the pipes were exposed and water was continuously draining from them. Taking the stairs back up, I saw additional mattresses and bed frames stored near the stairwell area, which raised further concerns about the overall condition and upkeep of the property. I booked this stay specifically because of the overwhelmingly positive reviews. My experience did not align with that rating at all. It was pet friendly. Staff was nice. The room was average could have been nicer. I stayed on a weekend when breakfast is served at 7. To them that means start setting up the breakfast area at 7. I needed to leave a few minutes after 7 and barely was able to get coffee at 7:05.

The only drawback about this place is the area is a little sketchy but fine for Houston and the wifi never works. Otherwise my favorite place to stay in Houston for the price.

The room was ok overall but, there were several problems. First the door was jammed shut. Then the tv's didn't work. The room was at the end of a hall with an outside door was where the headboard to the bed was. Between 10-12pm the noise was horrible. Constant slamming and heavy footsteps. We couldn't sleep.

Two major lows, when we booked room no where on the site did it state that there was no breakfast (one of the reasons we booked this hotel) due to Thanksgiving, which I understand but a heads up would have help us make plans in advance. Outstanding location - not located right on a busy street, but very convenient to major roads and many local (non-chain) shops and restaurants. My room and the common areas were very clean and tidy. The flooring in my room was relatively new laminate plank flooring. Nice, normal hotel furniture and soft cotton linens. Decent shower water pressure. The pool was closed indefinitely when I was there. The wifi did not work at all while I was there and it was a cellular dead zone for me on AT&T. But for my short business trip needs, the convenient location and pleasant atmosphere outweigh those shortfalls - I would absolutely stay here again.

The breakfast is free which is a plus but the options and food was really subpar…. Nothing healthy, hard boiled eggs, not other styles of eggs, the meat was greasy, bread was basic slices bread, no fruit, etc. they have recycle out but they don’t actually recycle.

Front desk staff hid in the back room all the time. Had to go behind the counter and ask them to come out. Would not provide shuttle service even with the shuttle van in the park lot. Room had no tv remote and Air conditioning stopped, broke after two hours.

There was a bright blinking light outside our window that flickered all night. The curtains were able to block it a bit but it was unnerving in the middle of the night. The room had a strong cologne smell that was not pleasant. It may have been used to cover a musty smell.

Every time we tried to get in, we had to stand by the door for 3 to 5 minutes, trying over and over until it finally worked. Eventually we had to go to the front desk and ask for new cards. The breakfast was also disappointing. The waffle machine was not functioning correctly. It did not tell you when to flip or when it was ready, so I had to guess. My waffle ended up undercooked and stuck to the pan. Overall, the stay was frustrating and not worth it.

I was there for 3 days on my last night I saw 3 roaches in my room good thing I left. The room beds had roaches a lot in bathrooms and even saw some at breakfast room while having breakfast, I told the front desk they just moved me to another room wen efe we found even more, my kids where terrified having them crawls on our bodies when we where sleeping . The worst experience ever, thankful Expedia help us transfer to a new hotel where we had the best stayed ever with our refund. House2 by Hilton … I’m never staying at La Quinta ever again!!

The room beds had roaches a lot in bathrooms and even saw some at breakfast room while having breakfast, I told the front desk they just moved me to another room wen efe we found even more, my kids where terrified having them crawls on our bodies when we where sleeping . The worst experience ever, thankful Expedia help us transfer to a new hotel where we had the best stayed ever with our refund. House2 by Hilton … I’m never staying at La Quinta ever again!!

The property was nice, the shower head was tall which was a plus but the tub space felt small. There was also a nice arm chair in the room to sit in when you wanted.

And the smell of pee on the stairs. Was. Disgusting and water. Liquing from the air conditioning on corridors

Pool was closed. Smells were intolerable. The overflowing trash bin may have been the cause. Plus, there was the smoke smell possibly from another guest. Breakfast was gross (pretty sure it was expired milk). Fridge in room only had one setting that froze our beverages. Room had water damage on ceiling and incomplete flooring and baseboards. AC seemed to make everything damp. Cockroach was final straw to check out early.

Paid for a deluxe king suite. Room was practically empty, sofa and coffee table were missing. Room smelled like mildew and smoke alarm was removed. If that was not bad enough, at 2:30am, the front desk lady knocked on our door, and continued until I finally got up and answered, just because she wanted to verify my name. I had already checked in with my license, reservation, credit card… but she had to wake us up at 2:30am to verify my name. If all of that isn’t enough, for breakfast they only had bagels, toast, and sausage patties available. We asked about eggs and she said there is an egg shortage. I know they are more expensive , but there is not a shortage. My wife’s mother had suffered a stroke and my wife had been sleeping in the hospital chair for three nights with her. This was the closest hotel to the hospital and was meant to give her a much need break and good nights sleep. Unfortunately, it ended up being more trouble than it was worth. One star is being generous.

Cons: The breakfast was mid. The hotel room was cool, but the heat was out in the hallway which was stifling. The beds were ok. Overall: For the price, this is a great hotel.

Made reservation for 4 people, only had 2 towels in the room. Toilet seat was very loose, was ppartically repaired after we notified the front desk. Still uncomfortable for a toddler due to movement of seat.

Construction was around and loud. Kitchen was small and super crowded. Kitchen staff was extremely lovely and helpful. Would not go back though.

Upon arrival the staff was very unpleasant, there was bugs in the bathroom, and both stairwells smelled of urine.

There were some little roaches, saw 2 max. The power was out the day of arrival but was completely understanding and visiting the thrift store across the street and went to eat meanwhile. Otherwise was a great stay and would stay again. Staff was very attentive to any problems going on. Room was neat and organized.

Check in is at 2pm. I hate that wasn't told to me through instructions sent to my email. It needs to be updated. Lost an hr but other than that. I enjoyed my stay.

I understand things happen but to say the issue will only take the afternoon and here it is 9pm and still not an oz of hot water is crazy to me. There’s no solution, no help, no. Resolve. I have a funeral in the morning and can’t even do my hair or take a bath.

At midnight in there was some type of dispute where someone was kicking in a door and beating on doors which made me very uncomfortable. They need to do better about security at this place
