    Elevator smelled like dog pee, the room smelled musty, the room didn’t look to be swept either. I am almost certain there was a limiter on the hot water in the shower as the knob did not go past half way. Cheap room for a quick stay but I was pretty grossed out.

    The first night we arrived the room was still dirt. Someone else’s clothes was left under the sink in the bathroom and the tables wasn’t whipped down. Then the hot water wasn’t working, so the nice lady at the front desk Friday was very patient because there was a lot of people in the lobby complaining. She put us in another room, the room was okay we just couldn’t watch tv because the remote wasn’t working and the shower to a little to get hot. And also the hallways was really hot I’m not sure if they air had stopped working or not.

    The front desk lady was very nice and helpful. The shuttle also got us to the airport on time. They didn’t clean our room. There was weird stains on the bed, trash still in the trash can, and the bed clearly looked like somebody laid on it.

    The staff was friendly and the room was great. My only problem was that we didn't have any warm water. Called that night and front desk said it was being fixed so we couldn't shower before bed. Next morning same issue only they didn't know when it would be fixed so we couldn't shower before our flight.

    The room wasn’t clean. The sheets on the bed were torn and did not even fit the size of the bed. Stains were on the sheets as well. Hair and smudges were still in the bathroom from the last guests. Room was switched and there were still stains on the bed sheets. Water in the room did not get hot. Staff was not rude but very unsympathetic and stoic. The halls were muggy and smelled of cigarettes. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND.

    They keep lobby area clean. Room was not cleaned daily not even if requested. We found a bedbug on one of the beds. Room had a bad smell if AC was not ventilating high. Breakfast was only up for the time specified not even a minute after. Back door of hotel was never locked at least for the time we stayed there very unsafe. Elevator in the back didn’t work/operated properly we were risk at once to stay inside the elevator because elevator got stuck.

    The sheets DO NOT stay on the bed. The fitted sheets have zero elastic left in them and pop off, to where you're laying on an old mattress pad. The beds are old and soft. We didn’t get any sleep and we were happy to wake up and walk out the door at 4am....The air unit sounded like a hurricane or tornado from the start. We had to keep it cranked because the wetness/humidity was horrendous. The bathroom was so unpleasant. No garbage can for sanitary products. Only one garbage in the main room. There's mold in the corner by the shower, the floor under the vanity was so gross & filthy. Hair & body hair everywhere. There’s no locks on the door (they’re like closet doors). The tub water took 5 minutes to become warm enough to shower. There's no bathroom exhaust fan.

    I was there 5/21/26-5/24/26 The room had a odor when I first walked in the door locks where not good had to put a chair under the knob. The good things where staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was a bit dated but ok for my stay. They should have the bus driver drive you to the airport 24/7 my flight left at 5:20 they don't starts until 5am. Other than that, it was ok.

    Alex at the front desk said it was the third or fourth time it had happened this evening - giving away a dirty room. And the elevator was broken too - we almost got stuck in it. No apologies though. Then, they didn’t have an actual clean room that we had reserved months ago for us (two queen beds). They were trying to give us a king bed for a family of four. He tried calling his boss, Laura or Lauren, but she was not available. THEN… Alex agreed to refund our money, but would not be willing to give us a receipt. Literally the worst hotel we have ever been to. We ended up going to Comfort Inn across the street, which was great - clean, friendly and almost the exact same price. Go anywhere else but here.

    Generally, it was clean. The elevator was a nightmare. I would be shocked if certificate was up to date. The elevator was rusty and old and it lurched and jerked. Felt like the cables were going to break and it would crash at any moment. The electronic key lock for the room was faulty. My key stopped working and we were locked out. They didn’t have a master. They sent a maintenance man with a CROWBAR to break the room open. It seemed like they KNEW the locks were faulty because as soon as I went to the front desk to tell them the door wouldn’t work, instead of just giving me a new key, the front desk person went to the room with some sort of device to hook to the lock and then sent the maintenance person with crowbars! … while I sat on the hallway floor and waited for 45 minutes! Needless to say I couldn’t get out of there fast enough! AVOID this place. Do NOT trust the rating!

    Stayed for 1 night with my baby, young kid and husband. Our room had no AC and it was crazy hot. We were “upgraded” from a room with two beds for one with one bed and the new room only one AC unit was working the other wasnt. The staff was very friendly but you could tell the hotel is in need of some serious maintenance.

    We were 1st put in a room with no air conditioning, but the friendly staff moved us to another room. It was a hot day, and we decided to go swimming. We found the pool was green, no signage, so decided to ask the front desk. They didn't know either and had to call maintenance. We were told the pool needed work so it would be closed for the remainder of our stay. I should also mention that this location is near the airport and planes fly over. The sound bothered us at first, but we got used to it quickly and didn't notice it after a short time. There was lots of parking and we felt safe.

    The lobby was eye appealing and smelled very good. We were assigned to a room on the first floor that was not very clean and the bathroom floor was wet. We soon realized that it was due to a leaky shower. I reported this to the clerk at the front desk and her response was "oh they did tell me that room had that problem." She apologized and moved us to another room that was better and not set up for handicap. The television hardly had any channels so we had to watch Netflix on our tablet.

    Room keys didnt work, was moved to another room by staff. Second room key worked only once, staff could not get it to work again and made excuses for the door locks in the facility. Room had a coffee pot and supplies but missing parts and didnt work.

    I got up to go to the restroom and found cockroaches in the bathroom. I killed 4 through the night in the bathroom. I killed on small on that got on the bend. I could not sleep and had no way to leave without transportation. I called front desk and complained and requested my money back. The front desk they would report this to the manager to see what could be done about my stay since I could not sleep. It was just gross.

With this in mind, always check your bedding and rooms with hotels near the airport as a precaution.

    The room was good bed was very comfortable. My issues were with the fact you claim to have shuttle service which is why we booked with you and then found out we actually did not because your shuttle is a small mini van with only a couple seats and you have to be the first to check in to get on the list. Also the shuttle from airport was very uncomfortable and warn out. Do not claim to have shuttle service when you pretty much do not. Your check in staff seemed not to care at all. Which it is not her fault you mislead people with that as a selling point and they get to deal with the unhappy customers.

    I was trying to check in on May 10 2026 at 2:00 AM. Leaving the same day. When I hit the book now button it changed my check out to May 11th. This is not what I needed as I was traveling home to Colorado on May 10th. I was coming in from Louisiana to drop off my kids so they could fly to their mom‘s house for Mother’s Day. I need a spot that I could rest for a couple of hours (2am-4am) When I realize what happened I contacted hotel.com and was told I could not switch the dates and would not refund me. Due to this error My 3 kids and my self had to sleep in the car for a couple of hours before I dropped them off.

    The elevator was a death trap. There was a hand written sign asking that no more than 2 people ride st a time. It would drop randomly and somtimes not move at all. If we didnt have all our bags and have a room on the 5th floor we qould of totally avoided it. The pool was a green color. The place was outdated and gross. For the money they are charging please just stay next door in the hilton.

    My biggest issues were the ant infestation and the airport shuttle. I specifically chose this hotel because of the advertised shuttle service, but it was essentially nonexistent and very misleading. If I had known how unreliable it was, I absolutely would have stayed elsewhere. I landed at 12:45pm and couldn’t even arrange a shuttle in advance because they required a phone call after arrival. Since I’m from Canada and lost cell service, I had to get my dad to call the hotel for me. Apparently the shuttle “takes breaks” for hours at a time, so the next available pickup wasn’t until 3pm. Uber prices were extremely high, so I decided to wait. Big mistake. I was told to wait outside at 2:45pm and that the shuttle would arrive between then and 3. I stood outside alone in pouring rain while delays kept changing. At 3:12pm, the driver literally drove past me taking another passenger away from the airport. After multiple calls from my dad, the shuttle finally arrived at 3:35pm. I basically lost my entire afternoon in Houston waiting around at the airport. The next morning I had a 6:55am flight, and once again the shuttle wasn’t available, forcing me to pay for another expensive Uber. The room itself was spacious, but the bathroom had ants crawling all over the sink area. Gross. I mentioned it to the front desk and it was barely acknowledged. The shampoo dispenser was also completely empty.

    I don't know how it is possible that hotel room smell like mold and for nothing to be done about it. Our room reeked of moisture and mold. That is just neglect. Mold is dangerous and can cause respiratory issues. I personally would not stay at this hotel again due to this issue and it is the second Windham hotel in one month where this mold situation was encountered in two separate cities.

    Overall, I had a great experience at this hotel. The place was clean, beds were comfortable, the staff were friendly and the hot breakfast hit the spot! The ONLY gripe I have is the water pressure in the shower. It was horrible. They need to fix that! Other than that, the place was great and I will go back!

    The staff was friendly. The hotel is a little run down and has an old smell to it. I stayed on the 4th floor and the walls are thin so you can hear ppl in the hallway and next rooms. The elevator is antique and only allows 2 ppl in at a time. The bed is okay, but they seriously need to clean the rooms better. The carpet was dirty and there was trash all thrown behind the headboard. I dropped my earrings and discovered how dirty it was back there.

    This is an older hotel. It was fine for one night. When we walked into the room there were jelly beans (candy) on the floor and shower had hair in it. It was okay for one stay. Did not have the breakfast or the parking. The shuttle ride and driver was extremely nice and got us to the airport and back on time. I would give him 5 stars!

    Front desk was very nice and helpful. I was given clear directions on hotel shuttle. The driver was nice, he picks you up in a van. The hotel smells clean the moment you walk in.     Booked this place for an overnight layover both ways because of the airport shuttle, but the 7am shuttle to the airport was full both times and there is only a shuttle once on the hour!! That was very frustrating, if I had known that I would have paid more for another hotel. The airport pick up itself was not very smooth, front desk doesn’t properly explain where to wait and the wait was long. Place was kind of nasty and not that well maintained, I would never stay here again and layover in Houston quite frequently. The photos are deceiving. I would have cancelled my night on the way home, but it was non refundable.

    Not sure if we got a bad room selection or what. Bodily fluid stains on the couch, it seems they painted but forgot to take the painters tape off, hair on the bed and some black speckles on the bed sheets. Not ideal to stay for 2 adults and 1 child. See attached pics. We ended up having to get another room at another hotel that same night which was unfortunate. Wouldn’t stay here again

    I will never forget my experience at this hotel. It was hot in the lobby the when getting to the room i automatically seen how dirty the floors were with hair and other dirt. I had a toddler with me and would not let him play in the floor. Then when going to take a bath I seen the bathtub was stained and the mat on the bottom had a yellow ring. The next morning I got milk for my son from the breakfast area, again super hot in the lobby, and the fridge smelled sour. 2/10

    When I first arrived at the hotel there were leaves in the hall by the elevator and those stayed there for the duration of my stay. There were some very questionable stains in the elevator. I never heard them vacuuming the halls. In the rooms there was no bottles of soap just 2 bottles of shampoo and conditioner, luckily I had some of my own.

    The lady making the breakfast The mold in the non working refrigerator. I lost all my food. The window track has construction debris and mold. The neighbor music and sex was so loud it was hard to sleep. I got video of the music from my room. The gravy for the biscuits and gravy was reheated in a crock pot. I could tell Because of the caked up product from it being cooled in the crock pot the day before. It was a terrible experience, one I've never experienced before.

    Same breakfast everyday . I loved how it was offered for free but for the long stays there was really no other options just the same thing daily . The downstairs was hot . Inside the room was hot and took forever to cool off . The Wi-Fi was horrible and the television channels had no variety . But other than that the stuff was very nice and friendly . The hotel was very clean . And about the location everything was far way from all the places we went . So the location is only good for travel and if you are not going many places .

    The property and room looked very clean, but beginning in the room for least than an hour. We saw a small cockroach on the wall. As for the breakfast it wasn't the best.     Roshan, the manager, was very efficient, courteous and helpful. By far the best manager of any of my stays. The breakfast was very good value. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable, and the bathroom pleasant and clean. The carpets need to be cleaned on the third floor and in my room (324). Clear instructions on where to pick up the courtesy bus would have been appreciated, together the option to book the bus online for international travellers without access to a US mobile phone connection. Alternatively enable a WhatsApp connection to coordinate the pick up. I had to ask another traveller for help in order to contact you.

    The room is quite okay for the price and the bed was very comfy for an overnight stay. I believe the overall space of the room was nice as it was big and have a good size as well the bathroom was good size. The first and very big problem is the shuttle from the airport as you need to find the hall and the pilar where all the shuttles are. and there is no specific one for La quinta!! there is only a general one, and on top you need to specify which la quinta is not overall known. then I arrive and they tell me there is an extra charge for the pet, point one and second the lady taking care of the afternoon shift that day was not helpful. Then I have asked for shuttle the next day, and she starts like okay so you need it at 9AM? and I´m like no! I need 6:30... she starts like ufff that will be though, and then I went to my room. Was not having time for this thing already, I was exhausted. Then the breakfast as always in la quinta not good. and I realize on the next day that there is actually a list that you can note yourself to actually get the shuttle on the next day!!! I don´t know what was the issue to tell me this and just note me down. Overall, the worst was: the shuttle service and the staff attention. I will for sure pay 50USD more next time and stay in another hotel.

    They had a portable electric air freshener in my room when I checked in. An employee had to remove it. They were trying to mask a strong odor of marijuana. The air freshener didn’t help because it reeked of marijuana my whole stay. So did the elevators. I have been double charged as well and have been transferred to several people none of which who want to take responsibility. Feel utterly defeated.

    The shuttle service isnt very good, took over an hour to get picked up, due to a small broken inside minivan, the next morning couldn't get the shuttle time we needed it was booked with the 6 only available spots.     I was very disappointed with my stay. The room was not clean at all — the elevator area, bathroom, curtains, and bathtub were dirty, and the bed was uncomfortable. Honestly, it doesn’t even deserve a single star. I stayed at La Quinta near San Francisco Airport six months ago and had a great experience, which is why I chose this hotel. But this time I was shocked by the poor condition, and it was definitely not worth the price. You should consider removing this property from your list.

    The rooms are very nice and clean. As for the service I will rate as a zero. Upon arriving to the airport we called for a shuttle however we could not get through. After searching for a customer service number for the hotel we kept getting the run around and broomed to another person. After getting nowhere with theses calls we took a $25 five min can ride to find out thier phones and internet were down. After asking what are you going to do for us incurring a cab fare the manager on duty said nothing. The shuttle was just sitting outside. Knowing out of town guests were coming in you would think they would have to shuttle go by the airport every half hour. The manager was absolutely no comfort to our bad service. No offer to compensate whatsoever. Will never stay in another Wyndham property again because one manager no caring about thier customers

    The room was clean. My only complaint is, the shower water pressure was low. The sink water pressure was excellent, which is something I don’t understand. Also, the shower water would only get lukewarm. And I like taking hot showers. So quite uncomfortable for me.

    Unfortunately, I cannot say that I would recommend. We last minute got a room online because our connecting flight in Houston was missed due to weather. The purchase process was easy enough. When we landed we called the shuttle from the hotel and that came perfectly. Front desk staff was attentive as well. The issue was the room was not clean. The bed was okay. There was just an overall lack of attention to detail. None of the surfaces looked deep cleaned. There was stains on water faucet. Visible mold is corners of shower. The door to the bathroom was missing a knob. Overall we made it work because it we only had it for a few hours. But I would not rebook.

    Finally, and most unfortunate of all, the SOLE reason I had made a resevation at this hotel was for the free airport shuttle. In our reservation information, we were told that we'd be able to schedule the shuttle at check-in. However, by the time we checked in, the shuttle was "full" so we ended up ordering a ride to the airport that we were not expecting to have to pay for, making the stay at the hotel significantly less affordable than expected. And to top it off, the entire hallway outsifdeour room sm.elled like marijuana.

    Prior to check in the hotel messaged us letting us know how to arrange our shuttle to get to the hotel and stated the shuttle operated between 5am and 10pm. When we arrived at the airport and called the number they provided, they informed us the shuttle was not operational between 1pm and 3pm (we landed at 1), something that was not mentioned in their message. The reason we booked this hotel was for the free airport shuttle. They offered no solutions and in the end we had to navigate our own way to the hotel (including paying for it). I gave them many opportunities to make it right but I didn’t even get so much as an apology. Extremely poor customer service.

The main door is not sealed good you can hear people on the hallway talking.     The overall building itself was clean. The staff was courteous. It was a cool place. But the room had an interesting smell. Like old urine or something when we first walked in and it was supposed to be a mobility room because I have issues lifting my legs. But when we got to the room it was a bathtub not a walk in shower. It was okay though. But the next morning breakfast was not it at all. Over crowded, one waffle maker machine and not enough options for enjoying. They should take that they offer breakfast on Saturday off the adverts. Because it was truly a fight of do we have enough time with this line to get any nourishment. There were other offerings but everything was pretty much running out by 8:15. Being that this location is right by one of the biggest airports in the area, I would suggest taking that into consideration upon the traffic that would be coming and going. Provide for an over abundance in stead struggling through not enough. Though the breakfast may be a “courtesy” offered. For most it is on of the major the deciders upon choosing LaQuinta in as the place to rest. Even if the whole location is not the best at least we can leave after breakfast, content before getting back on the road. 😌

    The lady at the front desk was really awesome. We got there early and she had us in a room by noon. Our room had no hot water and maintenance was there right away. When it couldnt be immediately fixed they moved us to another room. Hotel was old but had a lot of face-lift to it. Didn't care for the overly pungent smell of air freshener in the halls. But the rooms smelled fine and bed was comfy. Shuttle seevice was quick. Great stay for the money.

    The elegant bilingual staff were very knowledgeable about the complimentary airport shuttle times and information. The elevator looked very elegant and demure. I was able to invite family to the lobby area to catch up using outlets, decaf coffee, and laptop spaces. Even the room was structurally designed with diagonals and inlets for max storage and moving around space for hotel festivities. Thank Jesus for the blessing of the South La Quinta Inn.

    Very nice front desk, let my parents in the room ealier than check in time as we came off the cruise in the morning,has no where to go. The rooms are spacious and confortable , shuttle bus and breakfast are available ,transit bus stop is also close by, very handy for us to go somewhere and aiport.

    This is one of a few hotels just south of Bush Airport on JFK. This one turned out to be quite reliable. The room I had was comfortable. The bathroom/shower is nice as well. Altogether, good quality at reasonable cost.

    Everything was great to start. Due to the flight delays with the government shut down my Steve was unexpected. We arrived late in the evening and I inquired about tea. To my surprise, there was only coffee as an option. There was not even tea that you could purchase in the Little marketplace area when I asked about it I was advised is only available in the morning. Breakfast was great The food was fresh and hot. The tea was not displayed for breakfast. The breakfast in the morning there was no plates no server everybody was piling food up on in cereal bowls. Waffles were being made incorrectly, and I saw several people Struggling due to no spray to keep the waffles from sticking. . I had to look inside cabinets in order to find TEA. I would like if I continue to use your brand I normally do the Hilton Tea should always be an option just as coffee. Four stars was overly generous, but I was not expecting my food to be hot and that was great.
