When we let the staff know that when we called for extra towels, Kleenex, etc due to the bathroom not being serviced, that evening they left a thoughtful note and had cookies and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us. We appreciated them making things right.

This hotel is gorgeous in every way. Every detail is taken care of, and all of the staff are polite, helpful, and friendly. The rooms are very spacious and well-appointed. I would highly recommend booking this property.

Very unfortunate that such hotel couldn’t do much to fix situation or improve experience . Went for weekend to attend an event , from arrival we were informed the second day water will be off all day. Without any consideration how we would shower or even use restrooms. Situation didn’t end by one day second night also water was shut off.

The room was quiet and we had a quiet sleep. No noise from the air-conditioning or other noises in the room. When walking up to our room we could hear a dog barking in the room across, but nothing in the night. Had a good sleep with was an important goal during our staycation. We also liked the room service. Easy to order through QR code/website, decent selection and quick and friendly delivery. Also the oyster bar next door is excellent! Super easy walk, just walk out of the hotel and around the cornet. We booked the St. Regis as a staycation (while the grandparents were looking after the kids). My husband and I were really looking forward to some peace and quiet. Well, don't go to the St. Regis for peace and quietness at their facilities. We brought books and magazines to relax at the pool, something I had been looking forward for for weeks. We checked in at 3pm, changed in the room and went off to the pool area to notice to pool was full with kids. We have kids ourselves and stayed at many hotels with them (also St. Regis' in SA-Asia, which were excellent and therefore we choose the St. Regis again) but this was just another world, totally out of control. Many, many screaming kids, parents just sitting at the loungers, yelling at their kids, lots of teenagers without any parents in sight and throwing a football (water/play football, so not a real one) that once hit my husband in the head. There was 1 set out loungers available and we took those, ordered a wine but we couldn't even chat/have a conversation because we couldn't hear each other due to the screaming of the kids (seriously, not exaggerating). We didn't even finish our wine and went back to the room and spent the rest of the afternoon in the room (which was nice, but not what I had hoped for). Also for the price, the hotel and rooms are very dated. Remembered the 'grandness' of the St. Regis in Asia, but didn't get that feeling at all here. So overall, I would rather choose a different hotel next time.

It was very nice. However, I did not like the fact that dogs could stay in all of the rooms. I thought there was a designated space in the hotel for dogs to stay in. My son is allergic to dogs.

We stayed at suite room with jet bath A lot of dirt came out from the nozzle of jet bath and bathtub became black. It was highly shocking It looked highly likely cleaning was not done for a long time It must not happen at five star rated hotel Also room dining food selection and quality was highly disappointing

My wife and her mother stayed here for 2 nights o they could enjoy some exibitions at the museum. They had a wonderful tome nd really enjoyed the safety and conveinience of the location, the cleanliness of the hotel and friendliness of the staff. We will definitley use the hotel again and reccomend it to anyone that asks

We have stayed in other St. Regis locations, Florence being one of the pre-covid latest and as expected the facilities and experience certainly matched the price range. This one, not so much. I have used Houston location in past decades for business, so I can sadly say, not much has changed since that time.

The Staff is very courteous and professional. The bar is very nice. Centrally located to the Galleria. Room was comfortable. The rooms balcony overlooked a roof, not a very enjoyable view.

We were very pleased with the St Regis Hotel, they went out of their way to make our daughter and her husband’s Honeymoon night very special! I would definitely use them again! We go there Easter time and they do a fabulous job with the food!

The staff was amazing. We were met with complimentary champagne. They brought our luggage to our room. More complimentary champagne in the hotel bar. Later we returned to the bar for live music until 1am. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Very pleasant stay!

It was Luke warm when it arrived, the flavor of a $34 meal was SO poor & unappealing. The cheeseburger was nearly inedible in every aspect. The complimentary bread was even slightly stale. I was so disappointed with the entire room service experience. I expected the best from a place revered as one of the best.

I also need to tell you that when I was driving back in the evening back to San Antonio after checking out that morning, I realized left some expensive jewelry in the safe. I called the Hotel and asked the girl who answered if she could please check the safe in my room and call me back. She called back and reported that she had my jewelry and would ship it back to me. I am very greatful for the honesty and efficiency of your staff. .

The man at the front desk was very helpful and figured it out, so I really appreciated his effort. I wanted to raise the issue because I had just missed a connection and had a midnight note check in and a 7:30am departure and every minute counts

The hotel is lovely, quiet and dignified. Every staff member that I encountered was wonderful, from Morgan at the front desk to Tim, the concierge, to the shuttle driver, Paul, to the doormen, the in-room dining operator and servers, to the housekeeping staff. My room was not as top notch as the lobby and dining areas. It was dated and in need of sprucing up. The pull to direct water from the shower to the tub was not working, nor was the TV when I checked in. Engineering was sent up and handled these issues quickly. However, when I opened the curtains the first morning a pair of well worn and solid ladies underpants were exposed and not removed my entire stay.

Every staff member that I encountered was wonderful, from Morgan at the front desk to Tim, the concierge, to the shuttle driver, Paul, to the doormen, the in-room dining operator and servers, to the housekeeping staff. My room was not as top notch as the lobby and dining areas. It was dated and in need of sprucing up. The pull to direct water from the shower to the tub was not working, nor was the TV when I checked in. Engineering was sent up and handled these issues quickly. However, when I opened the curtains the first morning a pair of well worn and solid ladies underpants were exposed and not removed my entire stay.

I feel the main attractions of this St Regis are privacy, luxury, and tranquility. I’ve stayed at other flashier SPG properties but in Houston, you enter and exit the hotel without sometimes seeing another soul. It’s like living in a luxury home. With maid service, a valet, and a butler if you so choose.

Restaurant was ridiculously cold. The food was medicre and overpriced. The artwork on the walls of the restaurant was covered in dust and cobwebs. Overhead lights in lobby were missing their escutcheons. Not trying to be overly critical... but I would expect a bit more attention to detail from a 5 star hotel.

It was a great place to stay. Friendly staff manager Mr Ree was brilliant and accommodative to all I wanted during my stay. Pleased with staff at the Resturant for breakfast and lunch. Excellent service-rated 5 star ⭐️

She even walked us to show us the elevator. Our room was clean and beautifully decorated. It doesn't feel like a hotel with the beautiful furniture. Even the ceiling has details stenciled on. The cleaning ladies greeted us in the hallway and wished us a good morning. Valet was fast and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and our waiter James was excellent. I'll be back next time I go to Houston.

Beds and pillows are really old.. must be renewed! Housekeeping is average. There was incredible dust on all surfaces at all times. I had to ask specifically to dust the surfaces. Rooms are very average for a St Regis standard . The staff on the other hand was spectacular!!! From the moment we entered to the time we left they were incredible.

The service is outstanding and the rooms very well kept. Semi-secluded and maybe not as walkable as some other hotels in area but restaurant and facilities are great so the location is actually a plus if you prefer a retreat from the local hustle and bustle.

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff. Room was comfortable. The only negative as the lack of hot water. The warmest the water would get was just above hyperthermia

Trip was great. Food at the restaurant is very good. Gym was shut down and in a conference room. Should make that clear before booking.

The room was cosy and the bed extremely comfortable. The bathroom was tired but functional. I used the gym a few times which was great. I walked over to the Galleria- its not a great walk as its along the main roads but its only about 20 minutes away.
