Well lit. ample parking. Great daily room service. Only thing if catching a Uber I goes to the other Inn next to it and I didn't feel safe walking to the Uber because of stray people/homeless or sitting around making it feel not safe.

CLEAN !! Walked into a clean nonsmoking room like we requested bathtub,toilet and inside sink were white clean around bed,toilet and tub were clean all counters and floor overall had a pleasant smell although I still sprayed my Lysol I love the smell of Lysol NO problems encountered

The location was good in respect to a gas station was close by on the corner to get imminities needed. The nearest grocery store was a mile and a 1 away approximately. The condition of the hotel. It was very clean but it is an older building. One problem with the room is that you cannot control the light by the bedside. It was connected to the main light of the room. Therefore, it required you to get up and turn off the light when you were ready. To get to bed and also required. You to have all lights on all the time. Instead of just the bedside light, something in the wiring is off. . Staff was very kind and very generous and readily available. However, there was very little offered in respects to the coffee in the lobby, the both mornings that I went down for coffee. There was barely any coffee made or even freshly brewed. They had a couple of packaged danishes, but not enough to accommodate the people that would be staying in the rooms. They would have gotten a complete vibe from me. the immunities in the room were almost non existent.A little aquare package of soap and a couple of small bars of soap. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. You get you get what you pay for I suppose. If you are in a pinch and just need a night or two I would recommend this hotel for longer periods of times I would not.

Clean room, easy check-in, easy parking. Room was warm when we went in, but turned on the AC and it quickly cooled off.

We had a nice, quiet stay. The bed was squeaky but it slept well, very comfortable. We upgraded to the jacuzzi room & it was well worth it! We’ll be back. Definitely an expensive, good choice close to the NRG event center.

The pillows were clean but smelling bad. The office/reception area had a bad smell, I didn't want to get coffee from that place.

The hotel is right off of main street near highway 610. The beds were firm and comfortable. Recently remodeled with adequate amenities. Your close to both stadiums, eateries, and social life. Below average pricing for the area. Everything else over $120.00 easy.

Overall great stay

This was our second time staying & it was just as clean & great as the first time we stayed. It is walking distance to NRG Stadium Eateries & stores. Staff is great & we love our jacuzzi room!!! We will definitely be back!!!

Room was big and clean with comfortable bed. Coffee was sad and wasn't much of a breakfast.

The area seemed a bit sketch, especially after discovering paper covering the peephole. That was really weird, and there was lots of commotion Halen in the parking lot. But it was just for a night, so it was tolerable.

Over all great stay

The room was very clean and was re-cleaned every day. You will hear traffic passing by, but only loud vehicles like motorcycles or modded exhaust. My only other complaint would be the lack of lighting, but most rooms will be able to use sunlight to help out, my room was one of few that faced other rooms instead of the parking lot.

For a motel, I was pleasantly surprised at the attention to finishout detail and overall atmosphere. The lighting was nice. The steps to the 2nd floor were well covered, with grip strips. The landing had tile. Outdoor flooring was fully painted without cracks. The interiors had nice flooring as well. Painting of handrails and walls were thorough. Again, I normally expect "cutting corners" at a motel, like moldy caulking in the bathtub, for example. But theirs were prestine. Well done! I went out my way to compliment them during my stay.

I enjoyed the air conditioner, working perfectly and a cool down the entire room. Also, I enjoyed the king size bed very very comfortable. There is no bedbugs. There are no roaches in this room was perfect. The only thing I can say I did not like is the vending machine was cash only didn’t accept cards, but that’s OK

Home place inn was the perfect place for my husband and myself. We walked to the local bars and restaurants with no issues, the people were friendly and kind.

Had phone, clock, microwave, refrigerator, soap, shampoo, iron & blow dryer available in room. Snacks available for purchase in office. Two story facility, but no elevator available. No grab rails in bathroom near toilet or tub.

Super comfortable and the staff were very hospitable. Close to the NRG Stadium and pretty central to restaurants. Would stay again!

Stayed here one night for the Houston Rodeo. It was good for the money and location. I wouldn't stay here if our kids were with us. The staff was excellent. Very friendly and got us checked in fast. No issues with the room. Everything worked as it should, cold refrigerator....

Place mast, furniture broker , old pizza in side the freezer, microwave broker, restroom no clean maybe need new manager

We needed more towels. But staff gave us extras. Simple rooms. Beds were a bit hard but room was clean

That said, I was pleasantly surprised by how clean the room was—way better than I expected. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the real stars? The sweet parking lot kitties who basically run the place. Bring them treats, and you may just earn their blessing for safe passage to your car. Overall, not bad if you’re here for convenience. I would stay here again (with my running shoes on hand for nighttime excursions).

It was exactly what we needed for our trip to the Harris Rally, clean and very nicely furnished. The bed was comfortable and the shower was superb

Solid price but please bring your own blanket/pillows. It was like sleeping with tissue paper for sheets. Other than that, not bad!

The area was kinda scetchy, there was even a covered up bullet hole on the door. However, the place was nice and there wasn’t any problems. Nothing stood out, good nor bad, good for the price.

The room itself was nice. The area around seemed a little less than ideal but we did not feel unsafe. We couldn't get the remote to work unless it was up next to the TV because the directv box was behind the TV too far. Bed was OK. Very good value though!

Staff was very nice. Parking lot was mostly fenced in, so even though the area felt quite unsafe - my vehicle was not messed with. Upon leaving my room for the evening, there was a couple standing outside nonchalantly smoking weed. Houston has a large homeless community & there were a lot of them hanging out in the area. I wanted to walk to the convenient store 2 buildings down, but didn't feel safe doing so. A couple of guys appeared to be "tripping" on something, so we kept our distance. So... all that being said, I probably would not stay here again. It was OK for just one night, but any longer would've been a deal breaker.

We were loading up to leave, but couldn’t even get all our stuff out and the cleaning lady was already in the room with our stuff still in there. Very pushy and disrespectful

The hotel was perfect for the short stay, just houston that’s kinda scary and it’s in kinda a bad area.

This is not somewhere I would usually book to stay, but I had a last minute medical appointment and availability in Houston was nonexistent due to Beryl. My stay was for 3 nights. The place doesn’t look like much on the outside, but the staff was very courteous and the room was very clean and had no odor! Much unlike some highly known hotels I’ve stayed in recently! I will stay here again.

While the neighborhood is lacking we never felt unsafe. The hotels was one of the cleanest we've stayed. The cleaning staff was stellar. A few outlets did not work neither did the hair dryer but i suspext this may have been addressed had we said something.

The room was nice and clean. It had TV, refrigerator, and wi-fi. The only down-side issue was that there was no extra blanket or cover for the bed.

Friendly staff, and clean, comfortable rooms.The surrounding neighborhood isn't the greatest, but the property itself was well lit and seemed safe.We had a minor issue with a leaky air conditioner upon arrival, but the problem was corrected within minutes.I would definitely stay here again if I was attending an event in the area.

The price was reasonable and the room was clean and nice. The amenities are absolutely bare bones. The room had a mini fridge and microwave which were nice. We would stay there again and request a ground floor room for my wife. No elevator.

As a place to sleep, close to NRG, with minimal noise (considering that it's not too far from a freeway), it was great. If you're looking for luxury, this isn't it - it is what it is. The room was clean and comfortable and what you should expect for the type and price.

I left the hotel an hr after being there. There were roaches and no hot water. The lady at the front desk took 30 min just to check me in. She was falling asleep standing up.

We enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly and accommodating! We were in town to attend an NFL game and they were gracious to allow us to leave our car in their lot. This place was within walking distance to the stadium.

Only drawback was fresh paint smell in the room and the listing information is wrong about having to pay at the location instead of online.

Pulling in, I was skeptical of the area. However do NOT let that turn you away. Hotel was extremely clean and seemed newly renovated. Parking lot is lit up like a football field at night. Very quiet also. Zoom ac was off when we got in but within an hour it was freezing. EXCELLENT place to stay for a great price! We didn’t need staff assistance other than checking in/out but they were very nice. Also cameras covering parking area and walkways/stairwell.

Have stayed here several times during visit to Medical District. Fast and friendly check-in. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Although surrounding area may not be great, owners work hard to keep property quiet, safe and clean.

Floor had sticky spots, so I know it had not been mopped at all. Pretty disappointed. Also the bathroom light switch was popped off. OK for a quick night, but wouldn't stay there much longer then that.

If your on a budget and want to stay in a clean room. Close to the nrg and restaurants in the area off the highway. Room was super clean not fancy and thats ok with me. We had enough room for our stuff. I recommend this place and will return next year when we come back to the rodeo.

This stay was surprisingly comfortable. considering it was reasonably priced. The room was clean and freshly painted. The bathroom looked new. The composite floor was clean and had no bad smells. And the room was quiet considering that it is next to a busy street. They even had a small breakfast; at least enough to quench your thirst and hunger

This is an older motel that has been updated very nicely. I must say it's an unusual layout, especially the bathroom area. But, the room was very comfortable, the bed was great, and plenty of room to be comfortable.

Rooms are clean parking lot is well lit and secure. The people at the front desk are nice. Cant beat the price .

Property was easy to access and centrally located to the event I attended.

The bathroom and shower were nice but showerhead was clogged so not all jets worked and a pile of workerss were piling cans and drinks on window outside my roo. Theu didnt move when we came to the room.

The room itself was decent but shortly after check-in I had a mysterious charge on the same card I used to pay for my room. Be careful when you check in with this hotel and watch your account for new, unauthorized purchases! Someone walked away with a $250 purchase using my card to pay for it!

Very up to date, nice, love going there,feel safe and secure

Room was nice very typical. Had a couple chairs and table to sit at, Bed was average (not too hard not too soft) bathroom is small but fairly updated. Sink just outside the bathroom door. The reason for me Average score was do to cleanliness. Corners of tile was dirty, mirror had something stuck to it (which I was able to remove a little, which means with the proper cleaning supplies it would come right off) tray with shampoo and conditioner on it was gross. Definitely not cleaned.
