The breakfast was magnificent! The food was cooked very well and kept in "warmers". There was ample breads, desserts and fruit available, and plenty of milk and juice.

The food was a bit bland, and no bacon. There was a variety of items.

Went to staff about situation. Got me a different room and were very nonchalant about the mention of Roaches as if normal. Got to my new room and there were dead roaches in that unit. Thankfully dead but having to clean them up was not on my list for my birthday trip.

I’m not sure it’s possible to say enough good things about the staff during this stay. The customer service was extraordinary. After checking in, my room key didn’t open my door; when I returned to the front desk, I was, without asking, issued a voucher for a free breakfast. When I asked why I was being given that, she replied, “you shouldn’t have had to come down. Hopefully this makes up for it.” Also, I booked my stay here almost solely because of the guest-use laundry facilities. After seeing the “out of order” sign on the dryer, I approached the front desk. In just a few moments of conversation, the manager approved having a load of laundry done in the hotel facility machines by a staff member. Also, the breakfast serving staff were phenomenal.

The staff was extremely rude. The front staff seemed like they were bothered by our presence. Slammed down our ID and key to the room and did not once offer to give us information about check out amenities or breakfast. Will never stay again.

Late at night after we’d gone to sleep, we heard someone coming into our room!! The staff had assigned our room to another guest who we had to stop at the door!! This has NEVER happened to me in my entire life and was a completely horrible and scary incident!!

Staff. Very rude just wanted to check in and 3 people sitting at front and had to go get a fourth then couldn’t figure out the credit card was the worse check in experience ever!!!

The hotel was nice, we unfortunately lost power due to a storm passing through. The hotel had no generators to get things up and running. They had to prop doors overnight which was a little nerve wracking.

Hotel is relatively new and nice. We booked the largest suite and it had an undercounter fridge and microwave and was spacious. There were a couple of light bulbs out and they repaired when requested. Also, the room was missing a hair dryer and iron - also provided when requested. A suite room like this should have plates, glasses, silverware and probably a garbage disposal to make it competitive with alternative venues.

The hotel was good for one night, but a bit over priced. I booked for a tub in our king suite, but once I arrived the host said she’d never been in that room before and couldn’t tell me if there was a tub. Got into the room and it was shower only. Had to shower with my two year old that night :D.

The property was really really nice. I’ve stayed here several times and would come back. The incidental fee is only 25.00 so that really helps especially when you’re there because your power is out due to the storm. The guy that checks me in every time I come is so pleasant and nice, I wish I knew his name!!. The breakfast was good especially the sausage grave and biscuits but you have to pay for it. The only thing is that there is a black lady that works there, I’m assuming she’s the manager but not quite sure. I didn’t work with her personally every time I came there but I did see her and hear the way she answered the phone and talked with customers which was kinda rude and just her demeanor was hard and not very inviting. I had to call there to try and get a receipt for FEMA (I booked through Expedia and ended up getting the receipt from them) but she was NOT pleasant at all but a bit rude, even when she answered the phone. I told her in a calm way what I was experiencing with her tone and what I’ve seen in the past and she hung up on me which proves exactly what I was talking about. I believe I have seen in the reviews something else about her but I hope that whatever she’s going through, she gets past it. We all go through things but other people don’t deserve to be on the other end of that and receive that type of treatment. That goes for her, me or anybody. Everybody is not the cause of your issues or what your going through.

Its was great night and I didn’t want to leave

I normally use Hotels.com to book a hotel from any chain available. I also ask for late check-outs and have no issues. I was told by the front desk that I could not get a late check-out because I did not book through IHG and apparently this is a benefit of IHG. I have never had this issue. I also have an IHG account but she would not honor it since I did not book through IHG. They also kept giving me 2 of everything even though there were 3 of us in the room (one is a 14 year old child). I selected this number of people when I did the selection in Hotels.com and they said they could not see it in their system. Odd that no other hotels ever have this issue. I even had a room with 2 beds which normally holds 4 people. I had to finally get rude to ask for more breakfast tickets (which I paid for in my room confirmation online) and enough towels. The lady at the front desk was not personable and extremely rude to me, my husband when he originally checked in and other friends staying at this Holiday Inn. The place was nice, clean and in a great location for what we needed, but improvements are needed in the front desk attitude and housekeeping towel service.

Checking in and out was a breeze. The front desk staff were very pleasant. Bed was comfortable and shower was great. The only negative thing I can say would be that the silverware at the breakfast was not clean and when I pointed it out to the person in charge he told me that they were having a problem with the dishwasher. We used the plastic ware instead. He had the girl hand clean the silverware. Other than that, no problems. The breakfast was okay. We would stay there again. Quiet and conveniently located.

We were short on towels and wash clothes and housekeeping promptly brought them after a phone call. Checkout was easy. Check in was the problem. We wanted to leave a car at the hotel while we went out for the day since we couldn’t check in until 3 and the man at the desk kept saying he couldn’t guarantee it’s safety. I wasn’t asking for a guarantee, I wanted to know where the safest place to park was so that the camera’s could see it. The man wouldn’t reveal where we should park and wouldn’t say if the cameras would show no matter where we parked. He was unkind in the way he kept insisting that he couldn’t guarantee the car’s safety. I just wanted to park where it would be seen. I wasn’t asking for a guarantee, I just didn’t know the area and was asking for advice. Needless to say, I didn’t feel welcome after his attitude. The others in the hotel seemed kind but he was not. I’m not sure if I’d return to that hotel again. I’ve had better experiences at other Holiday Inn hotels.

Lovely

This property was just off of a frontage road on the highway, and is located near several shopping areas and eateries that made our trip enjoyable. The hotel was close enough to houston for us to enjoy attending a concert there, without being too difficult to navigate back to or being especially traffic heavy.

Every where I encountered customer service it was a fail. I was compelled disappointed. They didn’t have my room available. I had to settle for a double that was left. At the breakfast I wasn’t even treated as a guest just like was trying to come in for a free Meal. Clean hotel but that’s the only highlight. Sadly the employees are lacking in the welcome department.

The hotel was great, the food smelled wonderful, however, I have a service animal and I’m crippled. So people with service animals are not allowed in the dining area. Hence, not able to eat at the restaurant. I had to order out through DoorDash in order to be able to eat at your establishment. The staff was very accommodating and knowledgeable. I even extended my stay. But having a service animal, through your policy, left me with no other recourse, than delivered food. .

Simple, clean and quiet

A number of small issues just added up to a make it a frustrating stay. Arrived late in the evening no emergency toothbrush at front desk no pillow or linens in the room for the fold out couch. No shampoo the first morning. Spotty wifi service. Sliding doors between living area and bedroom and with bathroom are not fully closable. Multiple machines not working in gym workout area. Manager did not respond to me when I ledt a note describing concerns - I even asked again to be contacted.

I didn't like no free breakfast. When paying an average $100 Plus deposit so $125 average per night, the least you can do is hook a girl up with a Texas shape waffle or an apple for free in the am.

The hotel was nice and the staff was amazing. The bed was comfy and the shower pressure and hot water was excellent. However, the sheets had stains on them and when housekeeping came to clean the room they did not change the sheets just made the bed. I knew it was the same sheets because the stains were there. There is black mold at the top of the bathroom walls. Overall a nice stay and I will stay again just hopefully a different room without mold and sheets that aren’t stained.

In the morning the coffee at 9am was cold (I suppose it was coffee leftover from the previous day) but the guy at dinning made fresh coffee after I told him about the old coffee. On my second day, Sunday, whoever cleaned my room did not remove the towels I had used in the morning.

Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. One side of the hotel (parking lot and entrance) was quiet, but the other room on the freeway side was noisy all night.

It had everything I wanted. I always look for a mini fridge and a microwave. I have an 8 year who doesn't eat out much and we always bring food when we travel. So the convenience of these make it easy. It was very clean and the front desk was friendly.

Indoor pool wasn't heated, temp was frigid and great for preparing for polar plunges only. In room amenities were sparse, no blow dryer, very few towels and only one bar of soap.

Hallway was 80 something degrees..hot!!I turn our thermostat down to 70 and 65 still the temp was 76..which made our stay uncomfortable,couldn’t sleep..

One of the best and most welcoming hotels I have ever stayed in. I felt so safe and welcomed by Brandin, Melissa, Suzette and Dakota while on a family emergency trip in a city that I had never been to. They were so caring and made me feel right at home. My room was always so clean and had all the comforts necessary for my lengthy stay. I would HIGHLY recommend this Holiday Inn & Suites to anyone needing accommodations when in this area.

I loved ! super clean, the room was perfect comfortable, there was a place to do laundry, the lobby was super clean and there were areas to be able to be relaxed and an area for sodas and small things, a mini bar, I loved it! It's one of the best I've been to!

My housekeeper Miss Judy was excellent and made it easy for anything I needed for my stay!

We came in town for our daughter's graduation and right off the bat everything was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and very comfortable. I will definitely be staying again
