Cheap Dirty, cockroaches in the room, sheets wrinkly and look dirty, booking site stated there was a hair dryer and there was none. Had to go buy a hair dryer because I didn’t pack mine bc I expected there to be one. No iron though there was an ironing board and a mount where the iron used to be. No deadbolt either, which made me feel unsafe given the area had homeless and prostitutes hanging outside. The previous reviews of this place are obviously fake, I would have never booked if I knew the truth of how run down this place was.

The hot water! The elevator was broken and there was a man laying on the top of the steps. Sheets and pillowcases stained. Bathroom had mole on the wall and there was a whole in the floor I was in. This was an extend a hotel and people were sitting with their doors open. I can definitely say I won’t be back.

They didn't honor our reservation and we advised of late check in! My 13 years old and me had to go to the Emerald Inn and suites across the streets. Which was gracious enough to accommodated us. Was not good for children or clean, and TV remote was broken, nice patch in the roof! Great potential if they do the work. New update bring a very clean towel and a bacteria kit start checking A/C. It is not your house nor do you have friends. When your stay ends leave if you don't get the receipt make sure it is on a trackable payment source! Email copy to family, yourself, company you booked from. Safety first be ready for anything!

I liked the location The bed didn’t seem clean, the air conditioning unit was old and outdated. The couch was supposed to be replaced years ago. It was totally destroyed. Hair was on the bed!

This hotel is terrible first off the picture of the rooms on the website does not reflect what the rooms actually look it false advertising at its best to get you to send your money. My first room was horrible dirty shets, pillow cases, broken furniture drawers hanging from the nightstands and the mirror that was supposed to be on the wall wasn't no couch fridge don't work just a hot mess. I was giving another room after leaving a bad review which was fine the room was a little better so I thought at first it at least looked better, but the bedding was dirty they left dirty towels and rags for me to use and they have roaches. I only stayed because I was moving into my apartment and I had already put my money down so I was kinda stuck which sucked but I made a way I was barely there since I work so that was a blessing. They kicked me out the day before I was moving into my apartment because I was telling people not to book there if I seen them outside in my passing and the front desk chick that's built bad overheard me and caught an attitude but instead of being upset just clean this filthy place and stop posting pics of rooms that do not reflect what the actual rooms are like again false advertising at its best smh .... I posted pictures of my experience glad I'm in my own space now because that week there was horrible.

The front desk employee was rude, short, and dismissive. I specifically told her I did not want a room on the ground floor. She said she would move me to a higher floor and told me to check the room and come back if I didn’t like it. She placed me on the third floor. When I entered the room, it was immediately clear it was not up to standard. There were holes in the walls, and then I went into the bathroom and found roaches crawling on the sink. I took a moment to stay calm because this was extremely upsetting. I attempted to call the front desk, but the phone in the room did not work. I stepped out to gather my belongings and returned to the front desk to request a refund due to the roaches and the condition of the room. Instead of apologizing, the employee blamed me, saying she had told me to “check the room.” She then said she could move me to the second floor, which made no sense since she had already placed me on the third floor. If she knew the room was not acceptable, I should never have been placed there in the first place. I would have rather stayed on the ground floor than in an infested room. I remained calm throughout the interaction, but the employee became increasingly nasty and unprofessional. The rooms are not the best, I just moved out here from Philadelphia needed an affordable place to stay while I save to find an apartment and I must say I am not pleased at all with this place. The first room I was in the furniture was broken, no couch, there was hair on the TV stand so you could tell that it was not cleaned properly so I had to disinfect myself, the pillow cases were filthy the room just looked ran down and had a weird smell I was so uncomfortable, I put my blanket across the bed to just get some kind of rest. The next day I received a call from the hotel asking if I wanted another room I quickly said yes she then ask if I have a preference I said yes I prefer a smoking room she says all the smoking rooms look like the room I originally had smh just give me a non smoking room if it's going to be a better room but my biggest question is why does all the smoking rooms look run down with broken furniture just a hot mess. The next room is a little better but still not the best but the furniture is not all broken and trashy looking still no couch but I can get pass that so it's workable until I find something else in my budget price range can't pay for luxury right now while trying to get this apartment have to stay focused on the goals at hand. If your looking for affordable then here would seem like a good idea but if you're looking for something more within your comfortability level I suggest you look for something else .

With that being said, this hotel needs to have more than paint slapped on the walls. It truly should get a full renovation or advertise for hourly rooms. The 1st impression is that they are trying to update this hotel but as soon as you look closer and step into the elevator even, you realize it is bad. The elevator has scratched off paint, dirt piled up and turf as a rug. It smells. Upstairs on the 2nd floor where our room was located, you can see the fresh paint but it was not done very well. Literally slapped on the walls. There is splatters across all the flooring, in the hallway and the rooms. The door to our room stuck and would not close without pulling hard. The room smelled musty and sour with the taint of weed. There was no sitting area as advertised in the pictures on hotels.com. There was no toilet paper ANYWHERE in the room or bathroom and no toilet paper roll rod to hold toilet paper even if we had it. There were only 2 towels in the bathroom for 2 people to dry off with. I dont know why I never got my rewards points for this stay and I just noticed this. I ended up upgrading to their jacuzee room and paying about 700 bucks for my 7 day trip, instead of the a little over 300 I was quoted for when i booked and I wasn’t trying to be a Karen, I would have been okay with just getting the Onekey rewards I had been originally supposed to get with my booking, but no, these people just took away my Onekey rewards all together like if I would have cancelled or something, when I’m actuality, I decided to pay for their top room instead. That’s horrible business ethics. That on top of them trying to charge me almost double what my per night amount was when I paid for the 7 days, when I tried to add an additional night is the reason I would never recommend this establishment

I don't recommend if budget is not an issue, this area had many many roaches, my door was missing a lock and siding, tub was dirty, and there was a fighting in the hallway at 7 am that was not managed until after 8. Front attendants were unprofessional.

The beds were hard as bricks, the toilet wasnt even secured to the bathroom floor and countless bugs crawling everywhere. Overall, I'd say it was the absolute worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

Where do I start???? Let’s start at the basics of it not being as advertised. There was no breakfast and no coffee in the hotel AT ALL. The room didn’t even have a lamp. The phone didn’t work…in fact it was missing buttons. The smell of pot in the hallway would give anyone a contact high. We called 911 at around 2am because people were fighting on our floor and were actually threatening to shoot each other in the face. It took the police an hour to show up and the 911 dispatcher said we were the second call. We couldn’t call the front desk from our room obviously and we tried to call with our cell phone and it would ring twice and then nothing. It was the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel and I travel considerably.

They are renovating the property. It has come along way since 2014, but their not quite there yet. There was actuall water in the pool and hot. You could tell that it was stagnant. There are still not serving breakfast as well!

Room I booked was dirty, bed was not made and had dirty used towels on floor. Asked for a different one , saw plastic wrappers on bed. Hallway of hotel smells horrible. No working pool as stated on website. No late checkout available , no continental breakfast.

Room I booked was dirty, bed was not made and had dirty used towels on floor. Asked for a different one , saw plastic wrappers on bed. Hallway of hotel smells horrible. No working pool as stated on website. No late checkout available , no continental breakfast.

The room was very big because they removed the excess furniture like table, lamp, couch. They have a huge room with king size bed 2 nightstand, drawer, one broken lamp and one chair.Good size fridge and microwave. Missing iron and ironing board. My mattress is wet and the front desk accused me of wetting it myself and refused to transfer me to another room. The picture showed a desk and the reason i picked the establishment because of desk and wifi. I asked for a desk since i will be working during my stay and they couldnt provide a desk. The wifi was not great and you could not do any zoom calls without freezing, delays, and slow connection. Front desk during check in was rude. The night front desk was nicer and was willing to help me but at the time ive reached my limit. It was disgusting that i have to lie in a wet mattress.

I stay here most times when I come to Houston. I like the hotel, it is convenient to everything. I don't like that I can't use the pool or hot tub. They should stop advertising that. Also, they don't serve breakfast anymore.

I would NEVER come back we didn’t even finish our stay! Every time we walked in they would ask our room number because they have prostitution workers upstairs there was such a bad smell when you walked in the walls are so thin you can hear the conversation next door clear as day so hard to have kids there kids talk and cry and I was getting called every 3 minutes that we were being loud when nothing was happening but us watching a movie laughing

Not family friendly they have hookers walking in and out with a new guy every 15 minutes. The pool was empty with black slime walls are so thin you can hear everyone’s conversation like you are in the room.

Roaches in the bathroom and on the microwave and fridge. Bathrook door had obviously been kicked in at some point and door frame had never been repaided to the point you could not close the door. Oh and the dozen or so 7:30 am gunshots in the hall way is a unique wakeup call.

The smell from the Reno and the smell of smoke made me and family sick. First room assigned was so heavy with smoke smell I requested a non smoking room the attendant said they had no other rooms and he offered some spry and said the room is a non smoking room. I immediately asked for a refund but then he gave us another room. The second room was somewhat better but still had the two smells. We checked in at 9 pm and end up leaving at 12 midnight because we couldn’t stand the smell any longer. The hotel shouldn’t charge full price when going through a renovation or at least they should disclose the information. My family became sick during our stay. I went to the desk to check out no one to be found. All kinds of people coming and going in and out ( night people, people of the streets). I felt unsafe there. The room was not very secure as you can see from my pictures. Call ahead and confirm if renovate complete. Don’t pay 89.$ for a one night stay. There are better places to stay for less. Never again will I stay here renovation or not! Don’t let the pictures from the website fool you. Read the reviews I will from now on. Sick place! Horrible

Well they were very rude and they had Roach terrible and they my stay uncomfortable and when it was time to change rooms they were still dirty and i had to have 2 beds they the beds were dirty

The room smell like spicy food. Elevator didn’t work. We had to used the stairs. TV didn’t work, had staff come up to check, still didn’t work. No swimming pool. Furniture in the room was subpar.

This place was grossly missrepresented with the online pics. The place had graffitti on the walls, trash all over the hall floors. AC did not work, TV was broke due to a bullet hole in the middle of the flat screen. The furniture in the room was broken. The fridge had rust and black mold.I paid in advance but refused to stay in that place. I will be seeking a refund from Hotels.com. If I was Hotels.com I would not stain my reputation by listing this property. Rooms looked nothing like online pics

The room and stuff was fine, but when it came down to asking simple questions about the refund policy because I didn’t need the room, Jay at the desk said he’d get with the manager and let me know. He never called back so when I called later that evening and asked for Jay ( whom answered the phone again) he said Jays not here, and when I said well who is this talking you sound like Jay he replied the front desk guy and hung up. Now the next morning when I went and there was Jay again. Recognized the voice he had been there. So I politely and professionally told about the disappointment I had with just simply wanting to know about my stay unpaid for and you lied about who you were hung up in my face and was highly unprofessional for a hotel establishment. When your dealing with customers always be polite or even if you can’t answer the question get someone above you that can.

It was enough to rest the night I did see waterbugs and smelled a lot like weed not ok for me. But I didn’t stay second night because to far from family members. It can be cleaner it wasn’t disgusting to the point where I couldn’t stay there even if I was so tired but it can be cleaner and smell cleaner.

Never stay at this location. Management is a joke. The room and hallways all smell like marijuana and cigarettes. Even though there are signs posted that’s it’s a nonsmoking facility. When brought up to management they did not care. They offered to spray air freshener... the smell was so “thick” it stayed on my clothes when leaving.

Looks like they are renovating the property. This has been a process since 2014 when I first started reserving rooms here. At times it seems as though there is a lot of riff raff there. As long as it doesn't affect me, I will continue to book rooms there. It is conveniently located to shopping malls, food places and also movie theaters.

The elevator was broken but we were on the 3rd floor they have roaches the shower pressure was trash and we had to keep the lights on all night bc we didn't want the roaches to get all in our things AND the I've machine wasnt working

Property was nice, with lot's of potential. There are fast food restaurants right outside the parking lot. BUT the first room given was hadn't had maid service and was dirty. The next room given was clean but had a horrible odor (maybe mildew or something)... the first room (that was not ready) had no odor.

The online advertised indoor pool and free breakfast. The pool was empty of water and there was a sign that said "effective 3/24/2021 there will be no more free breakfast. We stayed 19th-21st and there was still NO free breakfast. The pull up and check-in area was used as the Owner/Managements personal parking. Making space limited to guest to load and unload. We had a smoking room but there was a sign in the room stating a $100 day surcharge if you smoke in the room. Online check out says 12pm. Desk says 11am. If theyre going to remove things at the site that guest look foor in their hotel search, then it needs to be removed from online. The person at the front desk said they do not have too. We informed them it is misleading and fraud. We requested to speak with the manager and was told he was not available for guest. Other things could be added to the rooms to make up for this. Mini-fridge, coffee pot, and a microwave. That way you have a way to store and cook your own food.

The pool was close and the staff was rude. They should change what’s online because it was nothing like the pictures.

The tv didn’t work got moved to another room the tv still didn’t work and the sink didn’t work every time I turned it on it would leak tremendously and there was no covers on the bed just sheets.

The occupants in the room above me allowed their children to run and cause a disturbance all throughout the night and into the early morning. I contacted the front desk several times about this issue and nothing was done and the heater barely worked in the room. All of the rooms on our floor were supposed to be non smoking but all you smelled getting off the elevator and waking down the hallway was cigarette smoke

We booked the room with hotels.com got there they didnt have a room with a king put us in another room, which didn't lock and burn holes everywhere, we walked straight out told the desk that our door wouldn't lock, his words oh im sorry and we are full now, I asked well since the room i booked isnt available and the room u sent us to dont lock and theres nothing else available can i get a refund he said absolutely NOT. I LEFT BEFORE IT COULD GET ANY WORSE!!! AMERICAS BEST ..... SHORT FOR BEST NOT BETTER GO BACK TO AMERICAS BEST.

It was clean comfortable easy to get to The room smelled kinda damp.But ot was clean

It was a ok stay I was traveling on a budget and it fit what I was doing. If you have the means then get a better room, but overall it was a clean room and was pleased!
