Only public park garages not too near to the hotel are available.

My only complaint was no elevator. However the incredible staff assisted me with my super heavy suitcase up to my room.

The beds are too soft

The hotel is in a great location. The owner and staff were wonderful. I was able to walk everywhere in old town Heidelberg. Very close to the Christmas market. It is a very charming property. It was difficult to find the entrance to the hotel and the check in desk. There was no drive way to pull the car in so I parked temporarily on the street until we checked in and took the luggage to the room.

The location was perfect! We stayed in the annex apartment not the main hotel, and it was beautiful. Plenty of space. Breakfast not included.

Highly recommend. The properties decor was very charming and romantic. Great location next to bridge, old city and castle. Corner room and bathroom on second floor was spacious, clean and had a good view. Breakfast, not included in price, was very good. Dinner in the interior court yard was our favorite, excellent food and atmosphere. The staff was friendly, helpful, and professional.

Nothing, it was perfect.

The location was closer than I thought. Right next to the bridge in oldtown. The rooms were so comfortable and cozy. We were in Junior Suite 2 that overlooked the castle on the hill. Amazing view! Breakfast was delicious! We will be back in the Summer time hopefully :). Wonderful stay. nothing was bad at all.

The location was absolutely gorgeous, being right next to the bridge, and it was convenient too. There were multiple Christmas markets within walking distance, and many restaurants. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of windows for natural light. They also let me order a much needed travel accessory to the hotel (it was very small), and accepted the package for me, which was very, very nice of them. The beds were very nice, and had plenty of pillows to choose from. Pretty much everything about the hotel was perfect, aside from the shower. The shower functioned great (maybe a little too well, as the water pressure was crazy high), but the handle for adjusting the heat was a little too easy to bump into, and gave little resistance, so while showering it was very easy to accidentally bump the temp to super hot, or super cold. There was also a not insignificant amount of dust on the tops of the window and door frames, but nothing too terrible. The wi-fi was decent, but there were moments where it would drop or slow way down.

Great location, room had plenty of space, very friendly staff. An enjoyable experience. No river view

A very nice, friendly reception upon arrival. The hotel itself is in a delightful location. We were housed in the hotel annex. I was aware at booking that we would be in the annex but assumed that was attached to the hotel and would be in the same location. This annex is three blocks away and was essentially an apartment in a block of flats. Most of the other apartments were occupied by permanent residents who eyed us somewhat suspiciously. It was more like an AirBNB and was in no way like a hotel experience. This should be made clearer to someone considering booking these rooms. I specifically booked here because I wanted a quaint, small, German hotel experience. We got nothing like that. We were given a key and told to head to a building three blocks away and figure out how to get through the security door, outer door, and room door. Somewhat disappointing.

We received very warm welcome and introduction to the city as soon as we arrived! The room was very clean and well appointed. The location was perfect for exploring the castle and old town. We wish we had more time to spend here and will absolutely return to Hotel Zur Alten Brücke.

Close to attractions. The staff were very accommodating. Nothing

Great location! Castle and bridge could be seen from our room (junior suite 1) Be sure to check which room you have chosen if you need an elevator as the apartment and other rooms in the annex building are stairs only

We stayed for two nights at the Hotel Zur Alten Brücke in Heidelberg and our experience was top-notch—we give it a 1000%! First off, the facilities were exactly what we needed. The room was easy to enjoy, and the bed was so comfortable that we immediately felt rested and ready for our days of exploring. The Wi-Fi connection was stable and fast, which was great for planning our itinerary. The housekeeping staff were efficient and kept our room immaculate throughout our stay. The customer service truly blew us away. The staff were all super good and friendly, making every interaction pleasant. But it was the little details that we absolutely loved—especially at breakfast! Our names were displayed on a small blackboard on our table every morning, making us feel so welcomed and special. We also had the pleasure of meeting the Owners! The wife was incredibly warm and chatty, and the husband was right there helping with the cashier. Seeing the family actively involved in the day-to-day operation adds such a genuine, human touch to the stay. All of this combined—the comfortable room, the excellent service, and the personal attention—made our stay a perfect ten. We are definitely ready to come back!
-
Clean, nice furniture and accessories in room, centrally located Window in room did not vent to outside but rather a hallway but a fan in room provided sufficient air flow

Parking is a major hassle. Would never reserve again unless on foot.
